Celebrated both of our birthdays at The Chapman and had such a great experience! We had the shrimp cocktail, chicken meatballs, tableside avocado toast and of course Bloody Marys. The shrimp were HUGE and somehow still perfectly tender, which was impressive for shrimp that size. Everything was delicious, beautifully crafted and you can tell a lot of thought goes into each dish. The chicken meatballs were another favorite. The tableside avocado toast was such a fun touch and Eric did a great job putting it together right at the table. They started us off with a complimentary pour of champagne for our birthdays and surprised us with macarons at the end. Such a nice way to make the celebration feel special. Our server Lillian was kind, attentive and took great care of us. Really enjoyed the food, cocktails, atmosphere and all the little details. We booked a reservation here for my sisters 23rd birthday and we were blown away. Our server Derik, was top notch. He went above and beyond to make my sister feel celebrated. He educated us well on the menu, the restaurant's history and gave great recommendations. He noticed we were trying to take family pics at the table and quickly offered to help. Taking photos for us and even grabbing the restaurants polaroid camera so we could have a keepsake! The food was incredible, we loved every dish we had! The key lime pie was a table favorite!!! The ONLY issue we had was the bar that we were seated right next to was very loud and made conversations difficult to hear. We came in for lunch to celebrate our Director of Operations & Finance's 10th anniversary with our firm and we had a fantastic experience. The service is truly exceptional. We were incredibly grateful that they allowed us to bring in a cake and served it for us at the end of the meal with fresh plates and chilled forks. We had two waitresses attend us and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They refolded napkins, cleared plates, swept up crumbs, and kept water glasses filled for our large group. It was very impressive. The food was spectacular. They sent about an amuse bouche complimentary of the chef, which was very nice. For appetizers, we enjoyed the focaccia bread, arancini, crab cake, and bruschetta. Everything was fabulous. The bread was fresh, the bruschetta was super flavorful, the crab was perfect, and the arancini were so hot and tasty. For my entree, I got the filet mignon wedge salad. The presentation was stunning. The steak was perfectly cooked. They checked to make sure I was happy with it. The fresh tomatoes, avocado, and lettuce were fantastic. I loved the swicy bacon. I'd give this review 10 stars if possible. Maddie was our server and she was so delightful and went the extra mile!!!!! We dined in last night for my friend's 27th birthday and we were seated on the patio closest to the sidewalk. It started to rain at one point and the manager came over to us to let us know that if the rain picked up or started blowing in towards our table, they had a table available for us inside. The rain ended up stopping, and we were safe to stay outside! We started off with the focaccia and it was nothing like I've ever tasted before. There was this purple Tasman sea salt on top and it was paired with an orange butter. It was hands-down, the best focaccia roll. I've ever put into my mouth. I almost ordered another, but I wanted to save room for dinner. My friend and I split the lobster flatbread and the flavors of the red peppers with the lobster and the special sour cream sauce was delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the Chapman meatballs. They were very flavorful, and it sat on a bed of lentils and a green salsa Verde, which I believe had avocado in it. I need the recipe to these meatballs! They were delicious! I took a few bites of the ahi tuna stack, as well as a few bites of the Involtini. The tuna had a slight spicy kick to it, but was very fresh and flavorful. The Involtini was AMAZING. I almost wish I ordered this as my entree. It had this citrus yogurt that paired really well with the egg eggplant and zucchini and curry. I will definitely be ordering this dish the next time I dine in here! Once it was time for dessert, Maddie informed us that she would be giving us a no bake cheesecake to try. We had also brought in a Bundt cake for my friend's birthday and Maddie provided us with small plates and a knife to cut the cake. The no bake cheesecake was delicious, however I forgot to snag a photo! The restaurant gave my friends happy birthday cards, with personally signed messages from the entire staff. I've never seen anything like it before. This was very special and intimate. Throughout the night, Maddie was very attentive, asking us how everything was tasting, consistently clearing our plates, and filling our waters. Towards the end of the evening, she found out that it was most of our first times there, and she sent us all home with complementary macaroons. I did not get to eat here but, the drinks were good! Service was good but, a very opinionated bar tender ...lol...but, we had fun with it. I felt the blackberry sour drink was tasty! I feel it should have omitted the large cube, buffalo trace or not. I think the glass is fine or a coupe would serve this egg white drink better. Good wine selections. This place is great! It's definitely popular on the weekend so try to get a reservation if you can. Our server was fast and had tons of recommendations for each section of the menu. We got a dirty martini and negroni to start. Awesome presentation and they came out pretty quickly. We were also given a free glass of prosecco, which was an excellent touch. For appetizers we ordered the Crispy Bang Bang Lion's Mane, which had a great texture and was extra crispy, and the Citrus Spiced Carrots. This sat in a bed of ricotta cheese and hot honey. The perfect balance of sweet and salty. I'd order this 10 times over again. For our mains we got the Fresh Grilled Fish of the day, which was a snapper with mashed sweet potato and broccolini and a pan to pour a lemon sauce over top. This was a perfect portion, the fish was grilled perfectly, and I could have eaten an entire bowl of their sweet potatoes. Only thing I feel like is they should offer some kind of bread like other steakhouses but we got the loins mane mushrooms was so good..I would go back just for that..I got a steak. So good I had to go twice! Had dinner here 2 weeks in a row because I had to come back to try the thins I couldn't the first time. Ok starting from the top, absolutely the best espresso martini in Orlando! Secondly the little details like a purse hanger is just top tier hospitality. Third the food is absolutely to die for. We started with the Martini Tree Affair. It's a total of 6 drinks, up to 2 flavors. We picked the Espresso Martini and Pretty in Pink flavors. Wow! The perfect cocktails for brunch. Nice and smooth, not too sweet. Our waitress, Maya, was absolutely amazing. From her recommendations to her remembering all of our names. Very attentive and polite our whole visit. So we decided to try this place out for my besties birthday dinner and it happened to be Magical Dining so we tried and and it did not disappoint. We started with the crab cake which was not on the Magical dining options but so worth it since it is filled with crab and no filler and super tasty. So let's talk about the magical dining options I had the lobster flat bread which was amazing!!! My bestie had the cob salad which was good but not as good as the my app. Next let's talk about entrees so I got talked into the lamb chops from our server and they were good- cooked perfectly and came with veggies and a potato pancake which was just ok. My bestie had the salmon which was soooo good it was melt in your mouth cooked to perfection! I've been waiting to try this place for a while and I was more than impressed. Let's talk about the reason we're all here--the food. Exceptional. My party and I had a variety of appetizers and main courses and everyone more than enjoyed themselves. I had the bang bang mushrooms, the lobster flatbread and the ahi tuna for an appetizer--all of which I recommend. The ribeye was moist and flavorful, and the sides were all delicious. Portions can be seen as on the smaller side but I think they're just enough. With that being said, maybe don't share fries. My party enjoyed themselves drinks as well. The seemed to have a wide selection on wines as well as a whole section dedicated to different old fashions. The other mixed drinks were commented to be good as well. The service was also fantastic. Our servers were very attentive, even for a big party of ~20 on a weeknight. I can't wait to recommend this place to others and take some friends again. read more

If I could give this review more than 5 stars, I would. I was celebrating my 27th birthday with my closest friends and I can honestly say The Chapman was the best dining experience I have ever had. As soon as I arrived, the staff acknowledged it was my birthday and the manager came over to grab my cake and put it in the fridge and we were immediately sat. I started out with a Cloudstar martini which was incredible and I ordered the famous focaccia rolls for the table. They are so flavorful with the Tasmanian sea salt and they are so doughy and soft. Truly unlike any bread service I have ever had. For my entree, I ordered the Bronzed Florida Grouper with the saffron risotto but I also had a few bites of the Chapman Meatballs and Salmon. Everything I tried was absolutely incredible. The menu is packed with flavor and has something for everyone, which I really can appreciate. For dessert, even though I had brought in a cake for the table, our server Maddie, informed me that she will be bringing out a no bake cheesecake. The cheesecake was fantastic and I loved the berry jam on the side. Maddie brought out side plates and a knife for us to cut the cake and even assembled my candles and lit them. We were dining outside, closest to the patio, and at one point the rain started to pick up. The manager immediately came over and said that they had a table inside available if we wanted to move inside. Since we all were staying dry we opted to stay outside and a few moments later the rain stopped. As someone who has worked in the service industry the pre-planning of this moment was incredible. Throughout the entire evening, Maddie was consistently clearing plates, filling water, and checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Maddie was attentive and such a delight. The restaurant even gave me a happy birthday card from the whole team with handwritten signatures and well wishes. This was incredibly special and such an intimate gesture that really goes the extra mile. The service that we received this night was exemplary and I truly owe it all to our server, Maddie. This delicious dish is highly recommended. It's local lion's mane mushrooms, ssamjang chili aioli, toasted sesame, and snipped chives. I'm so glad that this was my introduction to Lion's Mane mushrooms! For my entree, I selected the Pork Tenderloin & Polenta.......ingredients: Amarena Cheshire Farms pork, Marsh Hen Mill polenta, seared oyster mushroom, with an amarena cherry wine reduction. Personally, I'm a big fan of Marsh Hen Mill and often order their products online. Ultimately, I would have preferred more seasoning on the pork, but the cherry wine reduction was so delicious! I loved that! And finally, for dessert, I had the Blueberry Mango Mai Chai Crisp. This was a yummy cobbler style dessert with vanilla bean ice cream and a toasted pecan crust! Magical dining is finally here! Me and my friend decided to try out the Chapman. The inside of the restaurant is very beautiful. The service here was really good. We started with the crispy bang bang lions mane, I was surprised this was really really good! I loved the sauce. The Goat Cheese Raviolo was delicious as well but very one note. Me and my friend both got the steak. This was our least favorite part of the meal surprisingly. The steak was OK. I've had better at different Steakhouses. The desserts here though were amazing. We really enjoyed the butterscotch crème brûlée however we both preferred the sky high citrus meringue pie. They give such a large slice! It was so airy and perfectly citrusy. First time here, I was waiting for the Magical dining but ironically ended up not ordering from that menu. first impression was when I made the reservations, they only had outdoor seating available. I called the day of to request indoors, the Hostess said they would do their best to accommodate. When we got there, they did indeed move us indoors:) it was all up from there. I ordered: Cocktail: Summertime sour, I won't put the ingredients here, but it was delicious, not too sweet and the right amount of sour. Citrus seared Shrimp tomato Bucatini: Handmade Pasta, similar to spaghetti but more on the dense side. The Red Pasta sauce had a hint of sweet; the Shrimp was smaller than I'd hoped but they were delicious. I also tried my friend's Pork, it was good, but, I wouldn't order that dish. Winter Park-I've had this little gem on my go to list for quite some time. It was a rainy weekday afternoon and we decided to stop in for a late lunch. What an awesome vibe in this very upscale restaurant. Service was on point! We decided to eat in the bar, because once I got a look at that big, gorgeous fireplace, I just could not resist!! Their drink menu made it difficult to decide. There were several drinks that I would've liked to have tried. We decided on "one in a melon" and a sorrel martini. both were fantastic. We both ordered the same entrée because it just sounded amazing!! The Chapman Avocado Tuna Bowl. Really yummy with its meld of very distinct flavors. Raspberry poke mixed with ancient grains and pickled onions??? YESSSSS!! The fried plantains were not edible. They were very rubbery and would break a tooth! Our waitress brought us out some fresh plantains, and they were not much better. A little bit easier to chew, but I would not recommend eating those. We ended our lunch with an amazing citrus meringue pie, with a delicious dollop of butterscotch syrup! My oh my was that wonderful! One thing I will mention, the entire hallway heading towards the restrooms, smelled like an open sewer pipe. Definitely glad we did not eat in the restaurant area, but decided to eat in the bar. They were well executed and the flavors were delicious. The meat was so incredibly tender that I wonder if they got massages their last day. Dessert Sky High Citrus Meringue Pie gingersnap crust, orange zested meringue Blueberry Mango Mai Chai Crisp vanilla bean ice cream, toasted pecan crust (no photo) Golden Butterscotch Creme Brûlée with fresh Berries All the desserts were incredibly delicious, but the meringue really took the prize here and was a MASSIVE portion. I had the crème brûlée, and it was very unique and full of butterscotch flavor, which I very much enjoyed. Servers / Service: The service there is quite good and Emilie was fantastic, but I will say that the bar was incredibly slow. They had one bartender for the entire place and he was not very quick at making drinks or very observant of who needed a drinks. He seemed to be way over his head. What they can do better: this was quite a wonderful experience, and I can't think of any way that they could possibly improve it except for making sure all the dishes are the correct temperature and bartending training. Tips: it's absolutely freezing in there so I would highly recommend a sweater or blazer. You don't really know where you're going to sit because you could be sitting in the bar area or the main dining room. We had a round semicircle table, which was very nice because we could share everything and have great conversation. It did get loud where we were sitting, but since we had the semi circle table, we were fine. Came here for brunch and enjoyed the vibe. The DJ added an upbeat energy without it being too loud--just the right mix of music to keep the mood lively. The cocktails were solid, and the food really impressed. The crab cake was a standout--packed with crab, not filler. I also had the steak, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. I just went to The Chapman for brunch, and I had the best time! First of all, they have espresso martini trees with 6 martinis for $75, which was such a fun way to share some drinks for brunch! I got the Farmer's Chicken Salad, which had a great assortment of fresh veggies and feta. The chicken portion was huge, but I would have preferred it if it were blackened. I was obsessed with the crème brûlée french toast and would highly recommend ordering this as a dessert to split! It was so gooey and delicious. The inside of The Chapman is open and airy with some subtle tropical vibes, and it's located in the perfect spot on Park Ave to go do some shopping and walking after. The vibe of this place was out of this world. Nice music, pretty decor, comfortable seating whether at the bar / lounge type of area or for dinner. Didn't get to eat here but the drinks were delicious and creative! The service was top notch for sure. I will be returning for their brunch and expresso martini tree. read more

We went to the Chapman for the 3rd time this past weekend for Valentine's day. Always a good experience, good vibe, good service, and great food. Some of the drinks weren't our favorite, and they ran out of the crème brûlée when we already ordered the prix fixe, that was disappointing. Scallops and steak were great, LOVED the truffle mashed potatoes with the steak. We will return. read more

My overall weekend lunch experience here was very nice. The environment and decor of the space was inviting but still modern and tastefully done. The food and drinks here are really good! As an espresso martini connoisseur, this place has one of the best (and strongest) in the area! So big kudos to that. I would definitely come back to try other dishes. read more
