Great service! Our waitress, Maddie, made the entire experience incredible and was extremely helpful and over accommodating. She made it her goal to make sure it was a special experience for our birthday girl. The involtini was the star meal. Extremely flavorful and filling even for being a vegetarian based meal.

We came in for lunch to celebrate our Director of Operations & Finance's 10th anniversary with our firm and we had a fantastic experience. The service is truly exceptional. We were incredibly grateful that they allowed us to bring in a cake and served it for us at the end of the meal with fresh plates and chilled forks. We had two waitresses attend us and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They refolded napkins, cleared plates, swept up crumbs, and kept water glasses filled for our large group. It was very impressive. The food was spectacular. They sent about an amuse bouche complimentary of the chef, which was very nice. For appetizers, we enjoyed the focaccia bread, arancini, crab cake, and bruschetta. Everything was fabulous. The bread was fresh, the bruschetta was super flavorful, the crab was perfect, and the arancini were so hot and tasty. For my entree, I got the filet mignon wedge salad. The presentation was stunning. The steak was perfectly cooked. They checked to make sure I was happy with it. The fresh tomatoes, avocado, and lettuce were fantastic. I loved the swicy bacon. Everyone else was very happy with their meals. This experience was stunning from start to finish. I cannot recommend The Chapman enough for celebrating.

I'd give this review 10 stars if possible. Maddie was our server and she was so delightful and went the extra mile!!!!! We dined in last night for my friend's 27th birthday and we were seated on the patio closest to the sidewalk. It started to rain at one point and the manager came over to us to let us know that if the rain picked up or started blowing in towards our table, they had a table available for us inside. The rain ended up stopping, and we were safe to stay outside! We started off with the focaccia and it was nothing like I've ever tasted before. There was this purple Tasman sea salt on top and it was paired with an orange butter. It was hands-down, the best focaccia roll. I've ever put into my mouth. I almost ordered another, but I wanted to save room for dinner. My friend and I split the lobster flatbread and the flavors of the red peppers with the lobster and the special sour cream sauce was delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the Chapman meatballs. They were very flavorful, and it sat on a bed of lentils and a green salsa Verde, which I believe had avocado in it. I need the recipe to these meatballs! They were delicious! I took a few bites of the ahi tuna stack, as well as a few bites of the Involtini. The tuna had a slight spicy kick to it, but was very fresh and flavorful. The Involtini was AMAZING. I almost wish I ordered this as my entree. It had this citrus yogurt that paired really well with the egg eggplant and zucchini and curry. I will definitely be ordering this dish the next time I dine in here! Once it was time for dessert, Maddie informed us that she would be giving us a no bake cheesecake to try. We had also brought in a Bundt cake for my friend's birthday and Maddie provided us with small plates and a knife to cut the cake. The no bake cheesecake was delicious, however I forgot to snag a photo! The restaurant gave my friends happy birthday cards, with personally signed messages from the entire staff. I've never seen anything like it before. This was very special and intimate. Throughout the night, Maddie was very attentive, asking us how everything was tasting, consistently clearing our plates, and filling our waters. Towards the end of the evening, she found out that it was most of our first times there, and she sent us all home with complementary macaroons. I haven't had a dining experience this great in a really long time, so Maddie really made my friend's birthday extra special. Give Maddie her flowers because she deserves it!!!! I will gladly be coming back to The Chapman in the future for a date night, and I hope to have Maddie as my server again!!!

I did not get to eat here but, the drinks were good! Service was good but, a very opinionated bar tender ...lol...but, we had fun with it. I felt the blackberry sour drink was tasty! I feel it should have omitted the large cube, buffalo trace or not. I think the glass is fine or a coupe would serve this egg white drink better. Good wine selections. The super Tuscan did taste a bit bitter though, which makes me think the bottle was open for a while. Good ambiance. I'll check it out again.

This place is great! It's definitely popular on the weekend so try to get a reservation if you can. Our server was fast and had tons of recommendations for each section of the menu. We got a dirty martini and negroni to start. Awesome presentation and they came out pretty quickly. We were also given a free glass of prosecco, which was an excellent touch. For appetizers we ordered the Crispy Bang Bang Lion's Mane, which had a great texture and was extra crispy, and the Citrus Spiced Carrots. This sat in a bed of ricotta cheese and hot honey. The perfect balance of sweet and salty. I'd order this 10 times over again. For our mains we got the Fresh Grilled Fish of the day, which was a snapper with mashed sweet potato and broccolini and a pan to pour a lemon sauce over top. This was a perfect portion, the fish was grilled perfectly, and I could have eaten an entire bowl of their sweet potatoes. My husband got the Bronzed Florida Grouper, which had a risotto with shrimp in it. Both of these dishes were INCREDIBLE. To finish, we got the Sky High Citrus Meringue Pie. This kind of played on a key lime pie. It was rich, the portion was HUGE, and a great way to finish our meal. Overall, great food, great vibes, and great service.

What an amazing time! We celebrated a birthday and Derik went way beyond to make my daughter feel special. They seated us next to the bar which was a bit loud but we did enjoy the horseshoe booth, great for photos. This restaurant has excellent service and spectacular food. They even made the basic chicken plate remarkable which is hard to do. We all enjoyed our dishes and I highly recommend to try this out for any special occasion.

I dined at The Chapman for lunch today and had an exceptional experience. The food was very tasty and full of flavor across the board, with every dish thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. You can tell there's a real commitment to quality ingredients and execution in every bite. Our server also explained that the restaurant's flavors play into the local citrus orchards. The whole restaurant pays homage to Winter Park's history and traditions. From the design to the menu, there's a clear and intentional connection to the area's heritage, creating an experience that feels both elevated and rooted in the community. The floor of the restaurant is the original terrazzo and the tweed in the booths represents the tweed jackets the founders of Winter Park would have worn. What truly set this experience apart was our server, Derik. He delivered a level of hospitality that was simply unparalleled. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our experience perfect. He knew all of our names, gave great menu recommendations, and was a joy to interact with. Derik delivered, without question, the best service I've experienced at any restaurant.

Second review, now after trying a different cocktail, an appetizer and an entree (coincidentally, both vegetarian). - Coco dancer: jalapeño infused tequila, coconut milk, elderflower, lime. A 3 step experience: first I tasted coconut with elderflower; then the punch of lime and tequila; then, the lingering spiciness of the jalapeño. 10/10. - Bang Bang Lion's Maine: an incredible vegetarian take of bang bang chicken. Extremely well executed. The Lion's Maine tasted just like and had the texture of chicken. - Involtini: I asked about the Portobello mushroom burger and the server recommended this one instead. So glad I followed her advice. The long ingredient list speaks for itself: eggplant, zucchini, raisins, pomegranate, crispy garbanzo, basmati rice, coconut curry, yogurt, pistachios, mint, house spices. I think I also saw and tasted some fine carrots slices in it. It was extremely flavorful and fun to eat. Who would have thought that an Indian Mediterranean vegetarian dish could deliver that much? The Chapman keeps delivering in all 3 Yelp elements (food, service and ambiance) and is my current favorite restaurant in WP.

My experience at the Chapman was fairly good. I have no complaints. Only thing I feel like is they should offer some kind of bread like other steakhouses but we got the loins mane mushrooms was so good..I would go back just for that..I got a steak. It was really good. Really flavorful. I had no complaints! My drink was good as well it was kind of jalapeño infused tequila in which I was very surprised how good it was! The service was really good. She was as attentive as she could be! The ambience wasn't bad either sat outside because it was a really nice night..people watch a little bit overall I got it 9/10

We enjoyed every bit of the experience. We had a quiet private table and great service. We ordered a few favorites: crab cake...tons of lump crab meat perfectly balanced with corn and a little spice - the wedge salad with the unique blue cheese vinaigrette dressing - which keeps its lighter then a dairy based dressing - it's delicious and tangy - always fresh. We order the tuna two ways and the citrus shrimp. The flavors were delicious while unusual - which we love because it's not the same old flavors. We recommend The Chapman! The bar is great for a hang out too - exceptional craft drinks and service. (Apricot Old Fashioned is now my husband's favorite - warning...it's deliciously strong!)

Another great dining experience at The Chapman. This time, we hosted a special visitor from Dallas, TX. Our ladies had the mocktail and loved it. We shared some appetizers and a bottle Trimbac Riesling, pairing with some seafood and chicken entrees. Both today's specials - grouper and scallops were excellent. The chicken, salmon and shrimp pasta were also tasty. Our server was very attentive. However, he didn't let us taste the wine before pouring, perhaps because he thought the bottle didn't have the cork. Sorry, as a former sommelier, I couldn't help. We wanted to try the new Glass Knife on Park Ave, so we skipped desserts.

It's our first visit for Brunch. I recommend making a reservation. I really enjoyed the over all experience. There is a nearby parking garage. No parking available in front of the restaurant. We started with the Martini Tree Affair. It's a total of 6 drinks, up to 2 flavors. We picked the Espresso Martini and Pretty in Pink flavors. Wow! The perfect cocktails for brunch. Nice and smooth, not too sweet. Our waitress, Maya, was absolutely amazing. From her recommendations to her remembering all of our names. Very attentive and polite our whole visit. We wanted to try so many dishes and decided to share the weekend waffle, French Toast and the Seared Arctic Salmon Caesar. Pleasantly surprised the French Toast was not overwhelming sweet. It was just perfect. I loved the decor and cool vibe. The clean space was very welcoming. I would really like to come back for dinner.

I didn't buy any other food or drinks over there, but I did notice that the prices were quite expensive for the portions. One of the guest mentioned that her glass of club soda was 8 dollars! Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. The band was great, and I love that Jazz Tastings keeps a calendar of upcoming performers and events, so you can plan your visit around who you'd like to see. A couple of things to know before going: weekends can get busy, so reservations are highly recommended unless you're able to arrive really early. They also charge automatic gratuity on weekends, along with an additional service fee on Fridays and Saturdays, so just keep that in mind when planning your visit. Overall, Jazz Tastings is a great choice for a date night or a relaxed night out with friends, especially if you want to hear some talented local artists while enjoying good food and drinks. I'll definitely continue coming back!

HOW HAVE I NOT REVIEWED THE GUESTHOUSE YET?????…read more Best Tom Collins Cocktail I've ever had! I've celebrated my birthday here, have met up with friends here and more gone when they had a food collab. This place is awesome. They get very busy but the ambiance is fun. Last year, we got a group together to celebrate "The Eve Before the Eve" (12/23) and we had such a blast! Tasty cocktails, chill atmosphere. They do not serve food at this establishment but you can order food or bring food in. It kind of works out because there is so much delicious food on the strip! If you want a good craft cocktail, access to delicious eats nearby or a place to meet up with some friends for a birthday or just because, this is a good place to start! And please, for the love of god try the Tom Collins if that's your kind of drink...it's so good!

I sat at a table with one of my girl friends. we had to switch tables twice because they were so wobbly. The third one was still wobbly, but at least it had a dirty rag someone shoved under it. We went up to the bar to order real quick, and to ask the bar tender about the drinks on the happy hour menu. There weren't that many people at the bar and multiple bar tenders, but it took us so long to flag someone down. One guy at the end of the night even said someone would be with us, then he went and cleared our table even though we were going right back to it. The bar tender we ended up getting didn't speak a single word to us and he disappeared midway through our short stay. We ordered our drinks and after so long of not seeing them we decided to look for them. Turns out they were left with a group of guys at the bar. My friend was so uncomfortable because she's had bad experiences with her drinks being left unattended. We still ended up drinking them after the guys eventually left the bar. They were very bland, weak, and sweet. For $10 happy hour getting a sus drink that tasted like melted ice- big nope. I will never be going back.
