For years, I believed the Regal Cinemas in Warrington, PA to be a hidden oasis from my otherwise dull suburban life. In my love-starved and addled teenage mind, the movie theater simply overflowed with free popcorn, finely curated indie-film screenings, plush leather chairs, and beautiful ushers regaled in 1950's stewardess dresses. Everyone who worked there was simply gorgeous from the snack vendor to the box office and janitorial staff, all smiles and Vidal Sassoon slow-tracked quaffs of hair, and why wouldn't the staff be overjoyed to work in such a place? After all, this is where my first date Renee Swanson lived. She's still there, in fact, growing more beautiful by the hour as she stands and puffs little clouds of condensation in the autumn cold waiting for me to escort her by the arm through the ornate lobby and take her down the well-lit aisle of Theater #4 to watch Molly Shannon sniff her armpits in the opening scenes of the SNL flop, Superstar.  Thanks to a seemingly unjust God, the date never happened. Instead, I was arrested at a Dunkin Donuts on Route 263. The events leading up to this incident are a series of unfortunate high school foibles seemingly ripped directly from a bad John Hughes special. There was, at first, the brilliant idea raised by my friend Lauren: "Okay, so if I'm in love with Bobby Westover and you like Renee Swanson, let's just go on a double date." "I don't know." I said. "I don't even know her." "You don't need to. She's my friend and I'll ask her. She'll say yes for sure. Trust me." From there, things moved rapidly. Bobby and Renee both begrudgingly agreed to hang out with total strangers, and meet up at the Regal after a half day of school. Bobby's brother would drive us to the movie theater, and we'd finish up the date and catch a ride home with whatever kid had sports practice that day. All seemed perfect, that is until Bobby's report card came in the mail, and his father punched him in the face so hard, the young line-backer couldn't see out of his swollen black eye for three days. "The date is off." Lauren said between sobs in the hallway after the standardized tests ended. "Bobby's grounded." I of course protested and begged her to reconsider. "Come on. I mean, we bought the tickets, right? We've got to go." Lauren sighed and threw me an olive branch: "I guess you can still meet us if you want. Mrs. Swanson's going to drive us, but Renee didn't tell her you were coming, so you'll need to find your own ride there. "Fine." I said. "I'll be there." So, like a wandering Cassanova, I figured I'd just walk. The movie theater was just 3.5 miles away, and I still had about an hour and a half before the movie started. I made it about a mile down the road before needing to take a bathroom break and do something with my awful wavy hair. After washing my hands and throwing water over an erect cowlick, I exited the bathroom to order a bottle a water at the front counter. Sitting at a nearby table was a Warminster Township Officer sipping a small cup of coffee. "Hey, kid. Come here a second," said the officer. "Aren't you supposed to be at school today?" "It's a half day." I replied, before sitting across from him at the table." "Yeah? What for? Today isn't a holiday." "We had standardized tests in the morning." "I see. Okay. Where are your parents?" "My parents?" "Yeah. Who drove you here." "No one. I walked." "You walked. On 263? That's a pretty busy road to just walk, sir. Why don't you come with me for a minute? Let's check in with your parents and see about this supposed half-day of yours..." It turns out Warrington Crossing is now a massive cinema complex touting 4K and IMAX screenings of the top blockbusters around today. The concession stand alone is huge, and the parking lot holds well over 100 cars. It's an impressive movie emporium for sure, but how on earth will Renee know where to find me when I get there? read more

I go to the movies about once every 4 months. The reason I only come here so little is because the price of the movie tickets are pretty expensive. I remember when it used to be a lot cheaper. I usually now wait for the movies to come out on TV. The service here is always good and everyone is willing to help if you need to find your theater. The popcorn is also fresh and always the best in my opinion. read more

Clean spacious theater with good screens and sounds. Raised movie theater seats so every spot had a nice view of the screen without being blocked by anyone. Tickets and snacks are fairly expensive but the service was great. read more

The manager here- Sean- is incompetent. My friends and I were seeing a movie, and some boys in the last row were being disruptive. Instead of actually solving the problem, he kicked out the last three rows and ruined the movie for everyone, even people watching the movie respectfully. read more

Pretty decent theater. The place is pretty clean and there is a good amount of parking. We usually go to Amc but we were in the area. It was early and we were seeing a children's movie so there wasn't a line to pay for the tickets. That was a different story for the concession line, it was packed! I was shocked that they only had 2 people working. Just like anywhere else the prices are ridiculous but it is what it is. The popcorn was junk, tasted old and wasn't hot. No free refills like Amc. The most annoying part were the seats. They're terrible!! They kind of recline but not really. My daughter barley had the weight go hold them down. Weird.. If we're in the area again and we want to see a movie, we may stop in again, not really sure. 3 stars.. read more

First I'll say, been going there for years, and despite what I'm about the write, I'm sure at some point I'll be back, but it might be a while. First of all, with the new reserved seating idea, that granted, many theaters are now using, it takes forever to buy tickets. I watched one old lady literally take 3 minutes just to understand she had to pick a specific seat and then make up her mind. As I bought my ticket, the cashier tells me the air conditioning was down, which was just awesome considering I was seeing a 3 hour movie midday in June with about 90% humidity. Was sweating by the end of the movie. They also ask you for a dollar donation for something after just gouging you for the ticket price. On to the concession stand, super slow service and then they ask if you want to round up to the next dollar when they gave my total...I laughed in her face. This isn't Goodwill, you just charged me $8.50 for maybe $3 worth of popcorn...get the f*ck out of my face with that. Next they'll be putting out a tip cup. The popcorn was stale and at least 1/3 of the bag was kernels or those tiny inedible pieces. I sneak juice boxes in to avoid paying $8 for a cup of ice with a little soda on top. The seats are old, small and uncomfortable, they need to upgrade like most other theaters have. In 2019 it's getting harder and harder to justify spending the money and putting up with the hassles instead of just waiting 3 months for these movies to hit streaming services and watch from the comfort of home. But seriously...fix the fucking AC. It's almost summer, I never want to watch a movie and sweat, its part of the reason we go to movies sometimes, to get out of the heat. read more

While the remodel of the lobby definitely gives a futuristic vibe, the positives end there. The layout for the lines for snacks creates crowding and in a post Covid world, not a good practice. So I can live with snack stand layout and the typical over priced food, but the new seats are a deal breaker, The seats really don't recline like in other theaters and the height difference from one row to the next does not get you high enough to see over someone's head. I am like 6ft tall and had the guys head in front of me in the screen, can only imagine what a shorter person would deal with. Considering the cost of a ticket to go to a Regal theater and the options of other theater chains with much better seating, this new layout and seat style is a loser for me. This movie theater was subpar. I do not lie when I tell you the wait for the concessions was similar to a line for potatoes in Ireland during the famine. It was insane that I waited on lines for 35 minutes. The theaters were okay, semi-dirty. But nothing I haven't seen before. But the overall problem was the staff who just didn't care. I was struggling opening the movie theater door and two people looked at me and kept walking. No one behind the concession counters rushed. They appeared a bunch of bored high school students doing service they don't care about doing. read more

Saw an IMAX movie there yesterday and it was so loud that it was painful. My ears are ringing today. I am angry that I exposed my kids to that volume as well. I measured sound in the theater at over 120 dB with my RTA app. (I am a sound technician) Exposure to sound levels this loud could permanently damage people's hearing. This is a blatant disregard for customers, and frankly I think it is because it is being run by someone who is not experienced enough to understand. I expect a movie to be loud... but having to watch a movie with your hands over your ears is NOT COOL. It was actually PAINFUL! Hearing loss is no joke and I will NEVER expose my children to your theater again. read more

Love this location bcuz it's never busy when we go. don't know how they stay in business but this is our favorite spot. love that they give jobs to handicap or challenged people, usually the person taking your ticket. they do a great job and makes me happy to spend my entertainment dollars here. Went to see John Wick 3 on opening night. I believe it was in theatre 13 or 14. From the beginning the 3 large lights along the right wall were flickering. My best friend and I thought nothing of it figuring they would be turned off when the movie started. We were wrong. All 3 flickering the entire movie made it next to unbearable. It was so distracting we'd miss parts of the movie. We would've asked to speak to someone after the movie but it was so late that we both had to get home. I contacted Regal asking for someone to contact me however that never happened. read more

This is a lovely spot to catch a movie. It's a clean theater and the chairs are comfy. They offer Imax as well. What's really cool about this place is that they have an air hockey table! Maybe I'm just a big nerd but this excited me. Everyone who works here was very nice. The lady in the front is slow as molasses but nice nonetheless. And there you have it! read more

Nothing I hate more is to buy expensive movie tickets and forced to watch 1/2 hour of commercials before your movie starts. The ticket buying process is slow especially when you have to do seat selection - really dumb idea in my opinion. I only come to this theater in the unusual case where a movie I want to see is not played at the County Theatre, the best movie house in the area. The over commercialization of Regal with the arcade games and expensive concessions is really offensive to me. read more

For the age of the place, it is very well kept and clean. The seats could be a little more comfortable if they reclined just a little. As usual, drinks and popcorn are priced pretty high but name a movie theater that has items priced reasonably. I tend to frequent this place on random weekday nights. This way, I avoid large crowds, rowdy teens, and crying babies (for the most part). I don't know about you, but I like watching a movie without any rude interruptions and having plenty of leg/arm space. Nothing is better than having entire row, even theatre, to myself. Yes, I am greedy. My only gripe is that the arm rests don't fold up (I've been spoiled by Neshaminy's seating). Like any theatre, the concession stand is a ripoff.. BIG ripoff. But, what can you do when you're suddenly craving snacks or your tummy won't stop growling? You succumb! ...Or you can wait. I know I can't. When my stomach growls, I am forced to listen whether I want to or not. Because of this, I've learned that the quality of the cheese and nachos have declined. The nacho chips are now served in a potato chip-style bag that is sealed. Sooo with that in mind, why in the world do they taste stale? *balled up fist in the air* Oh, and don't get the frozen fruit slushies... just don't. I thought I knew better, but apparently not :/ Aside from the food, the theatre is pretty clean - no sticky floors. The photo booth there is cheesey, but I like it. Sometimes, I like to check out the little 50 cent vending machines to see whatever knick knacks are in there. read more

You do not get to pick your seats, then you get stuck in the first row and can't see the screen. I paid $50.00 to end up with a head ache. Why even have seats that close to the screen? The screen is blurry when you are this close too. Total waste of money. read more

I was here for the advanced screening of "The Heat." Movie was great and this is a great theater, clean, spacious and friendly service.

I wish I lived close enough to Center City to do most of my movie viewing at the Ritz but, alas, we suburban folks have to trek to the Regal which might as well be it's own small metropolis. I like that this venue has 22 screens which means there will most likely be at least one movie that everyone in your group can agree on. This also means that they can show very popular movies on more than one screen, thus lessening the possibility of sold out shows. I enjoy the stadium seating and relatively roomy chairs that recline just enough to be relaxing without allowing the person in front of you to end up in your lap. I usually skip the concession stand unless I really want to part with $20. Honestly, with the purse I carry, it's easy enough to smuggle in my own Junior Mints and my Klean Kanteen water bottle. The concession line is also usually infuriatingly slow because the teenage cashiers seem to find it a prime time to flirt with one another as they sling jumbo sodas and buckets of popcorn towards beleaguered parents. I know the price of movies these days is a major bone of contention with most folks, but it's not like it's a secret or anything. You can always count on dropping at least $10 per ticket (more if you're going to pre-order via Fandango or something) and another $20 for snacks. I recommend the matinees, taking advantage of the Regal card, utilizing student ID's, or just investing in Netflix if the cost is a major hardship. A major bonus is the fact that they also screen operas via simulcast from the Met. All the glory of Don Giovanni without the cost and hassle of going to NYC. read more

I came here to watch Interstellar on IMAX (which by the way is an amazing movie) and got here a few minutes before the movie started and was still able to get tickets, find great seats, and only managed to miss 1/2 of one preview, which is pretty good for a last minute movie decision. Now, the seats here are awesome. They're comfy, and they lean back so the backs aren't stiff and fixed in position. Also, there's good legroom for your legs (obviously) but also for those who decide to pass in front of you to get to their seats. No need to stand up to allow someone to pass (unless they're enormous). The screen itself, though technically IMAX didn't feel as big as some of the IMAX theaters I've gotten used to living over in LA. It's a big screen, don't get me wrong, but not immersive big. The sound was a bit too loud. I think other people on Yelp has mentioned the volume being really high, so I'd like to corroborate that view. It's nice that you get to stand inside so if it's super hot, or super cold outside, at least you'll be protected from the elements. Though my one complaint was that on a Friday night, with big movies opening, there didn't seem to be that many ticket booth attendants. So the line moved slower than I expected. Also, during the movie, the attendants would come in several times and shine their lights at the screen, which was annoying. I get that they're looking for potential bootleggers but there's no need to shine the light on the screen itself. Haven't tried their concession stand but I'm sure it's the same as any other Regal theater I've been to. All in all, decent theater. Just saw A movie this evening. Theatre was clean. Good thing we bought our tickets in advance as there was a long line. $2 convenience charge when u buy on their website. We spent $20.75 per adult to watch Aquaman in IMAX. Although the screen was great and sound was great seats did NOT recline. Disappointing to pay so much for tickets when we could've been more comfortable elsewhere. read more

This is one of my most favorite movie theaters. Its big where they play all of the new movies that come out + its the only movie theater around the area. Theaters are clean, seats are comfortable and the entire theater is pretty clean. I miss going to this theater as i'm never around the area anymore. read more

Pretty decent theatre. It's big, which means lots of movies and showtimes to choose from. Main reason for my review though is parking. Last time I went it was absolutely jam packed and I had to park something like 200 yards from the theatre in a spot reserved for the Friendly's or whatever restaurant that is in the corner of the lot. My suggestion is that if you're going at a peak hour you get there early because parking can be a pain in the buns! read more

This is my go to place to watch a movie. This theater is huge, has multiple options to watch a movie of your choice, and is clean.

Place is solid. The food is overpriced and they are basically robbing you but the theater itself is pretty clean and sanitized. The seating are good ans all the major movies are usually here. The bathrooms are pretty clean too but I always feel had for the ladies cause the line feta ridiculously long. Good place to come on a Friday night to apens time with friends or family. The parking lot is pretty big and I love how there are a lot of places to eat near it. They also have a 10% off on cold stone with the proof of movie ticket and who doesn't like ice cream from cold stone. The movie times are very diverse and they'll have options throughout the day. This place is pretty expensive by Lansdale standards, but they almost always have the movie I wanna see, even if it's an indie in limited release. Stadium seating means I can always see, and the theater is always really clean. I've never really had a problem with movies selling out either. 20 million times better than any given movie theater in NYC. read more

We saw a movie in theater 12. Very large. It was clean, warm, comfortable seats (rocking chairs) and plenty of room between rows. The staff was great. Friendly, helpful and cheerful, but a bit overwhelmed. Popcorn and snacks were good. Soda was cold. :) Tickets were easily purchased online. The downside was the family of about 15 that sat in the theater near us. They chatted with each other during the whole movie. read more

My experiences at Regal 22 were nothing short of an excellent movie going experience. I feel the steep prices are not always justified, like a 5 dollar bottle of water, but their popcorn, drinks, and snacks are high quality but typically still a little expensive. The people at concessions are very quick and helpful. They always direct you into purchasing something to go with what you've already purchased like candy or other deals they have going on. If you expect to have trouble carrying all your concessions to the theater I am pretty sure you can get a tray to make it easier to hold it all. The quality of the food was always okay and I could tell it was prepared fresh. Their popcorn is always awesome. The auditoriums where you view your movie and the building as a whole, are both always clean and I was pleased with the overall experience. I will definitely return. read more

This movie theater has gone down hill fast in the past few months after new management has taken over. It started out first where you have to select your seats. Even if you are the only two in the theater. Really slows down the process of buying your ticket. Plus I have seen it confuse the elderly in front of us. The people that work there just don't care. Theaters are dirty, and the concession stand gets a zero for customer service. If you ask them to make you something they have issues with it. Don't go by the menu board. They only want to hand out the premade popcorn, sodas and candy. If you are waiting on something to be made, they tell you to go to the end of the counter and wait for your food. But then they give your food to other customers when its ready. Such as pretzels, nachos, etc. Has happened to us. 3 times now movies have started with no sound. A member in the audience has to go find management to let them know. And they don't restart the movie. One time movie was 45 minutes late because they didn't have the code to unlock it. They did issue free tickets that night. Talked to management. They say they know they have problems, but it's going to take awhile to fix. So by saying that, you just told us to go elsewhere. Which we are going to do. Too bad, an excellent movie complex ruined by new management. Also people are not properly trained. One night while purchasing tickets person said they don't give senior citizen discount. We told them to look behind him at the ticket prices. He still said they don't give discounts. Charged us full price. We went into the theater, asked for Manager. They gave us a refund. Reason for issue was person selling tickets was not trained. They were short handed and he was the only one available. read more

I came here on good Friday and the lines for tickets went by quick yet the lines for the concession stand were out of control. It took at least twenty minutes to get popcorn and luckily I was early. This is one of the closest movies theaters near me but it is always always cold. Plus sometimes when I come here the sound is way too loud. read more

Place is ok to see a movie. First, their stadium seating chairs are configured in a backward angle and it hurts my back to sit reclined like that. The seats should be upright and reclining if the patron so chooses to recline. Secondly, the lobby needs to be cleaned better. Too much trash and popcorn on the rug. Third, a family went in ahead of time as a previous showing was ending, and they put jackets on the seats to save them for the next show in which they had tickets. The employee allowed them to do this, and it was unfair. They should have waited in line like everyone else to get a seat. Fourth, theater was too cold. I had a jacket and I also needed a blanket. Fifth, the usual....people gabbing behind me and not knowing how to be quiet during a movie. Sixth, the usual...food is expensive and a small soda is $5.00. read more

This honestly was one of the worst movie experiences ever! We bought tickets that were reserved. When we went to the theater, our seats were taken by another group of people. Turns out they double booked our seats. According to the people sitting there, this wasn't the first time it happened to them either. We ended up moving four times during the whole film and missed entire beginning. When we talked to customer service, they said this was a mistake but not on their end. They did not give us any compensation for our troubles and their mistake. This was a very disappointing experience. We expected more from this theater. read more

Really disappointed with a rude manager who after I purchased $ 150.00 in advance tickets was told I could not get the free mini movie posters for a child's party. Despite seeing hundreds of them on the counter, he gruffly dismissed my request with " no that's for IMAX". The truly odd thing is the ticket seller apologized for the gruff manager. The clerk had good customer service skills, the manager never made eye contact and was rude. The posters, possibly a nice party favor are free other theaters. What a disappointment. The theaters are all clean and spacious, but like any other movie theater, everything is so overpriced. Seats don't recline but they are for the most part comfortable. Many of the employees are kind; the only negative experience I have had was when I forgot my license and was carded for a rated "R" movie (I am almost 22 years old) by a sassy young girl who had to be no older than 17 (RIGHT after she rung up my friend who is two years younger than me and DIDN'T card him!). Parking can be a nightmare, so leaving extremely early for a movie is a necessity - especially because it is located off of County Line Road. There are plenty of showtimes and seats so chances are you'll never have to worry about anything selling out. Overall Regal 22 is pretty nice if you have some money to spend for going out with the family. read more
