I have been coming to this Regis Salon for the better part of a decade and have found it to be good. The salon is kept clean and organized, though it is quite small for the number of stylist stations. The waiting area is not really a waiting area, but rather just a collection of four or five chairs placed in strategic, but odd, spots. What I really like about this location are the super friendly and highly knowledgeable stylists. Master stylists are available who can do anything from create a great new do to correct horrible styling and coloring mistakes made by other, less skilled stylists. I highly recommend seeing Fred at this location. He is a licensed master stylist who works with men and womens hair, master color specialist, and all around great guy. Though stylists at this locaton may cost a bit more than those at other salons, you can rest assured that you are getting a friendly, licensed, and highly trained expert. And that alone should be reason enough to try this place out. read more

Crying... Crying sad... I had a really great haircut months ago from someone and thought to go back to get the same style..got someone new... I basically had the same style it was just growing out and needed a trim and touch up color with some of the whiter blond color blended with the brown.. I propped my phone up with the photo of my original style so she could see it the whole time... It looks nothing like it and i tried to explain that afterward... I said I'd go home and play with it.... Well i just look bald under the bleaching on top my head as she bleached my scalp so much that outside in the sun you just see my head with wisps of hair.... I had to reschedule a reunion with some old friends cuz i was just too embarrassed.... I had to give myself a couple of days to calm down and will try to call the salons mgr to see if i can get fixed or do i have to pay another salon to.... I'm staying in my house and not leaving..... Horrible coloring and I'll of course have to wait for more coloring.... So dissappointed..ive added before and after photos... read more

Horrible service. I was very disappointed that as soon as I checked in with the receptionist, she told me that my hair stylist (Sam) didn't come in until 10, when their online system allowed me to book an appointment with him at 9:30. She apologized and recommended that I stay, as he was very good at balayage. So, I waited, and waited, and waited. By 10:15, I was ready to leave, as he still had not shown up. I couldn't get the attention of the receptionist, as she was chit-chatting and not paying attention. I decided to take my business some place else, that will be responsible and have stylists that show up on time. I come see Rudy to get my hair done at least once every 6 weeks. He is an artist. I show up with some crazy ideas and he pulls it off every single time. If you're the type that likes to put dynamic and vibrant colors in your hair (ex purple, pink, blue), he's your man! Not only will he give you the results you're looking for, he'll maintain the health of your hair too, making sure to advise you when it's time to treat your hair or trim it. He's the full package. He's taken me from Red Violet, to Purple/Magenta, to Lavender/Blonde, to Silver/Gray, to Pink/Blonde, and now Purple/Gray. I just can't say enough about his talent! read more

Horrible horrible horrible experience. Wife made an appointment for herself for 12/11/17 at 1pm. She arrived a few minutes early like a responsible customer. She checked in with the receptionist and was immediately told that the stylist is running behind. 20 minutes later the stylist finally showed up. Another 20 minutes goes by before my wife tells the receptionist that she was still waiting to be seen. Finally, the receptionist tells my wife that the stylist won't be ready for my wife's scheduled appointment for another 20 minutes! Debi was a life saver! I've come here a couple times for my hair to be fixed due to hair dressers who don't know what they're doing. The team is inviting and friendly which we all know is important when you're looking for your go to stylist. I'm from San Antonio but I live in Virginia and I know I can count on this place to get my hair the way I want it. I got full highlights with corrections from my last job and I paid 130. I believe you get what you pay for and I was perfectly fine with the price. I can't review a cut because I didn't get one but I do recommend you give this place a shot. read more

Found my new forever stylist, Bella! She is one of the best things about San Antonio. She spent an incredible amount of time during my free consultation to figure out exactly what I wanted. Stopped in last minute, and they were able to get me in for an all over color, shampoo, cut, and style. I had Robin, and she was attentive and made sure I was getting the cut and color I wanted. I walked in for shampoo/haircut and asked for the price. They told me $38, so I said ok because I really needed a haircut. When I went to sit down, they told me $48 for thicker hair. The haircut came out ok. I have no problems with that. My stylist was chatting and gossiping with the other stylists the whole time while cutting my hair. In the end, they gave me a "discount" because I bought some hair products, but the discount brought my haircut price back down to the original quoted price. I would have liked a more professional experience for that price. Different level stylists charge different prices here. I don't think I'll come back here. read more

Jon was amazing with my hair! I had my hair done by another stylist a few days ago and after contemplating the color I just couldn't bring myself to like it. I had gone from brown to blonde and the amount of yellow was just awful. Called the salon and Jon got me an appointment immediately and saw exactly what I saw, too much yellow. Scheduled my appt, John repeated everything back to me. I Showed up, and was told that it was accidentally scheduled for the following week. Spoke to the manager that said I could be seen later, no accommodation and no discount for my inconvenience. What's worse, I have read reviews that had this happen before and we're offered no accommodation either. Thats ok. Left and will never be back. read more

Had a horrible experience today! Brought my son in he had an appointment with Alexis and when we got here we were told that she was running 45 minutes late she didn't apologize or didn't even acknowledge us. When asked if anyone would cut my son's hair everyone made excuses saying they were going to busy. We normally bring him to Fred but he was off Fred is amazing with my son. Very patient and easy going he does great with him. Anyways today's staff didn't want to touch a child's head and didn't have patience for them. So I went in, knowing I was going to have to have my hair stripped and bleached for the result I wanted. None of the stylists were willing to do this. I knew the possible consequences like brittle hair but they still would not do it. To, I guess, prove that they were right, they told me they would do a strand test. I agreed, hoping that they would see my hair can stand up to a lot. While my strand test is working its magic, I'm watching my stylist wash a little girls hair. Apparently, the young girl had a lot of tangles as you could see the discomfort in her face while the stylist is trying to get them out. The little girl is in so much pain that her back is arching and she's repeatedly asking, begging this lady to stop or to be more careful. The stylist doesn't listen and continues to hurt this poor little girl and tell her maybe she should have used a brush. Even if this strand test works, I will not be letting anyone here touch me anymore. That was beyond rude and unprofessional. The little girl already is scared of male stylists, now she's never going to get a haircut again! I cannot believe this. I will not be coming back, that's for sure. read more

Went to have my hair done for pictures with a few of my friends and we ended up being charged by the "amount of hair" we had (average length and thickness yet all of our prices were different) and ended up having to fix two of the other girls hair because theirs was not done how they asked. When we asked the stylists to fix it so it was how they wanted it they just said no and walked to cash us out. read more

Love Regis Salon, I wouldn't trust anyone else than my Stylist (Hope) to touch my hair. I First went there (7yrs ago) for a very particular cut. I myself didn't know what it was called.
