Just check all their violations on the Department of Labor and Industry website. Took our condominium project over a year to get two circuit panels replaced. Had to get both Mountlake Terrace inspectors and the Department of Labor involved. The "owner" isn't even a licensed electriction! We never heard so many excuses as to why they wouldn't show up for scheduled appointments. Do yourself a favor and move along to another company. AND make sure you lookup anyone you're thinking of using first on the D&L website.

Heater unit was installed upside down, and in such a way that the trim did not cover the hole

I called Reign City because I had a space heater that wasn't working in a rental unit I own. I call them 10/26. Supposed to be there next day. Doesn't show up. Reschedule for the next monday. Shows up, but says there's nothing wrong with the unit. I get charged $331 for no service, and the tenant calls the next day to tell me heater is still not working. So I order a replacement unit and call to see if they can install. (I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.) They come back out, install the unit which is an EXACT MATCH for the hole in the wall. These geniuses install it upside down (in spite of the unit being clearly labeled TOP), and don't do any shimming to make it fit the existing hole. (see photo for what passes for acceptable work) I get charged another $303. When I inspect the work, I'm pissed. I've paid over $600 for shoddy install. I call Eugene to complain. He offers to redo the work, and a $150 refund. I passed on the rework - but said, yeah send me a refund. You know what's next - never sent the refund. Avoid at all costs.

I had two flush mount fixtures that were acting up - I figured loose wiring. Called Reign City Electrics and the guys came out 30 min later. Checked all my stuff - diagnosed my problem, relocated some fixtures so I didn't have to replace everything to make them match, then headed to the depot to buy replacements. He texted me pictures of options, I bought - came back and he installed. BOOM. Easy easy easy. They were very nice and polite and did a great job. I don't know how pricing compares to others - I was fairly charged for the service call, plus the cost of my fixtures. I'd call them again if I needed more electrical work.

    Unlicensed contractor.

Beware of a dishonest business owner that is currently unlicensed. Please read my previous detailed post. Eugene has unlawfully kept my $1500 deposit. He is disorganized, lies and never came to the job site. Organize the reviews newest first and look through. Maybe he's doing decent work, once in a while, but the terrible experiences are heartbreaking.

Had scheduled a facetime call for 8/27 at 8:30 am with Eugene but no one ever contacted me. I tried calling but the no one answered and the mailbox was full. I reached out to the person who scheduled the appointment and they said they don't work weekends and to contact the owner (which I tired) and that he "probably just got busy." Unfortunately, these people are unreliable. Will be looking elsewhere. Edited to respond: It is not my job to know that it was dispatch's first day on the job. If that's the case, then teach them better. I did my due diligence before posting a review. I called but the VM was full. I reached out to an employee but they said they didn't work on the weekends. What is a customer supposed to do? Wait around and see what the problem was? That's not a good business model. You have to take the good review with the bad. Own up to your mistake without making excuses and trying guilt a customer. Learn from it and move on.

Fan electrical box required they to traverse our attic

We just moved into an older house and needed a faster charger added for our EV. We used Yelp to gather estimates. The estimates received varied considerably, some ranging into several thousand dollars to install a single NEMA 6-50 receptacle in my garage. Reign City's estimate was the lowest at ~650 bucks. They came out within two days to confirm the estimate, and the actual work was completed a week later. I was really impressed by the speed that Reign City moved, especially when you compare them to other electricians in the area. It took me longer to get an estimate from other electricians than it took Reign City to estimate & complete the work. In terms of quality, Reign City did a flawless job. You can see the quality of this work in the pictures I've uploaded. The receptacle was installed with high quality materials & is completely flush with the wall. They used a 60-amp breaker and plug, and the charging speeds I see are consistent with that. I also decided to have a few fans installed. The fan electrical boxes were installed on studs with high quality materials. I was able to mount both fans onto them without issue. Overall, 5/5. They were fast, efficient, and did great work. Strongly recommended if you have electrical work.

Great service! The person showed up fully prepared and got the job done very efficiently. A good deal, too!

The tech they sent spent an hour looking around, trying to find the problem. He said he couldn't solve it but we still got charged $411. He said he would have to send someone else. Any estimate for the job? No - he couldn't even make an estimate. When I called Adam, he said they would send a more experienced tech. Why not send someone qualified the first time? What about the charge for showing up and not doing anything? "That's our normal fee?" So, will we be charged for a new estimate? "It's still $250 to show up." Really? I told him we didn't want them anymore and we would like at least a partial refund. He agreed to a refund of $125, but the refund didn't come. I called again and he said they had a miscommunication. Now it would be sent. Still no refund ... We found a new person, a handyman - he said it was challenging, but he found the broken connection and he only charged us $250. Mirsky? Never again ...

I visited because my thrift store bought standing lamp broke where the shade connects to the light socket, damaging the wire also. Didn't really know much about the lamp except is was a heavy, quality, unique piece worth fixing. Took it in and they were able to tell me it's a European lamp with an usual size of socket threading, but they found a solution and it was rewired and ready to pick up in under 2 weeks! Well guess what... I put the lampshade on and adjusted it too tightly and the socket cracked... then 2 days later our large 2X3 foot painting fell, knocking over the lamp (shade was not attached at the time) damaging it further and we had picture frame glass shards everywhere! Not our lucky day. We took the lamp back and they had a stronger socket. Our lamp shade was large and too heavy for the first one. Now it's fixed and looking great. Thanks LUXE team, you are great!

We weren't exactly sure what was on sale - if it was everything and/or just the some things that had special clearance signs. The gigantic and amazing chandeliers, way out of our budget and way too big for our residence but SO gorgeous. The best deals in the store, imo, were the bathroom lights. Also, they have a very large selection of outdoor lights (like if you have a light in front of your door or flanking your garage).

She was wonderful and made me feel like I had all of her attention for just a single lamp. She was knowledgeable and made a few suggestions after asking me questions about my place and my style. I ended up ordering a tripod studio light, which has become a statement piece when people come over. The lamp came in about a week, it was no Amazon prime 2-day delivery, but I'll take the personal attention and expertise over amazon any day. Plus on Amazon it can be hit and miss when you order something that could have been returned. A few months later, my ceiling fan's glass broke. I wasn't sure if North Coast could help me, but I called anyways. They walked me through potential replacement parts and options. I decided to go with a new fan since it was about 10 years old. Unlike the 80's or even the 90's you got more choices than Pay N Pak, for home improvement. From Eagle to Lowes and Home Depot, you can find just about all the lighting you would desire. I had about 30 minutes before a medical appointment across the street, so I decided to pull in to see what they offered for outside dusk to dawn lighting. I have three lights that were on my house when I bought it 16 years ago. A very nice-looking light, that I actually found while shopping at Costco about 11 years ago, so I am going to assumed they carried them for years. LED lights don't last forever, and one of the lights is flickering a lot and another is starting to flicker, so I decided it was time to replace all three. I didn't see any lights that met the description, so I asked one of the people up front and he confirmed, they don't keep those lights in stock. What kind of lighting store are you, when you don't keep all kinds of lighting in stock? Truth be told, I think the lighting section at my local Lowes is larger than this store, but if your goal is to put on a glossy show for Bellevue, I don't have faith in your ability to stay in business. He offered to show me lighting online, but I can do that myself and guess what, I'm checking Amazon, before I look at your site. I did see a fixture I liked while I was there, it was a light with a sign for your house number. It was also $1,300. You must be nuts, it was cool looking, but you could put that on sale for $350 and I'm still not buying it. All of this stuff is made overseas and the fact that you are selling it for a 10x markup might make you believe it's worth it, but I suspect contractors that drive up prices and people that believe they are too good for commercial lighting like Home Depot are the ones shopping here. I guess when you are next door to Albert Lee, you can get away with that, but my ex tried to talk me into getting appliances there and I told her, why would I pay $3,500 for a fridge Costco sells for $2,200. Her reply, because the neighbors shop there. I got the fridge and got rid of the girl. Well, only a fool pays retail and regardless of how nice the staff was, I refuse to overpay. I got 3 lights from Amazon for a total of $120. I don't think I saw a single light here for that price and I'd suspect if I returned, which I won't. I'd find the light I bought on Amazon for $40 here for at least $350.
