They only did testing on my car , I had two open recalls that literally says what to do to replace the pieces , they do not replace the items . Testing for 1 hour , my car was sitting there for 40 mins so it would only be 20 mins of testing . Appointment at 9am but didn't take my car in until 9:10am . I got there at 8:50am . ALL THEY HAD TO DO Was CHANGE DOT 3 brake fluid to dot 4 but they didn't even have brake fluid . read more

WOW I AM SO DISGUSTED. I bought my car from this dealership. They gave me free oil changes so I continued to bring it there only for services/maintenance, although I wasn't throughly happy with my purchasing experience. I have a 2019 Ford Edge. It is common knowledge to the service staff and mechanics that the transmission fluid must be flushed every 30,000 miles. It is part of the maintenance package they give the cars at 35,000 miles. I have paper work which states I asked them to give me this service package when I went in for my routine oil change. I assumed they did everything they were supposed to. I assumed wrong. Not once did they ever flush my transmission fluid. At about 60,000 miles my car begins to lurch. At this point the entire staff has changed in the service department. Everyone that worked there must have been fired. The new service manager Drew is SCUM. I brought my car in complaining of lurching at 61,000 miles. I had an appointment at 9am. I sat there until noon. They had driven my car around back and done nothing. I told them I needed to pick my daughter up in an hour from school. They said it needed a transmission flush it would take an hour. I said great so we have time. Drew said "no I don't like to rush my mechanics you'll have to bring it back." So I left. Being a single mom and extremely busy with work and having already missed several days of work at this point trying to diagnose what was wrong with my car (at this point I didn't realize that they had never ever touched the transmission fluid), I didn't have the chance to come back in for a while. The second time I bring my car in to flush the transmission, they keep my car from 10am and don't call me back until about 5pm. Drew informs me that my Torque converter celenoid is bad and it needs replaced, it will cost $2000 he tells me. When I go in to pick the car up I ask him how did he determine this was the issue? He says he ran a scope. I asked him did you flush the transmission fluid as I asked you to do? He said no it didn't need a transmission flush. I ask him to pull up all my paperwork and print it out. I ask him "has my transmission fluid ever been flushed?" He looks at my records he say "no it's never been flushed." I asked why? He says "you've never asked for it." I said "it's included in the package at the 35,000 mile maintenance, it should have been done then. The users guide for this car says you have to flush the transmission every 30,000 miles." He continues to argue with me and try to tell me I'm wrong. He tells me to call Ford customer care and get them to pay for my repairs. I spend another month and a half trying to call customer care, and other mechanics and asking all around about what to do because now I'm throughly freaked out thinking I need this expensive repair done. Finally a friend said she had a similar experience and she went and flushed her transmission and her car has been fine ever since. So I called up redwood Ford for the 3rd time to ask them to flush my transmission. This time I sat behind my car in the bay the entire time to ensure that they did in-fact flush my transmission. When the mechanic was done doing his job he showed me the transmission fluid it was BLACK. He told me it had clearly never been changed and he didn't understand why, that it was part of the 35,000 mile maintenance package. I brought this up to Drew as I paid. I asked him, so what happens if something goes wrong with my transmission due to the shops negligence to maintenance of my car? He tried to tell me that not flushing the transmission fluid on time wouldn't negatively affect my car. I also pointed out to him that I had a tire pressure sensor fault alarm going off on my dash. He tried to tell me that my tires were just getting deflated. I said no that's not what's going on. He continued to try to tell me I was wrong and there was nothing to fix. I said so you're telling me that you're not going to fix this problem on my car? He said "you know what Allison this is the second time you've come in here and been arguementative, I think it's time you find a different dealership." Wow this service manager Drew is SCUM!! He tried to get me to replace the torque converter celenoid unnecessarily, he tried to tell me my car didn't need a transmission flush when it did! I got the transmission flushed and it's fine! He knowingly allowed me to drive in my car unsafely! I am a single mother with a 4 year old daughter! He has put me and my daughters life in danger by not being an honest person and trying to rip me off. The owner of this dealership should be ashamed for allowing someone like this be a manager for him. This man should be fired! Absolutely disgusting. I contacted the dealer who sold me my vehicle right then and there and they said that Redwood Ford is supposed to take care of it as an authorized Ford dealership, but also said he has had problems with them for quite some time and recommended me to Hansel Ford in Santa Rosa instead. The turbo on my engine went out after having the car for less than 3 months and bringing it home with less than 65,000 miles on it. It's been almost two months I've waited to get my car back and all they do is make excuses about why the car isn't fixed yet. TWO MONTHS! Means that I've been out of work for...TWO MONTHS! I have to make up the car payments I'm missing because I can't work without a car. I do deliveries for a living as an independent contractor. I need to work! Specifically, DJ has been rude, non-communicative, careless, and very slow in doing their work. Even after explaining my situation to them they still didn't try to help me with a loaner vehicle. DJ spoke to me like I was the one who broke the turbo! I didn't even know about a turbo unit in the engine. If I did I probably would've had it fixed myself weeks ago! DJ is a brainless idiot who obviously doesn't care about his jobs as someone is supposed to not just keep our cars safely rolling but as customer service reps for the company. He sucks! And it sucks if you have a warranty through the car dealership with them because then like me you have no choice but to bring it there. I just drove over three hours over a flyer I received stating that I won some sort of cash prize. It was a card where you would match different shapes, corresponding to a certain prize. Mine stated $5,000. I called the number at the bottom and they stated that it was a legitimate cash prize. Called the dealership to confirm as well. Turns out, this is only a way to get people in to the dealership and the only fruit of your efforts is a pair of, as they stated, "Apple AirPods". We received a mailer with what appeared to be a winning $5000 game piece. We read through the rules and searched through the fine print but my husband and I both couldn't see where this was not a legitimate winning ticket. Clearly, many others also believed they were a $5000 winner from the other posted reviews. How deceptive to drag all these people into their dealership under false pretenses to then attempt to sell a vehicle. My first review I posted was removed by Yelp because they said my review was based on media attention and not customer experience. Clearly they saw and uptick in negative reviews regarding this and Redwood For. I have emailed Yelp explaining our driving 45 minutes and entering their dealership under this scam certainly should qualify under the criteria of a negative customer experience and not media attention. Had this been legitimate, we would certainly have given Redwood Ford the the first opportunity at our business in the future. Instead we will never do business with them. I think they have alienated many potential customers in this poor marketing expedition. I have also filed a complaint to the FTC and encourage any others who find this marketing tactic upsetting to do the same. Service department is a joke. Took my truck in for a heating problem and an oil change. Paid almost $400 for them to tell me my coolant was dirty and possibly needed a new thermostat. With a hand written note that my turbo had a coolant leak. I got home (1.5hrs away) and my truck was overheating. I needed a half a bottle of coolant because they didn't even bother to put any in. Then I waited almost 2 months to get back a quote when they call and tell me the shop guys wanted to look at a turbo leak since it was only the "lube tech" that noticed it. I have known about this leak and there have been even previous warranty work on coolant leak on my truck. WTF did I pay for in the first place? These crooks are just out to get your money. They are obviously used to people complaining too b/c when my husband went to pay the bill ($1100 for parts and labor that didn't fix the problem) they quickly asked do you want to speak with a manager?!? No thanks! Too late! It would've been nice to speak to a mechanic one of the 20 times we were told we would get a call back or an update! 2 weeks later all we get is a bill and a suggestion to replace the transmission for $6000...No thanks again! We believe Larissa's job is to get clients and apologize to clients but don't expect for her to actually call you back or do anything she says she will do. We were told we would be seen the first day, then it was the certified mechanic had called out sick, then this, then that. I found the car I was interested in online and communicated with them via phone, text and email before making the trip. Scott set me up and Rocky handled the sale and they both provided me with quick, courteous and professional service whenever required. They were so efficient with there service and pricing that I was confident enough to make a six hour round trip ride just to do business with them. That pretty much says it all. The prize that seems to be coming up from the reviews myself and a few others is $5000 prize. I called the number on the flyer before making a 3+ hr. round trip to make sure it was legit. I was told that, yes, it was real, and the lady on the phone actually gave an appointment time to pick up my money. When I arrived at Redwood Ford, the sales person took my flyer and folded it over to the fine print and said the secret is in the wording. It says your number must match the number on THIER BOARD. He gave me a pair of ear buds. I spoke to a Manager named Gary. He claims it is not a scam. He then blamed this mess on " The Insurance Company". He claims that he has no control and the insurance company made the event and he has to do what they tell him. Then he blamed the postal service because they were not supposed to send the flyers over 50 miles. This is obvious dirty and deceptive business practice. The most DISGUSTING part of this was an Elderly gentleman was in the office to find out the same thing. As he walked out angry about being scammed, the sales staff and a manager were making fun of this man, laughing, cheering and saying , "Another Happy Customer". **DO NOT HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE** Long story somewhat short... Took my SUV in under warranty for what I thought was radiator fluid (lime green) leaking. Six days later after zero phone calls from the service department on the status of my vehicle, I receive a call telling my vehicle is ready. I pick my vehicle up and was told that it needed a new radiator. Upon driving home I notice the AC wasn't functioning properly, but it seemed to fix itself later. This problem would get worse over the next 5 days. Then I pop the hood and see the same green fluid leaking in the same spot. I return to Redwood Ford and the genius mechanic is perplexed, but finally realizes the fluid is not radiator fluid, but something entirely different. Oh! My radiator fluid is red, not lime green. This means the mechanic lied about me needing a new radiator as the leak was never coming from the radiator, but somewhere entirely different. I'm then told by the service manager that the Chrysler dealership down the road is expecting me and they will perform the repairs on my SUV. Didn't ask me if this was ok...just made the call. I think this was done because Redwood Ford did not want to be responsible for the repair costs out of pocket since they failed to diagnose the issue and made a repair that I never needed in the first place. Now, I'm stuck with a new radiator I didn't need, my original leaking SUV, a new service department, a new deductable, and a stupid rental car. Thanks Redwood Ford!!! I initially spoke to Shannon who suggested I talk to Darwin, She said I could drop in, and, as long as Darwin had time, he would do his best to assist me. WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. The staff for the most part are soulless zombies that walk around all day with scowls on their face and no sense of happiness! I purchased my vehicle from the previous owner of this dealership. My car died and I had it towed to the shop. It took them 3 days before I could get someone to even look at it. I had to rent a car just to be able to go to work. Then when I went to pick it up after 6 days this is the way it was returned to me. I actually believe they worked on it in the rain. It was dirty and muddy on both sides of the front mats as well as muddy footprints on the interior of the car. So they did not do anything to protect my interior from their muddy feet.
