I hired a guy to install a "smart home" system in my house. Cham does it all. He wired our house for new A/V equipment while it was under construction, and finished out the job with the complete installation, and tutorial on how it works. If I ever have an issue, I text and no matter where he is, he is ready to FaceTime to resolve the issue. As someone with a general understanding of A//V issues, and a Physics degree, I know a true "expert" from one that merely purports to be such. From the moment I engaged with Chamilla to help engineer my new upgraded HD projection theater room, it was clear that his distinctive competence in this area was enormous. Moreover, his customer service attitude was equally outstanding. At one point in the project, we had a technical glitch that he clearly could have laid at my doorstep, as I had deviated from his specified components list. I called Cham on Tuesday and he was able to come over the same day to give me a quote. The next day he arrived on time and re-wired my entire audio system. I highly recommend Cham! I initially purchased a sound bar for my TV that I thought I could easily replace myself with the existing sound bar. When I took the old sound bar off I immediately realized that I could not do it myself. It was very late in the day, around 5pm. He quickly came over to help me. That in itself was amazing. I found AV Druids/ Cham on Yelp. After having some of my friends help me install my speaker, A/V, wireless system a year ago -- it turns out I had so many issues along the way which caused problems all the way down to the wireless. When I had a company come out to help me with my wireless (which meant remotes dependent on wireless, etc), it was a disaster. 4 hours and 320$ later -- the wireless was almost completely broken. I called Cham the next morning (saturday) and he actually made time to come out to my house that afternoon. He helped me get to the point where i could function until he could get me a list of items that he felt were much more simple and widely used (Sonos) that would get me everything I needed vs. the complicated/antiquated system i had from just a year before. I ordered everything (ps, he told me about a bunch of different technology options not just Sonos so he let me chose and explained the diff) and when it was delivered,he came and knocked everything out in one day. He scheduled to come out the following weekend to finish it up and go through a tutorial with me. It is amazing...i can't explain it. To further explain how amazing it is -- the reason i had my friend's help a year ago was b/c I contacted another company that quoted me 38K for one system and a 2nd one was 23K. With AV Druids, had I contacted them a year ago, I would have had a simple, low cost solution that was in today's technology and delivered what I needed in my house. Cham is thoroughly professional and a very pleasant man. He came and explained all the issues I was having and also various solutions based on cost. You can never go wrong with Cham. He's extremely knowledgeable at what he does. Once he walks into your house, he knows exactly what is best for you. We totally underpaid him for what he has done for installing our home entertainment system. He walked in our house at 3 pm and didn't leave until 4 in the morning for two straight days to finish the work!. He makes sure everything is perfect before he leaves. We bought a $3000 bose system hoping he can install it for us. He thinks it's a piece of crap and suggested us to sell it asap. He recommended other brand names which are cheaper and give us higher quality sound. We ended up spending less money for the entertainment systems and got ourself a Wii, blue ray disc dvd player, and better sound quality system. Woohoo! As good as he gets. We are extremely happy at his finish work. LOVED the Logitech Harmony remote he told us to get. He programmed all our favorite channels and we can turn on everything with a press of a button. Everything is better than expected. Our project was extremely complicated. Everything needs to be rewired in between the walls. He helped us rewire new speaker wires, running new HDMI cables to the bedroom, installing higer gauge speaker wire and programming our logitech remote and setting up our receiver. He gave us a GREAT price. There's no one in hell would do all that work for the price he quoted us. Best person to go to if you want to set up your entertainment system. He loves what he does. Our initial contact with Cham was with regard to our AV system. He was responsive to my husband's initial phone call and arrived promptly for our appointment. He worked long and hard to identify and fix the problem and then helped us to re-organize and re-new our system so that everything works consistently and with ease. His team installed cat 6 ethernet under the house and up through the garage into various rooms, It was the cleanest and most problem-free install I have ever seen.
