Really enjoy the theater. It is a no bells and whistles location with seats that recline the hallway and dine in service, but a good solid movie theater. What I love the most is that it is very quiet and you can come throughout the week or even on the weekend and not find yourself jammed next to millions of other people. Even when watching a relatively new movie. You can purchase tickets in advance or write on premises. Being that the regal theater is connected to the Nanuet mall if you don't feel like eating junkie snack movie theater food, there are plenty of dining options in walking distance or you can also opt for a little shopping . read more

The theater experience is fine. The snacks are _very_ expensive and the apparent deals on the board are miniscule (combo #1 saves you $1 off of $28). The popcorn itself was warm but slightly stale so the high price really is offensive for that. read more

Very slow service at concession stand for snacks and buying tickets. Paid for popcorn had to ask them to make popcorn after paying.

On a Monday night it's pretty quiet or actually empty? There are like 6 people in the whole theater and we are watching a scary movie. What a life. Theater is clean and service is fast being one of the few customers. I am not a fan of popcorn at the theater but just need to support this place. I can get use to having a theater mostly empty. I forgot how nice it is to experience the sound and laugher with other people. Tonight is a good night. read more

Finally we're able to see movies again and the place is deserted. It looks brand new inside. What a treat to see a movie with the whole theater to myself.... Even though Blackwidow was fair at best. The buttered popcorn and huge rootbeer soda kicked butt. I'm going back this week.... read more

Regal cinema in Nanuet has always been a great movie establishment and I'm so glad that they return to its spot and then he went after so many years. It's a great movie establishment I have nothing negative to say about it I enjoy going to the movies on weekdays and weekends. This is my number one movie establishments and I recommend other people go here and I love taking my family friends on our eyes to see the latest movies are coming out as well as reruns for stuff that came out years ago so that I can be able to wash them on the movie screen again. In the Shops at Nanuet near Macy's, the Limited and Zinburger, the Regal Cinema is new within the last 5 years I believe. The seats are nice and plush. The screen and the picture quality was amazing. The stadium seating offered a perfect view of the screen. The ticketing is the normal old school style which if you are a last Minute person for a popular movie, is the way you want to go. For this trip, that was me, so we got to the movie early and found good seats. Although with the stadium seating, someone would have to be a giant for me to not be able to see over there head. Concession line was so long and the vending machine wouldn't take my money so they lost out on that. read more

Nice and clean, although it is super new. I really liked the option of purchasing tickets online, then using the machines at the theater to pick up the tickets. No lines! Seats are really comfy and you can put the arm rest up so you can snuggle with your significant other :) Theaters aren't as large as Palisades but I kind of like that. I liked that they had some healthy snack options (see my photo). We got a box that consisted of crackers, cheese, salami, dried fruit and a small piece of chocolate that we shared. Why, why in an era where movie theaters are less and less attended due to the availability of home entertainment wouldn't a movie complex seek to make the movie going experience more pleasurable??? The wife and I went to the Regal Cinema today, bought a ticket for 4:30PM. Got back to the theater at 4:10 and stood on line to get pop corn. We stood there for 15 minutes and did not move and inch. The folks behind the counter just could not do this simple job putting pop corn in a bag and make change. At 4:25, we gave up so that we would not miss the movie. The problems is that when we sat down, they showed commercial after commercial. Not coming attractions, but GIECO and Coke....crap like that. THEN, 15 solid minutes of solid coming attractions. I actually paid $12.50 to watch commercials. I was force feed commercials and 15 minutes of coming attractions. So they choose to double down and force feed advertisements to paying customers. Now if they just trained the staff to sell the food properly, they wouldn't have to sell advertising and everyone would be happy. Is it that they think we are stupid, or do they just disrespect the customer that much? Well, whatever the case, it is just ridicules, and I hope that if you fell the same, you'll let them know it. Push back! It's sad because the theater is actually nice and comfortable....it's just not run properly. read more

This Movie Theater is much better than IMAX or AMC because it's more affordable, it's closer to me and to most people since it's near more common areas like Nanuet and Spring Valley. The lines aren't usually long when I'm there and it's not loud in the movie auditorium, I could keep talking but I'm on my way to regal. read more

I was tempted to go 3 stars, but went with 4 because of the staff. I go to this theater regularly, and I have their Club/Reward Card. I normally try and catch a movie at the end of its run on a Tuesday. Smaller crowds and discount pricing. Two criticisms: 1. Not a big fan of buying tickets at the concession line, wait is too long for just tickets. 2. If you are not going to sell tickets at the ticket booth, calibrate the automated machine to recognize club card and correct pricing. (11.50 matinee price at the automated machine, 6.90 at concession booth). So, If you have some time to kill, come early; pick a seat; then go shop around for a while till movie. If you are trying to make it last minute, prepare to be stressed. Outside of that, the staff have always been really good. Same guy takes my ticket most Tuesday matinees and is very nice. Also concession folks are good. It is more the process than the people. I do recommend. read more

I'm still trying to conjure up an opinion about this theater. I really think this is the theater that people come to when they don't feel like driving to the mall. However, I think more people will start coming here because now, there's less seating at AMC, thanks to reclining chairs (and trust me, I ain't complaining, I'm just saying). I visited tonight to see Sausage Party and I definitely didn't miss when the person sitting behind me constantly "accidentally" hits the back of my seat. I'm secretly hoping they go under construction just like AMC. I would like a more comfortable experience if I'm going to be visiting again. read more

Went to see Toy Story 4 with a friend. There's both upper and lower level parking which is convenient. Work staff in the ticket booth were friendly and helpful. Concession stand, theater, and ladies restroom were all very clean. Had to pick our theater seats which wasn't a problem, especially since it was practically empty at the time we went. Seats were very comfortable. Armrests, which could be raised or lowered, included cup holders. Overall, other than the high prices (which is like that at all the theaters) we had a wonderful time. Definitely will go back to this theater next time I go to the movies. read more

Regal Nanuet - Very big - Cinema Near Me - Nanuet, New York

Not a big fan of the new nanuet mall but i am a fan of the movie theater. Super clean and easy to navigate through. Bathrooms everywhere so you don't have to run too far if you're already in the movie and gotta peeeeeeee! My favorite aspect of this theater is the seating and leg space. I'd so rather be comfy watching a movie then having some girl crossing their legs every two seconds behind you kicking your chair, or some little kid that trying to play footsies with the back of your headrest, or even some obnoxious teenager thinking they are tough until you stand up and curse them out during the movie... (all things that i have done at lowes in the palisades mall). Oh yeah, more about the seating, if you're on a date they have the cool cup holder things that can move up and down so you can snuggle with eachother or be like "bitch i'm trying to watch the movie :: puts cup holder down to make an invisible barrier ::" I go here a lot, i dont understand their rewards card too much, my girlfriend has it and says its not the best thing in the world. but yeah i frequent this place. too fond of the seats and comfort. read more

I took my grandson age 7 to a 12:30 movie. I told them 1 senior & 1 child. They charged me $16.75 for the senior and $16.15 for the child ticket. I complained but nothing was done. I do not recommend the Nanuet Regal Theater. After many calls they sent me complimentary tickets. I still prefer the AMC theater. The seats are more comfortable and there are no surprises at the box office. read more

I love this theatre. There's a great parking lot in back, so it's never a long trek into the theatre. We also love the comfortable seats that have ample leg room. It's so much easier to pass other patrons without having to have them stand up or tripping over their legs, etc. The theatre is new, so everything is in great shape. The employees are all friendly. The only downside is that there aren't as many theaters inside, so there have been a few times that a movie we've been interested in seeing isn't playing there. Doesn't happen often though. read more

Bought tickets online for me and three kids. When we showed up, two people were in two of the seats. They had printed out tickets for the seats bought after we bought ours. The manager came and I told him I wasn't going to leave and disappoint the kids but since the only seats were in the front rows which are very uncomfortable, would be give me a partial refund for this trouble. He said he would take care of it but I see online that he did not. Add to this, the beyond rude concession stand worker who kept getting my order wrong and gave me an attitude about it. And the one ticket taker (it was a Friday night, opening night for endgame, you think they would have more management and stuff on hand) who refused to call the manager for me and told me the manager was definitely at the guest services desk. He wasn't, and when he finally came, he had three groups to take care of since they screwed up all of our tickets. I'll be waiting for my refund but I doubt I will get it. My fault for leaving and trusting. Edit: also sent complaint online, regal sent me three free tickets. read more

Virtually every Sunday morning I do one of my favorite things. I go to this theatre to see a movie.i get there early, to choose a favorite seat, for a more enjoyable experience. Today I have come to see Rogue One. Knowing the theater would be crowded I arrive more than a hour before it opens to be 1st in line. The experience was spoiled because someone had "reserved" a block of seats, including mine. Totally unfair. Either reserve all a la AMC or none but not some for only the well paying privileged few. When I plead my case to the manager all I got was a snarky, " Well they paid a premium price to reserve the seats". read more

CAVEATS: I haven't been here during peak hours on weekends and haven't seen any films in RPX or 3D, so this review applies mostly to off-peak times on Tuesdays when tickets for standard versions of films cost $6.00 and first showings haven't been very crowded. I've not bought anything from their concessions (and usually don't), but I noticed that they offer half-priced popcorn and 25% discounts on candy on certain days. Working on a flexible schedule that usually allows me free time on Tuesdays, I'm happy to have discovered this generally clean cinema complex with convenient and ample parking, stadium seating, comfortable seats, good-sized screens, good sound systems and tickets costing $6.00 apiece on Tuesdays reasonably close to my home. They offer a rewards card for patrons, so there's a small incentive to continue choosing the theater for first-run films. However, I've been somewhat disappointed that films I'd wanted to see recently like "Manchester by the Sea," "Lion" and "Elle" seem to have missed this cinema complex or, like "Moonlight," have arrived late in their original run and aren't shown more than once or twice a day, or, like "Patriots Day" weren't shown in its standard version until the evening, I suspect that they won't be showing documentaries I'm hoping to see, like "Nobody Speak: Hulk Hogan, Gawker and Trials of a Free Press" or the Alfred Hitchcock documentary "78/52." it might be nice if, a few days each week, they could select one of their twelve theaters to show films that appeal to people who'd be interested in films shown at film festivals like Sundance, Cannes and the New York Film Festival, but that are not receiving wide release. The men's room seemed too small for a large complex that could become very crowded on weekends. Show times generally are staggered and some films are shown only once or twice a day or only during evening hours. read more

I love going to regal! It's my second best theater next to amc! It's clean, cool, luxurious, and the people working there are great! Food there is great, especially the touchscreen candy machine! The arcade is also a blast! Great games to play! This cinema is also great for birthday parties because they have a designated party room too! Overall, love regal! read more

Despite there being less theaters, than it's rival in West Nyack, this theater is much better. There is plenty of leg room and you may recline the chair without worrying about bumping into the person behind you. They offer plenty of concessions, over priced as any theater. It's brand new, so as of right now, its clean and the bathrooms are clean. This Regal also offers a party room for kids parties. The room is not that big, but big enough for a party of 10 - 15. I also really like not having to drive allllllll the way down to Nyack to catch a flick. It's a nice change of pace. read more

Saw Anchorman 2 in the RPX theater, huge, awesome theater. Seats are huge, very comfortable. Plenty of room for the legs. Massive screen, very nice sound. Theater is brand new so of course its clean, bathrooms are adequate. Concession area seemed fine, and parking was more than easy. Can't wait to go back! read more

I came here for the first time to see X-Men Apocalypse in 3D and it was a good experience. The theater itself was very clean and kept well. The theaters aren't as big as one you would see in an AMC but I kind of appreciated a smaller space. The bathrooms were also very clean. I would definitely be visiting again! read more

This movie theatre is awesome. It is very modern with stadium style seating. Staff is great. Huge screen and the most comfortable seats I have ever had in a movie theatre wish I could take one home. The arm rest go up and down too so you can change it depending on how much you like the person next to you. Quick tip Skip the lines and bring a credit card. Lines to get tickets are long outside of theatre but there is kiosk inside to buy tickets as well with only 1% of the people there using them. read more

This theater has lovely comfy roomy seats. It is new and clean. The bathrooms are very clean. If you plan to buy tickets in advance with your phone, and not buy concessions you will have no issue and visits this theater could be 5-star experiences. The workers here are friendly and pleasant. Here is where the theater fails. - Tuesdays mean cheap tickets! Sounds great right. Plan to arrive very early if you want to visit on a Tuesday. The ticket booth is closed. You must wait in a long queue at the concession stand to buy your tickets. Only two of the registers have the ability to print tickets. They don't have a register dedicated to tickets only, and you can buy both concessions and tickets at the same time. This causes a tremendously long wait time. As the attendants work to give a luxurious amount of attention to each indecisive customer-which I commend, but-every minute that ticks by, becomes increasingly frustrating for those in line waiting to only purchase the discount tickets. Regal is really working hard to pressure customers to purchase concessions and this pressue is really really annoying. - Bag check. Please don't poke around my handbag! While this may be under the guise of safety, ie preventing anyone from bringing firearms into theaters, really, they are checking bags for smuggled in snacks and drinks. This is not an airport. I should not need a bag check to see a movie. AMC Lowes at Palisades Center does not check bags. - They have a long list of food items available at the concession stand, but they take 5-10 minutes to order, and once you have waited 10 minutes in line to get your tickets, you might not have time to wait another 10 minutes for churros or a hotdog. With all of this said, Regal remains the newest cleanest theater in the area. If you plan to go, don't go on a Tuesday unless you have 30 minutes extra to kill if you want snacks, and 15 minutes to kill just to get tickets from the concession stand. I prefer this theater over Palisades AMC Lowes, because you are not constrained by preassigned seats as you are at AMC Lowes. Because of this, you must arrive early if you like to sit in a specific area of the theater. read more

I have always had great experiences at Regal Nanuet until I came today to see Lights out and got an attitude by an older man who was annoyed because I didn't want a regal card.The B squad must be on today because I waited on line for snacks 10 minutes while Reggie and her friends talked to each other and ignored the line of people forming.The bathrooms were dirty and the carpet on the way to theatre 9 was covered in popcorn .
