It added to the whole experience, and it's disappointing that they got rid of it. The food has also taken a huge step backward. I can't think of a single menu item that still tastes good, and whenever I do eat here, I end up with a stomachache afterward. The theater itself is starting to show its age too. The screen feels small compared to other theaters, and many of the seats are cracked and worn. The worst experience, though, was when my partner and I came to watch a movie and there was a mouse running around on and between our seats. We immediately went to management, explained what happened, and requested a refund. They refused, saying there was nothing they could do. That response was honestly more upsetting than seeing the mouse itself. As someone who came here often and is even a Magical Movie Rewards member, I expected much better customer service. That experience completely changed my opinion of this theater. I haven't been back since, and I can't recommend it to others. If management isn't willing to address cleanliness issues or take care of loyal customers, there are much better theaters to spend your money at.

We super enjoyed watching at movie at 9:20 am as it left the remainder of our day wide open. There is plenty of parking and the theater is in a really nice and safe area of town. Obviously, not fresh and apparently rarely purchased. I went back to exchange it for the freshly popped popcorn, and they couldn't exchange it, they had to issue a refund for the cheddar to give me the freshly popped. They are so slow. I'm trying to go to my movie, which starts in two minutes. No exchange. No nothing. This is not customer service. A poorly run theatre, Go to Alamo.

The festival grounds are beautiful and so unique from other Renaissance Festivals! It is exceptionally well run, especially for a seasonal operation. Parking, traffic, maintenance, entertainment are impressive. Walking through the festival felt like being at Costco on its busiest Saturday of all times. I actually enjoy being somewhere that's so popular. A packed event creates a fun energy. However- the festival has become a victim of its own popularity. Even at 3pm, food lines are 100+ deep, and last hours. The problem isn't admission capacity but the ability to feed guests. Demand has simply outgrown the infrastructure for food service. I left after a couple hours without buying food or drinks, simply because I wasn't able to. This represents lost revenue for vendors as well as a worse guest experience. I'm not sure what the solution is. But I'd really hope the owners can figure something out. The festival keeps admission and food reasonably priced, and it's clear that a tremendous amount of work goes into creating such a wonderful event. Unfortunately, at this point, the festival has become a victim of its own success. Hurts me to type this, but I think they need to think about limiting attendance or increasing ticket and food prices enough to reduce crowding and make the experience more enjoyable for everyone. Tickets are $15 for 10 samples of wine from the various businesses along Mainstreet in Parker and a souvenir wine glass. A lot more than 10 business participate in the walk as well, so you have a chance to swing by different ones each time if you'd like. They had several bands playing along the way. People in Parker always seem to be so friendly too! My only "complaints" were that sometimes the signs directing you to the participating businesses were a little hard to see. You are provided a map of all the businesses, but who wants to use that?! Also that while the name includes "walk" they do not want you walking about town with your wine. Understandable. A nice volunteer informed us when we proceeded to walk and sip. Oops! Def going to keep this in mind for future Friday fun!
