My check engine light came on and Raz went through all the various solutions for this issue. Almost two thousand dollars and many weeks later I had new spark plugs, wires, oil change, new fuel injectors, new ignition coil, etc... and still had a check engine light on!!!! Raz sent me to Mark, thinking the problem must be electrical. Mark reset the light, took a quick drive around the block and told me it wasn't electrical. He suggested that I pour a cleaning product into my gas tank, explaining that there was probably a build-up of gunk in the engine. I went down the road one block and purchased a bottle of the recommended fluid. I saw immediate results on the first bottle, so I continued to add one with each fill-up. Three tanks later the light stopped coming on! Mark didn't charge me a cent for this helpful advice! Months later...Raz sent me to Mark again when my battery kept dying, thinking there is a short in something causing a parasitic draw. I took my car there this morning and I am expecting to pick it up with the problem solved. Perhaps it is time to make Mark my first stop in the future!! The first two times I brought my car here for normal fixer uppers I felt assured that things were done right and the price was reasonable. Then, I found out the truth. I'm sure most car shops claim that they work on foreign cars and the owner himself owns a Mercedes. Yet, somehow, when they changed the brakes on my Mercedes, they neglected to know to relieve the brake fluid pressure. This caused pressure to build up in my brake fluid reservoir and in-turn burst leaking out under my hood. I was informed that most car mechanics should know this simple procedure but... it was neglected in my case. This wasn't even what prompted me to get my car checked out at the dealership. When I asked to change my front brakes here, I was quoted the "best" price for under $300... $300 for AFTER MARKET brake pads and brake pads ONLY? For OEM he said it would be around double... $600 for OEM brake pads only? Something didn't sound right... I don't know a whole lot about cars but I do remember when I got my brakes done at the Mercedes dealership WITH rotors, it cost me about $500. Something seemed fishy here... so I called up the Mercedes parts department to obtain a quote for my front break pads and they cost $115... for OEM brakes... Andreas was going to charge me $500 for labor... for BRAKE PADS?!?!? Now I'm starting to wonder if I got ripped off severely for the other work I've gotten done here. This is my first negative review of any place but I felt like they deserve it. Not only did they try to rip me off (and don't get me wrong, I understand people need to make a living) but the poor workmanship is just really disappointing.
