While in town I was craving something sweet and I stopped by Reiter's Bakery. Its right on Main street and tucked in the back of another business. Follow the signs and you will find it. They have lots of pastries and goodies. My favorite to get is the kouign-amann. Its crispy and buttery and flaky. So Delicious. The staff is nice and friendly and very helpful. They have lots of tables inside for you to enjoy your pastries and drinks. They also have a stamp card program where after 10 visits you can get $5 off your next purchase. I love it! I look forward to my next visit.

Reiter's is a small bakery right on main street that shares it's space with an embroidery and silk-screening business. We were a bit confused as to which business we were actually entering, but don't let that put you off. Stay to the left when you enter and head back inside. They offer a modest assortment of fresh beaked goods and treats and their customer service is topnotch! The girls working inside are sweet, helpful and very personable. Don't forget to leave a tip in their tip jar. The bakery offers beautifully decorated sugar cookies, macarons, muffins, and small varying desserts like tarts, cheesecake, scones and sweet breads, but my absolute favorite is the kouign-amann. They also offer lots of coffee and tea options as well. There are some tables in the back where locals sit and chat and they have a bathroom available for customers. Their macarons are very good and layered with flavor but I highly recommend their kouign-amann. It's not the largest you'll find but the ne they serve here is incredibly buttery in comparison to any I have ever had. Crispy, flaky, buttery goodness....just writing this review has made me crave one. Guess I better head back!

We stopped by Reiter's Bakery after finding it on yelp. There is street parking right in front. When we walked in, I was shocked at the size of the bakery. It looked like a restaurant with huge tables on the side. I was excited to find the display case still had baked goods, since we stopped by around 10:45am. Based on the website, I knew there was a limited supply of items daily. The bakery was quiet and empty, so we had to wait about a minute for someone to help us. In the meantime, I was browsing over everything. Everything just looked amazing in the display case. My family wanted to try different things, so we got a box full of baked treats. My daughter kept saying "one of everything, please". We tried the chocolate chip cookies, chocolate crossiant, Swedish hazelnut tart, lemon meringue tart, strawberry peach turnover, chocolate babka, cinnamon babka, and monkey bread. Everything we tried was very tasty. Some of the pastries are a bit pricey, especially for the area. Overall, my family enjoyed the pastries and treats. Service was ok when we were getting the items. Since it was my first time in the bakery, it was definitely hard to tell what each item was. It will be easier for customers if there was a description listed.

The owners, a husband and wife team, are amazing and bake the best treats. We tried several wonderful goodies and we were in about 9ish on a Saturday and they were already sold out of several items. We got the last ham croissant, a bag of day old items and a few other things I forgot the names of. They were all delicious and you can taste the love baked into them! We had two of our items warned in the oven and ate those right away and took the rest for later. If your in town check them out and treat yourself to some high quality baked treats!

We came here early in the AM to ensure we had first dibs since bakeries with high ratings usually sell out fast. We tried the Kouign-Amann, Petit Basque Cake, Spinach and feta Danish, and cinnamon monkey bread. Although the pastries were delicious, I do wish they were a bit sweeter but nonetheless, we enjoyed it and definitely plan to come back next time we are in the area. The bakery itself gives off a homey ambiance and it felt cozy and welcoming. Our server was super friendly and offered his help and opinions since it was our first time here.

On my second visit to Reiter's, I was again greeted in a pleasant manner and was helped promptly. For sake in the bakery cases were scones, Danish cheese pastries, and cinnamon rolls, alongside more unusual offerings (from Germany/ Austria/ Switzerland especially). There have been, both trips, items I couldn't pronounce, which I find interesting. Eclairs and Pfefferneuse I know, but what was that cake which began with an M? The kind and knowledgeable woman behind the counter will help! Go-- and try something delicious. Will return again!

Come on Red Bluff, wake up and smell the croissants and coffee!! What a gem this place is and I can't believe there's not a line out the door. There sure would be if this amazing bakery was in San Francisco, New York or Paris! The married owner operator's studied at CIA in Napa Valley which is a huge achievement. This cute little down to earth town are very lucky to have them here. The ham and cheese croissant was super buttery and flaky and the heated Kouign Aman, "Queen uh man" was out of this world! This bakery is exceptionally clean with Big Band music piping in over the sound system. Get your hot sticky buns down here and indulge yourselves, please!

So, I go on down to our local Wendy's here in Red Bluff. I do my order online, I think you have to in order to get the free fries. I order two of the double stack cheeseburgers for $3.99 each. That's a deal cause like something like that Baconator is $10 bucks just for one burger! The double stack is like a smaller double cheeseburger, but what I like here at Wendy's, you can add extra lettuce, tomato and onions and mustard, catsup and mayo .. all for free! That really bulks up the burger! Burger King charges you extra for all that stuff. I order online and then just go down and pick it up! They make my burgers when I get there, so they're fresh and hot for me. The inside is all clean and neat. I feel the extra weight of the burgers. I eat inside since I don't want the food to get cold. Wow, I could only finish one of those burgers and all of my large order of fries. I just had water to drink. I'm glad we have our Wendy's back open, since the last one burned to the ground a few years back.

The burger had nothing...no sauce, no lettuce, no tomato, NOTHING. Just dry hamburger that tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour and the bun. And, fries...simple right? Just turn the fryer on to the proper temp in the morning, and drop a basket of fries in for the proper time when ordered. They couldn't do it. Under-cooked, and again looked and tasted like they had been sitting under the heat lamp forever. It's bad enough that the quality of ingredients at most fast food has dropped off, the sizes have gotten smaller while the prices keep going way up.....but at least the (now $20/hour) employees could at least get your order right, prepare the food fresh and properly right....RIGHT? Nope, they can't even manage that. Can't even manage to make their signature burger and fries. Last time I ever go to a Wendy's....EVER.

She was so friendly and helpful! Partly because side of her descriptions, and partly bc I was hungry, I over-ordered. LOL. Chicken tenders were large. A couple were set aside as leftovers. I upgraded the fries to garlic fries-good move! They were delicious. Last, that cherry pie she mentioned was amazing. I'm glad there were 2. I had the chicken strips and fries, both were amazing and the chicken strips were huge! There were plenty of sauce options, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the ones I got. Fortunately the chicken and fries were flavorful enough to not need much sauce. My biggest complaint of the meal is that the Brussels sprouts were really lacking in flavor (they looked delicious, but tasted unseasoned) and the up-charge for getting them vs fries was unclear and seemed to be a couple dollars. Would definitely recommend skipping on the Brussels sprouts. The service was great, and the restaurant was clean and spacious. The chicken decor is kinda insane, but feels appropriate. Great spot for some amazing chicken!
