We drove to NJ so I could see "Annie Hall," reminiscent of when I originally lived in Manhattan. Our tickets were surprisingly cheap. "I think they're priced the same as when the film originally came out," the ticket-seller said. A nice tribute to Diane Keaton! It seems management took patrons' advice and remedied all the wrongs I saw posted. The concession stand was bustling and everyone appeared satisfied. The bathrooms were clean, as was the theater. I expected seats to be one level in Theater 19, which only accommodates 84 people. I was happy to see it was designed like larger theaters with stadium seating up the stairs. What struck me odd were the seats themselves. The original one I chose had some 'give,' forcing me to lean back when I like to sit straight up. I tried a few different seats which all had that feature to some degree. Finally settled in, a fellow sat next to me and I realized the seats were closer together than they should be, so I moved. All that seat-testing for nothing! Would I come to this theater again? Sure! The movie screen was big, I like the staff, there's plenty of parking and I ran errands afterwards at the mall across the street. read more

This theatre is severely dated and its apparent as soon as you walk in. Recently purchased tickets online, went to the theatre to be greeted by the most disgusting cloth seats ever. I generally go to Regal cinemas which has leather seats but figured I would try amc since they had 25% off ticket deals but now I realize why they were discounted. The outside looks great and inside, it's not a bad layout. Ordered popcorn and drinks for pickup which was right on time. The drinks were pretty much all watered down and I tried 3 different machines. I can't blame them because it's so late but I was also surprised the syrups weren't filled. Came here to see a movie in theatre 8 and it was the typical movie seats that are good enough to sit in for a movie. Laser AMC wasn't much of a difference to me but it was still enjoyable. When the movie was over, the theatre was visibly dirty. There was a pool of liquid, plenty of popcorn all over the floor near our seats. All in all, this wasn't the worst experience, but not quite the best. I'd probably return to my local AMC at the fashion district in Philly next time read more

I was here maybe 4ish years ago and this theater was pretty nice. I don't even know that it was that long ago. However tonight I returned and I'm pretty sure this is just an abandoned building that they are showing movies in. The bathroom looks like it was underwater at some point. Everything is water damaged. The floor is slick with piss. They have the slowest concession servers I've ever seen put popcorn in a bucket. We got there early and there were only about 5 people in front of me. After 15 minutes and only two people being served I just got out of line. I thought hey maybe those people were just being complicated. The people right behind me were in the same theater as me. They missed all the previews and a little bit of the movie. It reminded me of the old 69th street theater where everyone talked and texted. Everything is sticky and the seats are uncomfortable. I saw the Batman three times in three different theaters this weekend and this was by far the worst. I think it even more striking because I remember how it was. The glory days are over. This theater is dichotomy. When I go on the weekends it seems well run and I can easily find someone in customer service and they are helpful. If I go during the week, there's no one working there and the ones I do find there seem like they don't want to be there (I had one tell me I should go to a different theater). I believe the main problem is AMC is close to bankruptcy so they can't really afford to stay open during the week, but can't afford to close either. As such your experience at the theater will depend on when you go and to what screen. The primary reasons to go to this theater are the Dolby and IMAX screens with their reclining seats. There's no reason to go here if you aren't seeing one of those formats as the non-premium screens are old, dirty (sticky) and fairly uncomfortable compared to the premium screens. Unfortunately the IMAX and Dolby screens tend to have smudges or screen damage. These eventually get fixed, but they keep coming back. As of writing this the Dolby screen has 3 visible "dents" in it. Other issues: 1. Online food ordering doesn't work. I'm told they shut it off when busy, but it's almost always off even when no one is at the theater. 2. Bathroom frequently out of soap and/or paper towels. 3. The theater needs to be cleaned. 4. Everything is really expensive. Maybe things will turn around when AMC declares bankruptcy in 2024 or 2025, but I'm not expecting it to get better. Honestly, if you aren't an A-List subscriber or you don't watch IMAX/Dolby there's no reason to go here. read more

I tend to go here out of convenience. Easy access from Philadelphia and only 10 minutes from home, this location has ample parking and usually a good showing selection. Convenience is pretty much the only perk though. It's very dated inside with older bathrooms, dirty theaters, and slow service at both the ticket booth and at the concessions. read more

This movie theater is a dump. All the money it costs to take a date to the movies, and this is what she sees? Ive never been so embarrassed in my entire life. I would rather i watch a movie on my phone than come back to this movie theater. I got tickets for CHRISTMAS DAY to see nosferatu, and THIS was our christmas date. I can not tell you enough how NASTY of a movie theater this is. However, this particular establishment needs GRAVE oversight to bring it to form. The seats are absolutely filthy(either wet or stained with food)and I had to search throughout the theatre for almost 5 minutes to find any that suitable. The concession stand looked dejected as the lights were all off and didn't even appear to be operational. It wasn't until AFTER the movie when a concession stand attendant was found and the lights were still off with boxes stacked everywhere(food and health hazard). Expensive too! We had popcorn, nachos and cheesy pretzels. The seats are stadium style and comfortable. There aren't tracking seats at this location. Overall the theater was fairly lean. The bathrooms are clean, well stocked and have lots of stalls. We got there about 10 minutes before the show. No need to hurry because there were 35 minutes of previews! I don't mind some previews but this was excessive! All in all it was a good experience! read more

OK I guess a movie theater is a movie theater however, this one could use an upgrade. In this day and age most theaters are very modern with great seats and sound. This particular theater seems to be stuck in the 90s. I will say the upside, for the most part the theater was very clean, the staff was friendly and everything appeared very organized. Being organized is a very good trait considering most AMC theaters are very unorganized, short staffed and many of the food options are often unavailable. Normally I would go to an AMC theater in Pennsylvania however the particular movie Amazing Grace the Aretha Franklin documentary wasn't showing in a theater close to me. That's somewhat disappointing considering I have the AMC A/list benefit that costs me $20 a month and driving around to chase a movie is not the most convenient. read more

The exterior of the building and entrance is covered in stains and needs to be power washed. The lobby floors are sticky from soda spills. The popcorn and snack bar service is not movie theater quality. The popcorn itself is bland and served room temperature (not warm or hot), there is very little seasoning on the popcorn. The butter flavor dispensers work but are sometimes empty in the middle of the day. Some of the self service soda machines are broken and out of service. The theater trash cans are overflowing with trash even before the afternoon movie begins. read more

Never again. I went to see the Ghost Rite Here Rite Now movie, which was only in theaters for 4 days. After 20 minutes of previews they started showing the wrong movie, and so 15 minutes in when we realized it was the wrong movie, a group of us went to complain. Eventually they moved us into a different theater with the people who were going to see the second show time and if someone had the seat for that time, they made us who were there for the earlier show time move (actually, more accurately, someone heard that was the policy, because there was absolutely no direction from any staff members). On top of that, the theater lacked appropriate air conditioning on a 102° day, so it was sweltering hot throughout the entire 2.5 hour movie. I will never see a movie at this theater ever again. No wonder nobody goes to the movies anymore. read more

We had 7:15 movie pre-purchased tickets, When we entered the kid at the ticket counter wouldn't scan our tickets from our phone but after 15 minutes he finally allowed us in. 2. The Dolby Cinema and IMAX Laser screens are the only reasons to come to this multiplex. The remaining 22 theaters have ratty, old, non-reclining seats from the days when this was a Loews. The bathrooms and concession areas are usually filthy and overflowing with trash. It would be easy to blame those things solely on the patrons BUT this theater seems understaffed at all times which compounds the issues. The exterior needs a power wash and landscaping. Almost everything about this theater is second or third rate which would be okay if the prices were low. The prices are premium level, however, which only make the shortcomings of this theater all the more glaring. read more

This theater redeems itself with its premium large format theaters. In fact, this is the ONLY AMC I have ever been to that has an IMAX with RECLINERS! WHAAAAAT?! So, yes, the actually movie experience was stellar. Everything else? Not so much. The location is not in the nicest of neighborhoods. And when you arrive, it definitely feels a bit outdated/run-down. The lack of enthusiasm from many employees further exacerbates this, as many were resting in common areas/did not seem to want to be there. Plus mobile order did not work (I had to just grab my water bottle from the fridge myself). Additionally, there was a bit of an issue when two patrons were sitting in my assigned seat. Their tickets did not even have my seat, but they ASSURED me that these were their seats and that the system glitched and gave them the wrong seats. This was the first time I ever experienced this, and it could be a fault of either the employees or the customers. I would only see myself returning to this theater for the Dolby or IMAX auditoriums. Those and the A-List participation make this theater one that I wouldn't necessarily dismiss. But for non-premium movies? Might be best to go to a more updated location. read more
