Not only the Woodhaven location, but AMC in general seems to have taken a extreme downturn. With the lack of staff at the front and online or kiosk purchases only. Coupled with the outrageous ticket & concession pricing really makes going OUT to the movies far more disappointing than it was in the past. That said, of all of the AMC's in the area, Woodhaven is the only one worth visiting. At least the seats are in good condition and the bathrooms are always thoroughly cleaned. Disappointed today when we went in to see wicked - the entire hall leading to the theater was full of boxes, a literal obstacle course to get to our theater. Another issue with today's viewing was other movie goers being impolite on their phones during the film. I asked the girl concessions if she could go in and say something, but no one ever came. In the past, they had staff to monitor the theaters. Three stars for this review - with room for improvement, if more staff were added to take ticket orders, relieve the lines for concessions, as well as some to monitor the theatres during movies. read more

Came here to watch Barbie last weekend! I love this theater because it's close by and his big recliner seats. I haven't been here in a while so I was disappointed to see the seats were peeling. In terms of food, they ran out of chicken tenders and the nachos were bagged chips with a cup of queso. It's not what I expected especially since in the past, they were in a box with toppings. I got the Mac and cheese balls and also dip n dot ice cream - they were good! Tickets were $13.33/ticket after taxes and fees - this was for a Saturday 2 PM show. I thought this was a bit pricier than it should have been. I probably would come back but maybe when they do the $5 ticket prices. read more

Went to the early screening of Superman and not only were we lied to that this was a 3D screening, but the 3D movie was totally messed up! Basically the background was misaligned and flashing (even with the glasses) and was a serious concern for my girlfriend who has seizures. We were in the theater for 20 minutes before we got fed up with waiting and found a manager. She was completely uninterested in our concerns and offered to give us a partial refund with a gift card. I recently came here to see Top Gun - Maverick (great movie and I recommend you see it). Anyway, the AMC Woodhaven 10 was quite nice since I don't even remember the last time I was in a movie theatre. My friend bought the tickets but said there weren't any difficulties with the process. You actually pick your specific seats that are available for the showing you want. We went to a matinee so there was a 30% discount in the price. I don't know if the discount fluctuates based on the showing time, or how long the movie has been out or what, but 30% is a decent discount. There were a handful of people seeing our show, but even buying the tickets the night before still had center middle seats available for the four of us. Surprise to me - all seats are big comfortable leather recliners with cup holders! This is almost like home. And the way they are arranged, even if someone is in front of you they probably will not block your view. The movie screen is huge but not IMAX, and the sound system was awesome. I was quite pleased to see how clean the theatre was including the lobby areas. The concessions were as expensive as ever, but we still bought some popcorn and soda from the infinite Coke machine. I was told there is even a bar for alcohol. The bathroom was also quite clean. My back was "soaked" from the leather recliner by the end of the movie, but the air conditioning worked. Overall, I had a great time doing something I hadn't done in years. Nice date afternoon out with my wife and friends. Love to come back. read more

This is my go to theater whenever I go to the movies, which is rarely. This is one of the theaters that have the comfy reclining seats which are assigned. I love AMC theaters because they also have military discounts with ID which makes the price of the ticket lower, they give you the senior rate with your ID which is a pretty good deal. Tuesdays are only 5 bucks if you have a Stubs card and that's a steal! you can even see new movies for only 5 dollars!! and the matinee prices are good as well, only 6.50 to see a movie during matinee hours. Do not go here. Bad customer service. Was refused drinks 3 adults. One 48 yrs. old 2 in their 70's. The 48 year old ordered 2 beers, one for himself the other for a 75 year old in a wheelchair going to see A Complete Unknown movie. When asked for all three of our I'ds the 48 year old did not have his wallet. We were then told...We could not be served because the one without ID ordered the 2 beers... We were all standing together... I stated the other two had ID we were then told it did not matter. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he (Justin) was the manager. The whole movie theater is too cold all year around. You need to bring in a heavy blanket. Although your nose and hands are cold. You can wear a mask over your face and wear gloves. I had to find the young manager and tell him to make my theater warmer. At that time, I am missing my movie by find him. He barely answered me when I told him. Went to the movie theatre last night for a 8:00 show. Concession stand and theatre were clean but restrooms were disgusting. Most stalls could not be used due to filth. Toilet paper all over and toilets not flushable. Trash receptacles overflowing. My husband experienced the same conditions in the men's room. Totally unacceptable read more

So happy to be back! I've missed the theaters so much during quarantine. I love all the initiatives AMC is tasking to enforce social distancing. The theater serves a very low capacity of guests. I think myself and one other family was in the movie room that I was in. Another precaution taken that I really enjoyed was the contactless pouring for the soda machine. Clean bathrooms. The recliners are very comfortable but don't go back very far. I have AMC A-list and my only problem with this theater is that when the line is extremely long and I stand in the priority line, I never get helped. I just get ignored. So I do not get that benefit of alist, but overall this location is very nice and has a full bar as an added bonus. I came here over the weekend to see War For the Planet of the Apes. My party of 4 purchased tickets online for the 10:30 am showing on Saturday. Since it was a matinee the tickets were only $6.99 each. We were seated in the center of the 3rd row which was nice but we were still a little too close to the sceen. Even with the seats reclined completely back it was still too close. This was ultimately my error since I choose these seats. The theater was clean and empty-just the way I like it. It does get busy later in the day and in the evenings. There is a bar inside too! So if you show up early and are looking to kill time you can stop at the bar for a drink. read more

AMC didn't inform me that my credit card expired after being a member for 3 years, so they cancelled my account , and are asking 20% more to rejoin a few days later. Customer Service could care less if I never came back to AMC again. Mariah the customer service manager could not wait to get me off the phone. This is my go to movie theater near my house. They have the nice reclining seats but their prices still seem lower than other places. It's not a big theater but it's nice. Bathrooms always seems ok, which most movie theater bathrooms are not. I'm actually going to go ahead and say it's worth the trip up from the city for a main-stream film every now and then! It's located just a turn off 95! It's so easy to get to during off times! I find myself here on Tuesdays taking advantage of their $5 movie tickets with a Stubs membership. It's free and easy to apply for one online. Grab these tickets fast though, as you can imagine they're a hot commodity. The best thing about this theater is the super comfy reclining seats you reserve in advance by number. They are clearly marked HP seats available and if you look closely at the seating chart you'll seat two that connect, which are perfect for snuggling with your mate or you babies! We bring blankets now for extra comfort as the theater is very chilly. It's like watching in the comfort of your own home this way! The lines for the concessions can be long, but they always move swiftly. They have all your standards, as well as some appreciated healthy options like granola bras and those snap pea crisps. I personally love their ice haha The staff, from the concessions to the person taking your tickets are all super friendly. The theater is clean and so are the restrooms. A visit here has always been super enjoyable. A real joy. There's a pizza shop in the same complex if you need a bigger bite to eat, a TJ Maxx for some shopping, and a pet store too. This theatre is located in a strip mall next to Home Depot. Came here for the first time today after visiting Parx Casino and it was a pleasant experience. They have the reclining seats, which are SUPER comfortable. You can purchase food here but there are no servers because this isn't a dine-in theatre. Very clean, nice staff, and good selection of drinks and food. Drinks are self-serve so you can help yourself to refills (which means you can save some money by purchasing the smaller cups). I would definitely come back here. The only downfall is the parking! read more

Being an AMC Premiere member for 1.5 years, AMC movie theaters are my first choice (except for independent movies only shown in selected cinemas). I visited many non-AMC theaters before I purchased the AMC membership and the comparison made me stay with AMC. I've been exploring AMC theaters in the larger Philadelphia area recently and found many of them are better managed than other theaters. Woodhaven 10 is one of those theaters with those comfortable and spacious reclining seats, which is a big factor when I select movie theaters. Yes, the tickets are more expensive than that of traditional seats as a result of fewer seats in one screen, but the assigned seat policy allows me to secure my seats as I prefer purchasing tickets ahead of time. I find it worthwhile most of the time. My partner and I watched "All the Money in the World" this weekend at Woodhaven 10. The screen room was small with only 5 rows of seats, but its comfort level and cleanness were above average. The lady's room was clean with plenty of supply (e.g. paper seats, toilet papers, paper towels), showing that theater is well maintained. Overall, I had a great movie experience at Woodhaven 10. It's a cute and comfortable theater, probably the only limitations are the size of this theater and the lack of advanced movie formats. read more

I don't plan on ever seeing movies in any theater besides this one. This new theater is the nicest option we have near North East Philly. They have the new reclining La-Z-Boy style seats, and the first row even has tables for your snacks. Despite having larger seats, the theater didn't try to pack them in. In fact, the seats are quite spread out, and there's a few secluded areas with only 2-3 seats. No more fighting over an arm rest with strangers. However, this does mean that there are less tickets available for each showing, and when you do purchase a ticket, you specify which seat your in (unlike theaters such as Neshaminy where you sit wherever). While I've never had a problem getting a ticket, I suggest buying them in advance so you can pick great seats. The theater is new, so everything is still clean and well taken care of. The lobby is welcoming, and has a great snack station, clean bathrooms and a bar. It's never been too crowded when I come, but as more people learn about it, I am started to see more attendees. Hopefully they can keep these high standards once this place is packed all the time. read more

An not exactly sure why they are pouring the butter for the popcorn on the pretzel bites either.... it's gross!!! This will be the last time I come to this dump.I've been a customer here for a long time and it's a complete disaster in the past two years. Sad. Thursday night show with not many people in the theater and a huge line forms at the concessions.There must of been a popcorn fight earlier with the amount of popcorn all over the counters and floor.Both ICEE machines were down.That is three flavors on each.So six icee dispensers all disabled!! This is by far my favorite movie theater in the area. They have the new reclining seats that are SO SO comfy. & you pick our seat prior to the movie, soo you don't have to worry about "getting a bad seat." If everything is taken you can just choose to see the movie another day. This location also has a bar inside of it now too, so you can order a drink and head into your movie. I definitely will not go to any other theater in the area besides Woodhaven. This is the best around and I highly suggest it to everyone! read more
