Came on a Thursday mid day for a complimentary screening courtesy of Focus Features. We're always a bit apprehensive about a theater employee knowing about studio screenings so we try to arrive a little early, which we did today. Yes, he did know there was something allowed, but that a manager would need to handle it. We stepped to the side and within a minute a manager appeared and did his magic. Pleasant, professional and efficient. After the final credits rolled, we stood up and saw the uncourteous "blue hairs" seated behind us had their popcorn all over the seats and chairs. But someone was standing by to get it all taken care of. Again, efficiency. Chairs were big, comfy and reclined. The screen image and sound were good. The lobby offered a wide variety of snacks. If we were sugary sweets addicts, or into snacks during a movie, we'd probably be quite happy with the offerings. Plenty of free parking all around this theater and easy in/out with the street light right there. We would come back to this theater because of the friendly, efficient staff, comfy chairs and non stick floors. Cheers! "CC"

Always plenty of easy parking at this theater. We came on a Tuesday afternoon, so not too crowded. They have special Tuesday rates $8/ticket with the Regal Club's free-membership card.

This Regal Theater is such a cute small theater. The location is great with lots of parking. The snack bar has a great variety to choose from. Ticket prices are average. Restrooms are clean. The seating we got for our movie were sofa recliners with plenty of room. This is a great movie theater.

I've been coming to UA of La Canada for as long as I can remember. It's a small town theater vibe, and feels warm and cozy. We came in with two adults and two children for a matinee viewing of Zootopia 2. It was my son's first time at the theater and my neices second and they had a blast. We purchased one large popcorn, it came out to $12.00 or so, which honestly isn't horrible for a theater. We were services very quickly at the concession stand, then scanned in very quickly for our tickets. The employees are very nice. The theater itself is on a very low grade incline compared to other bigger theaters, which is very nice and ADA accessible, but sometimes the seata in front can tend to be in your peripheral view, which isn't a concern as much in the theaters where you go up stairs. I will say I still prefer this because it feels so spacious and you get a ton of leg room even after your seat is reclined. My only complaint, is that the theater need some updating. The seats have sustained some wear and tear over time, and while the facilities, including the bathrooms, are so very clean, it's just all a bit dated. I do think that it does add to that small town theater charm. Also, can we take a moment to appreciate how much parking they have? At the end of the movie I paid $3 cash for each kiddo to spin the wheel and win some merch that they had a surplus of. They were out of some of the prizes on the wheel, but the nice young gentleman handling the wheel let kids choose whatever they wanted, I thought that was cool! I look forward to bringing my little one again soon!

The seats are comfortable and face the screen perfectly which tbh in some theaters you don't see . I love coming here with kids , family or even my self. I LOVE THE COMBO DEALS !!!!!

When I order "fresh" popcorn, I expect it to be at least a bit warm but this popcorn was pretty cold. It's still decent, but buttery popcorn is just not as tasty when it's cold. We thought it was interesting and unusual that there was no one checking our tickets to let us into the theater. You could basically just walk into the theater without showing any proof of ticket. The staff seemed pretty attentive but then again I didn't order much. We were allowed into the theater about 5 minutes before the showing, but it makes sense that they probably have more to clean due to more plates, cups, etc. The bathrooms were okay, missing toilet seat covers and low on toilet paper, but they reeked of urine. My husband mentioned the men's restroom being very dirty. Also, I would've preferred it to be a bit cooler in the theater. They definitely had AC but with the summer heat, it would be nice to keep it a little cooler in the theater. The seats are definitely a bit worn out and some have been taped, but they are reclining and still decent. Overall, I'm not sure if I would return here but it's really not as bad as the other reviews made it seem. Maybe it depends on the day? I'm not sure.

It was not as pictured in there online catalog or even what was shown at the ordering kiosks or menus. The popcorn was stale. The jalepeno flavor we got for us adults was gross and soggy there was only 3 slices of jalepeno inside. It's like they just dumped juice on top and threw in whatever they had in the kitchen. The nacho cheese sauce had chunks of tomato inside and plastic. Yeah, there was Plastic inside the sauce. The churros were hard so my kid couldn't eat them. The burgers were decent however they poured that same nacho cheese all over it and it took away the good flavors with that weird nacho medicine melted crayon taste. The fries were the part that we tried to get through because we were hungry. The sweet tea we ordered was not regular sweet tea it tastes like watered down grapefruit and jasmine flowers. It was chemical tasting. My daughter wanted mozzarella sticks and they came rock hard and cold. The food was awful for almost 200 dollars! The lobby was pretty when we came in I was like wow how awesome, but when we got into the auditorium the seats had food and napkins popcorn and trash on the seats and floor still. I was a manager for another well known theater so seeing this let me know the staff isn't doing their job at all. I kindly asked for staff to come wipe down our seats and trays to which she saw the mess and said oh geez okay yeah yeah let me come back and wipe it down. Our original seats had nacho cheese on the seat part and the arm rests so of course we're NOT sitting down. We were waiting for 15 minutes for them to come clean it. in we decide to move to another row since there is no one to else in the auditorium to watch the movie . When we moved, we saw that row also still had trash and sticky trays of spilled icee drinks from whoever previously sat there. She came in and started spraying the cleaning solutions on the trays with no warning and sprayed my husbands shorts which caused bleach spots now. She sprayed over the drinks which I hurried to grab my daughters but couldn't get my cup in time. That was very upsetting because why wouldn't you say something and let me move my food/drinks first?? Also hello?? Spray the rag away from guests faces ?? We already spent so much and traveled hours away to come here and see this and make it special for our daughter so we stayed through the movie entirely. When we were leaving there were roaches everywhere and a random centipede looking worm on the staircase. The trash cans were overfilled and the restrooms were so bad! We will never come back here again.

The volume inside the IMAX auditorium was at an extremely dangerous level. It wasn't just "loud"... it was concert-level loud and physically uncomfortable. My Apple Watch actually warned me that continued exposure at that level could cause permanent hearing damage. That should never happen in a movie theater. At multiple points, we had to cover our ears just to sit through it. It was overwhelming and distracting instead of immersive. I went out to ask staff if the volume could be lowered and was told it was just for the trailers--but once the movie started, it stayed just as loud. That's not acceptable. There's a big difference between immersive and unsafe, and this crossed the line. Customers should not have to worry about hearing damage or other hearing problems at a movie theater. Management needs to address this and bring the volume down to a safe level. That said, the theater itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, the screen quality is great, and the movie was amazing. This would have been a perfect experience if the volume had been at a reasonable level.

Sounds amazing... until you show up and it's already full... which was what happened. Our movie started at 6:00 PM, we arrived around 5:20 PM, and the garage was completely closed off -- they weren't letting anyone else in. Luckily, we found parking about 3 minutes away and paid around $5, which honestly wasn't too bad. We came here for the second part of our Valentine's date night and watched Wuthering Heights because hello... Margot Robbie is my favorite girl. I haven't been here in over 15 years and WOW -- I forgot how absolutely beautiful this theater is inside. The lobby is spacious, classy, and honestly feels kind of luxurious. There are pool tables, a full bar area downstairs, and spaces where you can hang out with drinks and good company before your movie. We headed straight into our theater and ordered food from our seats (also... water is complimentary, love that). We were seated in our own little pod -- super intimate with two seats, cozy setup, and yes... a blanket. It truly felt like rich people movie night. Shoutout to our server Jake, who was outstanding from start to finish. Great service, super attentive, and made the experience even better. Food-wise: The Boss Burger ($20.5) was a solid 8.5/10 -- hubby really enjoyed it. Although, there were no pickles or tomatoes in there even though it was in their menu. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap ($17), and I'll be honest... it was the only downside of the night. It was a bit cold and tough, and the tortilla-to-filling ratio was a little off for me. I'd give it a 6/10. If the tortilla was a bit warmer I'd think it'll be able to hold onto the filling a bit better, but that was meh, for me. BUT the fries? Piping hot, crispy, and delicious. And Jake even brought us ranch, BBQ sauce, and extra ketchup without us having to ask twice. Overall, this was my husband's first time here, and it definitely won't be our last. We had such a great experience -- the ambience, service, and overall vibe were top-tier. Can't wait for our next cozy movie night here!

The seats were way too close together, and the person next to us had belongings spread into the shared space, making it very difficult to get in and out of our seats comfortably. Because of how uncomfortable the situation was, we decided to leave during the previews before the movie even started. We politely explained the issue to the manager and asked if we could either move to different seats -- even less expensive ones -- or receive some type of accommodation such as passes for another movie. Unfortunately, the manager refused to help in any way and would not issue a refund, exchange, or even offer courtesy tickets. For a theater that markets itself as a luxury experience and charges premium prices, I expected much better customer service. Other theaters like AMC are usually much more understanding and willing to work with customers when issues arise. Instead, we left feeling frustrated after paying for a movie we never got to watch. Sadly, this experience completely turned us off from coming back.

It's our preferred way of watching movies instead of going…read moreto a theater - we get to bring our own food/drinks, rest comfortably in our car, bundle up with blankets if it gets cold, control the volume, etc. It was our first time trying out Electric Dusk Drive-In in Glendale but we were up for an adventure. Tickets are bought online and range in price. Astro turf seating is $13 per person or $20 for two. No car parking is included (so you have to park outside the event) and you have to bring your own chair or rent one from them. Early Bird Car Entry + Driver is $28 ($20 for the car fee, $8 for the driver). Additional passengers are $8 per person. VIP is $75 and covers 1 car and 4 people for front row seating (just behind the astro turf area). Doors open either an hour or an hour & a half before showtime. When we scoped out the place, there was a sign that said exactly when the doors were going to be opened in the driveway. Since we had time (we were a wee bit too early), we went around the corner to get some grub. When we came back, we were second in line roughly a half hour before opening. Not too shabby and I definitely recommend showing up early to get a good spot (unless you're a VIP fancy pants). The line formed shortly after and wrapped around to Central. Pro tip - don't be a jerkasaurus and try to cut in line! The employees do notice anyone trying to pull a fast one and will make you go to the back of the line. Electric Dusk Drive-In is located off of Central Ave and California Ave in the old Sears parking lot. You cannot turn left into the parking lot on California! You have to enter from Central so that you turn right into the lot and don't block traffic. It was entertaining seeing so many people not grasp this simple idea. Once inside, the employees will scan your tickets and direct you where to park. If you want to back up and watch from your trunk, tell them and they'll help you out. If you're worried about your car battery dying out - bring your own radio or you can rent a transistor radio from them. If you listen via your car radio and it dies, they'll help jumpstart your car after the show. For restrooms, they provide two porta potties in the back side along with a hand washing station. If you're feeling munchy, they have a concession stand near the entrance but I'd encourage just getting your food beforehand from any eatery around the area (The Great White Hut is directly across the street). If you're thinking about trying Electric Dusk Drive-In, stop thinking and just do it already! They have a wide variety of movies to choose from (some are double-features) so you're covered no matter your taste of genre. It's such a fun nostalgic night and I can't wait to go back!

There's this familiar, almost haunting feeling as I settle in, like the quiet echoes of a simpler time when life had fewer responsibilities and the weekends felt endless. It reminds me of the freedom of youth--those days when we'd get together just to laugh, talk, and sometimes just sit, high on life and each other's company. Coming here alone gives me space to think, and maybe I'm pining for something that's already slipped away. There's a beauty in watching everyone gathered, all ages connected in the moment of a shared movie under the open sky. Couples sit close together, holding hands behind the truck beds, while kids are practically bouncing as their parents grab popcorn and candy, their joy so pure and unrestrained. This place is a gem, perfect for unwinding, reflecting, or even sharing a quiet evening with someone special. The staff here are warm and attentive, and the food choices are simple but affordable. With plenty of room between cars, you get enough privacy to feel like you're in your own world but not so alone that you can't feel the presence of others sharing the night. It's a place to escape, to remember, and to take life just a bit slower

Despite the older structural look, Cinemark did retroactively install electronic Luxury Lounger reclining seats in the auditoriums. Because it sits slightly off the beaten path compared to the massive Regal over at the NoHo West complex, this Cinemark is famous locally for being a quiet, uncrowded haven during weekday matinees. We went to watch "Backrooms" a creepy movie about a dimension with endless luminal spaces. The theaters halls matched the movies vibe perfectly! After we finished the movie and walked out, It felt like we had stepped into the horror movie itself, large empty, completely silent theater that's something creepy you notice about this theater how completely silent it is other places play, soft music, especially in the bathrooms. This location is dead silent. You could hear a rat breathing.

We saw it in theatre 5 and upon viewing other reviews, SOMEONE ELSE had this same exact issue/experience in the same theatre 10 days prior! Meaning there was no extensive cleaning done at all. On top of that, I hated that the screen for our movie was up so high you needed to crane your neck up to watch the movie even when being fully reclined back all the way in the seats. The popcorn was stale with no flavoring and I put a bit of butter because I didn't want too much fats. The pepperoni pizza was surprisingly good and cooked well. However, the rest of the experience made this movie theatre a 1 star for me instantly.

I then told him that she's a service animal and he asked what task she performs as is customary. But once I said her task, he laughed at me and said he had never heard of a dog who "does that". I told him I have a disability that requires her and he eventually let me in. But he had an overall negative rude condescending demeanor and didn't seem to like working there. This was highly triggering for me and actually triggered my CPTSD because it never feels great to have your disability or needs not taken seriously. Not everyone's disability is visible and for it to be laughed at felt very insensitive. It makes me not wanna go there that much in the future now because I know it's always gonna be triggering for me if that worker is there. I couldn't relax the whole time I was there cause I felt so distressed by this.

From the moment you step in, you're surrounded by incredible beauty and tranquility. The gardens are impeccably maintained with so much variety.. stunning rose gardens, one of the largest camellia collections in the world, and the highlight for us was the Japanese Garden. It felt like stepping into another world. We also enjoyed wandering through the oak woodland and catching the beautiful seasonal blooms. Everything was in full glory! We brought the kids and they had a blast riding the little train (super fun and a great way to see more of the grounds). The staff was friendly, the paths are easy to walk, and there are plenty of benches to sit and soak it all in. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing day date, family outing, or even a peaceful solo walk. Admission is reasonable and totally worth it. We'll definitely be back for the special events and different seasons. Highly recommend!
