Eh, not a fan. Everyone I know absolutely loves this theater, but i don't see it. Why pay an extra $5 per ticket to go sit upstairs in crappier seats that don't recline, just for the privilege of buying a $10 beer? Not to mention that you get a really bad view of the screen. I've been here a couple times with my toddler for matinees- I've enjoyed every time! We buy one seat for the two of us because she is small enough and doesn't love being "far away" from me in the dark room. The seats are separated by large immobile arm rests that make a cozy date night seem a little distant, but are actually really nice when it comes to stranger distance. It is very clean (perhaps because I attend the first show of the day?) and I'm grateful for that. I'm actually a fan of the reserved seating. I didn't think I would be, and for one of the movies it didn't matter because there were four other people in the theater. But just think- no showing up rushed from dinner worrying about getting seats together. read more

Went 2 times on this trip, we are visiting. 1st movie was Witness Protection. Popcorn was good and food upstairs good. We had normal seats. I didnt notice the leg room issue and i am almost 5'11"...there was only one other person there though. Second visit, got there 15 min early for Ice Age in 3d...my mom ordered popcorn upstairs at the bar and asked for lots of butter (oil!) and it was so salty!! I think they just sprinkled extra salt on otherwise already salty popcorn. Wish I knew about the carmel corn...Right off as we are placing the order one of the guys working the bar says we are too late to have it served to us. We go in to watch the previews and after 10 min, i go to gather the food to truck it into the skybox and here is the guy with a tray of food. I felt bad for him that i left a small tip since i figured i had to do the shlepping! Oh well. Make sure you are clear when ordering..extra butter but no salt! Kids burger plain means no cheese. When they say there is no service right before ask them if the mean alcohol or food or both! Nothing was cheap, 5 people for matinee was $75 in the skybox..another $45 for food and 2 were kids meals...this was a pricey event. Wish they had the $1 beer thing, i would have opted for that instead of the $7 glass of wine. The decor is really nice!! Would like to try the Landmark to see what the fuss is all about. read more

The theater itself is new, comfortable and conveniently located. They offer some unique services like balcony dining, which is creative and has potential. They haven't worked out the dining/movie experience at all. The lighting in the balcony is very poor, so it's difficult for even young people to read the menus - you see everybody using their phones to light up their menus. The wait staff are inexperienced and not well trained. The way that it's set up, they have to have everything served before the movie begins, yet they don't prioritize, they forget simple things like napkins for finger food. All in all, what should be a relaxing experience ends up being slightly annoying and distracting. Add to this that the theater seems to employ some sort of passive cell signal blocking without any notice to the patrons. The signal is fine outside and disappears inside. Now, I don't like people using their phones during a movie, but many people have them silenced and available for urgent contacts - parents, doctors, etc. Making phones useless in a theater without notice is irresponsible. There should be some notification made before you enter the theater so that you can decide. Thankfully there are many choices for quality theaters in Littleton - this one isn't at the bottom of my list, it's off the list entirely. read more

First of all, I think that the theater here is great. Good service, clean, etc. That being said, their national office does not seem to care about their customer base any more. I have been trying to contact them for more than a month to fix an issues that my wife and I have both been having with our unlimited membership. The call center is "closed" according to the recording.They IGNORE emails, they say responses may be delayed; but, let's get real. If you are trying to provide support to customers, do really allow messages to go weeks with NO response? read more

They deserve a couple stars for cleanliness and friendliness but this theater has tanked since being purchased by Regal. A few years ago it was a bustling and exciting evening out...the food in the restaurant was fantastic and the prices were reasonable. When they were bought, the food quality changed and the prices....not even in a ballpark. So everyone knows that you overpay for wine in restaurants, but my 9 Oz pour of Chardonnay was $22! I asked the bartender and he said that a 9 Oz pour is DOUBLE the cost of a 5 Oz....hmmmmm. I could walk across the street to Hodsons and get the same Chardonnay for $14. Which is why the restaurant never has any customers and Hodsons is too busy to get in. For the record, I asked what a full bottle cost - $52 for a bottle of La Crema. Going forward I am planning to go to Landmark...movie tickets are a buck or two more expensive, but the bar is reasonable and you get free popcorn and soda. read more

So after my constant complaining to my husband about how I miss the old menu they finally updated the Regal menu with more options including bringing back some pizza and onion rings yay! No drunken chicken boo-hoo :( but it's still much improvement over the initial Regal menu. This is now my go to spot again my number one place for viewing a movie. Besides the onion rings the only thing I've tried so far is the spicy chicken sandwich which is a little thin and not very spicy but again much improvement. I can't wait to try other stuff. read more

Hollywood Theater - SouthGlenn Stadium 14 - A Haiku Time for a Movie? A Beer and a Bite as Well? Get Out of My Seat I am very partial to this theater. Its one fo the best in town. Here is a list of why: 1) Reserved Seating - Buy your seat, they save it, walk in when you want and sit down. No waiting. No rushing. AMAZING IDEA. 2) Premier Seating - Sit in the balcony, watch the movie, table service with food and drink. 3) Price - Nearly the same as any other chain, except you get way more 4) Did I mention you can have a beer and sit in the movie and watch? 5) Again, reserved seating. I cant stress this enough. The food wont win any awards. Its average bar food. The drinks are reasonably priced. The service won't win medals for speed, but it is a movie theater. And the ability to buy tickets to Avatar (or other blockbuster event) and show up 5 minutes early and get great seats cannot be under estimated. Oh and you can have a beer AT THE SAME TIME read more

This is a pretty cool theater. It's part of a very shiny outdoor mall that includes a lot of bars/restaurants. Very nice area. The first thing to note is that every Tuesday they offer half-priced tickets, so you can see first run movies in a really nice theater for $4-5...huge plus. They offer student, senior, child and even military discounts (I really think more theaters should offer the latter) The food is a little pricey, but the popcorn was really good. I can't speak for the Sky Box because the premium seats were sold out when I was there, unfortunately. The seating is assigned, which, again, I think is great. You could choose a seat online and then go to the bar next door without having to worry about getting there half and hour early to get a good seat. Great system. The theaters are very nice, great picture and sound, no problems there. I thought the balcony for premium seating looked really cool, I wish I could've sat up there. Overall, this is a very nice theater. Concessions are a little pricey but the experience was good and I will definitely be coming back. read more

Yeah, the reserved seat in the Sky Box area are a bit pricey, but they are worth it. The service has been consistently good and the prices for beer are good once you've forked over the bucks to sit upstairs. My only complaint so far has been with other patrons that somehow feel that since they paid to sit up there that they can talk on their cell phones during the movie or not make their kids behave in public. That costs them one star. read more

So I went to the movie theater last night to watch "Mad Max". My pre-assigned seat that I arranged to sit in was broken and did not recline. Those seats are terribly uncomfortable unless they have a functioning recline feature. Even the gross seats at cheaper theaters have a little intended "give" for the back and head support. Overall, I kept having to adjust myself to feel comfortable and this made my movie experience not very enjoyable. If the seats are broken and do not recline, there's no reason to go to this theater since it is a value added. I'd rather go to a theater much closer to me that has minor reclining functionality than sit in an uncomfortable and broken seat that is designed to recline but does not or frankly, I'll go back to the Landmark Theater. read more

The people are great and I love the reclining seating but.....this place is filthy! For what one would think would be an amazing theater it is beyond gross!!! The bathrooms are constantly disgusting (and I have complained more than once to management) and the theater - there was a used wadded up snot rag stuffed half way down my seat, popcorn and napkins all over the floor. Its ridiculous. And if you look around - half the employees are just standing around talking to one another. Especially the MANAGEMENT!!!!! This place needs someone to come in and take control and clean it up!!! read more

We probably would have had a better experience if our party coordinator had actually picked the correct movie in the premiere seating. Instead, we arrived to find out that our movie wasn't in the premiere theaters, so we spent another 10 minutes attempting to decide on another movie. By the time we bought our tickets we missed the order period to have our food brought to us. Had to walk up to the bar, which was vacant for a minute before a girl came out to take our order. Got our beers and went to sit down. My husband liked the fact that our premiere first row seating (there are only two rows up top) looked down towards the screen, but I didn't. I prefer the seats at Landmark, front and center. I've only been to both theatres once and can't clearly remember how nice the seats were at Landmark, but the seats were pretty nice at the Hollywood. We had to walk out and pick up our food. On the way, my 6'8" husband hit his head on a protruding speaker (i.e. poor lighting). I know that the movie was in progress and my husband is above average height, but it was upsetting :( Didn't use the restrooms. We went on a Tuesday night so the parking garage was pretty empty. Looked like it might be valet only on the weekends? I'd definitely go again. Despite the poor timing and head injury, I did give the place 4 stars. :) read more

I went here with a big group recently to see a movie there was probably umm 10 of us. When we went to go get out tickets they were like you have to choose your seat. I was like I just can't go sit down. We have assigned seating?!? What? So we choose our seat and then went and sat down, where ever we wanted. So that concept seemed a little arbitrary. I did not try any of their snack nor have I ever been upstairs to the restaurant but I here good things. One good thing is if you sign up for their email newsletter you get free coupons for popcorn and drinks like on your birthday or your university. This place is close to home and a reasonable priced theater. I will go again but I 'am still going to sit where ever I want. Ha assign seat me. I don't think so. read more

Nestled comfortably in the middle of things at The Streets of Southglen, Hollywood Theaters is quite the attraction. It large neon sign and clean modern interior takes you away from the suburbs and throws in a bit of classic chic. I highly recommend going on a Tuesday when tickets are half off. Unlike most theaters (AMC, Elvis, Mayan) seating is reserved ahead of the show time. The 14 theaters offer not only standard movie seats, but for an extra charge, VIP comfortable seating is available up top. They provide the traditional overpriced movie snacks. But also have a "Sky Box" restaurant as well offering overpriced burger and fry type food. Overall not worth going out of your way over, but it is great for the local community to go watch cinema. read more

I usually went during the night. This is a great location if you want to go for a date and want to just watch the movie. You don't have to hurry, or advance in reserving your seats because this location is quiet and there is not a lot of people. Which is a big plus for people who like to watch with out any disturbances (babies crying, people talking, people throwing popcorn) haha. The recliners are ok, it's that just the "chair arms" don't move up, unlike the ones at AMC. I usually don't eat theater food, such as popcorn or nachos or food, so I wouldn't know their food quality. If you want bar food, go to a bar or a restaurant. read more

You can pretty much consider all other reviews before mine obsolete. This used to be the best Theater in the Denver Metro for their food and dining in the Skybox, alone. My wife and I live in Thornton and have made this theater our date night -- in spite of the drive -- every other weekend for four years. Unfortunately, the corporate management at Regal, after they bought the theater, decided that the gourmet food they used to offer wasn't trackable. They needed to be able to keep better inventory of their food (straight from the mouth of the manager). They decided they needed to replace the gourmet menu with cheaper food (think Coscos boxed food and you'll understand) and an atrocious, nearly uneatable food. Also, for all of you gluten free or paleo diet folks, your only choice is salad. This place used to have all kinds of gluten free choices. It's clear that Regal doesn't give a damn about their customer or about customer loyalty. Our date nights will no longer include the Hollywood Theater. As long as Regal chooses the extra pennies in their pocket over customer loyalty, they will never get my money again. Not at this theater or anywhere. Goodbye to the best experience you could ever possibly have at a theater, and welcome to Corporate shit. read more

I HATE RESERVED SEATING. I don't know of any theaters that still have general admission which is a shame. There's nothing good about the reserved system in my view. I only go to movies anymore in the afternoon weeks after a movie is released so hopefully the theater will be empty. Under those circumstances, this theater is ok. I mostly am knocking them for their staffing. The kid at the concession stand today was clearly very stoned causing excessive chatter which, in spite of being a former stoner extraordinaire myself, I did not appreciate. My kid was like "he was friendly!" Sigh. Maybe 5'6", dark hair and glasses. Oh and a comment about cleanliness -- for our visit today, everything was very clean including the bathroom. read more

The Regal Theater at the Streets of Southglenn is very good. All standard seats are recliners. This makes it the only theater we go to anymore. The "premium" seats disappointed me, despite the rest of the theater. The added cost means you can get food delivered to your seat, if you are willing to splurge on the food. The seats here however do not have a great view due to the balcony location, you have less legroom than standard seats, and the seats are not recliners. I highly do NOT recommend choosing these seats. The rest of the theater is pretty good. read more

Yet another update, because I finally experienced the Skybox seating. OMG - do it! It's $5 more than a regular seat, but well worth it for certain movies. The seats are comfortable (so comfortable I was fighting sleep the whole time even though the movie was entertaining). The view of the screen is ideal. The carmel corn with chocolate is absolutely delicious - get it! And, the piece de resistance was that we enjoyed a bottle of wine while watching the movie. Does it get much better? This theater is possibly one of the worst ones I've been to only because there is at least two screens in that place that need replaced as they are really dull and dark. So dark you can hardly see the picture. Nobody else seems to notice this when I've been there. It's been a few years since I've been back because the final straw was when I went to see the new Star Wars Force Awakens and could hardly see the picture because the movie has a lot of "darker" shots in it to begin with but I missed a lot of the movie because of this. Fix your screens guys!! I know it's all about making money but yer ripping people off by not updating your equipment. I'm not sure if they ever got replaced but I won't take my chances unless they formally announce that they have updated some of their screens or projectors (whatever the issue is). I will admit that I never complained about it or tried to get my money back but after the second time of this happening in two different rooms, I decided to not return. Otherwise the place is nice and everything else is great- just a crummy picture is all and that's a HUGE thing. Looking at all the lower reviews I only saw 1 where they mentioned the picture being too dim.. how can people not notice this?? Am I just more observant w this stuff? I mean, to me it's a HUGE deal when you pay so much for a movie you wanna see and it's so dark you can hardly see what's going on.. I don't get how more people don't notice this compared to other theaters with good screens. Anyway, most of the low reviews I'm seeing have to do with lack of cleanliness and I don't really remember the cleanliness so I won't speak on that. I don't know any other movie theatre with comfortable, reclining seats that can be adjusted with a touch of a button. The movie theatre is crazy nice and full of luxury. We went to see "Angry Birds," and we went on a Monday night. Surprisingly, or so not, it's very dead, very empty and that's a plus on us. The staff treated us well and we enjoyed the movie very much so. The menu isn't much of hoot, if you ask me. They mostly sell small to large nachos and extra cheese for a little over a dollar. The menu has hot dogs, a meal for kids called "zag box," or "bag," drinks that vary on sizes and that's pretty much it. You can buy very expensive candy and snacks, but it's literally $14 for a small crate of nacho chips and a side of nacho cheese. I wouldn't recommend the snacks at all. Eat before coming in. Otherwise the theatre is decent with opera looking rooms. I say this because they have balconies with curtains and theatre like these are known to be huge! No one ended up watching AngryBirds so it was just him and I and it was fantastic. read more

Took the kids to Frozen II, and someone's "sick" joke apparently was to turn down the temp in the theater to align with the movie title...everyone in the theater was freezing and complaining. Staff failed to address it timely. Today I have a kid home from school with a fever. Come on Regal you can do better! read more

I never knew that assigned seating was something I would love so much! Buy your tickets ahead of time, go have a drink at Bar Louie, and saunter over to the theater at you leisure knowing that you won't be relegated to the front row. Rocking seats are comfy, movies are loud and the upstairs lounge seating is worth the extra coin. Oh, and my son works there, so if you see Jack tell him his dad loves him. :) read more

We loved the recliners and that you can get reserved seating from home. We didn't love our concessions experience. At other Regal theaters, the concessioner prepared our pretzel. This time, our attendant microwaved it and handed it to us. No salt. No cup for mustard. Odd. We also knew that we had enough points to upgrade our drinks, but we're told we did not. A quick check once we got home... and we were correct. We could have argued the point, but it was so obvious that our attendant needed additional training and was essentially on her own. Advice: take a bottle of water and skip concessions. read more

I really appreciate the comfort of this theatre. The noise volume of films is just right, the reclining seating is comfortable, the air temperature is not too cold and not too hot. They could benefit from staffing up a bit at the bar on busy nights but it's no biggie. It's a good theatre! read more

Very nice theater, particularly the premium seating area which has huge, comfy leather chairs and retractable trays. It also has complete menu and drink service right in the premium theater up to a certain time before the movie starts. If you'd rather, with or without premium, you can order food and eat & drink in the bar upstairs. Try the fingerling potato salad or the Cubano sandwich with fries. Go for the latter only if you are really hungry. My family has ordered other menu items as well and never found anything they didn't like. The caramel corn (with chocolate too) is especially delicious! read more

I think 2.5 stars for this theater, right in the middle, because it's just your average theater. It doesn't boast anything particularly fancy or better than others, but I'm leaning towards 2 instead of 3 because I have a gripe about the seating system. What I had heard before I came here was that it was possible to reserve your seats. I showed up Sunday evening to see a flick with my cousin because it's right next door and seemed convenient enough. I was standing in line behind 2 couples and was a little irritated at how long it was taking them to get tickets. I found out why when I made it to the front. When you buy the ticket, a seat is assigned to you. You can then trade up your seat for something more desirable. In the case of my cousin and I, who bought our tickets separately, we weren't placed together. The clerk told me not to worry about it as there weren't many people with tickets to that show, but had there been, we would have had to waste time picking where we wanted to sit, finding decent seats together on a computer screen with people waiting on us. I'm not sure how long this practice has been going on, or if this is the wave of the future, but I feel that this is terribly inefficient. Enough so, in fact, that I probably will file them at the back of my list when next I plan to see a movie. If there was anything offered to offset this cluster-foul, (better seats, sound system, free popcorn or soft drinks, discounted seat prices on certain days, etc), I'd be more willing, but the mess on a dead Sunday night was enough, I can't imagine what a prime night would be like. read more
