I went in December 2025 to start the process of a crown, first off Dr. Hoda is so sweet, along with her staff. She was very detailed and explained what the process was and I fully understood the billing. Absolutely a great visit. I returned on January 23, 2026 for part 2 for my first crown and to get started on another crown, again, excellent service and the temporary crowns were absolutely beautiful. Waaaay to expensive! I went in for a consolation and ended up with my teeth cleaned and a $6,000 dental plan mainly not covered by insurance. I see a dentist 2 times a year and recently got out of braces! It's no way I need 6,000 worth of work. My teeth are perfectly straight. I only consulted with them about a wisdom tooth extraction and a possible implant from a missing tooth. The totally for that was less than $2,000. All the other charges were up charged and unnecessary! Will not be going back. read more

I had a chipped FRONT tooth and they made an emergency appointment and got me in the next day. They have the latest technology and the patient forms were sent the day before and were very easy to complete. I am a VERY anxious dental patient and this is also in the midst of COVID pandemic! They were understanding and very caring. Dr. Doan was very kind and caring. The dental assistant (SO SORRY I have forgotten the name) was very kind and helpful. Our family loves Fusion Dental. We have been going here for a little over 2 years and each time we go we are impressed with the staff and cleanliness of the the office. The office is very bright and welcoming. One of our favorite features are the tv's that are above your head while you are getting your teeth cleaned; this helps with keeping my son sitting while he is getting his teeth done. I think that the dr office is extremely kid friendly. When we had our teeth cleaned last time there wasn't any toys or area for small children but this time there was. While I got my teeth cleaned the staff watched my son and printed coloring sheets for him to color; it was seriously like a family. Another awesome feature is that they have a eye clinic as well so I can schedule my eye appointment and my dental appts on the same day. The bathroom is always really clean and the parking is great. Overall we enjoy our experience at this dental clinic and we highly recommend it to those looking for a luxurious cleaning experience. read more

I had a good experience with my teeth cleaning but I felt like I was constantly being sold to. In all fairness I did mention that one of my top teeth had shifted since my Invisalign. I mentioned it as more of like an FYI that I would be eventually seeing my orthodontist about it. It really bothers me when dentist try to do orthodontic work because they don't have the level of experience that orthodontists have AND your dental insurance usually won't cover (if you have orthodontic coverage) if a dentist does the work. In the time I was there as a new patient to get my teeth cleaned, they mentioned veneers (my teeth look great by the way) and BOTOX.... It was a little confusing. I don't like being sold to at the dentist. However, I did like the staff and the dentist and my teeth feel great...so I will go back. I think next time I'll just request "do not sell to" in my chart. Does that make me an asshole? I hope not. read more

A truly wonderful experience, I HATE dental work of any kind even just a cleaning, and it always gives me so anxiety. (Copy/Pasting this from my Google review) Dr. Bassiri gave me back my smile. For the last decade, I had allowed neglect and a particularly severe untreated case of acid reflux ravage my teeth and leave them with a level of decay I can only describe as Dickensian. In my early 20s, I had prided myself on my looks and raffish smile, but before too long I had to start smiling with my lips together, too embarrassed to part them for pictures. I went from never having had a cavity in my life to reaching a figure in the double-digits. When I finally had the means to do something about the damage, I came to Dr. Bassiri and her wonderful staff. I was ashamed of showing off the damage I'd done to my own teeth, even to professionals, but getting to watch Netflix while they worked helped take my mind off of things (they even gave me protective eyewear I could put on OVER my glasses). Also, and this meant a lot to me, they offered to hold my hand as I braced myself to receive my first ever shot of novocaine (or whatever numbing agent was used). Surprisingly, there was no pain AT ALL during the procedure (including the injection). With them, I didn't feel judged for what my mouth looked like; I felt like I was being taken care of. As of this morning, we're nearly done restoring the top row of my teeth (the ones that are visible when I smile). Smiling into a mirror is like looking at an old photograph, something I had given up on ever seeing again. read more

She takes care of you as an overall patient, teeth being just part of it. Pros: - Patient focused - Dr. Bassiri paid close attention to my visit, rather than having her staff do everything; she personally pointed out things other dentists usually breeze over - Very knowledgeable - I've asked countless other dentists questions about my gums and ulcers, and only when I asked Dr. Bassiri, she prescribed me a real solution to traumatic ulcers! - Total experience - the office, the staff, the price, the cleaning, everything! The facility is really nice with high ceilings and a good feel. She's picked great staff that are friendly and helpful. And her office accepted my insurance and called them to make sure I was getting the best quote (she even called me later letting me know she corrected a quote for Invisalign for over $1000 savings!) - She's running a well-oiled machine from top to bottom! She takes care of you from the moment you walk in to the moment you check out and pay. Clear pride in her work and office. Good dental work. However, I wanted to make an appointment in June and was told the next earliest one they had was September. Also, I asked for a pre-authorization because the dental work they wanted to do is not covered by my insurance. They never got the pre-authorization to me. They said it would be covered 50%. However I know that is false because I called my insurance company myself and they don't cover the work at all. Don't feel like I can trust them. read more

It is scary looking for a new Dentist after relocation to a new community but I have found mine. The office is very comfortable and quite nicely decorated to suit their name. The staff is so pleasant and friendly. Dr Bassiri is great! She took her time with me during my first exam and cleaning. I wish I had found this office so many years ago. Dr. Bassiri and her team are fantastic. I have wanted to improve my smile for a long time and every dentist (I went to a few) would only offer me really expensive options. They basically said that was my only choice. So I just accepted the fact that I'd never have a nice smile. I decided to try Fusion Dental based on the great reviews, thank goodness!! Dr. Bassiri gave me several options, at different price ranges that could offer me better smile. I was able to choose a plan of care that fit my budget but improved the look of my teeth drastically. I always knew that it had to be possible but no other dentist would ever give me the option. Not only has Dr. Bassiri given me a better smile, she's also given me a huge boost in self esteem and confidence. I no longer have to be self conscious about my smile. I would give ten stars if I could. I just had a root canal done followed by a filling on one of my front tooth. Dr. Hoda Bassiri and her staff was phenomenal. I cannot tell you how many negative experiences I have had with dentists, needless to say, I was literally trembling before the procedure. The doctor's assistant Pema, immediately put me at ease. I don't even know where to begin. Yesterday, when I was frantically searching for a dentist, I called them ten minutes before they would close down. There was no slot available, so I told the appointment coordinator that my front tooth is actually broken in half, it looks awful, and I would be grateful if she would somehow squeeze me in. AND SHE DID. Literally the first appointment of the day. In my nervous state, I reached 45 minutes prior to the appointment. The front desk staff was courteous and professional and had already gone through my initial paperwork that I had filled out in the morning. By the time, I was called in and started talking to Pema, I had already started feeling a little less anxious. This is the sweetest part: as Dr. Bassiri was injecting the numbing medication on my gum, Pema actually kept tapping my arm and asking if I was feeling okay. And this they did the entire time. Kept on checking on me. I didn't feel a thing. Dr. Bassiri actually takes time to explain everything to you, she doesn't rush you in and they don't try to dupe you. The lady who was my appointment coordinator came in before the procedure and explained clearly to me how much my insurance covered and how much was out of pocket. There was no mincing of words, they do not try to make money through you, they are just thoroughly professional and courteous. Every single member of the staff. It just goes on to show that Dr. Bassiri's work ethics and professionalism permeates through the members of her staff. One last thing: I had vowed I would never visit a dentist because of my traumatic prior experiences. I am telling you, because of what I experienced with Dr. Bassiri and her staff members, I have made a total 180 degrees turn around and will start taking better care of my teeth. I would give more stars if I could! I had moved back to Raleigh after some time out of state and not going to the dentist for 2+ years. I had a toothache that was keeping me up at night. I scoured Yelp looking for a dentist that had good reviews and was open on a Friday. I found Fusion and gave them a call hoping they could fit me in next week. They were able to see me immediately (!), identify and fix the issue causing me pain, and come up with a plan for further treatment. They are upfront with pricing and how much your insurance will cover, which has not always been my experience. Who likes going to the dentist? I certainly don't, but Dr. Bassiri and her team made it painless and quite pleasant. My hygienist Madison was awesome- I've never met someone so passionate about cleaning teeth. They also don't shame you for not going to the dentist or flossing/brushing better, which had always been my previous experience at other providers. Excellent customer service and patient care all around. I've lived in the Raleigh-Durham area for 20+ years and this was by far the best dental experience I have had. I love this place. I am able to watch Netflix while my teeth are being drilled. When I 1st moved here I didn't know where to go for a dentist. I LOVE Dr. Bassiri! I won't go into details, but she has done what 3 other dentists couldn't. Her work is pristine! I also love the hygienists. Madison did my cleaning last time, and she was lovely. Also, it's so great being able to do eye and dental care in the same place, and the staff is amazing about helping set that all up. I drove 2hrs from Wilmington to see them the other day, and knowing this, they made all the appointments I asked for on the same day, so my husband and I could go together and do all our dental cleanings and eye checkups on the same day while we were there. Ok... so I'm one of those people that gets super nervous about the dentist. So bad that I've neglected my teeth for many years. I told them the entire situation and they listened and were so understanding. Gabby was terrific. She was so empathetic and made me feel at ease. Dr. Bassiri was great and did an incredible job. Equally understanding and highly skilled. So efficient. I can't describe all the little things they did but some examples to accommodate me were - over communicating, not laying me down too far, raising my chair when I didn't need to be laying down, letting me watch TV so I'd be "distracted" and most importantly not making me feel bad about my situation. Never in a million lifetimes did I think that I would ever have a dental appointment that I did not loathe with every fiber of my being. I've had many dental showdowns over the years, including two stints with the orthodontist to straighten and just these things in my mouth. And yet, my current dentist and her wonderful staff, continue to defy all dentist horrors and stereotypes. This morning, I literally hummed tunes from the Bluetooth headset (provided for me), while I had an implant installed and a second sight prepped for a second implant later this year. I WAS HUMMING WHILE SHE WORKED!! Even though I was an exhausted, hot mess just getting off my third night shift in a row, I left the office with full certainty that Dr. Bassiri's work is beyond A+. I mean, does YOUR dentist have certification to perform oral surgery procedures? Or does your dentist call you after EVERY surgical procedure to make sure you're recovering well? And if she can't call herself, she makes sure she is available if you have any questions or issues. Yes, this post is long, but that's how much I love my dentist!! After one implant and two fillings on either side of the implant site, it looks like I have new teeth!! My implant is chilling in her new home, and was installed with zero anesthetic...and ZERO pain!
