The reason I continued coming back was because my waxer Dolly, was wonderful. She was always kind, skilled, and made every appointment a great experience. Unfortunately, every interaction I had with the manager was the complete opposite. I didn't interact with her often, but each experience was worse than the last. What is most disappointing is that this is not an isolated issue. There are multiple reviews from other customers describing similar experiences with her. During one of our interactions, she told me she had been the manager for four years, and despite the ongoing complaints reflected in those reviews, the level of customer service I experienced never improved. For a business that relies so heavily on customer relationships, the way customers are treated at the front desk is just as important as the quality of the services being provided. It's unfortunate that such a positive experience with the estheticians is overshadowed by poor management. The final straw came when my services were canceled because of a private conversation I had with a former employee. That conversation was never made public, yet it was shared with management and used as the basis for ending my services. I found it deeply unprofessional to act on secondhand information from a private conversation rather than address any concerns with me directly. Rather than reaching out to discuss my concerns or taking any accountability for my repeated negative experiences, I simply received a message informing me that my private conversation had been shared and that I was no longer welcome at that location. There was no phone call, no conversation, and no effort to understand or address the issues I had experienced. If you're considering this location, I encourage you to read the reviews for yourself. My experience was consistent with many of the concerns other customers have shared. A generic, automated response to negative reviews indicating "you're looking into it" does not resolve the underlying issues or improve the customer experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend Dolly and the estheticians who provide excellent service, but my repeated experiences with management have left me unable to recommend this location.

I missed that second text and my appointment was cancelled the next morning with a 50% cancellation fee charged -- despite already having a confirmed reservation. When I went in to discuss this with the manager, Talesha, her explanation was that the first text is an automated corporate message and the second is a separate store confirmation, and that since I've received these texts for years and it's all logged in their system, missing one was my fault. But by her own policy, this second confirmation request came less than 24 hours before my appointment -- so was I supposed to sit by my phone waiting to reply the moment it came in, knowing I'd already be inside the no-cancellation window regardless? That's not a reasonable expectation, and it doesn't match what actually happened on 2/27, when I only received the automated message with no store confirmation text at all, and wasn't charged. She also told me that even if I opt out of texts, they would force me back into opt-in so they could enforce this policy on me. I have texted STOP in the past and it confirmed I was opted out -- so either that was false, or they're overriding customers' opt-out status without telling them. Either way, that's a serious problem. When I asked for this to be looked into and showed her the message timeline on my phone, she called me rude and tried to end the conversation. Meanwhile, two staff members and herself at the front desk were loudly talking and laughing while I was trying to receive my service. Completely unprofessional. I've seen some bad reviews here, not sure why she's still there when so many customers experience her bad services and attitude.
