Went here on a Sunday for brunch with my friends and it was a great time. Our waitress was amazing and we had a nice view eating outside. I like that they also had a fly fan that they brought to the table once food came out to prevent fries from landing on our food/drinks. The cinnamon roll French toast was delicious and definitely a great shareable item. We had seven people, and it was enough to go around. I really enjoyed the tropical mimosa and would definitely get that again. At first I was hesitant hearing only 8 shrimp came with the fried shrimp which was eight, but since they were butterflied and a good size , it turned out to be very filling. The restaurant was full when we arrived for our Saturday 7:30pm reservation. The hostess greeted us and took our name; we waited less than five minutes to be seated. Our server, Cecilia, was pleasant but didn't ask any of the typical questions, like "Have you been here before?" or "How's your evening going?" We expected service to be a little slow given the occupancy, but we noticed bread was brought to a neighboring table that had arrived after us. After we asked for bread ourselves, it came out, but it was strange that we had to request it. We tried all three appetizers. The buffalo shrimp were just that -- nothing special. We didn't care for the bleu cheese chips; we're not fans of kettle chips or bleu cheese fondue. I was vegetarian for over 10 years, so I was disappointed by the texture of the cauliflower bites -- they were mushy. My partner wasn't a fan of the prime rib's lack of flavor, even with the au jus. The tequila citrus chicken was palatable but nothing we'd return for. We all noticed that every dish was only lukewarm. Saturday Evening was packed! I guess because Magical Dining started and the deals for dinners are an awesome deal especially for the Prime Rib. $40 gets you a Appetizer / Entree / Dessert. Opted for the Buffalo Shrimp / Prime rib with Lemon Spinach Risotto / Key lime pie. The Buffalo shrimp I requested sauce on the side. It came with 4 sticks of celery with side of Blue Cheese and Side of Buffalo Sauce. The shrimp were small shrimps excellent batter and tender shrimp. The buffalo sauce I didn't care for, Too much tanginess for me. Nothing to talk about with celery sticks but I think the blue cheese was house made. The fried wee not bad actually wished it was more medium shrimps. The wait for the entree was some time. The server was nice enough to ask if we were ready to have our entree. I guess the prime rib takes a while to prepare. I asked to sub the mashed potato to Lemon Spinach Risotto with extra spinach, I like the risotto here very rich creamy taste. The prime rib came in and it looked divine. It was a good size. I asked Medium well. Seasoned well and tender prime rib. This place is the only restaurant in Magical Dining that serves $40 prime rib. This is what they are known for as well in this restaurant. The key lime pie is always a treat here because not alot can pull off a perfect tangy sweet key lime pie. Silky creamy smooth pie with subtle tangy and sweet taste. It is served simple here. Slice of the pie, Sprinkles of grated lime peels and whipped cream. We were watching the FIFA game. Got d wine selection and a new bottle we haven't tried called Juggernut! Yup we had it. Good food- we tried the crab and cheese dip- which almost tasted like lobster bisque in a dip. Very tasty!! Accompanied by toast points. And we even had enough of the for the amount of dip. My family and I headed out to The Tap Room at Dubsdread to enjoy the Magical Dining Menu. The menu is amazing and delicious. I tried the shrimp for my appetizer. They were so good and came with celery and blue cheese dipping sauce. For my main dish I ordered the bone in pork chop with mashed potatoes. The seasoning was the perfect addition to this grilled protein. For the third course I ordered the key lime pie. This is my favorite dessert and they absolutely make a delicious pie. Our server today was Cecilia and she was friendly and kind. She did a wonderful job of serving our courses and refilling our drinks. The ambiance is that of a golf country club with a fabulous restaurant and great scenery. Today the dining room had golfers eating , families, birthday celebrations, and a wedding reception in the main ballroom area. It was all handled with ease and everyone was enjoying their evening. Great food and great experience! It was an easy process securing a reservation online. When dining at the Tap Room, make sure to drive around the building and park in the back. The parking in the front is used for events in the event space and there will be signage around back for the Tap Room. We were seated right away. The restaurant is very cute with a large bar area, lots of seating, and even plenty of outdoor seating. Our service was impeccable. We needed for nothing. I even appreciate when the server offers to box leftovers up. The food was outstanding. We started with a fresh tomato basil flatbread with the added meatball. There was lots of meat and the flatbread was huge! Perfect for sharing. For main entrees, we got the tequila citrus chicken and the Tap Room classic burger with fries. The chicken was plentiful and super juicy. I loved the flavors. The burger got rave reviews and was filling. I was recommended to get the key lime pie martini and it was phenomenal. It's always such a treat to come here. Today we sat on the patio and the afternoon Florida weather was perfect. We started with the deviled eggs with applewood bacon which were a delicious start. They are classic and traditional but with a little Tabasco and a sprinkle of salt, they were delightful. For our entree, we shared the college park burger. The burger is huge and we've learned to share so we can finish the meal with a slice of key lime pie which is a must every time we come. I attended the Taproom at Dubsdread for Happy Hour this evening and the vibe is perfection! Drink specials are $1-$2 off Beer/Wine/Cocktails and 2 for 1 calls! I had a double vodka soda and order a blackened chicken Caprese Salad for dinner. The chicken was extremely moist and served on a bed of romaine lettuce with tomato and fresh mozzarella, excellent portion size. The view from the restaurant is beautiful looking over the golf course. Staff were extremely attentive and food/drink were served quickly. We visited The Taproom for Magical Dining this weekend. I've been to Dubsdread for events but never for a regular meal so I was excited to check it out. We were able to easily make a reservation with only a day or two notice and when we arrived we were seated within a couple minutes. It was very busy with a large table that was pretty loud so the atmosphere wasn't the best. Once the large party left the noise level went down a bit but it was still fairly loud inside. Our server Bethann was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive and very thorough. They have happy hour til 7 and luckily we were there in time to catch some specials. We each ordered a cocktail, I got the elderflower spritz and my SO got the coconut margarita. Both drinks were delightful! We both ordered from the Magical Dining menu and got the buffalo shrimp and bleu chips for appetizers. Our apps came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was and the portions were generous. We shared the apps and were happy with the taste of both. For entrees we both got the 12oz Prime Rib. The other options were a tuna steak and a chicken dish. The chicken dish sounded good but I didn't want chicken thighs so I opted for the prime rib which came with mashed potatoes. The prime rib was very good, it came with au jus and horseradish. We ate one of our desserts there (brownie sundae) that was fine. It wasn't anything special, just your basic brownie sundae, and brought home the Key Lime pie. Overall we had a great dinner! I had a Reuben sandwich that is better than any I've had here in the Orlando area. They were a bit skimpy on the sauerkraut but overall it was still an 8/10. Came for lunch to celebrate a few birthdays. The staff was so sweet to all sign a card on the table. We had a group of six and sat outside which in April is perfect weather with a nice breeze and not too hot out. The menu has a pretty good selection, but they always have a few lunch specials. I haven't found anything I didn't like though it is on the pricier side. Most of our group went with the Philly cheese steak and it was soooo good and so much, I took half home. It kind of reminded me of old Hollywood dining. With dark decor and inviting comfy booths. Their menu is very diverse with something for everyone. We started off with the meatball appetizer and crabcakes. Both extremely delicious, but if I had to choose again, the crabcakes, hands-down, are probably the most delicious thing I have ever tasted!!!! We each had something different for our entrées so we could sample each other others! I had the Parmesan crusted grouper, and it was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. I love a very tiny crust with lots of flavor and that is exactly what it gives you. Next up was the grilled fillet tips with pasta. Again, seasoned just right and grilled to perfection. The table also had prime rib (no pic), and lamb lollipops. Everyone raved about how delicious their entrées were. Cooked perfectly to the correct sear. Local favorite! My fiance loves their newly opened range, so we took advantage of it and decided to grab something to eat as well The service was excellent, even though the place gets pretty packed. We ordered the crab cakes and they were absolutely delicious and juicy. My fiance had the College Park burger, which I did not try, but he said it was cooked to the perfect temperature and very flavorful. The Taproom at Dubsdread was a hidden gem in Orlando for me. What a wonderful place to grab lunch or dinner. It has a warm and cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like you are having lunch in a lodge. It is located at the historic Dubsdread golf course. It has indoor and outdoor seating with a beautiful golf course view. I came here for a team holiday lunch, and we had a great experience. We were a big group, so we made a reservation in advance, and rightly so because it was packed with other holiday and graduation celebrations. We started off with the tap room bleu cheese chips and the prime steak bites as appetizers. For entrees we got the quinoa bowl, buffalo chicken sandwich, blackened salmon BLT, and hand-battered shrimp. Everything was delicious, and the portions were big. It was a busy day but our server took good care of us. I need to come back and check out their dinner menu and try some cocktails. Note: keep in mind that parking can be tricky. The interior, while traditional, could use a little modernization but the look of the Tap Room suits the classic golfer aesthetic. This week I had the half open face sandwich with a side Caesar salad. The server was fantastic with checking on us and making sure we had everything. This review is based on a combination of my/our last 2 visits. This was the 2nd time we invited family members to join us based on prior visits. I'm sad to say they were underwhelmed. My daughter-in-law ordered the French onion soup, based on the claim of it being the "best in town." She said it had very little flavor and was thin in texture. I tried the prime rib for the 2nd time, and for the 2nd time it was cooked beyond medium rare. It was also not seasoned. We have enjoyed several meals at The Tap Room, and when we've had Holly as our server, the service has been excellent. Other servers have been good, but Holly stands out. We will return and will order items we know from experience are good, but we won't invite additional guests until we're confident in consistently good food. read more

Had a great experience at the Tap Room! We used Dubsdread Events for our wedding last year, and they sent us a $75 gift card to use for the Tap Room. Service was very friendly and efficient! The dining room was lively and very nicely themed. You had great views of the golf course from the tables (there is a covered patio also!) The food was absolutely incredible. I had the blackened mahi with broccolini and mashed and it was outstanding. My husband got the College Park Burger and truffle fries and he loved it. To share, we started with the Hot Crab and Cheese Dip and it was very tasty with good amounts of crab. Overall, great experience. If I had no choice but to eat there because of a golf game I would eat there again. Otherwise I would not intentionally choose this tavern over others. Why not? Our experience wasn't favorable but it wasn't horrible. Seemed like we were seated in between sections or shifts because there was a delay in being greeted by our actual server. Although polite, It appeared that she was more concerned with being coy and saying nice things while training her shadow because they forgot about the basics! This restaurant has my favorite Cobb salad of anywhere around. It comes packed full of ingredients and the homemade honey mustard dressing is absolutely delicious! Pro tip: if you love both the sweet potato fries and regular fries, you can do half and half as your side to any of the sandwiches. And the sweet potato fries are the bomb. Beware if coming with your furry friend. The dog friendly part of this is the "courtyard" out back. The location is not an issue but unless it changes during different times of the year there were only about three tables in the area when I was here. (Meaning, your wait, even if you reserved an "outside" table, can be much longer than expected) Otherwise, the food and service were great. Going on a Friday I was able to have that day's special of the Tap Room Lobster Roll - Brown Butter, Lemon Spinach Risotto. Not the best Lobster Roll in my life as you are really not going to beat some New England areas for that, however, it was enjoyable! The "TEXAS" TURKEY CHILI - no beans, diced bermuda onion, shredded cheddar topping, I had beforehand, was very tasty. It seems like you can skip valet parking by going into the lot right at the corner, but I am not 100% sure of that.
