My Saturday started out with an invitation from my great nephew, to go on a movie date. We went to see The Odyssey at the Regal Simpsonville. The showing was at 10:25 am, and surprisingly there was quite a few people at the movie. A stop by the restroom and putting soap on my hands, then seeing that NONE of the 3 faucets would work, I had go down the hall to the family rest room. The seating in the movie theater is not as comfortable as in other movie theaters and the leg room isn't as spacious. I did enjoy the pleasure of getting a Charlie horse, from hell in the back of my left thigh as I started walking down the stairs from where we were seated(ohhhhh it was so painful!!!!!). Thankfully the Charlie horse eased away after "I walked it out" in the parking lot!! The movie was enjoyable and spending time with my great nephew (Aunt Chelle's baby)was worth that Charlie horse!! read more

Walked into the imax theater to see "The Odyssey" 40 minutes early (10 minutes before the trailers start) and noticed there was a lot of liquid in the cup holders of my seats. There was no way of knowing if it was beverage liquid or not so I went to the counter to see if I could get my seats cleaned. The nice girl at the counter offered me a wet paper towel and I declined and said I'd prefer if I could use an alcohol wipe or cleaning agent of some kind. The lobby had no one in it and it was not busy at all. She walked about 6 feet over to her manager who was occupied at the register next to her with a task that did not involve any nearby customers. He looked up at me and appeared to be visibly annoyed that I was causing his employee to stop him with what he was doing. He whispers to her and does not approach me or acknowledge me verbally. She came back over to me and said, "Sorry we will send someone in a little while. We can't right now." I addressed the very young looking male manager at the register and asked if he was indeed the manager. He responded. "Yeah.. why?" (Visibly irritated at being addressed). This irked me, so I asked for his name. He mumbles back to me "I'm busy. I'll help you in a little bit." There were no other customers in the lobby. I responded firmly, "No I'd like clean seats now please." He begrudgingly turns to the female employee and says, "can you just do it?" This seemed like an obvious first solution since he was "so busy." She walked with me to my seats and cleaned them. I thanked her for helping me and tipped her $10 cash. I genuinely appreciated her help and I was frustrated for her and myself that her manager displayed no customer service skills and made the entire situation more awkward and difficult than it needed to be. As a person who works in the service industry, I can't understand how someone with so little customer service skills and inability to handle such mundane situations, would be in a leadership position. The final solution that I had to beg for should've been the very first step. The movie was a great experience and I can't wait to go back. Hopefully the next experience will involve clean seats or at the very least a manager who addresses a cleanliness concern from a customer, without being rude and unprofessional. read more

Disgusting. Came here to see a movie and the bathrooms were filthy with toilet paper everywhere. Out of the 4 soap dispensers only one worked. Out of the 6 sinks only one worked. I can't imagine how well these workers wash their hands. I thought it was also odd I got the tickets online and I had a QR code. I still had to wait in line to print my tickets to show them?? They have 3 workers working in the customer service area not doing anything but being on their phones. Lazy and disgusting. The seats in the movie theatre were constantly squeaking everywhere which was super distracting. Before all this I got popcorn and drinks at the concession stand and they didn't give me a receipt and I had to ask for one which was also sketch. read more

The pop corn was the best deal. It was filled to the top. Hot and fresh. I am disappointed they have not updated the theater. In theater 2 the seats were very worn out and they need to be cleaned. Bathroom needs updating too read more

Hi! I wanted to share my experience at your theater on 12/19 when my family went to see SpongeBob. I sent this feedback via email to your corporate customer service center, but the response that I received made it clear that customer experience is not a priority for your theater. When my family came to see Smurf's last summer and my son got the mushroom popcorn bucket, the register clerk was so thoughtful to ask if he would like the popcorn on the side so that it didn't mess up his bucket. He is autistic and particular about things like that, so it was incredible that that was offered. On 12/19, we brought that same son to see SpongeBob in his SpongeBob costume. He and my daughter decided on the popcorn souvenir bucket that comes with the two drink cups. I asked for the popcorn on the side so that it doesn't mess up his bucket. I was told that I couldn't be given souvenir bucket popcorn in a bag on the side. That is not allowed. Even the manager denied my request after I again explained that I'd paid for the souvenir bucket and just needed the popcorn on the side so that it didn't mess up my son's bucket. The manager told me that giving away bags upsets the "people upstairs." You gave me four, single use plastic trays for the popcorn that you refused to put in a biodegradable bag... for my family, with our hands already full of the other food and souvenirs we'd bought (including a separate bag of popcorn that we paid for), to carry to our seats, spilling all over because you couldn't provide a single paper bag. I'm certain that you are trying to make up for lost revenue due to the loss of your alcohol license and the general decline of theater attendance due to competition from streaming services. Maybe you should have given as much oversight to the sale of alcohol as you do the distribution small paper bags. Between the four movie tickets, the souvenir popcorn bucket, the hot pink cozy movie blanket my daughter wanted, cotton candy, and an additional medium popcorn, I'd we willing to bet that the money we spent at this theater in one night was over $150. I'm not upset at the young men at the counter. I'm not even upset with the manager I spoke to. But if that really is your policy... you can't give popcorn for a souvenir bucket on the side so that a little boy can keep his souvenir bucket clean... do better. read more

In the middle of a handful of popcorn from the middle of my large bucket, I bit into something...refrigerator-cold and gummy-ish!! GROSS!!! I saved it in a napkin. It looked like a cube of pepperoni, but the managers said they do not serve anything like it. I was denied a pass to see my movie again. I was, "compensated," w/a, "free," refill of my popcorn & drink which is included in the price. There were only 6 people in my movie- maybe a dozen cars outside. I would think they would strive for customer retention, but I will not go there again. Don't trust their site, nor Regals'. I drove across town, passed 3 theaters bc both sites said my movie was in IMAX in Simpsonville, but it was not. read more

The pizza will make you really sick it's got frostbite but we watched Iron lung in theatre 9 it was very clean I did have sometime stick to my foot in the aisle but there were only 4 people in the whole theatre. 8/10 experience DONT go to the Camelot in Greenville. read more

This location needs a big time upgrade. The theater smells and the air feels damp and musty. The leather seats are all cracked and hurts the back of your legs if you're wearing shorts . The women's bathroom smells so bad and that's even first thing in the morning. Most of the stalls are broken . Day old popcorn needs to go ! Need to make fresh popcorn! read more

Maybe I haven't been to the movies in a while but I was not impressed. I highly suggest buying your tickets online first. You buy your concessions and movie tickets at the concessions stand so the lines are soooo long. They are also extremely slow because it takes people forever and day to pick their seats. I went to an IMax and the seats were really comfy. I can't complain about the movie experience itself. You can also take your own water bottle in there so that was nice. Granted we went to see a 9:50 movie tonight, but I have never seen a more disgusting place in my life. There was not an inch of the place that was clean. Popcorn every where, spills, paper, unnamed nastiness. I even told my husband not to lean against counter it was that bad. When I told the manager, his response was that they were busy. It's Saturday. Come on, you can't wipe a counter off between movies, vacuum, sweep vacuum makes no noise. Going in and coming out I saw employees literally doing nothing. We'll if you continue keeping it trashy, you bring in trash, then what do you know, then you close. Because most adults expect better. Class it up Simpsonville! The movie Wicked was excellent and appropriate for my 10 year old granddaughter. The trailers shown before the movie began were not. How can a main feature rated PG have PG13 and R rated trailers. Violent and horror scenes. Shameful management practice. We have to worry about children and internet content, and now the movie theater too. 29 minutes to get popcorn. Line was 45 minutes when we arrived. Suggest you wait for streaming at home. $76 for two seniors and a child; minimal refreshments. read more

I was in line for 40 minutes to get food. Really slow service. I then decided to go to watch the movie and order online. 35 minutes passed and no notification about my order. I decided to go to the online orders pickup counter, and no one was getting orders ready. I have to get someone's attention to get online orders ready. Really bad service. This place is a ghost town. The bar which appears to be in great shape, isn't used. They do not serve alcohol. We went to see the re release of titanic there wasn't one advertisement for the movie. There was about 8 people in the entire building which made me believe this location may not be around for long. read more

This is our go to theater simply because of it's proximity and we've been coming here for years. While the movie screen and theater itself is nice, and the staff are always friendly, the wait at concessions can be hit or miss. Sometimes having to wait a very long time just to grab a drink and/or popcorn can sour the experience. We understand that being short staffed, that's to be expected. Would really like to see this place get better and be as efficient as it used to be pre-Covid. read more

Tonight we went to see a movie & I used my points to get a ticket. I couldn't find the link to download the scan code. The very kind guy at the customer service desk - Isaiah helped me. He went above & beyond to make sure I got the ticket so I could see the movie. Definitely was a pleasure having him help me & not just ignore me or let me figure it out myself. Pro: IMAX theater, perfect for big, epic movies. Concessions include beer and meal items like pizza and chicken nuggets (and my favorite, ICEEs). Regal has reward points that count all purchases towards free popcorn upgrades, drink upgrades, and movie tickets. Theater is relatively secluded, so the parking lot is its own. Can buy tickets on phone (ex: Fandango) and easily scan phone to check in, bypassing the busy ticket counters or kiosks. This theater also has reserved seating, so you can pick your seats ahead of time. Con: Theater not very clean. Concessions often slow - I have spent anywhere from 5-30 minutes in line. Ticket purchase line typically long as well - overall it seems things don't run very efficiently. Prices are extremely expensive - not only tickets but concessions as well - a small popcorn starts at $6.25. Two tickets for an IMAX 3D movie with a medium popcorn and a large ICEE runs well over $50. read more

After waiting 12 years for the sequel to Avatar to come out, buying our tickets a month in advance, the entire movie was ruined because some a** wipe couldn't make it through a 3 hour movie without smoking pot in the theater....6...freaking...times! 6! After putting up with it twice I finally got up, missed some of the movie, to go complain to management who turns to this teenager behind her (who she said was the manager) "did you hear that? Another complaint about pot in that theater" so these two "girls" let's say, walk into the theater and stand half way up the steps and stand there staring at everyone, like anyone is going to spark one up while they're standing there. So after standing there for 5 minutes they say there's nothing they can do. We said stop the movie and find them, they said "we're not allowed to stop it" we said ok call the cops then they didn't say anything. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR BEING COMPLACENT TO ILLEGAL DRUG USE IN YOUR THEATER PUTTING EVERY...SINGLE...PERSON...IN THERE IN DANGER! My husband has asthma and can't be around smoke of any kind, there were young children in there, elderly people! SHAME ON YOU REGAL! I enjoy this location more than the other Regals in the area due to the smaller size and location. I appreciate a less crowded parking lot and shorter concession lines. The option of adult beverages and a game room offers additional perks to the visit. Tight requirement on purchasing beverages so come prepared to show ID AND answer numerous questions. I simply consider it company policy. Also love the plush seats which are comfortable and the rock in some theaters. Bathrooms easily accessible throughout the building with a party room. Nice promotional displays and a smiling staff. I normally visit during the week and avoid weekends, personal preferences. read more

So me and my girlfriend went to go see Megan that this movie theater and at first we we're having a good date night but half way into the move the other people in the movie theater we're starting to get loud and none of the employees came in after I tried letting somebody know about it and the bathrooms weren't to clean and the trash cans weren't clean from the last showing so I wouldn't approve this movie theater if you're wanting to enjoy a date night at this location so I'll most likely be going a bit farther to another movie theater. Their lucky I'm even giving 3 stars read more

Typical IMAX which of course means superb way to watch a movie. Great picture and sound. There are plenty of comfy seats available so for a movie you really want to see, the $17 ticket price is worth it but probably not if you are going to the movies just to kill time. Beer and wine are available as well. Even though I gave the theater 5 stars, I do want to mention something. Here as with every theater, the concession stand prices are insane. The food is ok at best but man, exPENsive. Eat before you go if you want to save some dough. read more

I took the little one to see Trolls on a Friday night. There was plenty of parking, a very short wait to buy tickets and a friendly cashier. The theater was clean and even though there were only about ten guests in our show, the staff came in to clean after. Big thumbs up! read more

I've been here multiple times and the floors are always dirty, the line to get your ticket and your popcorn take forever. I actually timed it today and there were 3 people ahead of me and it took 10 minutes to get up to the front of the line to get a $5 dollar drink. Remind you, if you only get larges you can only get refills. The people working just walk around clueless like they have no idea what's going on. read more

Completely unorganized on a BUSY Christmas day. They do serve beer and wine, which was cool (or so I thought) and they have a nice little bar area which happened to be closed on a busy Christmas afternoon. You could order a beer or wine at the concession line, but the attendant had to walk way over to the bar area to get your drinks. This really slowed down the already lengthy lines! Each transaction that I observed seemed to take forever (even people just grabbing a popcorn or a soda?) There were a few puddles (one really large) of spilled drink on the floor in the middle of the concession lines. Certainly not the theaters fault for sloppy customers (which for some reason there were many) but it took 15 minutes for someone to come over and try to mop the mess up. Talk about an accident waiting to happen! Anyway, this was a reminder of why I seldom come to the movies. When I do visit Greenville again, I will certainly not return to this circus! read more

This theatre made recent changes which make absolutely no sense. We won't be going here anymore. First, they changed it so you now have to pick a seat when purchasing your ticket. Really? Imagine how time consuming this is when you're standing in a long line trying to get in to the movie. To make matters MUCH worse you now have to buy your tickets at the concession stand! Ridiculous! Decisions about where you want to sit in addition to decisions about what to snack on...all at the same time in the same line! So very frustrating when you DON'T even want a snack.
