We tried the Insalata caprese and it too was the best we ever had! He ordered the lasagna bolognese and was very impressed said it was better than anywhere else he's had it! Our favorite thing about this place was the price for the quality of food and drinks. Honestly, this place was so affordable. $8 margaritas that were delicious?! Under $25 for a heaping size of delicious pasta?! You absolutely cannot go wrong. garlic bread- 5/5. this was literally free but so good I couldn't stop eating it. Anything with garlic is amazing but it also had this lovely spice to it, and it went so well with the balsamic and olive oil at the table. frutti di mare- 5/5. SO much seafood in this dish and it was perfectly cooked. The sauce was so delicious and I would honestly order this dish over and over again. bolognese- 5/5. This was my first time trying this restaurant, and I chose it based on the great reviews. It definitely lived up to the hype--both the food and service were wonderful! I ordered the pasta with salmon in vodka sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The garlic bread was also amazing--fresh, soft in the middle, and so good that I asked for seconds. 2nd time at this spot and showed up just before high traffic so the vibe has been very chill and relaxed so tables are immediately available. Once they take your order they bring you they bring you feasted bred with fresh garlic and butter/olive oil on top. We use the olive oil and vinaigrette to dip and takes the bread over the top! We went there right when it opened on a Sunday. There was an ample parking lot. When we got in, we were kindly greeted and seated. I got the Linguine Alle Vongole and my Fronde got the Spaghetti Fruitti di Mare. The dishes were phenomenal! The prices were reasonable! The waiter was extremely kinda and attentive! We brought friends on Saturday night after eating there on a weekday evening. Two really different experiences. The week night, the service and food was really good,and hot. Wait staff was attentive. This past weekend was totally not great, Even though the food was good, it was NOT hot and took an incredibly long time. We had to ask for drink refills, and bread, which we didn't receive. I was craving chicken Parmesan and found this place on Yelp. After reading so many great reviews I had to try it for myself. The restaurant itself is kept up well and clean with nice decor. Every table had its own olive oil and balsamic which is always so nice. Their bread is toasted with a delicate crunch and soft. It picked up the olive oil and balsamic very well. The olive oil and balsamic were good quality. The olive oil was delicate and aromatic, not too bitter or acidic. The balsamic was nicely balanced and also was not too acidic or harsh. I ordered the grilled romaine as an appetizer. The lettuce was crisp and the Caesar dressing was good. I tried their pumpkin ravioli in butter sage sauce which was nice. Their bread walnuts complimented it very nicely. The chicken Parmesan was very good. The waiter said they make their own tomato sauce. The tomato sauce was nicely balanced with good flavor. It was not bland or too salty, or acidic. The chicken Parmesan was satisfying. For desert I had a crème brûlée and that too was delicious. They didn't show the check calculation and just presented a total and spot for tip when we asked for the check. We tipped and signed and asked for a receipt. They added gratuity before presenting the payment machine and tricked us out of an extra tip. Just left with a terrible experience. I ordered a couple of half trays of pasta for a gathering to celebrate my mom's bday. I ordered the night before to pick up today at 11:30 am. I get there around 11:40 and the foods not ready. They tell me itll be ready in 10 min. It takes 40 mins then they bring out the food. They bring out full trays. I told them I ordered half. The guy said he'll just give it to me for half price but they end up taking another 15 mins to transfer it to half trays. I didn't care for the extra food but just wanted my food so my guests didn't have to wait. They were not very apologetic and didn't have a sense of urgency. This is a homely restaurant tugged away in a quiet corner (at least on it was not busy when we showed up at 11am sharp on a Saturday morning). The parking lot has ample slots. The staff was friendly and greeted us with smiles, which is always great. The waitress quickly brought out the complementary garlic bread with olive oil and black vinegar. The interior resembled much of the older style Spanish/Italian decor, was quite a cozy atmosphere. We ordered the seafood spaghetti, veal shank, and bbq chicken pizza. The pasta came out piping hot with a generous amount of seafood including shrimps, salmon, clams, mussels, and squid. The sauce was very very mildly spiced which I love. The waitress added grated Parmesan to it and it was perfect. The veal shank was super, fall-off-the-bone tender. It was accompanied by broccoli, carrots, and mashed potato. The sauce was sort of like a mix of mushroom sauce and tomato sauce (kind of like ragu but better). Portion was plenty. The thin crusted bbq chicken pizza was delightfully cheesy, especially with the added grated Parmesan. Flavor was good as well. We finished off the meal with a crème brûlée and a flan. The crème brûlée was smooth and the charred sugar topping was always fun to tap on. Yet the flan won my heart more. I'd flan plenty of time but usually they were either too soft (watery) or too hard. The flan here has the most perfect texture. It was sturdy but not too hard, and the silky smoothness on the tongue was lovely for the palate. Although the syrup was a tad too sweet but the texture of the flan itself was just wonderful. Finally, pricing was fair and portion size was not bad at all. Highly recommend! read more

This place is interesting! When we first walked in, we thought we were in the wrong place because the inside looks like a Mexican restaurant that turns into a dance club at night. It is NOT that, but the ambiance does not exude Italian vibes aside from some photos of Italy. The server who helped us appeared to be the only waitress, and she did a phenomenal job. They also have one of those robot waiters, theirs is a kitty named Bella! I loved it! We ordered a caprese salad, fettucine alfredo, and a BBQ chicken pizza. The caprese salad was the best part! It was served with salad greens and no basil, but it was delicious. The pasta was also good. The bbq chicken was good, but the crust was too thin for the toppings. I can't tell you what a treat this restaurant was. Driving home from a day in Anaheim (you know where) I searched and found this recommendation. What a pleasant surprise. From the quiet parking lot, the simple entry and dining room and the no nonsense menu, this is a gem in the rough. Water and bread arrived without asking. The chef came and greeted us answer a question about the menu and preparation. We shared a Caprese Salad(happy hour size, simple, fresh and arrived via a robot!) and then ordered pasta off the menu. Ravioli Aurora (light, delicate spinach and ricotta ravioli "cuscini d'amore" with a simple tomato sauce ) was simply divine. The Fettuccini Al Funghi Porcini Capesantee Gamberi was one of the best dishes I've ever had in my life. The simple light sauce with sautéed mushrooms, scallops and shrimp was a revelation. We will be back as there is a full menu of creative new and traditional dishes offered. I look forward to seeing what else the chef has to offer.
