Lovely quaint little historical theatre that has been around for over 70 years I think. Nice to see some indie theatres sticking around.

If you host an event like this you should only sell a limited amount of tickets instead of being more concerned with ticket sales and over selling. They should have someone directing parking for events like this. What a terrible experience!

Have enjoyed this theater in the past and the 4th fireworks display. However, this weekend (2026) we arrived at 7:30pm, gates supposedly open at 7:00pm. Place was packed, with cars parked in the isles and driveways. Drove around the lot trying to find a space. None available. Got our money back minus online processing fees. Watched as dozens of cars paid at the gate and drove around to find no parking spaces. Staff started directing people to the parking lot of an assisted living facility next door, so we parked there to see if we could at least see the fireworks. No such luck, but the assisted living parking lot quickly filled up. You couldn't see the screen from your vehicle if parked there either. Theater staff instructed people to take chairs and walk through a hole in the fence separating the two facilities to watch the movie. We left once we realized we couldn't see either the fireworks or the movie from our vehicle. Event was MASSIVELY OVERSOLD. Having a ticket didn't guarantee you a parking space. Surprised the county allowed cars to park in the driveways and isle for safety reasons. Theater staff should have told people the event was sold out after tickets for all the available parking spaces (on the theater property) were taken.

Pros: Close to our home with clean and easy to use restrooms and hallways that are able to handle the human traffic. Cons: Human staff have been replaced with impersonal, often faulty kiosks, along with automated snack, popcorn, and drink machines. The new leather-like, electronically controlled seats are poorly designed and horribly stiff and uncomfortable with adjustment switches so poorly placed that they're nearly impossible to find in the dark, making it frustrating to change positions during the movie or to exit when it ends. And to her discomfort the seats are so high that my 5'4" wife's feet dangle and don't touch the floor when sitting upright. In the smaller capacity theaters, the stiff and uncomfortable seating is even worse, making films longer than two hours feel unbearable. It is so bad that we've passed on watching movies that are that long or longer in this theater and will attend other theaters to view them.

The full recliner seats are bizarre--you practically have to crawl on all fours just to get in and out of them. The sound was painfully loud. Buying concessions felt like a hazing experience: there was no one available to answer questions, two of the self-service kiosks were out of order, a crowd of people just milling about bumping into each other with total confusion. I would only recommend coming here for IMAX, and even then, bring your own snacks and earplugs. I have no idea how this theater has a 4.7-star rating, I would imagine a great deal of those high reviews are bots paid for by Epic. Shameful!!

Since this was early afternoon, we decided on a Popcorn lunch, so got a bucket and large drink. Theater was very clean well organized, staff was very friendly and helpful. We made our way to our seats to clean and very comfortable padded and adjustable seats that in all or most AMCs. Ahhhhh. After the inevitable series of coming attractions, our movie started. We were expecting a lot of sudden surprise moments from Ridley but we were disappointed. A bit of a lame episode in the Alien Franchise. But theatre was great, cool but not cold, sound up a bit but not too loud. On the way out, the restrooms were spotless. A very pleasant experience. We thought for sure our GPS was off because the theater is way in back of mall shops.

How hard is it to manage inventory? The snack bar hasn't re-stocked their premium-priced caramel corn in four weeks and the center soft drink machine has been out of flavored Coke Zero for at least three weeks. The snack bar attendants were understanding, but couldn't say when the caramel corn will be back. Disappointing for a weekly movie goer who buys the best, that is when it is available.
