This is a *massive* liquor store that carries just about anything you could possibly want, and that…read moreapplies to beer, wine, liquor, tonics, ciders, cordials, mixers, apéritifs, and pretty much everything else in the wide-world of adult beverages. I'm a bourbon/Old Fashioned drinker, and this store sells three different brands of maraschino cherries/bourbon cherries, which is truly outstanding, when you consider that very few liquor stores carry any maraschino cherries at all. Now, keep in mind that you're pretty much on-your-own in this huge store. I've been shopping here for over 10 years, and not once has anyone ever asked me if I need help finding anything (and there have been times when I did). This is the "Home Depot" of liquor stores, and in that sense, you'd better know what you want, and you'd better know where to find it. No one's going to ask you. If you don't know where to find what you're looking for, be prepared to wander the aisles for a while until you do. In terms of selection, Luke's just can't be beat. You'll eventually find whatever it is you came for. Just remember to bring a healthy dose of "retail independence" when you go.

I know Guinness, and I know when it's off. I saved 5 of the cans and brought it back to Lukes. They called manager CJ to exchange the 8-pack out for fresh stuff. CJ refused and asked me for my receipt, which, of course, I didn't have. He said, sorry, I can't help you. Company policy. I told him to toss them in the trash. What a sham. Do better, Lukes! This kid will ruin your business, Mr. Luke. Talk to him and explain common sense! You risk losing my wife and I, which is $5K per year, and everyone I tell about this, for $14 (my cost). Geeez.

When I arrived at this location I was greeted by workers on the side of building smoking cigarettes and god only knows what else and their friends who look like they just got out of jail or rehab? When inside the same workers are now making my sandwich. Great!! Sandwich is now made, I hope it does not taste like an ashtray. When paying the woman at the register had maybee 3 or 4 teeth and would not shut up about how she knows a guy who makes moonshine in his garage. I had a winning scratch ticket for $20 and lady only gave me $10 back. Honest mistake? Maybee too much moonshine? Anyways I made it out alive! Seriously where is the camera crew for this place! The sandwich was just ok and my beer was expired and tasted like pennies. Overall a 1 star experience! read more

You are not allowed to make a complaint or better yet a suggestion at this establishment. The owner takes it very personal and his fragile ego gets hurt. They should be ashamed of themselves and how they treat paying customers. I get the vibe they have a sense of entitlement because their father built a business and handed it to them. Classic case of a business that used to be good and second generation flushing it down the toilet with their pompous attitude. read more

The tuna was pretty good, with a reasonably seasoned fish and not too much mayo. The sourdough was toasted and held up well. The butterscotch cookie was fairly chewy and soft, though perhaps a tad too sweet for my taste. Check-in on Yelp and you'll get a free "pastry", so I can't complain too much with a free cookie. With a sandwich, free cookie, and a drink, I paid nearly $10, which wasn't too bad with the cookie. The decor is clean and a bit cutesy, without it inducing a vomiting posture. Like many writers here, the wait time is longer than other equivalent places. Fortunately I didn't have any more pressing matters that day, so I could afford a check on fb...or two checks.

If you call ahead, they will get everything packed for you, which is great if you are in a hurry. I strongly recommend this as it seems they are often short staffed and the wait can be long. I've tried their short ribs, lobster raviolis, chicken piccata, house made chicken fingers, cheese pizza, mac and cheese, kale and veggie dumplings, quinoa cakes, toasted broccoli and yukon mashed potatoes. Most of the items we have tried are fine, with the short ribs and mashed potatoes being the favorite for the family and friends. The one component that is missing from this dish is a sauce. It is sold "dry" so if you want a nice sauce or gravy to drizzle over the ribs and potatoes, be prepared to make it yourself. The cheese pizza was the biggest disappointment -- just not good. Their mashed potatoes and chicken fingers are also good. Their menu does not change much. This may be good for some as I am sure there are some fan favorites on the menu, but a little variety would be much appreciated. My biggest concern with this place is that it can be very inconsistent. I bought chicken piccata twice -- first was good, the second tasted off (like one of the ingredients was not quite fresh and it made the entire dish bad). Each time, I purchased two or three and not all of the ones I purchased had that strange taste (I think it was the capers -- a batch must have been past its prime.) Now, I've been there and have seen the staff assemble some of the entrees. The last time I saw them preparing chicken piccata, starting with frozen chicken breast. I can't vouch for whether these were prepared a head of time on location or whether they were purchased but it made me wonder "hmmmm..." Everything (unless you hit it at the right time) is frozen and can take a long time to re-heat (many up to an hour plus). While the convenience of not having to prep and cook is appealing on many occasions, I have reservations of the long reheating times, the inconsistencies of the food quality and lack of variety at this place.
