Had to pick up something I forgot to pack before leaving for Vegas so I found this men's store near the Sunset Casino. Parking is plentiful but directions using Google maps aren't the most accurate navigating this lot. Service is lacking. No greeting entering and no one asked if I needed assistance. Selection of clothing is pretty good but the prices are very high since they stock mainly big and tall merchandise which they charge a pretty penny for (or would that be nickel now that they stopped minting pennies?). I located what I needed after a lengthy search since some stock was not organized properly and checked out in a longer amount of time than it should have required. It was nice to find what I needed nearby but this wouldn't be a regular stop if I were a local. read more

Came by here the other day for some pants and upon entering the store was IMMEDIATELY greeted by an associate named AJ. She asked me what I was looking for an instead of just pointing me in the right way, walked me over and genuinely helped me find the right pants for me. This was even more impressive because it wasn't like I was the only person in the store, there were absolutely other customers. She just took it upon herself to show she cared and give me actual guidance. I had been wearing a different brand and she convinced me to try another which worked perfect! So not only did I get more pairs of pants than I planned but I saved money. If you are lucky enough to visit the store when AJ is working, count yourself lucky. She was GREAT! read more

DXL, the name invokes a 90s pop group, with each member having their own color choice....right! Well DXL is a shop for big dudes, and tall dudes. They do have color shirts, and singing and dancing are not banned from the store to my knowledge, so there is that. But I have been coming to this store since they moved and changed the name. The price of everything is a bit on the high side, but it beats trying to find your size at any of the major stores. The place has a website, and you can order for store pick up, or just ship it to your home. I like going to the store to try on clothes, and check out the sales, but they got you covered if you don't want to go in because of the world zombie apocalypse! or playing Mario Cart. The store is a bit short-handed sometimes, so please be patient with the folks. They are doing their best. There are a couple of comfy chairs in the back. Relax and get some cool gear. I wish I never had to go there but thats the only location in Henderson I always get shirts for my husband and the service is terrible. The new girl did know how to fold the gift box and 15 min later my toddler fell on the fixture and got really hurt. While at the register the manager offered a bottle of water to a man standing there ignoring us I got home and a shirt had a giants oil stain. Next day there were being very difficult about exchanging it ! Yesterday I went there for a b day gift and they were taking a BREAK IN THE MIDDLE OF OPENING HOURS . Just like that ... I did not have time to stand by the door untill they finish their coffee... I probably will shop on line from now on, I hate this store . read more

I had a very pleasant shopping experience. This DXL store is hidden gem in Vegas, so I do not come often, but I am always treated well when I do. The staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable about their products and clothing. The level of comfortability that the store sets is high. The whole experience was very nice with no stress and I'll definitely be back again! Worry free environment. For those of us that are big and tall know that most clothes stores are a bit uncomfortable due to the fact of uncertainty when it comes to clothes fitting right and or the fear of clothes not fitting at all. Came here in search of slacks and business casual button-up shirts for my husband. He can be difficult to buy for, as he has a shorter inseam, at 28, but works out and has a large chest, back and arms. Reyna greeted us immediately. She was very helpful and pleasant without hovering. There were two or three other men working, but they were not very outgoing. At first, I thought that one of them was a customer. He was watching a tennis match on the TV inside the store, but then turned to fold some clothes. We found the pants, and they fit great. However, the shirts were huge. They fit his shoulders well, but they were otherwise much too baggy and long for him. We did see some very tall men shopping, and this store seemed better suited to them. Some items were reasonably priced, although some shirts were over $100. Belts looked like very good quality, but were around $80. Personally, I can't see spending that much in a belt. Reyna helped us as the register as well. If she had not been here this day, my opinion of this store would have been much lower. read more

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of options for shopping because I'm a big person. But this is getting ridiculous it's like they don't want my business. Couple years ago I went there and got a couple pairs of pants and the person that measured me for alterations did something wrong or the person that altered them did something wrong and I got a pair of flood pants. Which I then ended up taking to another place to have it altered and made into shorts. So these are now two of the most expensive shorts I've ever purchased in my life. The latest incident is something that I ordered online to be shipped to the sunset store a pair of shoes which I swear I ordered in Gray. When I checked the status on my order it shows the order in Black. When I called to ask about it they said gray was not available and they weren't able to change it or cancel the order. So they tell me I'm going to have to wait for the order to get to the store just so I can refund it there. The problem is I ordered it two days ago and it's still being processed it hasn't even shipped yet. So the lady on the phone tells me that if I wanted to upgrade to expedited shipping... Right there I had to interrupt her because I told her it hadn't even shipped yet! I know what the hell expedited shipping means. So I guess I'll be shopping at the store but I will no longer ever have anything altered and I will never order anything online to have it shipped to the store. read more

Although they don't have much in my size I appreciate the effort that Kim put forth. It was more than just being friendly and knowledgeable it was the salesman ship. We started by establishing that I was too big for the normie stores and too small for big and tall. Go figure. That had very little on the shelf that was my size but that didn't stop kim. When I went to the changing room to try on a shirt I came out to find Kim had laid out several different outfits including tie, belt and shoes. I was impressed. We went through a few combinations and options of tailoring before I decided to shop around. Kim was very pleasant after all her time was spent with me and when I couldn't find anything else around town I went back to Kim and she hooked me up. At her suggestion I ordered a few more items online. A few weeks later I went to the paradise location. It was a mess and most of the employees were not very good. read more

I come in every six months or so to buy Harborbay black shorts. Today I find one pair and asked to order two more online to get sales price. Lady asked me twice to come behind counter to looks at other shorts and colors. Twice I advised her I only like these shorts in black. Finally she said she found it on line and the Harbor Bay shorts I been buying for over six years are no longer in stock. I'm a guy and like what I like, PLEASE do not keep asking my about other shorts and colors. She never looked in back room like other visits, I guess I need to find another store if they no longer listen to customers on WHAT we want?? read more

Disappointed with the staff and service at this location. Went shopping for shirts and they didn't have my size in stock, then ignored thereafter. They didn't offer to order for me as other stores have done in the past. I ended up ordering online they had them shipped to store to get the free shipping.. I was never notified that the order came in and found out by tracking it, it had arrived two days earlier. No notification whatsoever. Went to the store to pick them up and it took them a while to even find my order. The clerk stated that she found it buried in the back near the trash. read more

Went to purchase suit for my husband to wear to the inauguration of Dr Rochon the new president of the University of Southern Indiana. The salesperson asked about our event and he proceeded to put together two suits. Meanwhile we were asked to sit as he got things done. A woman was sitting in the chair and my husband sat in the other chair. What I did not know at the time was that the woman was waiting for "our" salesperson to get off work. The salesperson never asked her to give me, the real customer a seat! When my daughter asked the salesperson if that was right, he had no answer!!! As a customer and as a senior citizen, I should have been offered a seat. Very poor customer service! Ugh read more

I came here looking for a suit and the lady who helped me was extremely helpful. She took my measurements and called me when she had what I needed available. I purchased a nice dress shirt and jacket and although it wasn't cheap its nice quality and fit great. I ended up returning one dress shirt and I had no problems. Wow for a retailer that charges full retail on just about everything except the inventory that is on sale customer service was horrible. The staff from this location needs to take customer service lessons from the staff at the Paradise store in Las Vegas. Salesman approached me I had 2 sale items saved on my phone which according their website they had in inventory after striking out on both items which the salesman didn't even really look for. Then without saying a word he just leaves me on the sales floor to fend for myself as if he has better things to do then to help a customer who was looking for some nice clothes that were supposed to be in the store. When I finally gave up looking for a shirt for my business dinner that evening I walk out to find him at the front just chatting away with 2 other staff members. To add injury to insult it was the very same salesman who I had purchased $300.00 worth of inventory on my last visit to that store. read more
