Located at 900 North, this Bloomingdale's does not have a great selection of women's clothing, and sizes are limited. Also, several SAs were just standing around and were not offering any type of assistance. Note that you do have to purchase from one of the retail shops to get your parking validated, inclusive of Astor Hall. The sales rack are not organized, and some of the clothing is not of their best quality - we saw many articles of clothing that were snagged, had rips, or loose threads. Garage parking and limited metered street parking in the area. +non-existent service +limited selection of clothing +located at 900 North +garage and limited metered parking available

Nice store. Living in the PNW, we do not have the same large department stores like NYC and Chicago. The selection of items are much better than what we have in here. This store has a nice men's department. A very good selection on Canali sports jackets. Living out of town I chose to have mine altered in Portland. However you can get full custom alterations of your garments. The best thing about Bloomingdale's is purchasing when there is a sale. We will be back shopping there again and again.

Pretty Cool Bloomingdales Department store is located in a beautiful 900 shop building with other stores like J.crew, in the 900 building shops , there is a Toy store on the sixth floor and the Canadian Hotel Franchise connected to this 9000 shopping mall "Four Seasons Hotel "any, how the Gucci store is right downstairs inside the 900 shopping mall Right across the street from the 900 buildings shops on Michigan Avenue across there a Louis Vuitton store and Robert Coin Jewelry store and down the block there a Neiman Marcus department store to the south I believe, there a Teuscher chocolates -swiss store inside the mall building 900 shops mall, anyhow back to bloomingdales big shout out to Alex in the men's floor at the "Allsaints Boutique inside Bloomingdales " I was with my cat in my pet backpack, he was so friendly and helpful and a couple of people who I didn't get there name at sunglasses section on the first floor, there where very helpful when I was trying some Designer sunglasses on. I was on the ladies' shoe floor, and I'm surprised I didn't see any Saint Laurent ( Y.S.L) & Jimmy Choo, or Valentino Pumps/High heels ( Designer shoe section at this location ). I'm from New York I've seen Designer shoes at the Flagship store on 59 Street & Lexington Avenue, Manhattan, They do sell Saint Laurent (Y.S.L) & Jimmy Choo or Valentino Pumps /Heels which I witnessed with my eyes, I guess these location probably does online orders with Designer shoes Selection !!!! P.S. : This is top Notch Designer/Department store , There in competition with other high-end Department /Boutique stores : The RealReal , Saks Fifth Avenue , Bergdorf Goodman.com , Lord & Taylor.com , Neiman Marcus , Gilt.com , Nordstrom, Macy's , Dillard's.com, Century 21 Department store (c21stores.com) , Blair.com , Fashionphile.com , Burlington , Poshmark.com , Printemps.com ( N.Y.C Location) ,etc other high-end boutiques !!!! Very Convivent by CTA ( Red line-Subway system ), etc CTA buses

Fancying a walk in a luxury department store, I entered 900 North Michigan Shops when I saw the Bloomingdale's sign. Venturing into the beauty section I sampled the lipsticks with help from the sales associate and took advantage of the free gift offer and made a purchase. I love MAC cosmetics, especially their lipsticks so I was excited that I could indulge my weakness. The rest of the store was just as pleasant to walk through and admire the merchandise. There were lovely displays including a flower cart where a fragrance purchase qualifies you for a lovely bouquet. I would definitely visit again if I ever needed more MAC items.

Gigi was rude in cosmetics and Sabrina was rude in handbags. I was there to pick out a gift but disappointed by the service so I walked out.

Haley arranges my consignments seamlessly from time of pick up (or drop off) to when the items go live on the RealReal website. The new RealReal boutique on Walton Street is very fun (and quite addictive) to shop. They showcase an excellent selection of jewelry and handbags that I adore. You could easily not even know that you were shopping consignment because the items are pristine and merchandised so beautifully. Chelsea and Julia are spectacular, and I cannot recommend enough for the chic style suggestions and assistance. I highly recommend Chicago RealReal for consigning and shopping!

I purchased a Rolex for more than $7,300 with the expectation that the information provided by The RealReal was accurate. After consulting with an independent Rolex watchmaker, I learned that the documentation associated with my watch contained an incorrect reference number. That may sound like a minor clerical error, but it is not. The reference number is a critical part of identifying a watch, and inaccurate documentation could create significant issues if I ever decided to resell it or needed to establish authenticity. As it was explained to me, inaccurate paperwork could create legal complications if the watch were ever represented for resale using the incorrect information. The value of a luxury watch is tied not only to the watch itself but also to accurate documentation. I repeatedly requested corrected paperwork but never received it. Ultimately, I had no choice but to return the watch because I was no longer comfortable owning a luxury item with inaccurate documentation. What was even more disappointing was my experience returning it. The store director, Bri, handled the situation in a way that I found dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than listening to my concerns, she repeatedly told me to "calm down," attempted to cut me off while I was speaking, and appeared more concerned with preventing other customers from hearing about the issue than addressing the underlying problem. I explained that anyone spending more than $7,300 on a luxury watch would reasonably be upset after discovering that the documentation they were given was inaccurate. When I asked Bri to stop speaking with me because I no longer wanted to engage with her, I walked away to create some space. Instead of respecting that boundary, she continued following me throughout the store. I found her behavior threatening and intimidating, especially after I had clearly communicated that I no longer wished to interact with her. Thankfully, Wendy stepped in after that interaction and completely changed the tone of the experience. She listened, treated me with respect, answered my questions professionally, and helped facilitate my return without making me feel dismissed. I genuinely appreciated her willingness to step in after I no longer felt comfortable working with Bri. I also want to recognize Keyanna, who originally sold me the watch. She was warm, kind, and professional throughout the sales process. My negative experience was not because of either Wendy or Keyanna. Both represented excellent customer service. My biggest takeaway is this: I no longer have confidence in The RealReal's authentication and documentation process for fine jewelry and luxury watches. I was extremely disappointed to learn that an independent watchmaker does not necessarily inspect these watches before they are sold and that serious documentation errors can make it to the customer. For purchases of this value, accurate authentication and documentation should be established before an item is ever listed for sale. Unfortunately, this experience completely eroded my trust in purchasing fine jewelry or luxury watches from The RealReal. While I appreciate the professionalism shown by Wendy and Keyanna, I cannot recommend buying high-value watches or jewelry from a company that provided inaccurate documentation and then handled my concerns in this manner.

Really love the comfortable feeling clothes here and all the varieties if dresses, cute tops, boxer…read morestyle shorts intimates and sweaters. I've shopped here multiple times with my Pyrenees and I love the fact that everything here is either 100% cotton or very close to it. All the intimates I've purchased fit extremely well or I wouldn't keep coming back. I prefer leaving five stars as a local guide but instead I'm leaving three because of the fact that you can't try on anything here before you buy it so if you aren't a Chicago local you're out of luck. So far i haven't had to return anything though because all of these dresses have adjustable straps and if you buy drawstring shorts you can tighten or loosen the material to fit your body type. I am only five foot one so I can definitely fit into these clothes. The only item that didn't fit me well are a pair of denim shorts I purchased but I may either resell them or lose a bit of weight lol. Here all the fitting rooms are permanently closed. But what really upset me yesterday was the fact that I wanted to try on a metallic gold sweater top but the security guard stopped me and said it's the store policy that no one can try anything on not even a sweater! I don't agree with that policy nor have I ever shopped at a boutique women's clothing store where you can't try on something as simple as a sweater! I also wish to add that when you check out not all the girls are friendly. You're told that all intimates are non refundable as a warning and they never ask you if you've had a pleasant shopping experience. They ring everything up kind of like it's just a job to them then ask you if you want a bag? May I suggest to upper management that you train your staff to be kinder and bag everything up. Better yet provide cute cloth bags as a kindness a cute complimentary cloth bag that we can reuse like the bags provided by Free People brand so that it's eco friendly! In summary some of the staff are polite enough to want to help but yesterday there weren't enough sales crew on the floor and some of the cashiers were looking kind of harried. Love the clothes strongly disagree with the no try on before you buy policy here!

I'm glad they changed it to the current location that has two levels and is much more spacious, but it STILL feels too crowded in there each time I've gone (especially on the weekends). My biggest pet peeve here is that the line to go to the dressing room has people blocking entire walls of clothes, so other shoppers can't really look at those items. The employees (who could be mistaken for shoppers most of the time) are typically folding clothes constantly, which also makes it difficult if they are working on folding a section and I can't really browse that section if they are standing in the way. I try to understand because with the amount of traffic in and out of this store, they definitely try to keep it looking nice and neat. Also was sad they had no free stickers or pins by the register this time like they usually do. Womp womp. I've been here many times because I hate paying their expensive shipping prices. It's a great place to just get simple clothes for everyday wear. Their prices are more affordable when compared to other shops too. They always have new styles every time I come here. Can't wait for the Naperville location to open! Hopefully it won't be as crowded. It'll also be more close to me too. Yay :D
