I visited Reico in Falls Church two months ago. Provided a layout of what my client was looking for. Woman said that she would work up a design and quote. Still haven't heard back. Oh well. They are close by so yesterday I decided to try again. I have a remodeling project that my company is doing in Vienna. Called Reico again today and asked for info on refrigerators. I have a property 1 1/2 hours away in the country and needed a new kitchen. Everyone at REICO was so helpful and the designer was willing to drive all that way for measurements. The person they have to do install is very very good. He also put in the floors. I have a busy travel schedule and it was so helpful that they worked and coordinated around my dates. When we were ready to remodel our kitchen, our contractor recommended that we work with Reico for professional design assistance, and we soon learned why. Reico is fantastic! Our Reico designer came to our home, took measurements, and listened carefully to our thoughts and needs. He left us with some brochures on different cabinets, and In less than a week, he sent us a detailed draft design plan and asked us for our thoughts. While we were very happy with the plan as is, we had a couple of thoughts on possible improvements, which we shared. He quickly revised the plans to reflect our ideas. After reviewing them, we realized that the original design really was the best for our needs, so we told him we wanted to proceed with that plan. Our designer then invited us to visit the Reico showroom to pick out cabinets and hardware. He cheerfully met us at the appointed time, and he showed us around. He did not push his ideas on us, but he was happy to share his thoughts when we asked. He had detailed knowledge of all of the options, and it was very reassuring to have him as a resource to assist us in making the right choices. We placed an order for cabinets, hardware, and a farmhouse sink, and our designer provided us with a quote package that included pictures of all of the items, including a detailed kitchen layout with every cabinet identified and shown in its place, along with illustrations of how the finished job would look in our kitchen. Although Reico offers great discounts on appliances, we ultimately decided to go with a brand that Reico did not offer. Our designer was fine with that and he did not attempt to push us to buy from him. We did decide to get the farmhouse sink from Reico, because we wanted to be sure it would fit properly in the cabinets we were ordering. As it turns out, Reico's price for the sink was far lower than we could have gotten anywhere else. When our cabinets arrived, there were a couple of minor issues (an insert was sent for a spice pullout rather than the utility cabinet we had ordered, and the wrong model door was sent for one of the cabinets). This did not delay our installation as Reico immediately addressed the issue with the manufacturer and replacement items were promptly shipped while the cabinets were being installed. Our new kitchen is even nicer than we imagined, the price was well within our budget, and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Reico for anyone considering a kitchen remodel. read more

Design specialist was more interested in jamming as many upgrades as possible into the design and didn't want to take the time to understand what I wanted. They are also challenged at taking measurements. I paid an extra $300 for Reico to do the measurements thinking it was best to have the cabinet people do the cabinet measurements. They measured wrong and the design dimensions were off. Of course this wasn't identified until midway through installation and then the design specialist went MIA. So tens of thousands of dollars later I have crooked cabinets. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Surely there are better options out there. Save yourself time, money, and a lot of headache and use someone else. read more

Their products are amazing at great prices. I'm a designer, my husband has background in construction management so we knew exactly what we wanted and able to produce diagrams. I can see the disconnect if your contractor or designer isn't inline with what you want or inflexible with changes and updates. Believe me, I'm sure the designer at Reico got fed up with our constant changes and challenges! Anyone in this industry isn't going to hand hold you. They are going to ask questions, seem condescending.... but I'll rather those questions be asked a million times to get a project done RIGHT! UPDATE: We recommend working with the Springfield location. BUT if you have to work with the falls Church location, request Carmellita Turner. Long story short, the Reico falls Church location was not the best.a regional manager helped us and guided us to another sales person who generally good, often was not available. We had to ask questions constantly because we didn't seem to be provided enough information. Unfortunately it ended up resulting in drawers that were not as deep as we wanted and quality that may not have been the level that we wanted. we even received cabinets missing shelves and parts. Not sure how that happens! Sort of like sending a car without a hood or windshield. Considering these cost thousands of dollars I would expect the quality and service to be much better! read more

We bought expensive, custom wood cabinets from Reico when we built a house 12 years ago. Inexplicably, they started swelling in some parts, and the paint peeled away. We asked Reico to address this, and they said it was normal wear and tear. We got them redone, and the painter said that they were only wood around the edges -- the middle where they had swelled was particle board. He also said that the seams had never been sealed and that they'd applied only one coat of paint. We felt quite cheated. read more

One star, one reason: Danielle M. So rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Aren't they supposed to want business, not to turn it away? My contractor wanted me to use Reico (although I think the designer he wants to use is at a different location), so I thought I'd go into this one just to see the store since it's close. Sort of check it out before the designer comes to the house. I was met at the door (not greeted, just...she showed up in front of me). She had no interest in talking to me about the project, and was incredibly condescending in her tone and attitude. "You do realize that budget will depend on things like what type of floor you have? Do you know what type of floor you have?" No honey, I have no idea what kind of floor is in my house. -.- Never asked me if I wanted an appointment, if I wanted to look around, nothing. Then turned around and walked off, so I did the same. Called my contractor from the parking lot and told him no way in heck I would use Reico. Too bad for them, our budget, from what I can tell, is far above their average. read more

In May 2015, we worked with Reico to remodel a bathroom in our aging one bedroom condo. Our experience was overall positive. The designer we worked with was very thorough. She walked us through everything and had us visit the store multiple times after closing to view different products and figure out how things would look when pieced together. Reico also has a relationship with Architectural Ceramics (located across Leesburg Pike), which were also very easy to work with and had an amazing selection. Reico scheduled all deliveries for the day prior to construction beginning, which helped minimize disruption. The delivery crew moved quickly and were professional. Reico also set us up with a contractor (Suplotel) to do the actual work on the bathroom. Suplotel is amazing. They completed everything on time or ahead of schedule. After work each day, they vacuumed and cleaned up as much as possible. The bathroom looks incredible. We couldn't be happier with it. A month later, everything still looks new. Reico isn't the cheapest company to work with and we had to wait a bit for a contractor to be available to complete our bathroom, but the end product speaks for itself. We now have an excellent bathroom and it was completed on time and within the quoted budget. We'll definitely return to Reico for future projects. read more

I've got the house on VRBO and am getting reviews that say that the property feels high-end luxury. Reico's remarkably bad job during the process of renovating our kitchen, and our contractor's fantastic job fixing their many mistakes, have inspired me to write my first ever Yelp review. (Unfortunately I can't find my contractor's business on Yelp in order to give him 5 stars...but it's ADR Complete Services, anyway). The two stars (rather than one) are because the results are quite lovely, and because the incompetent and uncommunicative woman we were primarily dealing with was saved somewhat by her more professional colleagues. (Also my son just walked in and thinks I'm being unfair - the kitchen does look good, now...) But we went through a great deal of inconvenience and time wastage that could have been avoided if these folks had their act together and could do basic things like use a measuring tape accurately. One update: we wrote Reico to tell them they owed us about $350 for the extra work their mistakes caused, and they sad they'd pay it, no questions asked. So, I have to credit them for that. read more

Tried to shop here on a Saturday, went online and got phone number. I kept calling and calling (they don't have operating hours on the website). Got some weird looping message with no information about what time they were open and no human to pick up. I stayed on hold the whole drive from Chantilly. When we got there at 4:05, they locked the door as we tried to enter the store. I will not be back. Get a new phone system and put your operating hours on your website... You're pissing off potential customers! read more

Where to begin....First let me say that I wasn't going to even review them. I just wanted the stuff taken care of. Had it not been such a hassle I wouldn't have said anything. I will also do a good review when one is warranted. Went to the Falls Church store because that is where our general contractor for our kitchen remodel sent us. We had an appointment to pick out cabinets and counter tops. We picked out what we wanted and discussed that we did NOT want a style strip in any of the cabinets. We were told that was not a problem. They sent someone out to take measurements and that went fine. We then waited almost 2 weeks for an estimate. We called and emailed but nothing and at one point were told, "we are busy right now because of all the pipes that froze in the cold we just had" Well great I had already been in and picked out what I wanted why am I still waiting. Then counters come back at more then we wanted to spend. We asked for other options. That took too long so we went to CounterIntelligence (who were AWESOME). The cabinets finally show up. Several of them have style strips and it turns out the designer didn't like that we had picked 2 different size lower cabinets that would be set next to each other so she changed our design without talking to us about it. Now that puts us back another 2 weeks till they figure it all out, argue with us that we are wrong, order the right cabinets and get them in. We then find out that one of the cabinets we got does not come with butt doors and only comes with the style strip (which we specifically said we didn't want) so that meant 1 cabinet was different. The manager was about worthless to deal with as he would say he would get back to me and then I would have to contact him. He claimed to have a fix and said it would be done by Mother's Day at the latest. They came to install the back splash. My wife and I looked and said...oh you're going to be short. The installer told us it would be close but they were always right on. Of course they didn't have any extra and were actually 10 sheets (2 boxes) short. Now we have to wait till they can get more in. The manager of the store drove to another store to pick it up, but was emailing me while he was stuck in traffic and made is seem as if he was doing me a favor by picking up the rest of the back splash. They finally got the correct cabinet and installed it on 5 August. The cabinet did not sit on the back splash the way the old (incorrect one) they installed did. It then took a couple days to get that worked out. Finally when a decision was made it took them 10 days to get 3 pieces of back splash. Finally last night they finished the project The whole thing started in January and it wasn't until last night (August 26th) that they completed the job. I have heard "Sorry" about 100 times. I have been told a bunch of excuses as to why the designer we talked with changed what we wanted without discussing it with us. All in all.....I had to take extra time off work and they put our project behind by at least 3 weeks. That was extra time we had to eat out since we didn't have a kitchen. It also caused issues with the flooring guys, the plumber and the counter guys which also caused me to have to take more time off. The best I got was excuses, "Sorry" and more screw up after each time they apologized for the last thing they screwed up. The people at Home Depot may not be as educated on what they are selling but the customer service is much better. Gary (the manager) wasn't helpful at all after we realized the cabinets were wrong. Very slow to return messages. Then once I went above him I ended up with the VP of sales and I told him flat out that I was done dealing with Gary. Well every time an issue came up I got a message from Gary who would then not respond to my response. read more

We met with three different kitchen design companies before selecting Reico in Falls Church. We were planning a high end kitchen and wanted to strike that sweet spot between getting the right cabinets to do justice to the kitchen without overpaying for them. We were stunned to see the difference in prices between cabinet lines and vendors and found the whole selection process to be overwhelming. Danielle was an excellent guide. She actually steered us away from some pricier items and showed us how we could get the pop we needed with extra molding and high end "jewelry," i.e., hardware. She is a complete whiz at kitchen design, can translate architectural drawings in seconds, and knew things we wouldn't even had thought of, like how many inches there were between fully opened refrigerator/dishwasher/oven doors and the island. After the cabinets were delivered, there were a few that had less than perfect paint jobs and Reico replaced them immediately at no cost to us, making it a dream company to work with.
