Had lunch there on Friday. They had some really cool and affordable lunch specials. I got the calzone and my wife got the chicken pesto sandwich. Both were very tasty. Customer service was great and friendly. Atmosphere was really nice too. I will definitely return to try dinner soon. read more

We made reservations for 8:30 on New Year's Eve it took a while to get our table when we did it took a while to get even a glass of water besides the service the food was horrible not just one person complained at my table all of us complained the food was cold the chicken was dry the meatball was just terrible so besides having horrible food for the new year my company and I had a great time we tried not to let this get us down. We went for Easter brunch! It was such a disaster! They had 4 hostesses standing around when the place was barely 1/2 full- so when they kept running out of plates and people were just standing there waiting, finally or perhaps eventually one of the hostesses brought out a stack of plates, plus they kept running out of plates! Some of the food was cold, raw bacon and the funniest of it all the poor guy making omelettes, pasta, waffles keep asking for more batter while we stood online waiting forever for pancake batter- lol Finally asked the manager I'm assuming because he was standing there talking with people (never noticing how people were just standing there Waiting for food, the manager never came back to let him know the batter was on the way So he eventually left the station to retrieve it himself. Raw meat extremely undercooked and fatty ham! I'd talk about the mimosas but basically orange juice! They absolutely need to manage the service of the food! Won't ever go back for brunch! I like the vibe and the menu at Red Sauce, even though it can be a bit loud. We've eaten there a few times, usually as part of a larger group of 20 or so, it's typically at least okay. But last nite it was terrible! The food was okay. the meatball appetizer was edible but not memorable. The IPA was good enough that I wanted a second, I actually paid for a second but never got it. Yes, I should have complained but honestly after we waited so long for food then for the checks I just wanted to get out of there. The service for the entire group was just bad. Long time for drink orders, long time for dinner orders, then an hour after dinner orders, we're told that one of the ordered dishes isn't available. Then failed drink service during dinner then it took forever to get checks and half were wrong.... Even after getting a lecture to avoid moving seats during dinner (which we don't do anyway). It was mostly couples sitting across from each other and no one moved. There was no excuse for the poor service or many, many errors. If you are thinking of eating here, My 2 cents ....avoid it if you're looking for a nice meal with good service. If you want to take a chance with 2 or 4 people, then it might be worth a try. But as part of a group in the main dining area, I just don't think they staff those the way need to. If you are restaurant management or staff, please work to fix the issues rather than justify substandard service. read more

It's hard to find a gluten free pizza that has much flavor. Red Sauce comes pretty close. We have been here a few times - mostly eating outside at the bar at a high top. It's always a good crowd with good service. Hubby really likes the pepperoni pizza and I like the goat cheese gluten free one. I just wish there was smaller size. I hate taking 3/4 of it home and it's too much to eat. Btw, don't skip the key lime pie - good stuff. read more

Last night (10/23/25) I ordered a special which was a 6 oz. Steak , three scallops, mashed potato and asparagus. Not wanting to appear frugal I never asked our waiter Ken what the price of the special was. The meal was good, not great, but good as is usually the case at this restaurant we frequently visit. When our check arrived I was in shock as my special was $64.00, for a small steak and three scallops with (2) sides. My point is, if the waiter does not offer the price up front , Do Not be afraid to ask. I would never ordered a $64. meal. The wait staff should be trained to make known the price of these 'specials' without the customer having to ask. read more

Salad was fresh and crisp, meatballs were huge in size packed with flavor. We loved the gluten free options for our friend. Dylan our server was so great friendly, fast and always with a smile. A 20 minute wait for drinks. No bread put on table until asked for. Salads arrived in 25 minutes. After salads meal took 35 More minutes to arrive after inquiring about our order. No real reason for Bad service given to us. read more

The food is ok at best. This place is good for people watching. It is placed at the corner across the street from the pier and the town square so there is a lot of foot traffic and things to see. I would come here for that reason alone. We came here with a party of 8 and were seated within 10 minutes. We opted to sit outside and it was fairly cool under the patio. They had some coloring paper and crayons for my kids and booster seats. The server was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered calamari, Caesar salads, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken alfredo, cajun chicken pasta and the mahi mahi special. The appetizers were good and the mains were fine. Loved this place in the Villages. Business has picked up again so it was bustling even in the slow season(searing heat with crippling humidity ), The menu is awesome but we chose pizza. My husband got the veggie and I got the white pizza. The veggie pizza was loaded with vegatables! Great! My white pizza had seasoned chicken breast, tomato, spinach, ricotta and mozzarella and it was phenomenal. For $15, the pizza was huge. I had three big slices and had four more to take home. The crust was a lovely hybrid between thin and pan, and the chew of it was perfect. Try this place out if you haven't already. read more

We decided to have a date night, or she did and I agreed. I happen to be on their newsletter list and had a 50% of second entrees when you buy two drinks, so you are getting drinks paid for and sanding about a dollar. I ordered the chicken Marsala and she ordered lasagna. Drink's showed up in 3 minutes and the entrees came 10 minutes later. Fast and hot. The bread basket came out 1 minute later. It was good. Paced a bit quick. The restaurant needs some sound deadening materials or walls to keep the din lower. And the saxophone player was not overly loud but people the talk louder to overcome the noise. First time eating there On Monday night. Took almost 2 hours to get our main dish. Manager bad attitude rolled his eyes at me when I complained about the time it took. Offered to pay for a desert but it was too late to eat it. Should have gave us a free main course. When we did get the food it was awful. Came for Sunday Brunch which included bottomless mimosas. It was pretty buys with people, lucky enough we made a reservation for 4 people and did not have and difficulty getting seated. It is buffet style, where you wait in line and serve yourself. Some food was on the saltier side, like the fried fish. They had a wonderful variety of food ranging from caprese salad to broccoli salad, to carving station, build your own omelet/waffle/pancake. The negative about this, is we finished our meal before we even saw a waitress to give us mimosas or waters for that matter. We said something to the waitress who got very defensive. To get our moneys worth we tried to consume a few after the meal, however there was little to no alcohol in the meal. read more
