Bike dept is GREAT! I bought a new bike with a couple missing parts and the REI bike dept fix me up! Thank you so much for making a customer kick-stand too for my 5 year old's bike. I really appreciate your hard work and calling me when it was ready.

We came into REI and was immediately greeted by a young man named Alec, I asked him if he knew anything about hiking and he said he absolutely did, he helped my daughter and one beyond expectations. I highly recommend Alec.

I initially went to REI feeling completely lost and unsure of what I needed. After walking around for about 10 minutes without being acknowledged, I decided to leave and I'm glad I did because I found this shop instead. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away. Zabi took the time to look over my bike and made helpful recommendations on what I needed to get it road-ready again. At no point did I feel pressured into buying anything. Instead, he made sure I felt comfortable and understood my options. The customer service was outstanding, not only from him but from everyone else in the shop as well. Even if larger corporate stores are running sales, I would much rather drive here and support a business where customers are genuinely welcomed and cared for. Overall, this is an excellent shop with knowledgeable staff, great customer service, and a team that truly cares about its customers.

I had a great experience here getting my bike fixed. I'm a "just for exercise and a bit of fun"…read morebike rider and was looking for a shop that might be able to fix my bike which had fallen into disrepair after a handful of years stationary in the garage. I was really pleased with the whole process, from calling to see if they might be able to do anything with my bike, to the estimate, to pick up. Staff were all friendly and I appreciated the options given during the estimate. I was very happy with the attention to detail. On pick up, I was pleased they were able to hold my bike for a couple extra days due to my work schedule and Joseph was awesome helping me get my bike into the car. Everything is working great and I'm excited to be back riding around again. This is an amazing and professional shop.

I would need to go to Giant to get my part, and I was given the malfunctioning part to take as a reference. I came to the Henderson store to get the part. the man helping me took the reference part to the back, found the new part, and came back after a few minutes of examining the old part. He gave me the new part but cautioned me that, to him, the old part still seemed fine. He then went on to describe to me a common issue that can sometimes seem like the problem is the dropper post, but is actually related to the cables. He said he wanted to give me a heads up before I spent the money on the part, just in case I wanted to try going back to REI with the new insight. I thanked him and decided to get the part anyhow, figuring it's 5 years old, so it won't hurt to replace it regardless. Nevertheless, he offered that, if after replacing the part, the seat still doesn't function properly and REI isn't able to fix it, to bring it in to him and he'll take care of it. "I don't want you to have to pay twice for the part and even more repair" (to paraphrase). My takeaways: * Gave advice and knowledge (most good salespeople will offer that these days) * Provided an alternative for what my issue might be, despite that meaning they could lose the sale * Offered to include fixing my issue, free of charge, if the REI folks still couldn't figure it out, as a thank you for buying the part I appreciated each of these things, and I felt it was important to mention it to others.

IF after reading this post, you still decide to give this place your business, you've been warned…read more My son earned and saved enough money to get hydraulic breaks for his bike. 185+ later for parts and labor from Giant, he had what he wanted. About a month later, he starts to have issues with the hydraulics. My wife takes the bike in with my son and the two men who were there gave her attitude and started to make accusations on why it probably no longer works. They didn't know, but my wife took the bike to Swanny's prior to going back to Giant and they said something inside the hydraulic casing was bad. Giant told my wife they could see scratches on the break system and it most likely stopped working because my son dropped it crashed his bike. Only option was for them to "look at it" and let us know what was wrong. A week later, we get a call with two options from the Giant. Give us $125 to put a new one on or come pick it up. I told the guy that I would never do business with a company who accuse customers of things and who don't guarantee their work/products, and I would pick the bike up. Rule number one when doing business with someone, if they don't guarantee their work, don't give them your business. Rule number 2, If they talk down to women, don't give them your business.

I have mixed feelings about this store…read more First, I want to give credit where it is due. The staff were excellent--friendly, professional, patient, and genuinely interested in helping customers. After visiting several bike shops throughout Las Vegas while searching for an e-bike, this was by far the best customer service experience we had. The staff spent a significant amount of time with us, answered all our questions, and helped us choose the right bike. Their selection was also impressive, and they had the exact model I wanted in stock. Unfortunately, my experience after the purchase was much less positive. This was my first e-bike purchase, and after a brief test ride, I bought the bike and transported it back home to Los Angeles. Once I had the opportunity to inspect it more carefully, I discovered several issues. The rear light was missing, the front light had been installed incorrectly, the display controller mount had visible cracks, and the left handlebar end cap was missing. The most concerning issue involved the steering assembly. After taking the bike to an authorized Mokwheel service center in Los Angeles, I was informed that the steering system required adjustment and repair because it appeared the bike had not been assembled correctly. This created a safety concern, as the bike became unstable under braking at certain speeds. I contacted the store and explained everything. While the staff remained polite and professional, the only solution offered was for me to return to Las Vegas so they could inspect and repair the bike and provide the missing parts. For someone living in Los Angeles, that is simply not a practical solution. The trip involves considerable time, fuel, and expense. My alternative was to visit an authorized service center locally, where I was charged $50 to correct assembly-related issues, install missing components, and reposition parts that should have been properly installed before the bike was sold. The steering repair was the only issue covered under warranty. Overall, I was very impressed with the staff, the customer service, and the bike selection. However, I was disappointed by the condition in which the bike was delivered and by the lack of a practical resolution once the problems were discovered. I would gladly do business with this store again because of the people who work there, but I sincerely hope they improve their inspection and assembly procedures so future customers do not encounter similar issues.
