I work there!! It is an amazing theater! The staff (including me) are very nice people!

We watched Avatar fire and ash in 3D. The reclining chairs are comfortable. The theater was super clean. We were totally impressed.

Shocked by complacency. On Sunday June 28th 2026, We took our four year old to his first movie in a theater. The 1:10pm showing of Toy Story 5 in theater 15. Around the middle of the movie sunlight pierced the theater as the left emergency exit door opens and I see two males walking into the theater from outside. I leap to my feet with my heart in my throat to assess the situation. As I attempt to catch up to them as they hit the hallway, they split up and I see that one is in all black clothing, noticeably fit and wearing a backpack. As I get closer I see he has curly hair, broad face and cauliflower ears from wrestling or MMA. I step out of theater and alert the concession staff that I need the police. The staff were receptive but there was no police response. I step back into the theater to find the backpacked intruder seated and texting on his phone. Soon after another father joins in concerned and his wife ushers their children out of the theater. Mr Backpack gets up and exits the theater via the lobby according to the other father, while I was searching the rest of theater 15 for someone out of place. We ended up staying to finish the movie and a manager did come and speak to us. Other patrons left the theater scared. That being said the movie was ruined for us and I'm not sure that with no action plan or audible alarm, police presence, or threat being taken seriously I'd ever return. Still concerned after the movie, I later tracked down the man in black and discovered he was a server at 131 Main. I questioned him and he was nice enough to explain that someone had exited looking for a bathroom and he escorted them back inside and decided to take a peak at the movie. Seems more likely an employee was letting a friend in to see a movie for free but either way I was satisfied that it wasn't a dressed rehearsal for an attack. Sadly in 2026 I can't take chances with my family's life in a venue that isn't going to offer safety and security. Why is the emergency exit alarm not going off ???? Isn't that fire code ? If this had been a Dark Knight situation we were sitting ducks and help was not coming. We drove two hours for this movie one way and arranged for my parents to keep our younger child. 20 years of using this theater but no more.

A nice visit. Typical older theater with worn out seats and overpriced everything. The part that wasn't fun was the line for concessions. We waited about 10 minutes in line. 3 lines were open. 2 were cash only and one was card. But none of the lines really moved quickly. Finally towards the end another person opened a register that accepted cash. No straws at the utensils area either. The employees looked stressed, so they must have been missing people that day

Seats on row in front of us were unplugged and not working. Same for one of our groups' Very poor condition upholstery. Rough.

Unplugged seats. Worn out seats like a tired old RV. Pick it up. Not a cheap mediocre experience.

On a recent visit to Ashville, we wanted to watch a movie, the movie itself turned out to be a bust, but the theater was pretty cool. We got some seats in the RPX theater. The reclining leather chairs were very comfortable and the sound comes right through your seating with the vibration. That part was great so I would definitely check it out. Parking is in a covered structure close to the theater.

The line to get drinks and food is so long it's absolutely ridiculous. Hire more people.

The condition of the theater is less an habitable. The seats are in I'll repair and the bathrooms are unhealthy.

They do have the reclining seats in some theaters, well worth the extra few bucks a ticket.

We were expecting a lot of sudden surprise moments from Ridley but we were disappointed. A bit of a lame episode in the Alien Franchise. But theatre was great, cool but not cold, sound up a bit but not too loud. On the way out, the restrooms were spotless. A very pleasant experience. How hard is it to manage inventory? The snack bar hasn't re-stocked their premium-priced caramel corn in four weeks and the center soft drink machine has been out of flavored Coke Zero for at least three weeks. The snack bar attendants were understanding, but couldn't say when the caramel corn will be back. Disappointing for a weekly movie goer who buys the best, that is when it is available.

Pros: Close to our home with clean and easy to use restrooms and hallways that are able to handle the human traffic. Cons: Human staff have been replaced with impersonal, often faulty kiosks, along with automated snack, popcorn, and drink machines. The new leather-like, electronically controlled seats are poorly designed and horribly stiff and uncomfortable with adjustment switches so poorly placed that they're nearly impossible to find in the dark, making it frustrating to change positions during the movie or to exit when it ends. And to her discomfort the seats are so high that my 5'4" wife's feet dangle and don't touch the floor when sitting upright. In the smaller capacity theaters, the stiff and uncomfortable seating is even worse, making films longer than two hours feel unbearable. It is so bad that we've passed on watching movies that are that long or longer in this theater and will attend other theaters to view them.

The full recliner seats are bizarre--you practically have to crawl on all fours just to get in and out of them. The sound was painfully loud. Buying concessions felt like a hazing experience: there was no one available to answer questions, two of the self-service kiosks were out of order, a crowd of people just milling about bumping into each other with total confusion. I would only recommend coming here for IMAX, and even then, bring your own snacks and earplugs. I have no idea how this theater has a 4.7-star rating, I would imagine a great deal of those high reviews are bots paid for by Epic. Shameful!!

The showing was at 10:25 am, and surprisingly there was quite a few people at the movie. A stop by the restroom and putting soap on my hands, then seeing that NONE of the 3 faucets would work, I had go down the hall to the family rest room. The seating in the movie theater is not as comfortable as in other movie theaters and the leg room isn't as spacious. I did enjoy the pleasure of getting a Charlie horse, from hell in the back of my left thigh as I started walking down the stairs from where we were seated(ohhhhh it was so painful!!!!!). Thankfully the Charlie horse eased away after "I walked it out" in the parking lot!! The movie was enjoyable and spending time with my great nephew (Aunt Chelle's baby)was worth that Charlie horse!!

There was no way of knowing if it was beverage liquid or not so I went to the counter to see if I could get my seats cleaned. The nice girl at the counter offered me a wet paper towel and I declined and said I'd prefer if I could use an alcohol wipe or cleaning agent of some kind. The lobby had no one in it and it was not busy at all. She walked about 6 feet over to her manager who was occupied at the register next to her with a task that did not involve any nearby customers. He looked up at me and appeared to be visibly annoyed that I was causing his employee to stop him with what he was doing. He whispers to her and does not approach me or acknowledge me verbally. She came back over to me and said, "Sorry we will send someone in a little while. We can't right now." I addressed the very young looking male manager at the register and asked if he was indeed the manager. He responded. "Yeah.. why?" (Visibly irritated at being addressed). This irked me, so I asked for his name. He mumbles back to me "I'm busy. I'll help you in a little bit." There were no other customers in the lobby. I responded firmly, "No I'd like clean seats now please." He begrudgingly turns to the female employee and says, "can you just do it?" This seemed like an obvious first solution since he was "so busy." She walked with me to my seats and cleaned them. I thanked her for helping me and tipped her $10 cash. I genuinely appreciated her help and I was frustrated for her and myself that her manager displayed no customer service skills and made the entire situation more awkward and difficult than it needed to be. As a person who works in the service industry, I can't understand how someone with so little customer service skills and inability to handle such mundane situations, would be in a leadership position. The final solution that I had to beg for should've been the very first step. The movie was a great experience and I can't wait to go back. Hopefully the next experience will involve clean seats or at the very least a manager who addresses a cleanliness concern from a customer, without being rude and unprofessional.
