I love This carnicería, we buy out meat for our "carne asadas" and love the fact that they sell groceries so we can pick up a little bit of everything. They also have a restaurant, so we've also had food they sell ready to eat, the menudo on the weekends is the best! I I love this store. I love buying my meat and it's very good, but the only thing is the cashiers. They are very rude. I feel that every time I go there they always make fun of people because of the way they dress or the way they look, they even whisper to each other that it's not right, that's unprofessional, especially those two ladies who are always at the cashier with their big eyelashes. We go here a couple times a month for lunch which is also hot, fresh and so good, and I shop here for extra stuff about once a week. Food and food service is beyond excellent! This place is so much better than La Michoacana. First of all, it's clean, really clean. Second of all, everything is fresh. This goes for the bakery, the butcher, and the taqueria. Tonight I feasted like a king. The tacos were awesome and filled to the brim. I got the taco plate because it's only a few cents more than 4 tacos by themselves but you get rice and beans. I tried the El pastor, barbacoa, carnitas, and the fajita. They all had really good flavor with their own unique tastes. I had a gordita as well but I'd stick with tacos next time. I didn't see the elote until after I ordered. I can't wait to try that. I'll usually drive all the way to fuel city in Dallas for elote. read more

The service was really bad. I walked in waited for a while at the food. Waited for someone to come up. They all saw me and they all just waited it out like hoping I would leave. The guy came up like he was doing me a favor. Well I ordered my food. And then he just told someone else. Who eventually started to make the Tacos. We tried all the meats. Beans and rice. We won't be going back. Service was bad. I hoped the food would make up for it. It didn't And then when I was paying I asked for salsa. He gave me one tiny thing for all the Tacos we got. I asked for more and I got a sigh and 2 more. I finished paying took it and left to try the food at home. It was a bad experience all around. I'd rather go to Tacos y pupusas. read more

Truly authentic Mexican bakery. The best pan dulce hands down! Attractive produce and dry goods section. Very clean and well organized. Quality meats and good selection of cheese. Very reasonable prices and friendly service. Lots of authentic candies and treats. Only complaint is that we have to face heavy traffic to get there from McKinney. I live in the area and buy their chicken and steak fajita meat often It's fantastic! There is a language barrier but that's ok. I realize this and I do my best to communicate. I speak minimal Spanish. To give bad reviews because of this is unfair!! I will continue to go and try new things! Their food is very authentic and the prices are fair to the customer. What a great addition to Princeton!! Fresh produce, great fresh tortillas - corn and flour! Chips are awesome, and they have fresh made sauces you can purchase and take home. Meat counter is fantastic, especially for fajitas and such. It's a great stop for breakfast tacos, plan to try lunch there soon as well!! Not your typical American grocery store, so if you're going in looking for three types of white bread or a variety of brands of something, this isn't the place. This is an authentic Mexican grocery, bakery, meat market and little cafeteria. Love it!!! read more
