Was craving pizza and found this spot on Yelp. Was able to call and order for pickup and the pizza was almost ready by the time we arrived 15min later. It was a hot summer day and the restaurant interior was definitely pretty warm especially with the pizza oven going. It smelled heavenly in there though. We got the large calabrian pizza which was delicious - only wish we ate it there while it was fresh and piping hot. The pappardelle bolognese was a little disappointing. I was expecting a tomato based pasta sauce. But it turned out to just be plain. Will probably skip this pasta and try something else next time!

I've been wanting to try this place foor SO LONG. I once tried one of their pizzas to go and it was bomb. Finally decided it was time to dine in. Ordered the pistachio and mortadella pizza and their prime rib eye steak to share. Everything was so good! The place sure is vibey. They have long tables and most seats are bench seating. Cash only, so come prepared. Service was good. I already can't wait to tell my friends about it so I can come back some day!

So I always pass by this spot but hadn't been here in years, at least not since it changed from Bollini's. We parked in the center right next door, and just a heads up, it's cash only. We were seated right away, and the place already had quite a few people dining inside. The experience started a little off for me when ordering. I asked for the spaghetti carbonara with added chicken, and was told no because it already came with bacon. I understood that, but I still wanted to add chicken. I then asked if I could order the penne pasta dish with chicken but substitute a different pasta since I'm not a fan of penne, and again was told no. I've been to plenty of restaurants that don't allow certain substitutions, but simply adding chicken seemed like a reasonable request, especially since I didn't mind paying extra for it. It just felt a little strange being told no to every option. That said, the other staff members were attentive and provided good service throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is casual and had a steady crowd while we were there. I also noticed the entire staff working that night appeared to be male, just an observation. The food itself was really good. The baby greens salad, pasta dish, and chicken portobello were all very flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, I left with mixed feelings because the food was solid, but the ordering experience could have been more accommodating. Still, I would recommend giving this place a try because the food definitely delivers.

    Linguini with Lobster

My sister-in-law and her husband brought our family here for dinner, and everything was amazing! They've been coming here for about two years, and now I understand why. The mashed potatoes were incredibly soft, creamy, and full of flavor. We ordered the Margherita pizza and a cheese pizza for the kids, and both were delicious. The pizzas were cooked in a wood-fired brick oven, and you could really taste the difference. The carbonara was one of my favorite dishes. It came with an egg yolk on top that you mix into the pasta, making it rich, creamy, and flavorful. The lobster linguine was another standout dish. We also ordered the pork wings, which were so tender they practically fell off the bone and were served over delicious mashed potatoes. The mushroom ravioli was unique, comforting, and packed with flavor. We also shared the ribeye steak, which was cooked perfectly and was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. What really made the experience special was the service. The owner regularly stopped by to check on our table and make sure everything was good, and everyone working there was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was excellent, and every dish tasted like it was made with care and love. This was one of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time, and we'll definitely be back!

One of the best local hidden gems in the 626! I've been coming to Ravello osteria for years. ABSOLUTELY love their pizzas. Recently came on a Tuesday night around 6:30 PM, and surprisingly it wasn't as busy. We came to celebrate a birthday. The decor is very vintage, they have a huge brick pizza oven, which is where the magic happens. It appears that their menu has rotates seasonally because the first time I came perhaps a year ago, we had the pork chop. In our recent visit we had the ribeye. Ribeye is AMAZING by the way, highly recommended by our server. Huge shoutout to our server Meena, who really went above and beyond, he was the star of the night. My favorite pizza from Ravello osteria--the Porco pizza. Must have. It's surely something about their dough that leaves an everlasting impression. So much that I've ordered delivery and takeout many times. One thing Meena also recommended was the seabass. However, this was only available on the weekends. Heads up, this place is CASH ONLY! Make sure you have cash! They also close on Mondays. It also can get quite busy during peak hours on the weekends. Last tip--it can get hot in there during the summer. Parking can be found on the street in front, or you could gamble and park in the back in Dollar Tree's lot (I typically do this).

Little hole in the wall with the best food in town. Italy in LA. Cash only. The place gets busy. Employees friendly with good service.

Food: 3.5/5: Overall the New York pizza was great, pistachio a little salty for my likely, the pasta lobster was a bit too salty for me as well. But overall enjoyed the dishes. Service 5/5: Staff is stellar, very friendly and knew their menu! Team was very quick also! Ambiance 4/5: Decor was rustic, nice photos, love the view of the oven and team preparing the dishes.

CASH ONLY - A new, "go-to" Italian spot for me! Delicious dishes! Go try this place and be ready to wait on a Saturday night (table for 4 waited 30min, no reservation). Best dish of the night: Penne with Nduja Sausage and peppers (whole table could not stop eating it. Fav dish for 3 of 4 guests!) We ordered: Baby Mix Salad, spaghetti carbonara, penne w sausage and peppers, and truffle pizza Other highlights, raspberry vinaigrette on the baby mix salad was perfectly light and flavorful. Carbonara was a strong, hearty, SOLID dish. Pizza was also tasty and thinner, Neapolitan style. Ambiance, busy and on the louder side, but that could have been our luck with the table next to us. Dishes on the higher side of $20+ so be prepared for a nicer evening out. The quality of the food is worth the price tag. Would go again!

CASH ONLY and worth it. We dined on a Tuesday around 12:30p there were about 3 other tables besides us. We were a party of 8 and food came out at a reasonable amount of time, entire table's order arrived within 20-25 minutes. Starter bread was so good! It's flat bread drizzled with olive oil and pesto. Perfect amount of crisp and chew. We loved it so much we ordered a large pie of it.. Meatballs Provencal -meatballs were so tender and melt in your mouth, so flavorful. Pork Osso Buco -so tender, fall of the bone! Garlic mash potatoes was so creamy but wasn't mashed fully and you get small chunks of potatoes which I personally prefer. The Asian in me wished we had a side of white rice to pair all the yummy gravy with. Penne Pasta with Organic Chicken -mushroom lover's dream. Sauce was so creamy and tons of mushroom and tender chicken thigh meat. Pasta really absorbed the amazing sauce. Spaghetti with Lobster -great dish and everything ties well together. Tastes just like what you imagine it to taste like. Fennel House Pizza -greens really added some freshness to the salty prosciutto, great balance. Pizza dough is so good; crispy bottom with just the right amount of chew. Calabrian House Pizza -slight kick which added so much flavor. One of our favorites. New York House Pizza -basil adds some freshness to a meat lover's pizza. Simple with a twist.

    Mushroom Ravioli

Was worried it would be super crowded. When I drive by there seems to always be a wait but it was surprisingly roomy inside. They have a few cramped parking spots in the back of the restaurant. I got their mushroom pizza without meat and their mushroom ravioli. The pizza had great dough and thankfully they let us take off the meat. Besides a build your own pizza, there are otherwise no vegetarian options. The mushroom ravioli was my favorite and divine. The umami was in the cheese inside and the sauce on top. Just know that it's in the appetizer section and it's only 4 pieces. Still very rich and filling. Pizza was good as well, not amazing but has good dough. Definitely a few steps above chain pizzas or quick service.

The food is bomb. Cash only. No half-pizza options. It gets packed on weekdays. The Spaghetti Carbonara is very good, and the pizza has a crunchy crust.

New York / Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza - 16" House Crust
    Stephanie V.

Traditional, no frills Italian eatery in the area serves wood fire pizza, fresh pasta dishes, and other food items. We enjoyed our dining experience at Ravello. Didn't mind the wait as it was a Saturday evening. We waited about 15 min before being sat down at one of their communal tables. I actually enjoyed this because everyone from the staff to other guests were super friendly. We ordered a 16 inch New York Pizza and the Spaghetti Carbonara. Everything cooked to perfection. The pizza was quick and the pasta had a nice chew in the noodle that you can only get from fresh pasta. Our server recommended the spicy yellow sauce condiment to enjoy with our pizza and it was yummy! We did enjoy some of their complimentary pizza bread with pesto, but didn't want to spoil our appetite since we were getting pizza. It was yummy too. Everything tasted fresh and we enjoyed our meal! I think the only thing I would say is that the restaurant could use more AC or ventilation because it can be a little stuffy, but it's not a big deal and wouldn't prevent us from going there again. Like everyone also says... cash only and there is an atm in the restaurant. Again, not a big deal.

I've tried numerous dishes here and haven't been disappointed. Their pastas, salads, and lasagna are really good. I could eat the garlic bread all day! They have a robot server that brings the food to your table; then the server hands it too you. Not sure if it creates efficiency, but is novel at the very least. One of the fork/knife/napkin wraps was dirty. The staff itself is slow and taciturn - neutral instead of friendly or welcoming. It's a cavernous space which is quite noisy when very many tables are occupied. Dishes are brought out by a cute robot (which also plays "Happy Birthday") with the staff actually serving the items. Again, the robot was less than pristine. The food was pedestrian. Most of the items did not have a "home made" look or taste. The house sauce was on many things and was unremarkable. Some items were close to inedible: as an example, in an order of chicken parmesan, the chicken was very thin, tough, and stringy, and the coating was overcooked. Interestingly, it was served with mashed potatoes, broccoli, and carrots instead of pasta. In a final negative note, a 3% "Restaurant Management Fee" was added to the bill. None of our party can recall any mention of that before the bill was presented. Not a place we will return to.
