I came here to watch the Lilo and Stitch movie and I thought the establishment was okay. Some of the seats in the theater are peeling and they're noisy when reclining. The theater could have also been cleaner. When I place my order at the concession stand, I was about to be charge erroneously. The good thing is that I caught it before I paid for it. To eat, I ordered loaded fries and a blue raspberry icee and that was good. I would return due to the limited theaters in Gainesville.

I don't go to the movies often but this is the place to do it. They have very spacious seating with reclining chairs and a little table to hold drinks and snacks. I also like that for bigger movies like Barbie amd Wicked that they do themed snacks and drinks. I've gone here to see both Barbie and most recently Wicked and they have themed popcorn, merchandise and mixed drinks as they have a bar. Really enjoyed the drink.

I'm a serious movie-goer. Like, 3rd generation super movie fan, I've even got projectors and a movie bar cart full of snacks at my house complete with a popcorn maker. So it's safe to say that I take my movie-going experience pretty serious, lol. So when this fancy new theater came to town, I was impressed! There are levels to movie theaters these days and this location at Celebration Pointe takes it up just a step. Complete with a bar parading its own extensive menu, it's one of the points to highlight here. The other 'regular' theaters in town offer beer and wine, but this location offers cocktails, beer, wine and more. Nothing like enjoying a movie with a lil buzz! Prices are definitely movie prices but what can you expect? I usually get a beer so I can't speak on the potency from the bartender, but they give a generous pour! There are far more screens here than the other theaters and include the RPX system in a few. With more seating than the others as well, I really appreciate the space between myself and other guests while visiting during the pandemic! The seats are super comfy and able to be reclined, which really takes the movie to another level for me because who wants to be all stiff watching the big screen? I've also enjoyed the team here whenever I visit, and feel like I'm greeted with nothing but smiles and great assistance. So as a super movie fan who is finally trying to get back to one of my favorite past-times, it's nice to know that we have another local theater to enjoy while I take in the best that the big-screen has to offer. :)

Today's Movie Date was to see Kung Fu Panda. My family and I ordered our tickets online through the mobile app and it made the check in process easier. This location was conveniently located in the Celebration Pointe area, with parking on the street and on the right side of the building. We ordered our drinks, candy, popcorn, nachos and pizza and my family and I tore it all up lol. The movie was great, and the seating was completely. The leather seats were very won out with ripes in the leather but we sat there anyway. 10/10, will visit again!

My first time back at the movie theater since COVID and omg it felt pretty darn good! We went early and it was perfect, not many people at all and literally no one in our theater which was great. It had been so long since I've been at the movies, I thought the seats were wider but apparently not. Nevertheless, it felt good to watch a movie in the theater; I didn't get any snacks or drinks this time as we were heading to an event that involved food and drink. I love this movie theater it's always clean and my fave one to go to in Gainesville.

Get a load of the new Regal in Gainesville! It's brand spanking new, and giving off total "movie theatre palace vibes" with its leather reclining seats, snack trays w/ cup holders, clean and barely used facilities, separate kiosk room, seat selection, and huge customer service desk. Fancy. Ticket and concessions purchasing is a breeze. The Coke in the soda fountain was flat during my visit, so I opted for a small cherry/Cola icee instead. -- not that I needed either! Loved my first visit of many! P.S. Regal rewards RULE (join for free and get points, or you're losing!)

This should be the Fiery Pineapple Rita shown on the menu. Do you see a Pineapple? Do you see jalepenos?

I have to agree with the previous reviewer who applauds the comfy seating and laments the horrid customer service. I love going to the movies for a night out and was thrilled when this theater opened with a small cocktail bar. I was a little hungry so I asked if I could see the food menu. "Somebody took our copy" was the response. "So you don't have a food menu?"- my reply "No we do. Just somebody took it, so we don't. You can just go around to concessions and look at their stuff we pretty much have the same thing." So no, I didnt order food but we got two drinks. The disappointing Fiery Pineapple Rita (see photo) which came with neither pineapple or jalepenos. So I asked: "Where are the pineapple and jalepenos?" "Nobody cut any in back so we dont have them. I know it sucks, doesn't it. It's kinda been one of those nights" his reply. Really you couldn't have told me that before serving me an incomplete drink so that maybe we could have chosen something you did actually have? They just really treat people crappy and take what should have been a great night out that I've been looking forward to and kick it in the teeth right from the start. Thanks. But the seats are very comfortable.

The auditoriums were comfortable with the recliner seats and the other patrons were quiet and respectful. One thing I will say: Regal recently updated their mask policy to relax it for vaccinated patrons and strongly suggest it for non-vaccinated patrons, I believe. I have no issues wearing masks (especially when watching a movie - it doesn't get much easier than that), but it was nice to be relaxed and remove it once people got settled and the movie began. I do hope that theaters continue soft seat-blocking with reserved seating for awhile so you don't have immediate neighbors unless the theatre fills up. It'll probably help people ease back into life after lockdown.

I had to put tissues in my ears and my friend put her ear against the seat to tone down the loudness. The staff there acted like it was out of their control. We saw Toy Story 5 and although it was a good movie, it was not a great experience with ridiculously loud volumes. I have been to movies all my life and the volume was quite messed up.

With Regal Unlimited, I can see as many movies as I'd like throughout the month, at any theater my choosing - how awesome?! Well, since I joined, I've had the pleasure of hitting all 3 local theaters and feel like I missed my calling as a Movie Theater employee and the free perks lol. With 3 options, it's easy to find your favorite and realize which offer what you want. For me, the concession stand is vital, the size and upgrades of the theater (especially within a pandemic!) and most importantly - comfy seating! Well, Royal Park is a cool theater but sadly, not my favorite of the 3 and maybe not #2. The location is great, but being the last theater in the city to be loved on by some upgraded renovations, what could be expected? While the other theaters are brand new or recently renovated, walking into Royal Park reminded me of going back to 1996. The carpets, the games, the decor - very much giving pre-Y2K, but that has nothing to do with the team that's there! Beyond the initial visual impression, my impression of the team was amazing. I was promptly greeted at the concessions counter by friendly faces who were so patient (because I'm incredibly indecisive although I always order the same thing lol) and so friendly! When my arms were full of snacks, a team member jogged up to open the door for me - what customer service, what a gentleman! So no, there are no reclining seats or fancy, freshly-made cocktails at this theater but the movie experience and the 5-star service is still being served up! :)

My boyfriend and I wanted to play in the Arcade but the machines were cash only and there was no way to get cash in the movie theatre. I also really wanted to use the Photo Booth and the card reader didn't work at all which was kind of frustrating. As for the movie itself the chairs aren't that comfy they don't recline or anything. We are always greeted warmly, parked strategically, and had the details explained to us upon arrival. Because our motorhome is 40' we have to park sideways so cannot see the movies out of the windshield as you would in a car, but we put out our lawn chairs and raised dog bed outside the rig and listen on our FM radio. We do tie the pups off to a post in front of us because others with dogs often park or walk nearby and ours are a bit too friendly. When the ticket booth opens, we pay for our tickets and concession voucher. The muffulettas and popcorn are both excellent! We were told we could run our generator before/after the movies but not during...worked out perfectly for us! Although our rig is self contained and didn't use them, bathrooms were nearby and open through the night. The even projected a free Valentines message between films as long as it was received a few days prior. Note: if you don't plan to listen from your car, you do need an FM radio...I don't think they have any of the old-fashioned window hanging speakers.

We accidentally lined up incorrectly and got a whole lecture how to read the signs. After paying $6 each and being charged an automatic $10 food voucher, we parked. The ladies working the concession stand are so rude. There's a sign that basically says "don't line up if you don't know what you want." The popcorn had been popped earlier so it wasn't warm and way too salty. The soda was flat, and the mozzarella sticks were again, salty. Apple Pay doesn't work! Movie started at 8pm and it was still daylight outside. The screen was still dark that no one could actually see the movie until an hour later. The instructions were to turn off the lights and engine, but the people around us had their engines on so the exhaust kept flowing through the lot. I wish there was an attendant that enforced the rules. Overall, it's an experience but they need to do better. I guess this is what $22 gets us.
