They had a great selection of drinks and arcade games. I loved how all you had to do was buy a drink and you got access to the arcade. If you did not buy a drink, it was $10 to visit the arcade. Overall it was a great deal. I will for sure be back!

Glitch Bar is honestly one of the coolest spots in FTL, and this review is way overdue. I came here…read morewhen they first opened back when I was living in Flagler Village nearly a decade ago, and it's been a favorite ever since. The vibe is unmatched. Between the music, lots of 90s and 00s rock, which I love. The lineup of classic arcade games from the 80s through early 2000s, it's the ultimate nostalgia overload in the best way possible. That combo alone makes this place stand out. The setup is simple and perfect: buy one drink and you get a wristband for unlimited arcade play. I'm not exaggerating when I say I can spend hours here without even realizing it. We're talking Tekken, Street Fighter, Skee-Ball, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Killer Queen, Frogger, Galaga, Space Invaders, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros... and that's barely scratching the surface. It's such a fun date spot too! Super laid-back, interactive, and guaranteed laughs. Every time I come here, I leave with great memories. There's a huge parking lot in front and street parking all over so you're fine in that department. Glitch Bar forever!! If you're in FTL and haven't been yet, you're seriously missing out. 10/10 recommend!

The staff are super nice, and the bartender gave a great drink recommendation based on what I told him I was looking for. They have game consoles with an insane variety of games throughout the bar and seating area, which are all open to play for free. They have any game you could ever want-PlayStation, Nintendo, sega, etc, and board games to play as well. They have a ton of fun events every month: trivia, bingo, karaoke-always with different themes. If you're looking for something fun to do, I promise this is your place. A million stars!

I've been here before and had a decent experience, but this visit was disappointing enough that I…read morelikely won't return. We came as a group of five. Two of us ordered drinks right away and sat at the bar playing video games. The rest of our group was still deciding what they wanted, which we understood fell under the one drink minimum per person rule. One friend sat with us at the bar while we had our drinks and was told by the bartender that she couldn't sit there without purchasing a drink, so she moved. She then stood near our other friends, who were playing an arcade game, and they were told they could not play unless they each bought a drink. At this point, they stood behind us at the bar to look over the menu and decide what they wanted, but that didn't seem to matter. The bartender repeatedly returned and escalated the situation instead of allowing any reasonable time to order, stating they could get water if they wanted and that it did not have to be alcoholic. After only a couple of minutes, the same bartender came out from behind the bar again and said in a rude, condescending tone that they "don't understand... if they don't buy a drink, then they can't even be in the building." Our friends explained that we had already purchased drinks and were simply deciding what we wanted, but at that point, they were turned off by his behavior and no longer wanted anything--and frankly, neither did we. We cashed out our tab, finished our drinks, and left. We were already paying customers and would have ordered more drinks, but the handling of the situation made that impossible. Instead, the business lost not only our additional sales, but also several friends who were planning to join us and spend money. We are local to the area and not teenagers causing a disturbance, which is what the situation felt like when our friends were told to leave for no clear reason. I understand house rules like a one-drink minimum, but there is a professional way to enforce them. This wasn't it. Not everyone can or wants to order immediately--whether due to preferences, pacing, or dietary restrictions--and the lack of flexibility or basic courtesy was disappointing. Instead of encouraging guests to stay and order more, the approach did the opposite. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my impression of the place, and I don't see myself returning. There are other spots in the area with a similar concept that offer a much more welcoming and customer-friendly experience, and I would recommend exploring those instead.

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!
