The Parking Nightmare: 10-Minute Limits: The main issue here is the parking layout. About 95% of the parking spaces are strictly designated as 10-minute parking, which makes absolutely no sense for a movie theater. The Empty Valet Lot: They have an entire massive section of the lot completely blocked off and closed for a valet service. The kicker? The valet is never even present. It's just a giant, empty, wasted lot sitting right next to the theater for no reason while regular customers struggle to find a spot. Lack of Accessibility: There are only two handicap parking spaces for the entire complex, which is completely unacceptable for a venue of this size. The Theater & Amenities: Online Fees: On top of the parking hassle, they tack on extra fees just for buying your tickets online. Peeling D-Box Seats: I paid extra to get the D-Box seats, but the material on them was completely peeling. Lack of Reinvestment: The theater itself works fine and does what a theater should do, but I feel like a company this big should be reinvesting their money much better into the actual quality of the facility. Select the movie, time, and date. LOCATION/PARKING: It is located in the West Grove Center, where there is a Starbucks, bowling alley, and nearby there is a McDonald's. Parking was easy to find, they do have a lot, but I can see it getting busy with the other stores and restaurants in the same complex. SERVICE/AMBIANCE: The movie theatre got a recent update. It is very clean and inviting. I loved their holiday decorations. They have about 4 auditoriums and all have recliner seats. The theatre was comfortable and spacious. Regarding their service, all of the employees I had contact with were very professional and kind. They were patient with some patrons that needed additional time ordering and were very helpful. ------ CONCESSION STAND: They offer your typical snacks of popcorn, candy, hot dogs, and nachos. *You can get a free refill if you order a large size for your popcorn or drink *I appreciated the self service butter counter and that there was an abundant supply of condiments and napkins. ------ MOVIE DEALS: Tuesdays and Thursdays All Day $6 Movie Tickets Sundays before 12pm $6 *They do charge $1.75 if you purchase tickets online ------ All in all I had a great time at this theatre! Instead of working with me, she snapped and raised her voice saying she has a hearing aid. Okay... but how does that justify being aggressive and unhelpful? There was zero patience, zero communication, and just an overall hostile attitude the entire interaction. It honestly felt uncomfortable and unnecessary going in the movie. It's frustrating because the theater itself is perfectly fine, but customer service like that completely kills the experience. I shouldn't feel like I'm bothering someone just to watch a movie. I had plan to see the latest flick in the Mario and Luigi Galaxy sometime this weekend. Not sure…read morewhen but a time would present itself. So I had a plan, not a fully baked one, but also the goal that I had in mind did not need the coordination and specifics required for storming Peach's Winter Palace. So when I had my fill of a corn hole tournament I attended I decided to find a nearby theatre to enjoy the flick I wanted to see. The closest place was this one--- Regal Garden Grove. And I have to say that this place challenged my attendance instead of facilitating it. I did not buy my ticket before going to the place. However, I did see on the Flixster app that this movie was being played almost at 30 minute intervals throughout the day so whatever time I got there I would almost be guaranteed a ticket. So when I got there, it was close to 3:30 p.m. I entered, and discovered that they had a box office, of course, but no one was working it. The box office was a relic, apparently the advent of buying tickets online and other forms of technology made its purpose obsolete. So I entered and I was informed that I had two options: 1) I could either buy the tickets at the concession stand 2) or at the automated screen. I saw the line at concession stand and decided to buy the tickets with the soulless and fleshless teller. But before I did, I also noticed that this place had a 4DX option. And it is important to note that I learned of this option at the theatre, not while perusing the Flixster app. I was informed that the next 4DX Mario movie was playing at 330. I could make that one, that was my preferred choice. But getting a seat in this movie was going to be a challenge like ducking fire balls and avoiding bullet bills. I went to the automated screen and saw the option to buy a Mario movie ticket and I chose a 4:00 oclock showing, I did not see the 330 p.m. 4DX option. So I got the 4:00 option recliner seat option. Then after paying the screen went back to its original screen where all movie options was shown. This is where I saw that the landing screen had two options for the Mario movie. One option showed all the available Mario movies, except the 4DX. There was a specific button (a second touch button) to buy the 4DX Mario option. So, imagine going to a touch screen at McDonald's, and wanting to buy a combo. You go to the button to chose a combo but only see regular combos. After you pay for the regular combo you see the landing screen to learn that you have touch a second touch button to buy the x-large combos, because you cant do this in the first scree. I do not know if it is just me but this is unnecessarily difficult, like having to go through a small maze to buy a ticket. I spoke to a staff member because I wanted to change my recliner seat ticket to a 4DX ticket, which could be done. It was like 340 and I was informed that the movie had 30 minutes of previews. A manager was called, twice, and still no one came. I eventually decided just to see the movie in the recliner option theatre. I was just over the wait and the lack of active courtesy. I clipped a picture of a broken and tattered Mario Galaxy framed poster on the ground. It was kind of symbolic because the movie poster all unframed and on the floor directly spoke to my experience at this place. The movie was still great, the recliner was awesome, but I am left to wonder how would I have enjoyed the movie in the manner I wanted to see it? On a last note, a fellow movie goer also had problems purchasing her ticket in the automated teller. Her credit could not be accepted. Yes, she might not have funds or a faded chip but she could not figure out how to surpass the struggle. She ask a staff member for help the, young staff member responded, "I am not clocked in yer" and walked into a door. I would have liked for her to say, I am not able to help but maybe one of my other staff members can, let me refer one to you. Yes, she was not working, yes she is young and has professional development to acquire, but courtesy from staff members should be a baseline. At least, I think. I don't know I do not want t be a Koopa about this place but I feel like they had serious obstacles for patrons to enjoy a movie.

The snack prices are outrageous, we spent 45 dollars on one small soda, one medium popcorn, and one little box of BunchaCrunch. More than twice as much as our discounted movie tickets. And they probably needed to add one more person behind the snack counter that day, line was getting pretty long - maybe that why they have super long ads before the movie so you don't miss the actual movie if you want to get a snack in this line :) Was it worth it? Probably for us, yes, as this is considered our little vacation date. If we are able to break away from our daily routine and spend time with eachother, it is well worth it. The sound was pretty loud but I loved it. Didn't like the 30++ minutes of ads before the flick. But I guess this will never change. Overall, it was a pretty good experience, for when you really need to see a certain movie on the big screen.

Concession: They still have live staff taking orders. This is a plus. Because whereas other theater has kiosk where you as a customer place your own order. That would be a drag. Prices were rough, even with a gift card, but where isn't that the case these days. The guy at the concession stand was really nice, all smiles and friendly. I don't know how they stand it back there in the heat, I'd be grumpy as hell. So shout out to him. The theater quality was the thing though: I feel like it's the exact same theater from 15-20 years ago. Same screen, same uncomfortable seats, same everything. It feels like all this particular AMC's profits go to the lobby and the specialized theaters like the IMAX and the Dolby Digital or laser whatever. The plain Jane theaters don't seem to have gotten any love in many a year. So it wasn't the most comfortable or impressive experience despite the price. I'll stick to Starlight.

The Cinema is known for it's screening of Steamboat Willie from 1928, the very first synchronized sound cartoon featuring Mickey Mouse! There are some benches that you can sit inside and watch the films. It's also air conditioned if you're looking to take a break during the summer! It's a nice place to enjoy some history and being immersed in the magic of Main Street at Disneyland! It's one of Disneyland's Hidden Gems!

I received an invoice and contract, and while the contract did state they could cancel due to weather, I was in constant communication with them all week about the rain. I sent pictures of where the setup would be, discussed the weather multiple times, and spoke with them the day before the event. They even confirmed the morning of the party at 9:26 that there would be no issues. The party was scheduled to start at 3:00 PM. At 11:20 AM that same day, I received a call from the owner's husband saying there was too much rain and they could not come out because it would compromise their equipment. This was extremely upsetting, especially since the rain forecast had been known all week and they continued to reassure and confirm up until that morning. When I expressed how upset I was and explained that this ruined my daughter's birthday plans, his response was, "Well actually, we didn't ruin it," which I found very unprofessional given the circumstances. I was so upset that I ended the call. I understand weather-related policies, but the lack of consistency, last-minute cancellation, and dismissive response made this a very disappointing experience, especially for a milestone event like a Sweet 16.

Their snack bar was well stocked, and they have a handful of arcade machines. The place is modern and clean, from the floors to the restrooms, and there's seating in the rear with a pool table and a room for birthday parties and such. On the outside it appears quite small, but they did a good job maximizing the space. More importantly though, their staff were friendly and handled our group like they do this regularly - friendly and knowledgable. We will certainly be returning in the future, and I hope you do as well. :)

We were able to get five lanes for two hours access to their both their pool tables and their hockey table and we were able to bring some outside food in to host in a little area in the back. I always seem to forget that we had a bowling alley down the street from us. It is an excellent place. If you just wanted to kill some time and I think the rates are quite reasonable, especially since the rentals are included. The services as good as can be and it's always kept clean. That said, we were a little disappointed that the seats did not recline. Since ticket prices are similar to other theaters in the area, we would probably choose to drive a little farther next time for recliner seating. My fiancé has back issues, so sitting in a non-reclining chair for the length of a movie was uncomfortable for him. On the positive side, the concession portions were huge. We ordered a popcorn, a Coke, and some candy, and we were very happy with the size and value. One thing to note is that the restrooms are located on the mezzanine level, which may not be the most convenient for everyone. Overall, the theater has a nice nostalgic atmosphere and generous concession sizes, but the seating and parking were not our favorite parts of the experience.
