Dawn and Nancy immediately made us feel welcome and at home. Here's the thing ... I'm extremely ticklish, especially my feet. While I love getting pedicures, the part I dread the most is the callous scrub because of the uncomfortable almost painful sensation. This time, however, Dawn gave me the first EVER pedicure without the horrible ticklish feeling - amazing! When all was said and done, I wanted to do it all over again. Nancy took great care of my mom, who is a nice retired lady who enjoys working at the salon to keep her busy. My mom also enjoyed her experience. The environment is clean and calm with nice music in the background. We enjoyed it so much that we made an appointment for a future visit. Please note: While they may accept credit/debit cards, we were asked to pay with cash for a $120 bill. Since I didn't have enough with me, it was suggested that I go to the bank and come back and then pay. There was no indication cash is preferred. I didn't like that, especially since it was our first visit and we had made it clear it was. I'm sure it's related to what Visa/MC charges for its use. I've waited over a month to post this review in hopes my hair would heal but it has not. I went here on September 18th. I called ahead of time to make my appointment and confirm what I wanted done was possible. They scheduled me for that afternoon. I have not had my hair done in over 4 years so I basically had a fresh canvas. I asked for calico hair color style with a loose perm. I walked out of there with orange, yellow & purple hair. The perm completely fried my hair to the point where it's not falling out in BUNCHES. I had to buy 6 wigs to wear for the next year because my hair is so damaged. Not only did they not offer a refund but they gaslight me the entire time when she finished trying to act like it looked good. Girl, I did not asked for orange and purple streaks in my hair. Think twice before getting your hair done here. First time here and Lee did my nails and pedicure. Thank you Lee for being patient, very nice and did a great job on my full set. All the ladies were so nice and helpful with my questions of the area. I didn't want the massage with my pedicure and I always get gel fingernail polish but regular polish for my toenails and she was very helpful in finding a close match and the top sparkles to also match. I have some troubled toenails and she was also very helpful in that area. I would DEFINITELY use their services again when we come back to the area. I had a pedicure and a fill there. The pedicure was great. I had no problems with that at all. But the fill I had wasn't so great. My appt was on a Saturday. By Monday morning the gel was already peeling. I was very disappointed. Everyone here was very nice and their customer service was great. I didn't go back to have the gal correct my problem. New to the and looking for a new nail salon and place for eyebrows. Read the reviews and found New Reflections! Accidentally went up the street to a different salon (near Albertsons) and quickly realized it wasn't where I called earlier in the day. The lady up the street was rude and the place was packed. Anyway, made it down to New Reflections and WOW what a difference and exactly what I was looking for. The two staff that I met were sooo friendly, the spa atmosphere was relaxing and not crowded (they prefer guests to make appointments) and they did a great job on my pedicure and eyebrows. It was wonderful chatting with them while I got my nails/eyebrows done and saw that other guests had great relationships with the staff as well. Highly recommend!!! Bonnie Hardy - a licensed hair stylist AND a licensed barber - does an amazing job! She took my scruffy "summer locks" and transformed them into a remarkable low maintenance hairstyle. Her specialty is to cut hair so that " it looks good no matter how the wind blows." Absolutely great job ! Took a friend there -- same result! That friend took another friend -- and again, great results! Sometimes one can get a great result once -- and then -- not so good .. however, Bonnie has now been styling my hair for a year and it has never looked better.
