My daughter really enjoyed their falafel pita. I ordered a side of falafel, and can agree with her that the falafel was perfectly crunchy and seasoned well. One of the best tasting falafel I've had in the Chicagoland area. It's a little tucked away in a strip mall, but parking was easy since there is a decent sized lot.

Tried their catering for a work lunch! The food was delicious and the service was great. Ordered food around 10:30am and Khalid delivered the food by 12:35. He went above and beyond with the order to make sure we enjoy our meal. Even gave plates and cutlery with the order. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

We saw Reef Kabob in the past, but finally decided to stop in for lunch. The dining area was smaller than expected, but it wasn't busy when we went. The decor and ambiance were nice enough. We ordered an Arayes Meat Sandwich and BBQ Chicken. The Arayes came w/ home cut fries, which were pretty good. The sandwich was good, but greasy. It was much greasier than the Arayes at Badia al-Tandoori. The BBQ Chicken was excellent, and came with a tasty garlic sauce. As for sides, they had a self-serve selection of items, buffet style. They had rice, hummus, baba ghanoush, and a few other items. Overall, a very nice lunch. Pricing was reasonable and service was friendly.

I stopped in with my family for dinner and we were immediately accompanied by the store owner and his staff. Everybody was so warm and welcoming. We ordered an array of kabobs and everything was so delicious! The meats were tender, juicy and generously portioned! After we placed our order, our waiter told us to help ourselves to their salad bar! That's so unique and unexpected touch to the restaurant. Their salad's stole the show and really elevated the dinner. I rate this place 5 stars and will be coming back. Amazing experience.

Service was great. Food was awesome, highly recommend trying a variety of kabobs. We got a dinner for four and all the flavors were on point. Spot was chill for midday on a Sunday and there are a few places one or two doors down where you can pick up delicious sweets. The hummus was delicious, mmm!

This is my first time at Reef Kobab and I loved everything about my experience. The place is nice, the service was outstanding and the food was very delicious. The mixed grill was my favorite and the Tabouli was made right. 5 stars

Was in the area and was craving shawarma. I saw a recent video of someone reviewing a bunch of…read moreshawarma spots in the area and decided to try their pick for number 1 for beef shawarma. It was pretty good, the best part was sitting in front of their fire oven they use to freshly bake their soft pillowy bread they use for their sandwiches. The bread was definitely the best part! Usually shawarma sandwhiches are in a wrap, but these are so much better. As far as the beef, it was good, not my favorite as far as flavor wise, but still pretty good. Fries were literally exactly like McDonald's which are the best. Glad to have tried this place for sure.

Decided on a Saturday early evening to try Nashmi after hearing a ton of raving feedback…read more As I approached, the parking lot was packed, nowhere to park, 11+ cars stacked in the parking lot waiting for the drive thru, it was chaotic. I decided to park next door at the McDonald's to avoid the mayhem. I walked into Nashmi and no line to order, however they did have 19 people working on one line, and yes I counted! After seeing that, it made me really think these guys must be busy as heck! Ambiance was nice and very clean! Tables with high top seating across the windows. Would not be an ideal place to dine in with a large group so something to keep in mind. As I approached the register, I was greeted and told I would be taken care of shortly! So far so good! I decided to order the "Nashmi Chicken Combo". I was told it was a sandwich that came with chicken tenderloin, flame grilled and served in a house made bread with garlic and pickles. Combo meant it came with 2 sandwiches and 1 order of fries and a drink. However, I didn't get my drink, it was such a confusing pickup process and no communication on to grab a soda or not. I spent $14.99 so for that much food, I guess the drink can be overlooked. I received my order, walked back to the car and now the food. I don't get it. Chicken was bland, bread was good but small, the overall sandwich was just nothing special. Maybe 5 pieces of chicken total in the sandwich. All I really tasted was the garlic sauce, which was phenomenal by the way, but I came here for the protein and the chicken was just underwhelming. The fries were equivalent to McDonald's but they were good, not seasoned or salted but still tasted good. Hot sauce was average. I ate one sandwich and felt terrible that all I ate was 80% bread and 20% chicken. I don't even eat the second sandwich. Overall not sure what everyone is waiting in line for or what this hype is. This doesn't even come close to the other middle eastern shawarma shops on Harlem Ave. I can understand if you have a very weak palate or cannot tolerate too much spice or flavor but a line out the parking lot is kinda crazy for this.

So, I was in the mood for shawarma and I've been looking on Google/Yelp/TikTok/IG. I found out…read moreabout this place because it was highly rated on Google and Yelp. I looked them up on TikTok and the reviews were equal to the written ones. Usually, I take whatever those "influencers" say with a grain of salt because they think everything is good. They have no standards. However, for this place they were right on the money. This is a small shop and the parking lot is kind of weird. You can easily find a spot here since it's mostly a takeout place. They have 3 barstools for waiting for your food. They also have a tiny table that seats 2 inside and a table outside. It's a true mom and pop shop. The wife hands you a free falafel with hummus. The falafel is crispy outside and the inside is very fresh. Nothing is dry. The couple is very kind and generous. The prices are great for what you get. They are closed on Sundays and they are open late. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and beef shawafel sandwich. The chicken shawarma had slices of marinated chicken thighs along with the house salad and sauce. It was amazing. I really enjoyed how tender the chicken was. It went great with the sauce and salad. The beef shawafel was about the same except it has beef and falafel in it. It was equally as good as the chicken. You can also get shawarmas in a wrap or a platter, but I prefer getting them in a classic pita. I know where to go if I have a craving for shawarma.

What a great selection of combination options and the humble owner, also the amazing chef, hooks it…read moreup generously! Their falafel is one of - kind for this neighborhood (it's even shaped differently than the usual circle). Ther falafel is an absolutely delicious must try - their recipe is authentic and your taste buds will be dancing for more! A clean small spot where most folks carry out/pick up to go and the ambiance is super friendly. This place takes pride in the food they make and everything is made to order.
