The same old place with all the latest and greatest additions. I've come to this theater for as long as I can remember and I was very impressed when coming here and seeing all the renovations this place had made. The brand new king size recliner chairs were awesome and very comfortable even during a 2+ hour long movie. The chairs were extremely easy to use and reclined back extremely far compared to other theaters I've been to. The leather on the chairs is very soft and makes for a relaxing experience. Also say bye to the sticky old concrete floors inside the theaters too. Aside from the stairs which were carpet, the floors were vinyl wood flooring which not only looked much nicer but felt cleaner in a sense. As I always remembered parking was not a problem to find neither but that may not be the case once people start to re-experience this place. I believe this place is on the rise once again, especially if they plan on redoing the rest of the building (lobby, bathrooms, etc.) when that happens. It will get a 5th star from me. I would recommend checking this place out if you haven't in the past 6 months or so! It's not the same and it's great. read more

This was my second visit to this theater in a decade, lol. Happy to report that it has been updated since my last visit. It now has reclining chairs with PLENTY of legroom and aisle space. The chairs are comfortable, and make watching movies more relaxing. I went to a 3D showing on a Tuesday afternoon, and thought it was very reasonably priced. No issues with the sound or picture. Theater was a little colder than I'd prefer, but luckily I had a coat. I tried the Cheetos popcorn. It's just cheese popcorn with Cheetos added. Good, but overpriced. Drinks are overpriced too. However, regular popcorn is half off Tuesdays with the Regal card. I liked the theater and will return. read more

There are only a couple of movie theaters on Indy's west side, so Regal at Shiloh Crossing gets a lot of traffic. This was my theater of choice growing up, but throwing sentimentality to the wind, here are my Boos and Woo Hoos. Woo Hoos!: + Lots of theaters with lots of show times + Senior and Student Discounts + Good rewards program + Their pretzel bites (and cheese) are off the hook... and the chain, too... + Close to a Best Buy ("and a Michaels" interjects my craft-prone wife) Boos: - $$$ It's pricier than other movie theaters around - They are regularly short staffed (2 of 4 ticket booths open on a Friday night), so be ready for long lines. - No automated ticket machines, so be ready for more long lines. - Cleanliness is slipping in recent years - Arm rests on the seats don't fold up (what? I like to stretch out...) If you are looking for a place to see a movie and it's near you, I say, "Buy some pretzel bites and have fun, you crazy kids!" but if you're willing to drive a little more, there are a few other theater options (see Carmike and AMC Traders Point) that might treat you to a better experience. read more

Closed ticket window and selling tickets at concession caused huge backups. Arrived 15 minutes early and still couldn't make show. We bought tickets for a later show and came back. Theater hadnt been cleaned. Very dirty, dirty seats, popcorn all over floor. Very cold in theater, couldn't enjoy show. Ticket taker didn't give stub back so you have to remember theater and seat numbers. read more

I was really getting bored on last Sunday and this was the closest theatre from my place. I bought the movie ticket for the Jurassic World 3D. It is pretty good theatre. I thought the theatre would be really crowded as it was Sunday but to my surprise there were hardly very few people. They have almost 15 screens. This was a huge place. The movie theatre was big but the screen is little small. I really didn't find the seats comfortable. I wish they were little bit more comfortable. They look really old and they hardly recline. I always prefer AMC over this theatre. read more

Love this theater. Seats are comfortable and clean. My only issue is that if you're seated in the first two rows, it is assigned seating, you can't see the screen. Staff is friendly and I absolutely love that this theater hires people with special needs. Being a parent of a special needs child myself, it definitely brightens my day to see this! Now you have to buy your tickets at the concession stand along with everyone who is buying concessions. Horrible! I was 30 minutes early to the theatre and I stood in line for 30 minutes just to buy tickets. Obviously, they did this to increase their concession sales. This place feels like the definition of "OK" to me. It works. This is our go-to for a quick movie because of the location. I just feel like it could really use a remodel, give it some TLC, it is feeling old at times and a little dirty. But the screens still work well, seats are ok, but cramped. I have actually been impressed with the staff here, despite usually being teenagers, they don't act like they hate their jobs which is refreshing. The popcorn is good and I like that they have giant slushies available [I am a slushie addict]. Just don't come here expecting to be wowed. I just worry that without a revamp this location will struggle with bigger and nicer theaters popping up. Oh, one random thing about this place is that someone here draws on the box office to advertise a new movie, it is a unique touch and the artist is pretty good! read more

I've always liked this theater, even though it's become a little more run down over the years. The matinee prices are great and staff is always very friendly. Also, this theater is substantially more quiet than Rave in Plainfield and others I have visited. Maybe this is because we usually go to matinee movies and the crowd is more 'mature' in age, I'm not sure. read more

Do not come close to this place on a weekend. They make it so you have to buy your ticket first which is fine if the staff was enough and the line moved along. We finally got in the door enough where I moved to the concession line that was so packed that it was up against the wall and they have 2 lines. I moved about 2 people in a 15 minute span and by that time the line to get into the actual theatre had merged into the concession line. We finally said forget the popcorn and got in the ticket line. The floors were a disaster the theatre was dirty. The seats are comfortable and I do like the stadium style seats but this theatre really needs to work on their staffing issues. read more

Have been going to the Regal in Avon for several years now and have been watching as it has slowly gone down hill. Cleaning is now a thing of the past apparently. This used to be the cleanest theater that I had ever been to. I love the seating, the space and the smaller theater areas, but the past 3-times we have been there, no one was selling tickets. Everyone without a ticket was in line at the concession stands. I understand a lot of people purchase online from Fandango, but it's no longer a convenience because of Regal. You come to the move prepared, but have to wait in line for popcorn/coke, whatever and wait with the crowd that buys movie tickets on site. C'mon Regal, clean those floors, and hire a couple of out of work people to man or woman the ticket booth! read more

Where to start...Upon arrival there was a huge single line waiting for concessions. Completely out of frozen drinks. Floors behind concessions. In lobby area, in hallway, in bathrooms, and in the movie theater itself were all covered with trash and unkept. Bathrooms were out of soap, most stalls out of toilet paper, and standing water on floor and counter tops. Once I got to my seat there was melted chocolate in the seat. I did have a movie attendant clean the seat off. The previews had vertical lines throughout the screen. Thankfully that did not carry thru to the movie. Very disappointing and disgusting. Absolutely terrible experience. Paid $30 for one of the employees to send us to the WRONG theatre room TWICE!!! The movie nor previews had started at the movie time so we went and asked again if it was the right room and she said yes. Well, almost an hour later the WRONG movie started playing so we had missed over half of the movie we wanted to see. When we went to ask for refunds, one of the managers was so rude and did not want to help us at all. The other manager finally decided to help us and gave us a refund for our tickets and that was it (we'd also bought concessions). No apology or anything. Will NEVER come back or recommend this place again. read more

I've been going to this theatre for, idk, 15-20 years. I watched it go from amazing to crappy. Heard they had renovated the seating and what not, so I thought I'd try again... Took my kids here on a Tuesday evening to see Toy Story 4. A Tuesday. It's important to know. Walk in, it's filthy. I don't mean dirty, I mean FILTHY NASTY GROSS. Hadnt been cleaned all day, possibly multiple. Zero question about it. Go to get my tickets, and the guy seemed pissed that I had mobile tickets. Thought it was just me, but even my wife asked why he was so angry. Whatever...bad day I guess. Get to the concessions... no joke, standing soda on the counter. Like someone had spilled it, and it hadn't been cleaned. Mind you, I haven't seen a single other person in this place yet, and there were maybe 10 cars in the parking lot. 4 kids behind the counter. 4. Order popcorn, drinks, 2 candies for the kids. Go to grab everything, and napkins (butter popcorn + 2 kids =necessity)but the dispenser is empty. Go to the other 2 'stations', nothing. No napkins. Ask the girl behind the counter for some, she tells me they are out. Out?! Of napkins?! So I ask for something. She literally sighs, and says are paper towels good enough? Wtf?! I'd get if I was an a hole about it, but I wasn't!! We go inside the theatre. Immediately greeted w an overflowing trash can, and popcorn EVERYWHERE. Get to our seats, and immediately my 4 yo daughter starts complaining her hands are sticky. I look over, her seat is covered in old sticky soda. We had some wipes, wipe it off, sit down. Gee how nice for $50 in tickets. As were waiting for the movie, I hear the people behind me complain of their sticky chair, so we gave them some wipes.....then again to the people a few seats down from us. CRAZY. So at this point I'm in full blown observation mode. Popcorn and trash everywhere. Definitely hasn't been cleaned in a minute!! (This was showing #2 of the day, so it was all old stuff) Movie starts. But did it? Idk. Volume is still super soft, and lights are still on. Bout 5 min in the movie, it finally got dark.....still quiet tho. Quiet as in my 4 yo asking why it's so quiet! 2 kids, so ya we hit the bathroom. I did round one, men's room was foul! I had to hold my daughter in the air while she went potty, because it was so gross. No soap in the dispenser either....... Round 2, nominate the wife. Women's room is better surely. Nope. One stall was broke , and my wife ended up doing same thing I did......but hey, it had soap at least! As a business owner, I know the youth aren't the greatest workers. But GEEEEEEZE. You need to fire and rebuild that staff. All in all, drive 10 min to the AMC in Plainfield. It's worth the drive. read more

I used to frequent another chain, but have recently become fond of this theater. Today they put the cherry on top. I had purchased two advanced tickets for Thursday night. My plans changed l, so I exchanged them for tonight at 7. Well... my plans changed yet again. I went to the counter, they refunded one ticket and knocked $3 off my other ticket. I was able to watch my movie when it was convenient for me, and they happily accommodated my crazy schedule. They are always friendly, but the amount of extra customer service I demanded just to watch a movie proved they will go over the top. We will continue to use this theater. Haven't been here before last night in probably 3-4 years. I was shocked at the "assigned seating" - did not like that part at all! However, upon sitting down was pleasantly surprised at the very nice remodel done in theaters with hardwood floors and nice comfortable recliners. Very Comfy. Was clean inside. Spent $24.00 on two adult tickets for a late movie. Before going in, we ordered a large drink, large popcorn with butter, and pretzel sticks with cheese. As we waited 10 minutes for the pretzel sticks with cheese we started snacking on our popcorn and it was COLD! We saw they were making fresh so exchanged it - it was still cold! The pretzels arrived 10 minutes later and as our movie started and we began eating them the pretzels were ice cold and raw in the middle - spent $27 on the food- $3.00 more than our tickets! Very disappointed- if we go back we will check food before going in the theatre. read more

The seats are great. This is one of those cinemas with the newer reclining seats. It also has assigned seating. But they still haven't figure out a couple of what are (these days) basics. Specifically, the concessions lines are not the single queue, serve who's next style; they don't have a "refills to the front" sign/policy; and they don't have self serve soda fountains. In my last review I said I'd try to avoid this place in the future. Well, that's what I did... until they had the right movie at the right time when nobody else did. So I ended up here for the first time in like, two years. They made some changes during that time, namely changing their theater seats to these fancy leather recliners. So holy crap, now I get plenty of room and put my feet up? I'm down! It really makes for a nice movie-viewing experience. The rest of the theater remains pretty untouched - same dated look and bathrooms that make you want to get out as quickly as possible - but that's to be expected, I suppose. The staff have all been friendly the last few times I've gone, but I've also been there at off times so it's hard to tell how they'd be on a busy night. I also recommend downloading their app / signing up for rewards. You get some discounts and stuff, so it's worth spending a min downloading it on your phone. Overall, I really like some of the changes this theater has made. The new seats are a huge plus and they have some of the best popcorn in town. I won't hesitate to come here again, but will probably avoid busy nights until I can be sure they'll have staff to support it. read more

This theater is within walking distance of our home, but we often go elsewhere when we go out to see a movie. It is definitely getting older and feels worn. The service has been fine, nothing exceptional either good or bad. It is on the higher side of ticket pricing, even matinee costs are pricey. Concessions are expensive and candy is sold in those rip-off boxes that look huge but are internally packaged with very little actual product. A box of their skittles cost 4x's as more as a bag from a store, but has 1/2 as much candy. I get that stuff is more expensive at a theater, but that is just deceptive. The screens and projection systems also seem dull and not very sharp or crisp. Even 3-D shows seem muted and lack the 3-D depth I see at other theaters, again I think their projection systems are old and seem like what is now available for in-home use. Especially if you see a movie in one of their smaller theaters this quality drops off even more. I saw Edge of Tomorrow in one of these small screens only a few weeks after it was released and I felt it was being projected from a mid-range home projector from Best-Buy. It is a safe theater and we often will drop off our 14 year old daughter to see a matinee with some friends. But at this point the theater really needs to upgrade their systems to match their upper end prices, or become a mid-value theater to match its worn out systems and interiors. I would rate the theaters in Metropolis, Brownsburg, Traders Point, Danville, or Studio Movie Grill far above this theater in quality and value. I don't mind spending higher prices but I expect the quality to match. read more

Those seats are soooooo nice, but walking out there were like 5 ceiling tiles missing or broken. It made the place look super trashy.

After multiple horrible experiences at Studio Movie Grill my family was in a need of a new theatre so we tried the Regal Shiloh Crossing 18. We were NOT disappointed. Spacious, clean, friendly staff, and recliners for each seat...this place rocks! I really wish there could be a food and adult beverage service here, but that's okay. Since the renovation of leather electric recliners and more space between rows, we have become regulars of this Regal Theater. Super relaxing, delicious popcorn and fairly swift and friendly staff...my main complaint is there is no designated line for Fandango and online ticket purchasers and we always have to circumvent the line and go around. Its been so packed that it becomes really annoying to try and navigate through the crowds. It won't keep us away however. read more

The management was nice here. I said it was super cold in the theater and he turned up the heat right away. I expect it to be cold, so I dressed in layers, but it was VERY cold. My hot chocolate was not doing the job. I watched two movies back to back while my car was being worked on a Best Buy. The person at the counter was impressed I paid for both movies. For a few years I would drive further away just to avoid this movie theater. It was always dirty and it seemed like all their stuff had been around since before I was born. I ended up going to see a movie here on a Tuesday because they have discounted tickets (it use to be $5 but now they're 7.80) but they have really turned this place around. They have the reclining leather seats and it was super clean when I went in there. The staff was super friendly as well. I wouldn't say this is the best movie theater ever but good enough now, You can't pick your own seats anymore though, that's a little annoying but besides that not much to complain about. read more

I don't know about all these other reviews, this place used to be the movie theater to go to. If it weren't for friends that go to this theater I'd choose elsewhere. It just seems sub-par compared to Carmike and AMC theaters. My latest visit I walk in and had to use the restroom before purchasing my ticket and the manager half way yells 'can I help you? Can I help you?' As I'm walking to the restroom. As though I'm going to walk into a movie without paying. I've been to movies here where the audio was all messed up and when I brought it to their attention nothing was done. It looks poor that they can't even hire employees for the ticket booth and snack bar. Instead the employees are rushing back and forth between getting people popcorn and tickets. read more

I have visited this theater several times in the past but last night was the first since they introduced the recliners. While my husband and I enjoyed the new seating, we did NOT enjoy the ASSIGNED seats. We were sat next to an older gentleman who thought it was acceptable to not only take off his shoes but place them in front of my recliner so that I couldn't even sit down comfortably (he was seated before we were). He made absolutely NO MOVE to rectify the situation so we moved. And then had to move again once the rightful ticketholders came into the theater. Luckily our showing was not sold out - I would have requested a refund. You missed the boat, Regal. People should be able to sit wherever they want. read more

We rarely go to the movies but hubby and I both wanted to see the new James Bond movie. I bought tickets online which was quick and easy. The theater was clean and the staff was pleasant but I am taking a full two stars away because it was absolutely FREEZING in the theater. There was no reason for it to be that cold. Theater had posted showtime (marquee in theater as well as Fandango and other web sites)for a showing on Saturday at 1:30. When we got there, the showing was canceled. A man who claimed to be the manager had no excuse, basically saying that they could do that and it happens. Wasted my morning. read more

A while ago my brother and I saw spiderman homecoming opening weekend. I think that the showing was at 9:30pm. When we got in the theater, it was extremely hot and small. We thought it was weird they put a blockbuster summer movie in a theater that sat probably 50 people, especially since it was opening weekend. We noticed that the air conditioning either wasn't working or was turned off. When someone went to complain, they put a fan in the theater and that was it. Then, when the commercials started, the screen wasn't clear at all. There were a bunch of purple and green lines across the screen and we couldn't even tell what was playing. They fixed it for the movie or else I would have walked out. The nice seats aren't even worth it. You have to pay close to 13 dollars for a ticket while they're 10.50 at the amc in Plainfield. read more

This theater is in severe needing of some updates. From the outside, it looks like a scene from The Walking Dead. The ticket prices are higher than the nearby Carmike theater but it is much older and does not seem to have had any updates since it was built. read more
