4.5/5 Overview: first time at a golf simulator bar, really cool experience, kinda pricey, food was okay, but we had a fun time ---- Pricing: - $35 for 30 minutes (walk-in only) - $65 for 60 minutes - $100 for 90 minutes - $135 for 120 minutes - $10 for club set rentals ---- The simulator areas are in an open area, not private rooms, and behind the hitting area is a couch and a table with some chairs for people in your party to sit and rest. Sometimes the golf ball isn't sensed so make sure you see that it says the ball is sensed on the screen. Otherwise if you hit it, it will not register it. There are different game modes available like driving range, trying to aim into a bucket, or playing an actual game of golf. They also have an instant replay of the hitting area so that you can review your stroke and where you hit the ball. I see the appeal in if you are wanting to try out or work on different areas of golf. Like you can play an entire game without having to be in the hot sun, or see from a top-down view of your club placement when you strike the ball. ---- Food was alright, minus half a star. We ordered the pepperoni pizza ($14) which was steaming hot when it came out and had a crispy bottom. Just a standard pepperoni pizza, nothing amazing. Ambiance wasn't "bar-like" which I liked bc while there was music playing you could still hear your own conversations. Service was great we somehow managed to hit 2 tees on top of the hitting area and they gave us another one each time. Lots of parking bc it shares it with other businesses in the plaza. ---- Overall: whether you are a golf fanatic or just want to try something out, this is a pretty great place to experience. Totally a bro hangout. Haha I was expecting a top golf type place but it was more like a shop in a strip mall with about 6 golf simulators. Staff totally cool and the food, while it looked like frozen dinners, the pizza was pretty solid! The beer selection was pretty good as my hubby loves Hazys. I loved the cider selection. We had a great date night and he got some golf in and I got some golf swinging lessons. It was perfect for the torrential downpour outside to be able to still get some golf in while we were in Escondido area. The only part that wasn't cool was, the simulator had a few glitches and didn't catch some of our swings, that was a bummer bc I hit some decent ones when it didn't count. Overall, I would say it was a great experience for the kids and definitely worth a visit if you've never been to a virtual golf center. The staff was very nice and was able to explain everything for us and I would say my kids had a lot of fun because there was a variety of games that you could do with a soccer ball baseball and a football. The place overall was clean and well kept an interesting, so there was enough virtual screen bays that you could play and it seemed like it was not too busy at this location. I did try using my Groupon at the Clairemont location, but they were packed. We have a fun time. It wasn't too hard to get the hang of this but overall I would say you should use the Groupon and it makes that one hour worth it. read more

We went there for 60 minute experience. Kids enjoyed a new experience of playing different sports and adults got to enjoy some appetizers and drinks. Food was decent. Kids especially loved the pretzel and service was friendly. It was $60 just for the experience and another $60 for food, drinks, and tip. read more

First time at this location. Facility appeared new with nice ambiance. We had a group event and took up all three simulators. They had a private room too with two simulators but it was booked. Service was excellent and very accommodating and special thanks to Judy who was our main server who was always enthusiastic in assisting us. Food was typical bar food but had healthy options too. We ordered 10 different items (including three different pizzas) and my favorites that I tried were the #CrunchyGarlicWings #TaterTots #EverythingJumboPretzel the #ChickenBaconSliders looked amazing but I was too full to try. Only thing I didn't like was the #Nachos, The chips and sauce didn't go well together. We were able to bring a cake which they kept refrigerated for us until we were ready and also the wines ($15 corkage fee). They also had an assortment of wine and beers. Sat early eve, 2 of the 5 simulators in use. Quiet shopping center, easy parking and clean. Friendly helpful staff, very attentive. Cool vibe if u like to golf, because u don't lose your balls you can finish game quicker than if on a real course. After about an hour all simulators were in use. Boys had fun, even newbies. You can play other games as well. Great deal if you buy on Clipp or Groupon, 50% off. Food is ok, we bought a pizza and wings, fine to snack on while playing, but we ended up going elsewhere for dinner. Would recommend if you want to practice and hang out with your friends. read more

So disappointed in this place. Website and google and yelp all advertised that it was open until 10/11pm. My fiance and I drove over 45 minutes bc we were trying to find somewhere to get food that was open. Apparently the kitchen closed at 9. We were actually there several minutes before 9, but they refused to serve us. I begged and told them how far we had driven and that we knew exactly what we wanted and please could they serve us. The female employee was nice and tried to get the manager to cut us a break but he came out and just didn't give a crap. Also the ambience is really terrible, super bright lights and weird music. Cool place for an event. We had 30 people and reserved the back room. It has 2 screens to play. One was the golf and the other had various sports options. The teens had a good time. Plenty of seats. We visited The Golf Bar for a private party and were totally impressed! There are 5 "pods" where you can play simulated games and choose from a ton of options like baseball, soccer, carnival games, golf, and a ton more! Each pod has sofa seating and chair seating. There is a bar area with wine, beer, seltzer, and saki-based alcohol. The pizza, wings, pretzels, and tater tots were perfect for the overall feel. We will definitely be back! read more

This is hands down the best indoor golf sim in San Diego. I'm glad they put one in a spot that is more north county so I can go with my family. This location has wider screen sims compared to the other location which I didn't think would make a big difference but it really does help out and I like the extra space...especially when my son runs around playing zombie dodgeball. This location also has golden tee which is awesome. Great to be able to sit and play while watching the March madness games. Fun to play while waiting for a sim to be ready. Love the ambiance in this place. It's got a great feel and the staff does well at making you feel at home. Chris and Clint always seem to make sure you are having a good time and that your group is enjoying themselves. There is also a private room you can rent out if you would like that really is a fun space away from the rest of the bays if you are looking for a more private experience for a party or just bring your friends. If youre playing golf, you can bring your own clubs or it says you can rent some for a fee. This location has 5 different bays so if you do plan on coming, I would recommend making a reservation. If not, you could be waiting if they're all full. They also have a bar and kitchen with their own TGB Hazy. Their food is actually really good. Aside from the cost, this is not a bad place to visit. They're located in a shopping center, and parking can be a little difficult at times. The inside was clean and new looking. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered two appetizers, and both were tasty. They also have a full bar there - draft beer is $8, and mixed drinks are around $12. The only downside to this place is the overall cost. I was there for a birthday party, which they reserved the space in the back with the two screens. Someone got there early and started hitting balls, so they tried to charge him $175 for 30 minutes. He was able to get the charge waived, but that rate makes this place nearly untouchable. read more
