We haven't been to this Regal in ages. Most likely pre-COVID times, and even then, I couldn't tell you what we watched. It's an older theater. The downstairs box office no longer has people there for ticket purchases. Everything is either done in the app or at concessions (which is such a weird thing). We had vouchers to exchange and didn't realize we could have added them into the app to process them. So we waited in the concessions line. They did upgrade several of their theaters with reclining seats. HOWEVER. If you want to sit in those reclining seats, you do have to pay an upcharge. Which is weird. They're not even the special reclining seats with speakers in the headrest or vibration or anything. Just plain ol reclining seats. And speaking of reclining seats. One of ours broke. So it was stuck in the recline position and would not move. The screens seemed to be fine. We watched Project Hail Mary and the visual and audio quality were good. We did not buy any concessions, so cannot comment on them. read more

They've both improved and went downhill over the years, but I will say that there are more positives than anything. We like the snack options, there's more of them, the reclining seats are very nice as well. The negatives, the fountain drinks are are usually pretty gross, odd taste. The theatres are usually freezing or hot. There doesn't seem to be an in-between. We ended up leaving halfway through the last movie, mostly because it was horrible, and we were freezing. I miss being able to buy my tickets at the booth. It was easier and less stressful. I wish they'd remove the seat reservation. I'd rather pick my seat when I get there and move when I feel the need without having to go ask permission. read more

Came here to see the Fathom events showing of Labyrinth for the 40 year anniversary! I haven't been to a movie theater in years and was so impressed with how clean and upgraded this theater is! The seats in the theater were brand new, reclining, and included a small adjustable table! The theater was spotless and the floor was not sticky at all! The staff were friendly and helpful. We got popcorn and 2 small drinks, costing ~$30 which is of course insane. $7.99 for a small drink (although it was sizable) is beyond my understanding but a classic monopoly. I know most of the revenue from a movie treater is concessions but wow! The popcorn tasted not fresh and almost stale which again, for the price, I expected it to be much better. If I didn't consider the concessions in the review, I would have given 5 stars. read more

I really like this theater because it has recliner seats and the little tray tables that also winter park has without the crazy parking. It's always easy to find a parking spot here. It's very clean. Regal does need to do something about the straws though for these kids size cups because they're ridiculously long and they don't have kids size straws, which is ridiculous. Beautiful movie theater! It's within the Oviedo Mall which is quiet but don't let that fool you! This movie theater has spacious amazing reclining leather seats with tray tables that pull in front of you. They also have a bar with a decent selection of beers on draft. I got a "large" craft beer which was probably 20oz (?) with tip it was $13. Not too bad for an attraction type place. I wasn't sure what to expect at this theater but I was pleasantly surprised! It's nice to see that they are doing some well needed upgrades. We have been coming here lately for movies. Watched Supergirl. There was no air conditioning. It was well over 80 degrees. My date and I were so uncomfortable. After the movie ended, everyone was complaining how hot it was and how they needed to get out of there. Went out into the mall area and it was air conditioned out there. Loved the reclining seats and I thought the theater was nicely updated. But no air made it extremely uncomfortable. read more

Oh I love this theater. Roomy, reclining seats. Snack trays for everyone. Delicious popcorn and crisp soda. This is a great theater experience. I prefer the front larger theaters because they are right next to a bathroom and concessions. My son never makes it through an entire movie without running to the bathroom at least twice. So the bathroom close to the theater makes all the difference. We keep this theater on our short list of favorite theaters. read more

My friend and I accidentally walked into the wrong theater before our movie, and instead of simply pointing us to the correct auditorium, the staff refused to let us watch our movie at all. It was an honest mistake, and we had already paid for our tickets. The situation could have been resolved with a simple conversation, but it was handled in a way that felt unnecessarily harsh. I was disappointed by the lack of understanding and customer service. Being treated this way over an accidental mix-up made the experience frustrating and embarrassing. Some of the theaters have updated recliner seating, look closely if you book through app. We also like to go during the Summer Movie express. $1 for the movie (+ $1 processing fee to purchase ahead which is highly recommended) and $5 movie combo. I feel bad about Oviedo Mall. It's dying a slow death right in front of our eyes! After going to Regal Waterford in Mid June and now Regal Oviedo Mall early July the difference is huge. There didn't seem to be any ticket control. We bought our tickets to see "sound of hope" at the downstairs kiosk and went up the escalator. Then went to the theater and sat at the seats we selected. We didn't encounter any Regal employees (we did at Waterford where they checked our tickets) My 12-yr old says the temperature in the theater was fine but I was hot. Can't confirm or deny AC or hot flash The theater wasn't filthy or anything, just old and a bit dusty. I hope they rejuvenate it soon... read more

The only complaint i have is the chairs in the theatre i was in. I'm not sure if they are all non reclining, but it was slightly disappointing seeing how updated and renovated the rest of the movie theater was. If you need to go to a movie theater, do not go to this one. While parking is plentiful and the mall does have foods, that's the only thing going for this location. The line for food and the line for movie tickets is the same one often at this location. This means that you can often get stuck behind others taking a long time to place their order. Under staffed as well, which must be hard on the workers. Go to the regal at Waterford. Or a different theater entirely. read more

I saw a movie here today at this Regal movie theater in the Oviedo mall. There is plenty of parking. We bought our tickets at the Regal kiosk and then went up the escalator. The concession stand food has come a long way. There was beer, a combination box with soda and popcorn, pizza, Doritos cheese nachos, pretzels, ice cream, candy, hotdog, etc. We spent 10 minutes buying nachos, the combination box and two pizzas. We could barely carry all of it. The theater was clean. We enjoyed our time at the movie theater. read more

This is by far the worst regal location I've visited in a while. The theater is not well maintained and the management is rude. The theater we went into was filthy! Trash was in the seats and all over the floor and it had a foul smell of urine and mold. For the price of the tickets and concessions, you could go to a better maintained theater with updated seats and have a more enjoyable experience. Don't waste your money here. There was a power outage (which was unfortunate) that shut off all the films and the management did not handle the situation well at all, getting a refund was like pulling teeth. Instead they gave everyone vouchers that said they expired in 2021 but "guaranteed" they would be accepted. read more

This has to be the most ghetto movie theater I've ever been to. It has the old stadium style seating and old dustry curtain draped walls. The entrance is odd, as you take an escalator, elevator, or stairs up to the second floor to gain access to the lobby. My group immediately got in line for snacks as to make time between the long lines and the impending screening time. Service was slow and the workers were downright disrespectful and unknowledgible. The menu does not show prices which is annoying. Only one menu in the center showed rotating specials and it was partially blocked by a pillar. After we ordered snacks, we were told to wait to the left for pick-up, where there was spilled soda, trash, and popcorn on the floor and counter. It seemed to have been there for a while and a rude associate came up and reluctantly swept the trash and popcorn up through the soda, telling people to move and not use napkins from the counter. He later came up and tried mopping up the mess. We got our food and left for our auditorium (12). We found our seats and watched the movie - audio quality was okay, needs to be tuned in a little. During the movie, there were multiple people on their phones, who didn't turn their ringers off, talked through the film, etc. We could not find a single employee to complain to afterward. Then, someone in my group pointed out that we never got our tickets scanned and maybe we could get a refund from corporate. Realizing I never even got my ticket scanned (and neither did many others), made me realize you could just walk in and watch anything here for free. I've been here more times than I can remember but today it was terrible. We went to see Nightmare Alley in theater # 18 holy smokes the sound was terrible. The entire left side of the sound coming from behind the screen was mostly static like they had blown the voice coils in the speakers. Poor experience with manager Victoria Johnson. I am a teenage girl and I went to see the Five Nights at Freddy's with 5 other teenage girls. We sat in the very back of the theater. Around halfway into the movie a funny scene happened and someone in the audience made a joke about it. As a result everyone in the theater laughed. A few minutes later after the laughter stopped, Victoria came walking up the stairs saying "Who's going to rat them out?" to several groups of people in the audience, which was very unprofessional. She then proceeded to escort us out of the theater without warning at all. On the way out one of my friends went to the bathroom and had us hold her stuff. Victoria would not let us stay and wait for her, saying she "Knew her way out." When we asked why we were being unjustly kicked out of the theater, she told us that she could hear us "yelling and laughing loudly" (which we were not doing) and that she could recognize and pinpoint our voices. (Note: we have never spoken to her before being escorted out of the theater.) One of my friends attempted to apologize to her and she cut her off and said "No, you need to leave." When we asked her why she didn't give us any warnings, she replied with "90% of the time the warnings don't work." As we were waiting we saw her escort yet another group of teenaged girls out of the same showing as us. One of my friends parents tried to figure out what had happened and Victoria told them that she was up and down giving us warnings. Recently saw the new Halloween movie here. This is the second time I've been to this theater and it's seriously needs a face lift. The seats are so old they smelt like piss and mold. The theater was so hot almost the entire time until we literally heard the ac come on. I like how I can go to the kiosk and get my military discounted tickets without having to wait in line, but I'd rather drive further to go to a nicer theater than ever come here again. read more

I am being kind with two stars. I would just avoid this place. Escalators dont work, concession line extremely long. No AC in theater so you sweat like a dog in there. It might be time for some updates. I had not been to this theater in years and just went to see a movie late on a Friday night. I had already bought my tickets online via Fandango so we bypassed a very short line and went straight in. The concession area seemed to have all the usual things like popcorn and candy but none of the fancier foods that I'm seeing at some of the other theaters. They did offer beer, wine and some other alcoholic drinks like Truly. The seats in the theater were pretty standard and showing signs of needing some upgrades. The sound and screen were just fine. The bathrooms were clean. They just seem a little behind the times compared to other movie theaters and this probably deters some people but I would return because I prefer a less crowded movie theater. read more

A last minute purchase for a huge box office movie during opening night! Regal movie cinema in Oviedo came through! I mean who does that? Well, it was I actually! I really forgot to pre-purchase at least a day before. My husband was determined to see Infinity Wars opening evening and we sure did! Located in the Oviedo mall, this location has some benefits because there's a food court located just underneath the theatre. Did I mention a mall too? Well, nothing too spectacular but a decent spot for shopping. We quickly stood in line and used our paper gift theatre tickets (can't purchase online) for this movie. You can purchase tickets online normally but for this location there's NO such thing as reservation seating and electronic lounge chairs! Which is probably the reason why we were able to purchase a 10pm showing just an hour ahead of time! All other theaters were sold out or had crappy seats available! It was a win win situation that allowed us to grab some great seats! Okay, so this theatre needs updating. It's very clean but I've been living in Central Florida for 11 years now and this theatre has NOT changed, not one bit! The service was still good but they need to update it in order to compete with the other theaters. Also, I did notice large crowds of teenagers, everywhere! Hormone alert! Decent spot for the latest movies, but not my favorite. In my situation, it truly was a great benefit! read more

Perfect theater for watching a movie. You get to choose your seat, theater is clean and never crowded. Plenty of mall parking and food court to dine before the movie. If you're into the "scene" then this quiet theater spot is not for you as it is not popping with the movie crowd and huge courtyard with snack bars across the wall. Stadium searing makes it easy to see the show and the patrons "get it" so you will not have any noise during your show. Movie ticket prices have gone through the roof and snacks as well so get ready to spend up to $20 per person. read more

I haven't been here in years. We came to see spider man because they have a ton of showings. Don't come here. There's like no one at the front ticket booth. I guess they are on a budget?? Omg.
