I just left Krupa's facial and it was divine. From the moment you enter the spa you are welcomed like royalty. Krupa's spa is clean, smells wonderful, has the most lovely decor and makes you want to curl up with a good book. From the beginning Krupa explained how she will analyze my skin and decide on a facial upon analyzing my current pregnancy stricken skin. She seemed totally undeterred by my crazy prego acne. Thank goodness! The facial was relaxing, with wonderful smelling products that felt divine. Each product smelled better than the last! And DEFINITELY DO THE COLLAGEN EYE MASK! It makes your eye area feel younger and more refreshed! The shoulder, neck, hand and arm massages were also amazing and moisturizing. Now it's time for this pregnant lady to take a nap (of course) but this time with wonderfully moisturizer and glowing skin. Oh I almost forgot! Krupa has a loyalty program. Today was my first day trying out Refresh Beauty & Skincare and I have to say I am really happy I gave this place a try. I went to this establishment to get my full face done and the owner and licensed esthetician Krupa is very warm and welcoming. Not to mention the first thing you notice is how cozy, clean, private, and zen the establishment is upon walking through the door. You can tell Krupa really pays attention to detail and on creating a comfortable and relaxing environment for her clients. Also, she is really easy to talk to and really listens to her clients needs. I love how cute the salon is and the owner is extremely nice, which is why I hate to have to give a bad review on here. I got my back, stomach, and arms wax here 4 days ago and I got a rash on my back, I kept wondering if it's because she used one stick throughout waxing my back, arms, and stomach. I was trying to be positive and tell myself since I was her first client of the day maybe it was brand new wax, which is why she kept dipping the same wooden stick on the inside the wax. The next day I got a rash and my back was itchy, I thought maybe it was just because my skin was irritated, I waited for the rash to go away and it's day 4 and it's still there but has gone down. (I am not allergic to anything)I paid $55 in total for everything but it was definitely not worth it since my hair is already growing back, and she missed a couple of spots which I noticed when I got home, and didn't really mind. I decided to get my own waxing kit instead definitely less expensive. I was unhappy with the threading I had been receiving at my usual local places so a friend recommended Refresh. I'm so glad she did! Krupa (the owner) is so sweet and does an incredible job threading and shaping my brows. It's nice to have the same person thread me each time rather than visiting other salons where the employees can be hit or miss. Her prices are also cheaper than nearby places including Rani ($4 for eyebrows) and she offers a wonderful rewards program where the 6th eyebrow threading is free. Needed my eyebrows, upper lip and chin done ASAP and I had seen flyers for the grand opening a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try since it was super close by. Was definitely not disappointed. My eyebrows look amazing, the price was very reasonable and the service was amazing as well! The owner was very friendly and knowledgable, and I look forward to using other services as well. The place itself was very clean and well kept and just had an overall relaxing feel to the environment which I haven't always found to be the case at other places. But if you are looking for a great facial with great price and great personal attention, then this is the place for you. Her place is still clean and cutely decorated.
