Another 5 star experience spending the holidays here. This time it was for Mother's Day. The price is right, the employees are phenomenal, & their buffet has something for everyone. Be sure to book your spot early. They fill up fast!

My family really enjoys spending the holidays with The Tap Room at Dubsdread. The buffet is always top notch and filled with delicious food for everyone's taste and desires. The service is great the staff is always friendly. The ambiance is fantastic. They offer valet parking, professional photographers, and a mouth watering buffet with lots of choices to indulge in. They start taking reservations about one month before the event and they do fill up fast. It is very delightful and relaxing way to spend a holiday with your loved ones.

Wonderful food , atmosphere and view! I had the gluten free quinoa bowl which was delicious and my hubby had a huge burger with giant onion rings. Look at the colorful, good looking food! The hostesses were nice and Annie, our waitress, was attentive, friendly and always kept my Coke Zero glass full, a very hard job! It is such a blessing being here every time. We will be back!

It's always such a treat to come here. Today we sat on the patio and the afternoon Florida weather was perfect. We started with the deviled eggs with applewood bacon which were a delicious start. They are classic and traditional but with a little Tabasco and a sprinkle of salt, they were delightful. For our entree, we shared the college park burger. The burger is huge and we've learned to share so we can finish the meal with a slice of key lime pie which is a must every time we come. The servers tag teamed so we were always attended to which makes the dining experience a well rounded one.

Great food and great experience! It was an easy process securing a reservation online. When dining at the Tap Room, make sure to drive around the building and park in the back. The parking in the front is used for events in the event space and there will be signage around back for the Tap Room. We were seated right away. The restaurant is very cute with a large bar area, lots of seating, and even plenty of outdoor seating. Our service was impeccable. We needed for nothing. I even appreciate when the server offers to box leftovers up. The food was outstanding. We started with a fresh tomato basil flatbread with the added meatball. There was lots of meat and the flatbread was huge! Perfect for sharing. For main entrees, we got the tequila citrus chicken and the Tap Room classic burger with fries. The chicken was plentiful and super juicy. I loved the flavors. The burger got rave reviews and was filling. I was recommended to get the key lime pie martini and it was phenomenal. Honestly one of my most favorite cocktails I've ordered out in along time! It tasted exactly like a key lime pie with a good alcohol punch. I cannot wait to come back for another date night!

As always, excellent food and service. Our server, Holly, was a gem. When we asked for balsamic glaze for the tomato basil flatbread appetizer, she also brought arugula, telling us that's what she has on hers. Scrumptious and thoughtful! The crab cakes have always been a favorite, so I had that with the filet. Melted in my mouth! Everything was perfect

We visited The Taproom for Magical Dining this weekend. I've been to Dubsdread for events but never for a regular meal so I was excited to check it out. We were able to easily make a reservation with only a day or two notice and when we arrived we were seated within a couple minutes. It was very busy with a large table that was pretty loud so the atmosphere wasn't the best. Once the large party left the noise level went down a bit but it was still fairly loud inside. Our server Bethann was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive and very thorough. They have happy hour til 7 and luckily we were there in time to catch some specials. We each ordered a cocktail, I got the elderflower spritz and my SO got the coconut margarita. Both drinks were delightful! We both ordered from the Magical Dining menu and got the buffalo shrimp and bleu chips for appetizers. Our apps came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was and the portions were generous. We shared the apps and were happy with the taste of both. For entrees we both got the 12oz Prime Rib. The other options were a tuna steak and a chicken dish. The chicken dish sounded good but I didn't want chicken thighs so I opted for the prime rib which came with mashed potatoes. The prime rib was very good, it came with au jus and horseradish. We ate one of our desserts there (brownie sundae) that was fine. It wasn't anything special, just your basic brownie sundae, and brought home the Key Lime pie. Overall we had a great dinner! Food, service and value were all on par!

Beautiful spot right off the golf course, perfect for a nice sunset drink, family lunch, or date night. Try to make a reservation as there is usually a wait, but you can also sit at the bar or find a high-top first come first serve. The meatballs are a must try shareable app, and the burgers are honestly Top 3 BEST in Orlando. You can customize any salad with your choice of protein- I always go with their Mahi it is incredibly fresh! They also have complimentary valet. This is a spot that keeps you coming back!

Prime Rib with Lemon Spinach Risotto

Magical Dining Event. It's $40 for appetizer , Entree and dessert. Beverage is extra. Opted for the Meatball Appetizer / Prime Rib and Key lime for dessert. The Meatball came with a small portion of fresh bread. The meatball was delicious. Tender soft and seasoned right with marinara sauce and grated parmesan on top. The bread was also delicious. I wished they offered the bread alone as a starter before the meal starts. The meatball was really delicious - You get 2 golf ball sized meatballs and it was tender soft and moist. Kinda melt in your mouth deliciousness. The sauce was seasoned right not too salty. This appetizer surprised me because it was portioned right and delicious. I hold off and eating the other meatball so I have an appetite for the prime rib. The prime rib was I think 12 oz. It was served medium by my request and it was moist had a few specks of fat in between. It was served with horseradish cream sauce on a side and the au jus. I requested to switch off the yukon mashed to a Lemon Spinach Risotto. The prime rib was tender soft but under seasoned. It needed more salt and pepper for the taste but It was cooked perfect. You can eat this with a spoon. It was melt in your mouth tender. The Risotto was also delicious you can taste lots of cream is involved on cooking it and at some point I kinda felt it had the savory rice pudding consistency. The lemon you can barely taste because of the heavy cream. I did not see much spinach in the risotto was well only as a garnish. If they seasoned the prime rib well enough this would have been perfect sliced of prime rib. Otherwise - It was still a delicious slab of beef. The key lime pie was delicious not too overly sweet like how others serve it. It had the tang from the lime. The garnish was shreds of key lime skins . I could only eat 1/2 because I was already full from the meals. Service here this day was ok - Water was not refilled in a timely manner and when they put away the prime rib to go - they did not add the au jus in the container. I had to request au jus before walking out. Some staff were kind to ask how was everything and thanked for joining them that day. This was one of my fave Magical Dining meals I have had a in a while - The prime rib was so worth it. This is the only restaurant from the list that serves the Prime Rib. The Tap Room is known for delicious food. Its a golf course restaurant in Edgewater.

    Parmesan Encrusted Grouper

Orlando-we celebrated Father's Day early and this place has been on my list for quite some time. Located on a beautiful golf course, the ambience of this place is amazing. It kind of reminded me of old Hollywood dining. With dark decor and inviting comfy booths. Their menu is very diverse with something for everyone. We started off with the meatball appetizer and crabcakes. Both extremely delicious, but if I had to choose again, the crabcakes, hands-down, are probably the most delicious thing I have ever tasted!!!! We each had something different for our entrées so we could sample each other others! I had the Parmesan crusted grouper, and it was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. I love a very tiny crust with lots of flavor and that is exactly what it gives you. Next up was the grilled fillet tips with pasta. Again, seasoned just right and grilled to perfection. The table also had prime rib (no pic), and lamb lollipops. Everyone raved about how delicious their entrées were. Cooked perfectly to the correct sear. Baked potatoes, spinach risotto, asparagus & a delicious carrot cake topped off the evening! Our server was great and checked on us often. We will be back!!!

    Chicken Caprese Salad
    Bobbi G.

I attended the Taproom at Dubsdread for Happy Hour this evening and the vibe is perfection! Drink specials are $1-$2 off Beer/Wine/Cocktails and 2 for 1 calls! I had a double vodka soda and order a blackened chicken Caprese Salad for dinner. The chicken was extremely moist and served on a bed of romaine lettuce with tomato and fresh mozzarella, excellent portion size. The view from the restaurant is beautiful looking over the golf course. Staff were extremely attentive and food/drink were served quickly. I will continue to come back to this restaurant due to its great food and reliable service!

    Buffalo shrimp

Came for magical dining. Had all the appetizer options. All of them were delicious but if I were to come back, I'd get 2 of the shrimp and 1 of the meatball. The prime rib was tender and juicy at medium. The tuna mignons were buttery and fresh. We also tried all of the desserts and all were amazing except for some reason there wasn't any crust on the cheesecake. But it was still good.

Rainy Saturday night we had a reservation for Magical Dining. We were seated quickly and had appetizers of chips with blue cheese and buffalo shrimp. Mains were the prime rib that wasn't bad but mine was a little chewy. Our waiter was nice but stumbled a little bit with telling us the beers on tap. However the restaurant is located on a golf course and reminded me of an Irish tavern and had that charm.

The skimpy amount of seafood I got was not good, not cooked well, or served with undercooked potatoes. It shook me. Especially for a Winter Park restaurant. After my five year statute of limitations passed on repeating restaurants, I looked for the perfect opportunity to come back and try again. I found that opportunity recently with a few friends for brunch. Their brunch menu looked amazing, so we made our reservation and came on by. Ambiance is actually really nice. Right off one of the main WP roads, gigantic windows look out upon the street as passersby roam from shop to shop. Inside looks like an ocean-side sea shack, but an upper middle class one. Very nice little ocean-themed chotchkies adorn the walls, very cozy. Service was also great. Very nice server, very prompt food delivery, and they gave complimentary bread with a delightful butter. I always adore free bread. We started off sharing the Seafood Fritters (Four savory puppies, stuffed with lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams, grouper, onions, corn, poblano peppers, served with a zesty tartar sauce). If all five of those seafoods really were in there, there must have been only a few molecules each, but there was undoubtedly flavors from most of that list, and they were accentuated with the poblano. Topped with that zesty tartar, and this was an A+ app. I had the Lobster Benedict Royale (Chunks of Maine lobster on fried green tomatoes & house-baked buttermilk biscuits, topped with poached eggs & Hollandaise, sprinkled with paprika & chopped green onions). This was indulgent. Pure luxury. A warm biscuit with a good flakiness, that fried green tomato with the perfect thickness and thin, delicate coating, and those perfectly cooked jumbo chunks of lobster on top, all covered in an unctuous Hollandaise. Exactly as it sounds, as advertised, the perfect seafood brunch item. I also got to try the Shrimp Frittata (Wild-caught Florida shrimp, fresh eggs, spinach, Campari tomatoes, goat cheese, caramelized onions, baked in a cast-iron skillet, with wheat toast, butter & a little mixed green salad). This was a fun dish. Good shrimps, well-cooked eggs, a nice tang from that goat, and of course a nice crunchy toast to help make it even more interesting. I didn't like that random salad on the side. Just get bigger cast irons and make the frittata bigger. Overall, what a redemption. I'm not sure what was wrong back in the day, but this is a five star place now that I will happily return to when it's time.

I love a good Tom Kha soup, and this was easily the best I've ever had! It was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, served over a special dish with a flame underneath to keep it hot throughout the meal, such a nice touch! The other standout was the Pa Nang scallops. Whoever makes the sauce for this dish is a genius! I almost wanted to grab a straw and drink the sauce by itself. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and the flavors were incredible. Wow! They also have a great drink menu, but we took advantage of their happy hour specials and ordered a passion fruit mimosa and a coconut mojito.
