I've been going to this theater for 20 years. Since the pandemic, it seems to be struggling and apathetic. Barely any staff, nobody bothers to scan tickets purchased online, the seats are worn out and sag toward the floor, and last time I went the entire facility was not heated when outside was about 25 degrees. Lobby was a mess of popcorn and paper on the floor, women's restroom dirty and unserviced. Spent $15 per ticket, then $18 for a small popcorn and small soft drink. This place will not survive if they don't improve the experience. Going forward, I'll probably wait an extra month for streaming. I want to support local cinema but they are making it hard. read more

I like this place better than the Easton, Pa Regal for the sole reason that they don't douse their popcorn in salt. Staff is nice. Place is clean but definitely needs an update as some of the seats are damn near to the floor like an elephant had previously sat in it for years. So here's the deal: Location: nice area in Phillipsburg NJ.This is a nice, family friendly, and clean movie theatre. There are 12 theatres in all. They have an air hockey machine; there's a play-til'u-win rubber ducky claw machine and a few other arcade machines. Customer service: The staff is very pleasant and eager to help. The guy at the box office was sweet and helpful. The guys at the consessions stand were super sweet. The girl that collected the tickets was friendly and welcoming. Cleanliness: so the carpet in high traffic areas was free of debris, their garbage pails were easily accessible and not overflowing. The A/C was at a good temperature. The floors between the rows were clean and not sticky like some of the ones in NYC. The space between the seats are comfortable-a few of the seats need to be adjusted because the first one I sat on was real low. Picture & sound quality was great. I sat with my daughter in theatre 11 and hubby and my other daughter in theatre 3-both were great. I wanna point out this location is actually 20 min away from where I was but I choose to come here after reading several negative yelp reviews about the location in Northampton PA. The small overweight man checking tickets is horrible. Extremely rude, miserable, and bizarre. This terrible employee ruins the experience.

This theatre NEVER has their projection equipment in focus . If you go to see a movie ( I am sitting in Batman now) be prepared for fuzzy vision. This is the 4 th movie I have seen here in the last 8 months and each and every time the projector is OUT OF FOCUS. Amateurs ! read more

In our area, AMC has bought out just about everything. In our immediate area in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, they are about the only choice you have. I don't ever recall going to a Regal Cinema although I am aware of the name and have seen locations elsewhere. This was my first experience with Regal. Going to a movie on a Sunday afternoon in Phillipsburg, NJ, I expected to see a good number of people. In particular, since it was opening weekend for the movie Captain Phillips. we expected a crowded theater. But, we were the only ones in the theater. Not one of a few, but actually the only ones. It was an interesting experience to say the least. We didn't get anything from the snack bar, although like the theater, we saw no one there. There was no one in line for tickets. And, while I did not use the rest room, I do understand that there were employees in both the men's and women's restrooms. Now, the theaters themselves were amply large. The seats were comfortable. The screen was not IMAX sized, but I would say it was average in size to other theaters. And, the sound system was good. Why four stars instead of five - the lack of availability of staff anywhere and the theater needs to be updated in design. Other than that, the experience was unique. read more

Ticket guy is almost never there so you could practically walk in and see a movie for free. When he is there he is very rude. He has been rude on two separate occasions this past year. Other people I have talked to also claim that he has been nasty to them. I'm not even able to enjoy the movie because I'm pissed the entire time after dealing with him. read more

I've gone to this theatre probably 100 times over the last 15 years. This movie theatre gets the job done. Staff is friendly, popcorn is over priced, everything you'd expect. I think what makes this theatre a nice place to go is the fact that it is centrally located to a few places to eat. Overall, it has a ton of theaters and they play all the best movies. I'd go here over most theaters. read more

Theater is very clean, snacks are always fresh and the staff seem friendly and in good spirits. Most showings aren't overbooked, couldn't really ask for more. Small gaming area for the kids and a play to win duck machine that is great for the younger kids. read more

I have visited this cinema about 5 times in the last 6 six months. After last night's viewing of Ford vs Ferrari, it will definitely be my last. Disregarding the old and uncomfortable seating, having to endure 40+ minutes of commercials and previews is just absurd. The listed showtime was 8:10. The movie finally started at 8:45! Obviously these are corporate decisions, but it explains why fewer and fewer customers are electing to visit these hellholes!! read more

The experience was not great. Overpriced and the staff was minimally pleasant. Took my young grandchild and he wanted to go home after sitting though 30 minutes of advertisements. Showtime was listed as 1:15 pm but the movie did not start until well after that time. It was so loud that my grandchild covered his ears the entire time. He wanted to leave soon after the movie started after being bombarded with LOUD advertisements for at least 30 minutes. I asked one of the staff if the movies were always ridiculously loud and he offered to turn it down A LITTLE, but by that time, my grandson just wanted to leave. It was very disappointing. I went home, rented a movie on NETFLIX and had a much better and more comfortable time. Wasted $20 plus the cost of refreshments! read more

Theater is run down, tiny rooms with uncomfortable and poorly laid out seating, it was sweltering hot in the tiny theater we got stuck in and smelled old. I asked for tap water at the concession stand and they told me I would still have to pay the regular beverage price of $6.49.. for tap water!! read more

Very disrespectful worker comes into our movie and is talking to a group of girls WHILE THE MOVIE IS PLAYING. Pissed me off and will not return to this movie theater because of disrespectful staff like that. The seats are AWFUL. Certain theaters here only have about thirty seats, which was super weird. Three seat rows on one side four on the other? Plus every time we go there is some type of noise in the background, high pitched, mechanical sounding. I've been going to the movies all my life and have never heard a theater back ground noise. Its a shame because this place is never empty, so it would be nice if they did some upgrades. read more

Been there probably 10 times with the first 9 being awesome. Went last week and the tiny theater that my daughter's movie was playing in was filthy. The first seats we tried to sit in had dirty tissues stuffed into the cup holders. Second seats we tried were so sticky that I couldn't enjoy the movie. Hopefully this was an exception to their normally satisfactory environment. read more

First, I am not a big fan of going to the movies. It may stem from the fact I was an absolute disaster when 'going to the movies' on a date. Regardless...if I can stay home and watch a movie on my home theatre system, drink alcohol, and pause the movie to go to the bathroom or get a snack, then that is what I do. However, the kids like a movie out once in while. 4 kids. Plus me and the wife. That's $60+ right there. Plus popcorn, drinks and candy. And it's just not the money spent...movie seats kind of don't work really well for me either. Being 6' 3'' - most seats don't fit well. The seats here aren't high enough for me to put my head back comfortably without scrunching down, and that's not too good for your spine. The place is clean, the popcorn is OK, and the picture & sound quality is good. I guess if I had to go to a movie theatre somewhere, this is as good as a place as any. read more

Theater was clean. Popcorn was good. Staff were a bit inattentive. I was in the theater with about 15 to 20 other movie goers and a large number of them just wouldn't stop talking, laughing, and running around the theater like it was some kind of social club. I was stunned at how arrogant and brazenly they were behaving. I complained to the staff twice and absolutely nothing was done about it. Ruined the whole movie. Couldn't hear it. Couldn't enjoy it. I took my 7 year old son to see the 10:30 am viewing of X-Men: Age of Extinction. We are frequent moviegoers and used to go to this theater all the time but have been trending towards AMC theaters lately. However, today we chose Regal because AMC had little to no late morning showing any movies what so ever. I was quite pleased with the plentiful array of showtime options that Regal had, for nearly all of the films. The seats in the theater are nowhere near as comfortable as those in AMC but in the end I feel it is an equal trade off because you do not have to deal with the constant interruptions of waiters taking orders and serving food. The temperature was just right, not study and not too cold. There were only a handful of other viewers and they were all quiet, no disturbing noise or chatter. There were plenty of close parking options to top it off. read more

Typical movie theater. Nothing really sets them apart from other area movie theaters (Nazareth, Bethlehem), but it is more convenient for us to goto than the others. The theater is clean and comfortable and the prices are comparable to other theaters. read more

It's a nice theater. It's local, and convenient. Popcorn and drinks are expensive but that's the norm for all theaters nowadays! The staff is nice, and I guess what makes me give this 4 stars is due to the fact the first time I went here with my daughter, she cried before the movie even started. This sh*thole is the worst theater I've ever been to. Never once have I had an issue with a rated R movie, this place didn't even used to have people checking if you bought tickets now all of a sudden a 17 year old can't get into an R movie not to mention no refund. This place sucks read more
