With the release of the Wakanda Forever film I wanted to try a new theater outside of the city. During my search I landed on the Regal Georgian and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! Pulling up to the theater I was super excited by all the shops and eateries that surround the theater. The entire area presents a visual attraction and causes your mind to race on finding a reason to go to all the stores. LoL! When you get to the theater itself, it looks like a still shot from a movie. The outside has a trendy design of clean lines and simple add-ons. The traditional Regal look pairs well with the flow of the shopping center as a whole. Furthermore, though the look is up to date, the area puts you in the mind of "old town" living. (Think of the shopping centers you see in the Hallmark and Lifetime Holiday Movies. LoL!) It makes you just want to walk the strip as you sip on your favorite coffee or tea. (Sidenote, I love the feel of this location) I purchased my tickets online allowing me to bypass the Box Office. As I walked in I was instantly taken into Regal Movie mode as the decor and setup is the traditional look and feel of the Regal brand. Walking up to the concession stand every register was open. Though there was a lot going on the staff looked cool, calm, and presented in control of their line. The young man who helped me was awesome. Though I only ordered popcorn, water, and candy, which took all of maybe 3-4 minutes, he was able to welcome me, engage in light conversation, and thank me for coming all while not missing a beat on my order and successfully multi-tasking. It's apparent that he had a groove that works and I appreciate that. Once in the screen area (screen 7) I fell in love with the seats. LoL! They are huge and overly comfortable. To say I was cozy would be an understatement. LoL! The screen area was super clean and smelled fresh. I think everyone appreciates not having to smell old butter, old popcorn, and the remnants of the previous showing. Overall this was a truly pleasing experience. The staff. The ease of the website purchase. The fresh popcorn and the AMAZING Seats afforded me an above average movie goer experience. My only drawback is that the menu was minimal (this was 11/11/22). Outside of the popcorn and nachos, there were no other food options which seemed odd as there was a picture of a hot dog on the screen yet, there wasn't a hot dog on the menu. LoL! (can you tell I was hungry. HeHeHe) As a whole, I fully recommend you adding this location to your favorite list for when you want an outside of the city kind of moment. read more

When I first moved to Newnan in 2019, I was pleasantly surprised to find we had this great theater in the local area. From COVID after, this theater took a sharp dive in quality, described below: 1. Picture is dark all 3 times I went recently. 2. Picture is blurry. Can't even make out actors faces. It seems worse than standard definition. 3. AC was not on one time and I had to leave and ask for my money back. 4. Sound is front centric (little to no sound from side speakers). 5. When I saw Deadpool 3, the sound, on top of everything above, was VERY blown out. Couldn't understand a word of anyone talking is low or gruff voice. 6. The staff don't close the doors to the theater so the light just radiates from the hallway, into the screen. It's sad this theater has become so unenjoyable. read more

My husband and I went to go see Despicable Me 4 this evening for the 7:15 showing. VERY unpleasant experience. When we purchased our tickets, the gentleman didn't even tell us which theater to go to. Once we get to our seats, they were incredibly cracked and it felt like there was no cushion. You could feel the metal in the seat. And the WORST part of the experience, the movie was turned on in 3d. Keep in mind this was supposed to be a standard showing so we did not get glasses, resulting in the movie being blurry the ENTIRE time. read more

This theater is pretty clean and it was not a large number of people when we went to the movie showing tonight. The customer service was not bad a lot of younger maybe teens working which is great for them. This movie theater has your standard snacks (popcorn, nachos, fountain drinks). The incline seats are fairly comfortable and the picture quality is good. The only thing is that the restaurant options are very limited if you're going to see a movie later in the evening. Everything closes pretty late with the exception of Taco Mac and a few other restaurants. All in all pretty clean and nice movie theater in Newnan. read more

This place has gone down. The bathrooms smell like urine and toilet paper on the floor. The popcorn was cold. They premade the popcorn and put it in a glass case that I am assuming is to hear it. Not working well. The seats are torn up (8, E8). The drink selection sucks. No popcorn seasoning. A nonchalant worker. Doesn't take cash. Never again. For Newnan to have so many nice places around, this place doesn't fit. So sad. read more

I really don't understand their staffing concept on weekends. Also if the cashier makes a mistake not charging the customer the right product (small drink charged but wanted a medium) just give them the size they want and take the .50 cent loss. I've been going to this movie theater since moving to Ga 8 years ago. The service has taken a huge nose dive over the last two years. First I get over charged for a small bottle of water, and then the pretzel I ordered didn't come out after 10 minutes. I watched an employee drop the pretzel to the floor and placed it in the trash can, the manager takes it out of the trash and places it on the counter. Gross. $50 for three large drinks and three medium popcorns (they were out of large) and $42 for three tickets. Almost $100 dollars to see a movie.... These are the only straw available. Updating my review.... While they have upgraded the screen rooms with leather recliners and larger rows, the concession area is grossly neglected. During the last two times I was here in the last two weeks, there was abominable smell of rotten eggs that permeated the entire front area.Some of the theaters also smelled of rotten trash. Somehow we had lived in the area over a year before we checked out this theater. Admittedly, there wasn't a plethora of great films to see in 2017, and we literally had to drive by another much-closer theater to get here, so those factors may have been in play. We ended up seeing a couple of movies here on successive weekends in April. We enjoyed it both times. The theater has the recliner-type seating, which has some advantages. We didn't get anything from the concession stand. Parking here is in a lot shared with all the other businesses in Ashley Park. It is generally crowded, but expansive. You'll eventually find a spot. My advice is to go around behind the theater, as there appear to be more / closer spaces available there. You then just have to enter via a walkway between the theater and the adjoining restaurant, or whatever. Another potential advantage is that you can get a meal before or after the show in the same plaza; they have a ton of options. read more

I've attached a photo of how bad customer service is here. My wife and I took our 2 grand sons to see "Doolittle". First off I drop $100 there for the 4 of us between the tickets and snacks. No wonder no one goes to the theater anymore. But let's back up a little. When we get there the ticket booth outside is closed with a sign that says to go to concessions for tickets. Ok. I can do that. The concession has 2 people working to support all the people in the photo that I've attached. I ordered tickets online for 5 of us. Myself, daughter and 3 grandchildren. This was for the movie Frozen 2. We entered to find our seats taken, this after I paid $50 for tickets and spent over $45 at concession. We had to find an employee to assist us, and after a very stressed Grandmother (me) who was very vocal about our experience with this movie theater..... up walks the Manager. I do not remember her name unfortunately but she was very attentive and tried her best to calm me. The female manager working today at 2pm did an outstanding job fixing the issues so we could sit back and relax watching the movie. She earned 5 stars , Thank you! read more

If you want a theater that gives you the comforts of home then this is your place. I searched long and hard trying to find a theater that wasn't sold out for Avengers. Thank goodness for Fandango because along with wanting to see that particular movie I needed to be comfortable. I chose this one because they have Leather recliner seats. As in leather comfortable living room type chairs. Once you have this type of experience its hard going back to a regular movie theater. This spot also has no carpet. The flooring inside the theater is laminate flooring made to look like wood floors. Hence easy to clean up and not the pungent dirty carpet smell. I loved this location because its in the middle of everything. You really don't have to go outside of this area for anything. There is so much to do on this end of Newnan it is unbelievable. The outside of the theater has a nice outdoor water fountain in the middle of a circle surrounded by metal park benches. I sat out there for the longest people watching even after the movie was over. read more

Writing this review as I'm about to ditch the concession line after 30 minutes as I have to decide between getting my popcorn and missing the start of the new Star Wars movie. You folks are understaffed and as a result losing a ton of concession money as I've seen at dozens of people leave the long lines to just see their movies. The idea of selling tickets and having people chose their seats in the same line as the concessions is terrible....the average time for a popcorn refill is 13 minutes. The employees have to perform too many tasks at each line which is an obvious drag on efficiency. This place sucks and the popcorn is chewy cardboard. And buy your tickets on line please....I missed the first 15 minutes of Star Wars and will require professional counseling to cope!!! read more

I was looking forward to sharing a Dumbo movie with my grand children at this theater. However, when we went to our seats, I found a filthy theater, not cleaned. The floor was littered with food and debris from the patrons before us. A children's movie should be especially cleaned . The volume was a health hazard. Must be more interested in profit than pride and concern for the community. Since my last review I have visited this theater three times yesterday we stood in line for 25 min. This is the most inefficiently designed concession I have ever seen, One popcorn machine was open and required the server to go back behind the machine to get popcorn, where only one at a time could operate the space. There were approximately 40 people in line with three registers open. As I came in I saw the manager standing around. They have other machines not in use, this tells me they would have to hire more employees to work the concession. It's a cluster and so inefficient, if you like standing in line just remember, it's the norm not the exception. It's a nice theater with great potential, I wish Regal Execs would take a closer look at this location because this is very fixable and very unnecessary. Well! Here we are again, schools are out for the thanksgiving week and this theater has one guy selling tickets checking you in and selling concessions. this is beyond anything I have seen in any business. Regal Newnan has really went downhill fast. Very poor customer service. Waiting to get tickets & concessions takes forever now that it's all done inside. This place has gone way downhill in the past few years. I love that I can choose my seats, buy my tickets in advance and that the seats recline. But they are way under staffed, the staff is rude and don't care about customer service. However We've waited 30+ minutes at the concession stand. My nine year old still can't see the whole screen (the wall dividing each level blocks his view) Doors were not unlocked after posted open time, staff inside wouldn't acknowledge the 5 people that were gathered outside waiting. Popcorn has been stale. Overhead lights were left on for movie until I went to find someone which took forever. It's been uncomfortably warm in the theater during multiple movies. Theater is always dirty. People vape during movies. It's just really unfortunate because it wasn't always this bad. It's so expensive to go to the movies, it's not too much to ask to walk into a clean comfortable theater with enough customer service friendly employees to make your experience enjoyable. After waiting in a long line at concessions, once we got to the register we were told (along with everyone in our line) to simply get in the back of one the other long lines! Came here on a rainy day almost 30 minutes before my movie and a fire alarm went off. I had already ordered my nachos by then and I had to wait outside in the cold with others, -which I didn't mind but what I did mind was when I asked for the cheese to be reheated or replaced because it had gotten cold, I received the worst attitude by one of your employees. Never have I seen such poor customer service for simply wanting my food to be reheated or replaced. It was not my fault that the fire alarm went off, so I didn't quite understand why I received such an attitude. After today, I will not be coming back to this cinema and neither will my friends. Very nice movie theater. While the kids were school shopping with their grandmother, hubby and I took a trip to the movies. power reclining oversized seats are so comfortable. Standard theater fare, but the armrests fold up so you can cuddle with your movie friends! The tall chairs are very comfortable, and this theater makes a nice stop for a date in Ashley Park. I typically don't buy food at theaters, so I can't comment on that, but they have the usual options, and I'm sure it's at the usual prices. My only complaint was having to wait in line for so long. The one person running the register was having complications with someones purchase, and a manager came over to help, but it still took them about 7-8 minutes to resolve the issue. Once it was resolved, the manager did open up another window to help others waiting (quite a line had accumulated during the wait). Theaters tend to be modestly staffed at noon (I was there for a 12:30 showing), but I was surprised the manager wasn't able to call someone from inside to help with the line. Granted, I was running late for my movie, and I was feeling impatient. I totally own up to how that colored my perspective. My family's been going to this theater since it opened, back when it was "the new theater" in town. It's still nicer than the one by Junction Lanes, and it still has that touch of glamor for us.
