Employees are friendly and hard working. First night our bedroom TV wouldn't work, called front desk woman who was kind and really tried to help. She requested a service call for the morning. I figured no worry, 1st world problem lol. I mean we didn't book a beach stay for TV. I unplugged it for about 10 minutes, after unpacking etc,replugged it in and it worked. Called her and she was funny and said I'm hired and canceled service call. Each morning had YUMMY bacon for breakfast. My kid loved having a waffle every single day. The last morning there, the gal noticed we were looking for it *explained they were almost out, so didn't set it out* ... however she went and got what they had and it was enough for 1 waffle. That is excellent customer service! Room was clean and relaxing water pressure was great. Disney Jr option made my kid happy. Check-in/out was easy and friendly. Bed was so comfy, plenty of pillows, updated rooms. *yes building is older,who cares, employees can not control or change that* We will absolutely stay again and recommend this place. Parking also was great.

Plus, after a week on a cruise ship, it felt like the biggest room in the world! (It was standard hotel size for two queens, but still felt ginormous.) 4. Great bathroom and supplies. My only real drawback was the water pressure. On the 7th floor, the shower took quite a bit longer than usual to get all the shampoo out. 5. Location - not only on the beach, but within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and fun. Loved it all around. They'll get in the elevator and regardless of how many people are already on board, they'll push right past you and take charge of YOUR ride down to the lobby! I was most upset when I found out that was a MARRIOTT right next door and I could have used the points.

Only a few minor complaints that aren't deal breakers such as the bathroom sink sprayed water everywhere, sit down breakfast took a long time due to crowds, very slow Wi-Fi, and outdoor showers didn't have enough water pressure to get all the beach sand off adequately. The only pain point I can say about our stay is the website states the parking is $15/day and the hotel staff indicated upon checkout that they now charging $20 and have been for several months. Even though there is nothing indicating the price increased and that they are aware that the website contains the incorrect amount, they refused to honor the $15/day parking price. Although the difference is only $5 (or $7.20 after taxes), this adds up daily. The hotel could have easily accommodated a price match since it is their own website stating a lower amount.

The suites were quite spacious with a mini fridge and a microwave to boot. The latter was convenient as I reheated up leftovers while working. Anyway, parking is complimentary, as is breakfast, which had eggs, toast, bacon, etc. I think honestly my only complaint about this hotel is that we happened to get a suite right in front of the pool and that was a bit distracting. Yes, you could pull the blinds down, but it doesn't mean we still didn't hear the noise.

Very frustrating to be out of your room all day and then have to leave again so they can clean it. This was even when I would go days without having them clean it due to the time issues. I don't think they vacuumed my room one time in the three weeks I was there.

The beaches are absolutely beautiful, so much sunshine, and an over abundance of the freshest seafood anywhere. When I visit, I prefer to be as close to the ocean as possible. Hampton Inn fit the bill. The lobby is warm bright and welcoming. Every front desk team member is hospitable and helpful. The common areas are comfortable and cozy. The outdoor patio is perfect for breakfast or a rally point for meeting up throughout the day. The hotel offers a substantial complimentary breakfast every morning. The menu changes daily but the DIY waffle station is always available. The coffee bar is open 24/7. We had a room on the first floor overlooking the pool. The room is large with high ceilings. We had two queen beds and a small loveseat. I must note, this was one of the most comfortable Hilton beds I've ever slept in. Usually the pillows are not comfortable, but I slept well every night and every afternoon for a midday siesta. In room amenities included a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a cupboard with shelving to keep snacks and supplies organized. There's a small closet too small to be of much use. The bathroom is clean with a tub and shower. They offer the standard Hilton linens which were clean and comfortable. The bathroom has plenty of hooks for towels. There's also wall hooks in the room for towels etc. It is nice to be able to keep things tidy and have dry bathing suits. The BEST feature of this hotel is the pool access. The hotel offers two smaller pools. The deck contains a few loungers, chairs, and umbrellas. I recommend upgrading your stay and opting for the VIP access bracelet. This is an additional $20 per person for your entire stay. Kids 12 and under are free. This will give you access to the pools at: Fairfield Pensacola Beach, Holiday Inn Resort, Hilton Pensacola Beach, and Surf and Sand Hotel. The pass also includes bike, paddle board, and kayak usage at Surf and Sand. The pool not your thing? My favorite pool is the Fairfield pool. You'll have to check it out for yourself. The hotel has direct beach access. There are showers for rinsing off all the sand and salt water acquired during the day. There is a rental company for chair and umbrella day rentals. They will set up and tear down everything at the end of the day. I found the prices to be fairly reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel for families. This has all the amenities you need when traveling with children. My children are much older, but this would have been an ideal place when they were small. I did use the laundry facilities during our stay. I have made a point of not lugging dirty laundry back home with me. We also made use of the fitness center. This was a great place and made for a wonderful vacation.

It was the perfect place to stay for our Memorial Day weekend trip. Also, honorable mention that it's a very walkable area and is close to restaurants, shops, and the pier.

Stayed at the Hyatt Place Pensacola Airport during a short business trip. The staff was great…read more.. very friendly, allowed early check-in, accommodated my ground-floor request, and the lobby was clean and inviting. Unfortunately, the room itself was a different story. I found an empty liquor bottle in the coffee area, a stain on the toilet seat, and long hairs under the blankets (definitely not mine, I'm bald). Not a good first impression. I notified both housekeeping and the front desk. Housekeeping offered to fix it, but I declined since these are basic cleanliness issues that should have been handled before check-in. I asked the housekeeper for some cleaning spray and a cloth to clean it myself. I expected to be offered another room or some type of resolution, but that didn't happen. I ended up sleeping on top of the comforter and checked out early the next morning. Staff was excellent, but the room cleanliness and lack of follow-up were disappointing. Not the experience I expected from a Hyatt.
