Came here to see the Fathom events showing of Labyrinth for the 40 year anniversary! I haven't been to a movie theater in years and was so impressed with how clean and upgraded this theater is! The seats in the theater were brand new, reclining, and included a small adjustable table! The theater was spotless and the floor was not sticky at all! The staff were friendly and helpful. We got popcorn and 2 small drinks, costing ~$30 which is of course insane. $7.99 for a small drink (although it was sizable) is beyond my understanding but a classic monopoly. I know most of the revenue from a movie treater is concessions but wow! The popcorn tasted not fresh and almost stale which again, for the price, I expected it to be much better. If I didn't consider the concessions in the review, I would have given 5 stars.

This rating initially started off pretty low. The lobby area is very run down and the menu boards at concessions weren't working. The bathrooms were also old and run down. It was also strange because no one scanned our tickets. The actual theater though was amazing. The seats reclined and they seemed new. If it wasn't for the theater being as nice as it was, this review would've been lower.

I really like this theater because it has recliner seats and the little tray tables that also winter park has without the crazy parking. It's always easy to find a parking spot here. It's very clean. Regal does need to do something about the straws though for these kids size cups because they're ridiculously long and they don't have kids size straws, which is ridiculous. They only have Pepsi products, which is another downside.

Beautiful movie theater! It's within the Oviedo Mall which is quiet but don't let that fool you! This movie theater has spacious amazing reclining leather seats with tray tables that pull in front of you. They also have a bar with a decent selection of beers on draft. I got a "large" craft beer which was probably 20oz (?) with tip it was $13. Not too bad for an attraction type place. I wasn't sure what to expect at this theater but I was pleasantly surprised! I will definitely keep this theater in mind for the next time!

This theater has definitely gone a lot better with the reclining seats. It's always clean. The concession lines aren't too bad and the food is always decent enough for a movie theater. That will always be my go to theater just for the lack of crowd.

Many of the theaters at Regal Oviedo Mall have added new reclining seats! They also have a new bar under construction that will hopefully be open soon. It's nice to see that they are doing some well needed upgrades. We have been coming here lately for movies. Food court in the mall is an easy option for a quick bite before or after the show.

Recliner seating

Upgraded location. Seats were awesome. Mostly digital check in for tickets. You can get concessions delivered to your seat. Recommend this Oviedo Mall location.

Oh I love this theater. Roomy, reclining seats. Snack trays for everyone. Delicious popcorn and crisp soda. This is a great theater experience. I prefer the front larger theaters because they are right next to a bathroom and concessions. My son never makes it through an entire movie without running to the bathroom at least twice. So the bathroom close to the theater makes all the difference. We keep this theater on our short list of favorite theaters.

Thank you Regal

Parking is free and and so is the short tram or bus ride to the event. The experience begins on the ride as you're greeted by the bus driver; (Ours was named Splatter and his energy set the mood for the night) and his assistants who may give you a fright as they give you the lore/theme of the houses and their names. The premise of this event changes every year, and after our experience we are excited to see what they cook up next year. In the front yard of the event there are many food trucks to choose from, some with themed menu options, a few shops with an array of goods, and a DJ playing some Halloween classics. This area is a relatively small but we never felt crowded, and we're able to find seats at tables to eat, despite it being Halloween Night where we expected a peak number of visitors. The smaller area also guarantees that you'll have many encounters throughout the night with the scare actors who roam this open space. Screams from guests filled the air sporadically all throughout the night. The houses were extremely impressive. There were 3 free houses included in your ticket and 2 experiences where you pay for an extra ticket. These tickets also work as fast passes to the houses. We found that the lines went by quickly. The houses are not so much houses as they are trails through the wooded area in the event lot which added a lot more to the fear factor than your typical indoor haunted houses. Every scene was filled with props and scares. It was obvious how much effort was put into the designs of the sets. This year's premise to put it simply was an abandoned mall and the houses reflected that. What really made this night for us were the employees. This experience was very interactive and the scare actors all had great attitudes. They were in character but when we had questions about the event they answered us seriously and it showed. We got the impression that they enjoyed their work, and that helped keep spirits high all night

There are some amazing things about this theatre space…read more I love the way the doors can slide open so on nice Orlando nights it's like an open air entrance. I love how beautiful the stairwell is going up to two. I love how much they have expanded their food and beverage line up over the years. The sound tends to be pretty good, the communication from the theatre is always amazing. They waive fees if you come to the box office to buy your tickets. The seats are comfy and almost every seat has a solid view. The box seats are the exception so be warned. The volunteers are always amazing and they are so nice. It would be cool if they opened a second location that served coffee because that line for espresso beverages is always really long. I love the breadth of show types. There's always something for everyone.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026…read more Front Row, Center Tickets to Ms. Diana Ross' Concert Performance I've been to numerous events at the Dr. Phillips Center but nothing beats having the opportunity to see a legend perform within arms-length to where you're seated. And when that "Icon of Icons" is none other than Ms. Diana Ross...well, nothing else need be said. It was a dream come true to say the least. In my most previous update of the Dr. Phillips Center I indicated meeting with and having my photograph taken with the incredible soprano Sarah Brightman was an entertainment highlight of 2025. 2026 has just begun but I will have to use the superlative "spectacular" once again. As in a spectacular show from start to finish. Diana Ross may be 81 years old!...but she still has the voice and ahem...the moves of a much younger performer. Just think of this, she was performing with the Supremes in the 1960's. I wasn't even born and by the time I was she had 12 number one singles with the OG of girl groups! And she is still working it to this day. Ms. Ross sung a multitude of her hits which kept the crowd, and my sister and I, dancing and singing throughout the evening. However, when she started to belt out Gloria Gaynor's anthem "I Will Survive" that really got the audience out of their seats. An Icon singing and Iconic piece of music is an experience second to none. Ms. Ross, you and your mark on music history is unmatched...blessings to you and your family!

Parking is $15 via the adjacent Evergreen Cemetery. I arrived past 1 p.m. and there was a line of cars waiting to park. Probably took about 20-30 minutes to do so. Tried most of the food offerings and of course imbibed German golden brew. Nothing food wise was a wow, but the potato salad on the bratwurst platter and the Obatzda cheese for the pretzel are quite good. The schnitzel I got was a letdown. No desserts to be found, as far as I could see, for the peasantry (non-VIP). Prices not terrible, I suppose. Ended up raining heavily later on, so that might have cut down on the crowd a bit. Probably should have checked out the lineup of performances beforehand, which is available online. Didn't really catch much of that. It's not a huge area. Wish there were additional shopping options, perhaps more German goods. Nothing in that regard tickled my fancy. Suppose it's not really about that anyway. I was not enticed to stay more than a couple of hours, however. Friendly, good-natured crowd present. Enjoyable enough, but not in a hurry to return.

I love this place and their Oktoberfest is among the best. I eagerly joined the society as I am a…read morelover of all things German, well, most things anyway. I was one of the few younger members. Sadly, young people (and by young I mean anyone under sixty to the age of twenty one) don't want to belong to anything any more. They'd rather pretend their lives are glorious on social media. Meh The social events here are great and very affordable. The food is excellent--prepared by the members who obviously take pride. I always liked coming to the dances and seeing the oldsters get their groove on. They have fun and good on them. Leave it to the young party poopers to twiddle their fingers at home. If you volunteer to work Oktoberfest you get some coupons toward free beer and food but truly, it is fun to volunteer because most people you'll encounter there are fun and know how to act decent in public, even when on the lash! HA! The one thing I did not like (it's been a couple of years since I volunteered)--on two occasions I was assigned to work at the bar and sling beer. On both occasions I showed up, asked what to do and after some confusion I was put in those spots and after working them for a bit, someone showed up (not the same person) who was rather rude to me being there and sent me off like a misbehaved child to somewhere else. Um, I was doing what I was told to do and doing very well at it. When I worked the bar the gentleman in charge told the crabby coordinator that I was doing pretty good for a newbie and was happy to keep me on. I ended up slinging beer an hour or so later and that was fun and very busy, making the evening fly by. I really enjoyed it! Later that hat year they treated all the volunteers to a visit to the Dali museum and dinner at the Hofbrau Haus in St. Pete. We even had cocktails on the bus. It was a great time. The next year I was put on beer slinging and again, myself and another volunteer were chased away. I was sent to check IDs but they already had enough people and told me so. I had my tickets for free goodies and debating saying "to hell with this nonsense" and just bugging off to enjoy the festivities without working but I waited and observed and once one of the beer lines looked out of control I jumped in again and helped keep the line moving. This time no one interfered and the people I worked with told me there were happy for my help. (and now, you can't drink beer all day while you work) So yeah, there are members of this club who think they are elite and can treat volunteers like crap and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I joined after the first incident and stayed on but I suspect others do not return because of this attitude problem. And like any social club or fraternal organization, there are cliques and some are rather obnoxious. I made the mistake of falling in with one of them and then feeling heartbroken when I was bluntly informed that I didn't fit in with them after all (they were offended by a fart joke--insert eye roll) so I found a new place to sit at future events and found a nice crew who told the occasional fart joke or two themselves and had some great times with people who knew how to laugh and have fun. So join! You will enjoy it if you go in prepared. If you are part of the leadership of the German American Society you might want to think about how some of your coordinators treat volunteers. Instead of sneering at someone working at the bar perhaps consider saying "I'm so sorry. We're going to have to put you at a different location because of blah blah blah" or maybe just accept that another coordinator already beat you to assigning someone to the bar so your best buddy Hilda, to whom you promised the gig, will go have to work another station for a few hours.
