This theater gives a more grandiose feel to a movie theater experience. You walk inside and there's two levels with a long escalator leading you up to the second floor.

The staff here is very kind. I went with my baby in a stroller and ordered popcorn and two drinks so my hands were too full to carry all those items alone. The kind staff member escorted me from the concession stand all the way to the auditorium. They were so accommodating and kind! I will be back.

Clean theater--my only reason for the one star is the description says reclining seats which is the reason we went with this theater. The seats DO NOT recline. It sounds stuck up, I know, but I pay the monthly subscription for the Regal pass and choose the reclining seats for medical reasons.

went to this theater for the first time to take my daughter and her friend to see minecraft movie. This movie theater looks like an abandoned building..inside and outside, and there's no table on the seat to put your food on. I know I bought a regular standard ticket, but I'd rather go to somewhere else where the standard tickets also is the same price and has reclining seat and table as well.

First time at regal live oak! Good overall experience! Theater was clean, staff was helpful! Popcorn was the best! Nothing like theater popcorn!

This theater has been consistently present to showcase the latest and greatest movies to its community. It's an older venue that has gone through some reno's but does not carry all the bells, whistles, and services as some of its nearby competitors. That said I routinely come here if I want a peaceful experience to watch the latest blockbusters in peace and uncrowded setting. I purchased my tickets over the net, via fandango the day prior. There was an option to purchase directly through Regal, but for whatever reason their site wasn't available. I picked our seats, and received tickets to my email and phone. I confirmed my tickets at concessions. Devlin was patient, informative and provided great customer service with our popcorn and Icee drinks. Pepsi products at this location folks. The auditorium was clean, and the seats were comfy. I'll be coming back again, as I have since this location opened more than 15yrs now.

The only things Live Oak has going for it is the fact that its a seven minute drive from my house and that due to it having so many screens, some movies stick around pretty long. 90% of the time I'm still going to make the 20-25 minute drive to the Huebner or Northwoods locations. Besides the other two boasting recliners, things just always run smoother. At Live Oak I know I have to get there 20 minutes before a film because the concession line is always running slow. I was in a 4 person line for 26 minutes a couple weeks ago and it literally felt like the blind leading the blind. I've gotten burnt popcorn and bags of straight crumbs before and when I've made my way back to concessions, been told they were going to charge for a refill or that I'd need to purchase a new bag, very disappointing. The clean up between screenings isn't the best, I've literally had a flat sucked off of my foot, stuck in a puddle of something sticky. Shudder. Live Oak really is a last resort for me, wish they'd go ahead and upgrade.

Not that great of a movie theater. Very pricey. Ordered red wine and paid $8 for two ounce wine. Two sips and it's gone. $5 for water. No wonder people can't afford to go to the theater. Next tidiness we go to Alamo draft house. L

I can't not love this theater. After moving to the SA 'burbs over 10 years ago, this was THE place to see movies--meaning THE only place haha. But I can't help but love coming here to kick back and catch a flick. Sign up for Regal Rewards to earn prizes (though tbh it takes forever to earn enough!!!). This isn't the most glamorous theater but it gets the job done. There are many showings and multiple theater rooms. I don't think I've ever gone here and been told a show is sold out. Plus they have Cheetos popcorn and who can resist that??? The seats are comfortable, but I'll be the first to say that we've been spoiled with theaters that have reclining seats. Whenever I come here, I'm reminded of going to the movies as a high schooler: screamlaughing at Scott Pilgrim vs. The World with my homies. Seeing my friend get verbally annihilated by a middle aged woman for talking during Dear John. Watching Rush Hour 3 with my family after moving back to America from the UK. I love it here!

Been going here for years. Prices are on par with other theaters. Lines for food take quite awhile.

I should get a discount for the 20 min I am waiting to order my popcorn. And then another discount for the dirty floor and theater. Gross

It doesn't hurt that it's in the back yard of Texas Roadhouse, so dinner and a movie go hand in hand.

The bar selection is quite full as well, with all types of wine, beer, and cocktails. We ended up doing axe throwing (a great stress reliever) and playing a lot of the games. This place has the system where your winning points are stored to a card, like Dave and Busters, and one guy in our group had a good 10,000 points on it. Some of the points were from an awesome victory of knocking over a coin tower on that game that takes more patience than I have to get all the coins at the edge. Sadly, he left his card behind on accident, which ended up getting stolen. The great news is the staff handled it quickly. They were able to transfer his points to another card before it was used and gave him free movie and food vouchers. What outstanding customer service! I will have to return for some bowling, and it looks like they have virtual reality activities as well. The prices seem pretty reasonable compared to several of the competitors. I can't wait to come back for great food and customer service!

A friend of mine briefly worked here and experienced harassment almost immediately from another employee. It spread around the entire work place. The employee went to HR first to make complaints about workplace gossip that they had started. To my knowledge, they faced no consequences for their actions. HR was supposed to contact my friend and they told me they were never contacted or had the situation resolved properly. Meanwhile, my friend was sent home multiple times simply because they were scheduled to work at the same time as the other employee. Rather than holding the person responsible accountable, it seemed like my friend was the one being penalized. Eventually, they stopped scheduling my friend altogether without any clear communication. If an employee is being terminated, they should at least be informed instead of being left wondering why they are no longer receiving shifts. It's very concerning to me that employee who allegedly caused the issues remains employed while my friend was effectively pushed out.

Unfortunately, they hold this event once a year, at 4:30am on a Friday. You gotta get up EARLY, or the lines get so long. It's amazing how many people will line up for free tacos in San Antonio! They need to label their lines better. I jumped in the shortest looking line, and found out that it was for coffee and not food. Oh well, the coffee was from a local coffee place. There was a band playing live music for the lines of people. There were all kinds of vendors out here pushing their products and giving away swag. Parking is a mob scene. I advise you to try to find a spot on the edges, so you don't get trapped in. Parking was absolute chaos, with people getting blocked in by people not knowing how to park.
