My kid spilled and entire bottle of nail polish remover on a table, the entire bottle. The nail polish remover is covered under the plan, but because she wiped it up with a dry paper towel (to stop more damage) it voided the warranty. They consider wiping with a paper towel IMPROPER cleaning. Instead the company would rather have the nail polish remover continue spread, drip down the side of the table and onto the chairs and floor, causing more damage. Went back to the store (which did not have any customers in it) to ask for help and the two employees did not even look up from their computer to acknowledge me. Completely IGNORED me. After I explained the situation, they never answered until I said "Say something" The only thing the one guy (who sold me the furniture) said (without even looking up) was that I should never have wiped the nail polish remover up with a paper towel. I guess I should have let the nail polish remover drip onto my wood floor and chairs! At least have the decency to look at someone and acknowledge they are talking to you. What the store doesn't tell you when you purchase the warranty, is do not do anything. Let the damage sit there until you can call the company and reach someone on the phone. Even if that means letting nail polish remover drip onto your wood floor from a table. Never new a paper towel would destroy the warranty! read more

I visited my first Regency Furniture and home decor store recently. Wow! BEAUTIFUL displays everywhere- I immediately went to the back of the store, searching for a new bed. A very professional, pleasant young woman met me there. Parys is her name. She listened intently while I told her our needs. She pointed out three beds, that in her professional opinion, would meet our needs. I tried each of them, chose the obvious, (adjustable frame), and perfect mattresses. Such a pleasant experience - thanks to Parys!! She gets 5 stars for sure, and the store gets 5, as well!! I will be back! Now you all try it! read more

Went in during their Labor Day sale...25% off plus free shipping and they pay the tax. Chose a sofa. Sales lady went away to figure the price (while I figured it quickly in my head). She came back with a price about $15 under what the sign on the furniture said. Knowing that wasn't 25% off, I questioned it. She said the sign must have been an old sale (wasn't a SALE sign) and that it was a good deal. Shipping was $90. I questioned that. She said you have to spend 3k to get free shipping. (Nothing about that anywhere). I mentioned the sign price again, hoping she'd honor it. She kept to her story about the sign being "old". I walked out. Shame you don't honor your prices. Listen I LOVED our sales girl,she was absolutely amazing and very helpful couldn't ask for anything more from a salesperson and I actually left a great view about HER. BUT..... delivery was an absolute nightmare. My husband and I were told that our son whom is not 18 would be at the house for delivery and made sure that would be okay, we were told it would be. Come delivery day (after already taking old couch to dump the day before) our son was not allowed to sign for it we asked for 5 minutes for our Aunt to come to house to be the signer,they refused. I called the drivers not even 10 minutes later they said they were already out of the area and would not be turning around. Asked if there was anyway to drop it off at the store. No. Told me my huaband said "NOT to make the delivery", which was an absolute lie. Told us we could drive to the warehouse, to which I said "then I want my delivery fee money back" he said and I quote "No, not going to happen". I asked to speak to a manager he told me "No, sorry you can speak to the warehouse". I then got hung up on because I told him "I spoke to the Warehouse I'm asking to speak to your manager".... this is how we treat customers after spending a couple thousand dollars. This wouldn't have been a big deal if SOMEONE would have at least tried to work SOMETHING, ANYTHING out with me considering my family doesn't have a couch to sit on. But not a soul was interested in helping their customer because they got their money. Where to start? This was not only the worst experience I've had in a furniture store but probably the worst sales experience ever. I had stopped here after already scheduling furniture from Value City after seeing a sign for 60% off. Initially I was glad I did as I found furniture I liked better and paying a better price. I had told them before we started that I had an order at Value City that was already scheduled for delivery and needed them to meet the same timeline they already had before I would cancel that order and commit to them. During the entire transaction I was assured MULTIPLE times my timeline would be met and I would be taken care of. I ordered my bed set and living room set, my living room set would be delayed but it was also at Value City so I was ok with it, but the bedding set I needed on August 20th as I had other things being installed and took off already. I was told the furniture should be in warehouse by August 16 so that shouldn't be a problem at all. I had called all day August 15th and 16th without an answer whatsoever. I called the Frederick Store and was redirected to Order Support. When I spoke with them I was told my order wouldn't be ready until August 26. When I was finally able to contact the store I found out my dresser and nightstand were at the warehouse but now the bed is delayed until November. They offered me the floor model and told me I had to come pick it up. When I arrived they refused to discount the floor model and in fact had charged me $330 for the floor model when my deliverable bed was only at $209. They told me that the dresser and nightstand would be delivered on August 26 with the living room set, and I told them this is not what we discussed and would not be acceptable. I needed the furniture on August 20th. They had the nerve to charge me another $90 for a second delivery (Value City offers this service complimentary with the white glove delivery, and they knew that and was told they would work something out). They didn't reimburse me for having to come pick up the bed or reduce the delivery charges since I had to pick up and set up myself. Before I left the store for the second time I was assured that my bedroom set (which I paid EXTRA to have delivered on time) would be delivered August 20. I called the store August 19 to confirm time only to find out that they never scheduled the delivery. When I called they said there was nothing they could do and the next time I could get delivered was Saturday August 24 (the day I am moving). I requested first thing in the morning as in order to get other things in my room I need that furniture to be in place. They told me I'll get whatever time they can get it and it could be up to 8:00pm. I was given repeated excuses that they were busy due to liquidation sales and things were overlooked. I was in the store over an hour that day and there was not too much business that anyone could not handle or anyone should've been overwhelmed. The store manager Jack and the office manager were completely unsymphathetic, never offered any kind of discount or reimbursement for the issues. (In fact when I asked Jack for a discount on the floor model he told me I should be lucky he's doing me a favor by giving it to me...Keep in mind the store is closing that location to move and the floor model has to go anyway). These people were so nice and great when we were spending all the money when we made the sale but after it was too late to go back to Value City or to Grand Furniture, they totally changed their tune since they already had their money. These people are liars and crooks, they should be ashamed to treat customers like this for a buck. If their intention is to screw over customers to make a Sale I congratulate them. I'm now stuck paying over $2k in furniture while lining the pockets of those cheats, liars and crooks. Flat out fraud to tell me they would take care of these things and to cancel Value City when they never had any intention of following through. Don't let yourself get taken like I did read more

I am very upset with this store. I recommend that you don't buy there warranty not worth it. I bought a sofa that ran us 1900 dollars. It is just my husband and I. In about 3 months I notice the back and seat started to sink in. And about 6 months I notice the back started to really sink in and small marks started to show on the back. At 9 months rips started to show up. Went on to have it taken care of. Had to take pictures and send in and after 3 trips that cost us gas. They just said it was natural ware. All I have to say is if there stuff does not last longer then 8 months then they better sell it cheaper then that. I still think it was being stored during covid and started to dry rot. I don't know why it did what it did. I will never buy there again and will make sure all my friends and family knows how we was treated. Never even came out to look at it. read more

However STILL waiting for the ottoman, which I was told 1-2 weeks and it has been much longer with ZERO communication. I have tried calling the store MULTIPLE times and no one answers. Ordered a sofa and love seat 7/19 and was told 2-6 weeks for delivery. I called at the 6 week mark and was told it should be there that week or the week after. That time has come and gone and I called today to see what was up. I am now told it won't be until the second week of NOVEMBER. I told the gentleman I spoke to this wasn't acceptable and ask what I needed to do to cancel my order and he could not give me an answer, just that he would have a manager call me back. Our experience buying the furniture was great, and I hope to update this review when I receive some resolution, but as of now, I'm less than impressed, as many other reviewer have said the same. I only wish I'd have read the reviews before my purchase. Good news is I bought everything on my Citi card and it won't be difficult to get my money back if this isn't resolved to my satisfaction. I'll hold my breath for this managers call, if this review is still up, you can call me the blue boy. UPDATE: The call from the manager did not come after 3 days, so I called them back. I'm told that if I cancel my order, for the furniture they don't have, and won't have until NOVEMBER, I will have to pay a 30% re-stocking fee/cancellation fee. I am told that if 10 weeks expires and I don't have my furniture, they will give a full refund. 10 Weeks will be Sept 27th. It is unacceptable to me that they will not refund my money now, knowing they will not be able to fill my order anytime near that date. I have agreed to wait, as opposed to cancelling the charges on my card, at least for now in hopes that they find a way to fill the order in the next 2 weeks. They did respond to this, and other reviews I left with an email address to contact the company. I sent them an email, and they never responded. We ordered our furniture on 5/23 and we still have not received it. Today is 7/15. We were told it would only be a few weeks. When we called to check on it, then we were told it was a special order, which we were not told when we ordered it. Also, if we cancelled, there would be a 30% restocking fee. Interesting, since this is a "stock" item and is supposed to be coming from a warehouse. Even with the COVID issues, this is unacceptable. We will NEVER buy from them again and never recommend them either. read more

On November 14, 2020, I took delivery of a living room set I bought totaling $3,432.97 (including long term insurance). And on 3/5/2021 I noticed the cloth cover was shedding. On 3/6/2021, I took the cushion with its cloth cover to the store where I purchased the furniture. The representative at the store was polite and helpful. She took all my information, including the picture of the cloth shedding and told me she would forward it to the customer service for issue resolution. On 3/14/2021, I got an email from the sales representative at the store informing me a service ticket has been created and she told me they would be reaching out to me. The next day, I got a voice message from the service department asking me to send them a picture of the shedding and to call them without leaving any name to ask for. I sent them the picture. When I called back several times, the voice mail tells me to enter the extension for the person I was looking for. I was not giving a name. Nor was the voice mail allowing me to go to the operator. On about 3/12/2021, I received email from the service department, telling me that they could not do anything for me because the damage appears to be from wear and tear. I was totally flabbergasted and furious; wondering how a brand new furniture just barely four months old could be damaged from wear and tear. I called them again and again, and could not talk to anybody or leave a message. So my advice to everybody is to be careful with this business. read more

I loved the big man rocker recliner. I was pleased with delivery and set up. After a couple weeks I went back and purchased couch to match. The showroom was impressive. I purchased a sectional on 6/19/2020. I called to check in two times to see if my order was in... On August 10th I called in and was on hold for a considerable amount of time... After hanging up they phoned back and told me my order had arrived... They would not be able to deliver it from what would have been a month past the original expected delivery date... I had asked since I had waited longer than anticipated and had a vacation planned and asked if they could deliver any sooner, they said we can schedule delivery for September... Being the hot head that I am I decided to cancel the order, but I had to go into the store to do that. Of course I waited twenty minutes until anyone could get to me but they finally refunded me my money owed minus 10% since I cancelled the order... Well let me tell ya, if ya plan on going to Regency Furniture for anything plan on waiting at a minimum of 8 weeks for delivery and horrible customer service... read more
