The temperatures in October were unusually high around 90 degrees but the shade of the trees made our hikes a real treat. We grabbed takeout from Bonham one evening and dined in Paris another. With a small kitchen, the rest of our meals were easy to prepare there. The pool looked inviting but we chose to go get target practice in. Next trip we will definitely need to get swimming in. Ending our time by a campfire was the perfect end to our relaxing weekend.

I have been doing this for several years so we have been on quite a few guided fishing trips. This was THE BEST guided fishing trip we have been on so far!! Larry is a people person and he does everything he can to make sure you have an excellent time. A front had blown through the day before so the weather had the fishing messed up. Larry worked hard and took us to many different spots in an effort to make sure we caught the most fish possible. He is definitely the kind of guide who will work hard for his money when the situation calls for it. Larry provides all of the gear and bait you need. His boat is outfitted with side scan sonar and a nice stereo so you can enjoy some good country music while you fish. You only need to show up with some drinks and snacks plus any any other various stuff you might require like sunscreen or bug repellent.
