The sheets were soft and extra blankets and pillows were provided. It has a nice sized compact refrigerator, microwave, and R/0 water in the kitchen area. Snacks and drinks were provided. Then a delicious homemade breakfast with pleasant company. The hosts made me feel welcomed from the second they opened the front door of the main house. Even the parking was secure. It was the perfect get-away. I will be heartbroken if they don't have a vacancy and I have to resort to a hotel the next time I am in Lubbock.

Which didn't happen. I booked this for my wedding guests and wedding party; most hotels feel like a hospital but this one seemed more cozy and unique. Which is true its cozy but clearly they have stopped doing normal maintenance on it. Which was is embarrassing being i put my closest friends and family there. Booking was a pain through their "portal" and a huge hassle and the booking agent was almost never available. When I arrived my room smelled musty, not a huge deal to me but not cool to make me smell weird. The bathroom and counter needed a wipe down. The previous guests towel was still damp and hanging on the door. So that makes me think that it was cleaned well, maybe at all.‍ The head board had grease spots where the previous how many ever guests had rested there head as well as toothpaste splatters on the mirror frame. Also the AC wasn't really working all that well in my room but I think maybe it was just mine. Then there was many cosmetic issues like peeling wallpaper, damaged tiles, missing paint and huge dings in the hall walls. I had to ask multiple times for them to refresh the bathroom. Some of the staff is nice some not so much. Like I said it WAS a nice place but clearly needs better management and repairs. I paid for better.

From check in, when I was greeted with a friendly attitude to check out, a safe drop off from a really friendly shuttle driver. My room was so nice! There is a restaurant and bar onsite so why leave? Breakfast is included with stay and I loved the omelet station! The staff at the Elegante went above and beyond for our event. Another customer had their phone stolen on the same day by the same employee. Management was made aware and contacted the thief alerting them of the incident so they never returned back to work. It was so hot in the room. They were sold out so couldnt switch my room. Didnt sleep at all. Next day they had another room. They took $20 off the stay. Which is a joke. Climate control is as basic an expectation as a bed in a hotel. Communication from staff is awful. Never heard from the manager. This was my 4th stay. I have come in and had a room that didnt appear to be cleaned. One time there was something sprayed on the bath room walls. Not certain what that was.... I was told they would give me the stuff to clean the room if I wanted. Most recent stay they sent me a text with a less than 3 hour notice that they were going to cancel the room if I didnt prepay with a credit card. I'm glad I saw this. If I was on my flight I would have lost a room. Driving all day then finding out the room I reserved for weeks was canceled before my check in time would be awful. The customer service was laughable.

The room had a weird smell but it was clear they sprayed some sort of air freshener to try to hide it. I do not recommend staying here. It was absolutely disgusting
