I mean for 140$ we got a suite with queen beds (comfortable) and a room with a living room. However the hotel itself needs some TLC. Although the bed was clean and comfortable, the chair at the desk was really wobbly so no one was comfortable sitting there and most of the furniture was pretty badly dinged. Then I guess there was a special singer in the courtyard which made it hard to hear the tv or anything in our room. I do appreciate it but trying to put a kiddo to bed with loud live music made it hard to do. Overall, I appreciated our stay, and again for the price it's plenty of clean space, with a little wiggle room for improvement. read more

Wow, what an incredible experience! Stayed here while passing through and definitely struck gold. The room is spacious, which works well for the large family (2 queen beds and a pull out couch in a 2 bedroom suite). Breakfast is outstanding. The standard waffles, fruit, bagels, toast, muffins, coffee, cereal, oatmeal, biscuits, and grits are all there, plus a made-to-order omelet bar. Tons of seating, relaxing atmosphere, and the bar is open late into the evening as well. We rearranged our trip so we'd be able to stay here on our way back! read more

First room I got had very heavy air of a moldy mildew. Luckily I was able to get my room switched. Air was less heavy but found mold in the vents... as well as the bathroom. If it wasn't for traveling with a company. I most definitely would have chosen a different hotel. This place does not meet Hilton standards. read more

The bathroom is cramped, had a large brown spot in the tub, very dark grout, and mold-looking spots along the bottom of the wall. I didn't have hot water in my shower at 7:30 am, however family members who showered at night or later in am had hot water. The shower drainage was slow. Positives are the breakfast was a treat and rooms spacious. But, we did see a baby cockroach across our breakfast table, perhaps due to indoor greenery throughout indoor courtyard. This hotel has the potential to be a great family/ group spot with so many meeting places. It needs inspected, deep cleaned, and repaired. read more

I'm probably dating myself here, but I remember a time when Embassy Suites was THE MOVE. Fancy French Quarter vibes, your parents got tipsy at the complimentary Manager's Reception while the kids got free Shirley Temples, and the free breakfast was phenomenal. Sadly, I think those days are behind us, judging by my most recent visit. Everything was pretty worn around the edges here and in major need of a spruce up. Some of the signature awnings I remember (even on the elevator tops!) look like relics from the 90s at this point. Our room also seemed just worn out. Not that employees weren't doing their very best to maintain everything -- the housekeepers were working constantly, even though business was slow on the weekday we were there. I looked forward to a dip in the indoor pool after our long drive, but the pool smelled like a very unsavory combination of cat and way too many chemicals, and the hot tub had some sort of film on the surface. So we left. The evening cocktail hour was fine, and breakfast was the very best part of our stay. You can still get an omelette to order, and they laid out a great buffet of fresh fruits, cereals, eggs, etc. I would give this a 2.5, mostly on account of the employees. The property itself is in desperate need of a glow up. Hopefully corporate will grant the funds necessary for that to happen soon! read more

Outdated, but overall not too terrible. We used the Precor treadmills and the dumbbells in the work-out room. We did not use the pool. Breakfast was hit-or-miss with the omelet bar: 1st day not too bad, 2nd day was worse, couldn't finish it. No bananas available on the breakfast bar (I usually like a banana at breakfast). The waffles were good. The room was very outdated. There was what appeared to be black mold in the corners and crevices of the toilet/shower room. It definitely wasn't the cleanest. Very good water pressure in the shower though -- loved that. Has a very tropical vibe; looks like they have someone taking very good care of all the indoor plants. This place is disgusting - I walked in, set my bags down, went to the bathroom and...hair in sink, shower, all over the floors... broken glass/plastic on floor Carpet was filthy, crumbs and debris all over it - not to mention really old (I would never take my shoes off in this room). Furniture was probably 20 years old, fabric worn OFF, showing piping, a chair stained like someone had vomited or urinated on it - seriously, the attached pictures make the chair look good - the only thing that could clean it would be fire Shower head holder broken off - screw anchors all over the shower wall. First and foremost, its an Embassy Suites, so it's almost a 4/5 by default. But this one in particular was special. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, clean sheets. Bathroom was a little small but the suite-style setup more than makes up for it. Located near plenty of shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. And housekeeping actually paid attention to the "do not disturb" sign for a change (its been an issue at different hotels lately). The fitness center wasn't just 3 cardio machines and a yoga mat: they had a FULL gym. Pool and hot tub, free breakfast, full bar, and even had a waterfall fountain. 10/10 would stay and recommend. read more

Worn out and just old. Not at all what we expected. Wallpaper coming down in room, curtains hanging off the tracks, lamps were dirty and one not working, rusted vent in the bathroom, doors and walls were dirty. Looks like fairly new carpet however furniture not complementary to color and therefore furniture made to look even worse. Breakfast was a 4 on scale of 1 to 10 (for buffet). Had to ask how to order meat sides, biscuits were hard and instant gravy was a disappointment. Instant or powdered eggs? Significant amount of food left over as breakfast closed at 9am ...hate to see that waste and expense. Service gal was friendly and helpful however. At check out personnel in EVERY hotel should inquire as to satisfaction with accommodations. This was a grand hotel at one time and it was disappointing and sad. I was here for a conference meeting and to say this place is severely in need of an update is an understatement. First: the staff was really nice, and eager to please despite all of the issues with their dates hotel erect straight out of the 70s Also, the hotel offers complimentary snacks and select alcoholic beverages which is from 5:30-7:30pm daily, I believe. Shoutout to the really awesome bartender who remembered everyone's orders etc. We had dinner at the hotel on the first night and the menu looked decent for a hotel menu without any established restaurant front. The food was mediocre and took a while coming out for such a large group that we had. I guess any place that has atrium style indoor live plants is going to be susceptible to gnats because the sight of them caused me to keep my room's AC at 60 and blasting to eliminate. My towels and sheets were dirty. The restroom was small despite how large of a room it was. The "living room" area of the 2 room "suite" was dark and dingy and the sofa made me want to do the exact opposite of what a sofa should do, which is not touch it. The water in the shower did not drain properly which caused about half a foot of water to fill up while showering. The fitness center was decent. Overall, I was uncomfortable during my stay for being the second most expensive Lubbock hotel choice, this place was just outright gross. Lastly, something that you absolutely need to know is that at some point in the day they shut off the water in the entire the hotel excluding the waterfalls for the Koi fish so if you need to use the bathroom during that time, there is a set of port-O-potties located outside in the back of the hotel. The WORST part about this fun fact is that the staff leaves no mention of this upon checking in and just allows you to attempt to use the bathroom during water shut off to find out on your own. This is a ZERO star review we were completely misled by online photos. We were expecting a high class stay because we associate that with an Embassy suites. This was a major letdown and ruined our trip. The first room we got looked awful the desk was all scuffed and the couch looked dingy like it had never been cleaned. We opened our curtains to find a brick wall as our view with an abandoned ladder. The room overall just felt dirty and dark. The front desk person was nice and did change us to a new room which was barely a step up. The heater didn't work!! The "maintenance guy" told us to "bundle up" just in case. We were freezing all night! Especially by the window which let in a draft. We were hoping to enjoy the breakfast the next morning. It was a good selection but the potatoes were cold and the chef overhead and said no they aren't go eat somewhere else. This was after getting no sleep at all because of the uncomfortable beds and freezing room. Bathroom was tiny could barely step in and sit! Shower water got lukewarm nothing above this. Stay away from this hotel it looks like its from a 1950s apartment complex! Not worth the money, brings down the whole brand of Embassy. read more

stayed here in Lubbock at this hotel regularly for 15 years however tonight my wife with our kids was assaulted in the pool area... the person who perpetrated the assault called for management... they came, talked to my wife (which they recognized from our regularity) and while sympathetic also mentioned that the other party was checking out the next morning so they were just going to play it nonchalant... F you that's assault... we could have brought the police into this but acted like civilized adults and you said, we're going to give the assaulting bully a pass. read more

I stayed a night in room 252. It is extremely noisy with all of the interstate noise. The room is old and dated. The bathrooms are closet size. It's dark in the meeting areas I would not recommend if you want to rest after a long trip. I have a double queen bed room and one of the beds is literally against the window. Horrible for a Hilton hotel. read more

STAY ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!! Normally my family enjoys Embassy Suites, but this particular one was a nightmare from the start. One of the driving factors for choosing the Embassy over our other favorite Staybridge Suites was that Embassy has a larger gym with more equipment. As it turns out, it's all show and no go. Half the equipment was non functional, none of the TV's worked on the machines nor the large one on the wall. There's a water dispenser in the gym but it had no cups nor water. Same situation with the water dispenser in the lobby near the front desk. The entire hotel is dark and depressing and as other reviewers mentioned in desperate need of a renovation/update. I was willing to overlook these issues and just suck it up for the weekend until around midnight. I came back from the gym to take a shower and wasn't able to get the water warmer than lukewarm. Then the game of "name that mystery stain" began. There was one on the towels and another on the sheets. I called down to the front desk and while waiting for the replacement sheets, I discovered a BED BUG!!! Oh hell no! That's when I packed up and left to a different hotel. Sooo nasty!! read more

Second time staying at this hotel but never again. My first stay was underwhelming. I'm sure this place was nice at one point in time, but it's definitely past it's prime. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE NIGHTLY RATE THEY ARE CHARGING. I've stayed at much nicer options for way less. I ran the AC at 64 all day/night and was still sweating. I called the front desk to complain about our shower drainage which they said they'd look into (don't think they ever did). The picture shows what we had to shower in the next morning. Several of the linens that I inspected had holes/rips reflecting how worn out this place is. Hotel has a dark and gloomy vibe. Not a fan of the french doors. Feels eerie to dress in that area of the room especially if you need to utilize the sleeper. Breakfast buffet is nice BUT it doesn't open until 7:30 on weekends. We were in town for a sports tournament and usually have to be gone by 6:45/7 am. So unless we had a late start time, then the breakfast bar was basically useless to us. They only have 4 bag carts for such a large hotel. Of course trying checkout Sunday morning, and they're all taken. So there I was, a single woman, lugging bags down to the car for myself and my kids. read more

I still have 2 more nights of my stay left, so this review may be a bit premature! But man do I have some details to share.... First of all, Hilton Diamond here, so I've stayed in a LOT of Embassy Suites properties and know the standard to expect here. I'll start with the good stuff-- my room is pleasantly surprisingly much cleaner than previous reviews here led me to expect. Yes, the sink is in the bedroom, and the tiny toilet room is a little weird, but everything's clean. The TV in the bedroom area is tiny, but it looks like they've recently upgraded the TVs in the living area-- the one in my room is absolutely HUGE and still has some of the original protective film on its edges. When I first turned the TV on, I was nearly blasted out of the room by the insane blasting volume the person before me left it on. I quickly learned that the remote control can only lower the TV volume for about 2 split seconds after you turn it on. So I had to turn the TV off and on about 8-9 times before I could get the volume down to a reasonable level. Next, I went to log on to the internet, and the system wouldn't accept my last name and room number. No biggie, I ended up switching rooms from the one I checked into on the app, so I figured their system just hadn't updated my name in the new room yet. I picked up the phone in my room to call the front desk to see if they could make sure it was updated, and the phone in my living room had no dial tone. I went into the bedroom, that phone didn't have a dial tone either. As fate would have it, my room is on the exact opposite corner of the hotel from the front desk, so I took a nice long walk to report these issues to the front desk. Next, I decided to leave for dinner. I picked up some delicious food from Chuy's, and of course when I went to re-enter the hotel, the key card reader wouldn't accept my key. I walk all the way across the building back to the front desk. They re-activate my key. Walk all the way back to the door-- card reader still won't read the card. Walk all the way back through the front doors, then take the long hike back to my room. Food is cold by the time I get to my room, of course. This morning, I get up to shower and realize that the water isn't getting hot. I figured I did something wrong with the temp dial, so I tried different settings letting each run for about 2 minutes. I tried the hot water tap on the sink. No hot water. Yay! Still no dial tone on the phones in my room, so I get to hike to the front desk again (and back) to let them know the hot water is out (which they knew-- apparently it's out in the entire hotel and someone is working on it) and the phones in my room need to work if I'm gonna be reporting all of these issues to them. More positives: I'm getting a lot of exercise through walking back and forth to the front desk. Service at evening reception is exceptional-- they will come to your table and ask if you'd like another drink! Staff is very kind when they spot you roaming the hallway with your ice bucket clearly having no idea where the ice is. Breakfast buffet is simple, but the warm buffet/ cold bar made it super easy to load up a plate without having to wait long. I'll feel much better after a shower. read more

This hotel is badly in need of a full renovation from the restaurant/bar to the old rooms that they can't clean properly. Our room had a counter top that was covered in grease and dried on food. The shower head leaked and there was mold in the shower. Needless to say we won't be staying here again. read more

Pros: beds are comfy & they have great pillows. Cons: super outdated, not the cleanest of hotels, very musty smell I stayed here for 4 nights while in Lubbock for work. The only good thing about this hotel is the comfortable beds & nice full pillows. The hotel is super outdated and very dark and gloomy inside. Almost every towel had some kind of stain on it. I tried not to look closely at the walls because every time I did, I saw something nasty on them. The bathrooms, like everything else, are very outdated. Beware. Have stayed at this hotel many times, but this time was the last. Room was not cleaned, remote was stuck on the weather channel, Kleenex was not refilled, less than half rolls of toilet paper, melted carpet from an iron, and something that looked like mold on the bathroom ceiling. Spoke to front desk and they gave me Kleenex box and sent maintenance up to fix remote and get rid of mold. Remote worked but the TV would not turn off. All the staff is very friendly and accommodating, but this place needs an update or a tear down and rebuild. Breakfast lady is a doll! read more

Overview: Decent hotel, no glaring deficiencies. If you can get a room on points and/or less than $100 cash, it's a decent choice for the money. Long review: This particular Embassy Suites is showing its age. The overall feel is circa 1980 and most parts of it feel worn and a little uncomfortable because the standards have changed so much in the last 40 years. For instance, the bathrooms are absolutely tiny. The sink is in the bedroom, which is difficult to get ready without waking everyone in the room up (hard for families, who particularly love Embassy Suites). The toilet and shower are in the bathroom, and there is barely enough room to close the door and stand at the same time. Forget trying to bathe your kids, it's really hard. The room only cooled to 78 degrees despite running all night. That's too hot for me, I'm spoiled. It affected my sleep. The evening reception was poorly undersupplied and sloppy. Some of it can be attributed to just the fault of humanity. Do you slop chips and salsa all over the table when you visit a friend and just leave it there? No? So why did so many people do it here? But no one cleaned up and the snack tables were absolutely covered in spilled food. Other things were just understaffed/supplied, such as the water never being refilled the 45 minutes we were there, or the fact that when the plates ran out staff would bring out a tiny stack of about 10 more--despite the fact that there were easily 60 people in the large lobby. It felt like they were hoping if there were no plates people would keep walking. Again at breakfast, it was understaffed. There is a hot station where omelets and bacon are prepared. I approached and was told I could not order directly, I had to wait for a staff person to stand in front of the cook and relay my order the two feet to the cook. There was no staff member to do that. I waited. And waited. Periodically the cook would tell me "sorry for the delay, someone will be right with you". So we can exchange those words but not my request for two pieces of bacon, for that I need a medium. Alright, strange place is Lubbock. Finally a staff person comes, asks me what I want, I say "bacon please", she turns to the (two feet away) cook and says "bacon please" and he hands it over, already cooked and sitting on a plate. I mean, way to complicate a marshmallow people. Pros: Staff was overall nice when approached. Room was clean. Room had a microwave and decently cold fridge. The breakfast was great in quality and quantity. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub was great after a long day traveling. I am fond of the atrium set up overall, and the two room setup especially. And I LOVE the Hilton app where you get to choose your own room. That's airline seat selection style and absolutely fantastic! I would stay here again, but in our two week road trip we stayed in six hotels and this got the lowest rating in the whole trip. read more

QUICKIE REVIEW Looking for a room that has comfortable space in it for a few people? This is it. PARKING There is enough parking here and it is free. SERVICE Super friendly staff. As is, you are in Texas, people are big on manners. Needless to say, people are very courteous and friendly. ROOM Room was big. From the video you can see you get a mini, separate living room, kitchen area that can host a few people if needed. The entire place was well kept and clean. Bed and shower (my personal two biggies for hotels) were ok. Not the softest I have been in but welcoming. PRICE This will vary depending on what day of the week and time of year you come in. Still though, you are going to pay a bit of a premium for the Hilton brand. OTHER THOUGHTS They have a manager's reception everyday from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. During the reception they have complimentary food and alcohol. Depending on how much you drink and eat, this can make the stay worth it right here. In the mornings, they have a really good breakfast (not continental). Fresh made omelets', pancakes, and French toast to name a few things. We were on end of 2nd floor and had to make countless trips back to front desk every time we wanted in our room. All TVs in hotel didn't work the day we checked in. After our stay I saw we were double billed for our room. We've stayed a few times but there are so many better options in Lubbock, won't be returning. read more

I enjoyed my recent stay at ES. The rooms are very nice and larger than one would expect. If you come with your family, there is space for everyone to spread out. I stayed in a single King suite (room 319). The bedroom was separated from the sitting area by a door so it was nice to be able to close it while you were sleeping. My bed was a little on the creaky side but it was comfy. It didn't take me long to pass out. The entire suite was clean and well maintained. The layout of the hotel has an open hallway / balcony so all of the rooms overlook a common area below. The only issue with this is if someone slams a door or kids are running & screaming, the sound echoes and everyone hears it. Around the two courtyards, there are lots of luscious plants and trees to look at and give it a calming and zen feel. Behind the lobby is a beautiful atrium with waterfalls and a koi pond. The breakfast and evening reception was nice. You have some good choices for breakfast. The made to order omelettes are delicious. For the evening reception, free booze is always a plus. Snacks were scarce. At the evening reception, I ordered food at the bar area from the hotel restaurant - a Mushroom Cheeseburger. It was quite tasty. The front desk staff was very friendly and wanted to do anything they could to provide over the top customer service. Travis checked my family in and he personally got the luggage cart and met us on the side of the hotel to pick up the luggage from the car and deliver it to our room. Great stay! VERY DISAPPOINTING In the first room we had, the heater did not work. It was 65 degrees in the room. Also, the ceiling had black stains near the vent. When we asked someone to come in he mentioned that it did not work and to turn it off and that it may then work. Also mentioned that the black stains were probably due to smoke. Since we were freezing we asked for another room. The new room was warm. Unfortunately, the air conditioner in that room didn't work so instead we stayed in a room that was higher than 75 degrees. We asked maintenance for help and said the same thing. Also, the door to the bathroom had the strip coming off so when closing the bathroom door one would need to hold the strip to close the door. We paid 200.00 a night for what I thought was going to be a 4-star hotel and instead, we got something that resembled 1.5 stars. I will never be going to embassy suites in Lubbock Texas again. read more

Really clean and great accommodations. Free happy hour includes drinks in real glass and they provide snacks. There are several drinks to choose from on the menu. The windows are very thin in the room, so if you have a room by the street it will be loud. The room is fully stocked with a microwave, refrigerator, small living room and bedroom. Plenty of plugs for your electronics. The hotel is beautiful and well kept. read more

Generally speaking, it was pretty passable. Room was clean (but a little dated and furniture was a bit dinged up), lobby area was attractive with water features, plants, and koi. Happy hour featured some finger foods and drinks. My primary gripe: The AC chiller broke sometime in the late afternoon and all I could get from them was that the manager couldn't get the mai ntenance guy on the phone. If you care enough about your customers, CALL AN HVAC SERVICE TECH! Still wasn't fixed by the next morning, so that made for a pretty miserable night of sleep. The place really is in disrepair. We had multiple light bulbs out in our room... which is an easy fix. But we also had what appeared to be dried poop on the side of the bathtub. As we ate breakfast in the l atrium, the gnats/ fruit flies were pretty bad... the pool water was murky. I'm sure this was once very nice, but it gives off vibes that nothing has been updated or taken care of in 20 years. As much as we enjoy Embassy Suites for the rooms and the breakfasts etc... there's surely much nicer places in Lubbock. read more

This will be long, but there is a lot to say about this dump. I hope it helps you make a decision. I'll start by saying that I am a very loyal Hilton HHonors member, having been a Diamond member for multiple years, but based on how my family was treated here, I've changed upcoming business travel to Marriotts, and will be donating my 300K points to charity and cancelling my Hilton AMEX. This stay was a "reward stay" for my family to visit relatives. Not sure why it pays to get any status with Hilton, as it seems that when you're on a reward stay you are automatically a second-class citizen. On to this "hotel". On the first night (Friday), when it was 29 degrees outside, the heater did not work. They also heard another guest complaining about the lack of heat. Since they were already unpacked (3 kids have a lot of stuff) they opted to just get extra blankets, rather than change rooms, although the blankets were apparently the thinnest possible ones the hotel could buy (see attached pic of see-through blanket). Well, they were sort of unpacked, some of the ancient furniture was apparently just for decoration, as it was complete unusable. (see pic of drawer falling apart) Result: the kids (2,5, and 7) were cold all night. The next day (Saturday) the "maintenance man" came to fix the heater. He replaced the thermostat and went to get some more equipment. My family left for the day, assuming things were happening. When they returned, the heater still wasn't working and they had to go out to a retail store and buy a space heater to warm the room. Result: It was much warmer, but we actually had to buy equipment to make that happen. My family ordered "room service". They ordered 2 plates of spaghetti and made it very clear that one was with plain noodles, no sauce nothing on it, the other one with noodles and marinara sauce only. The one that was "plain noodles" came with parsley sprinkles and Parmesan cheese after we said plain, nothing on them. The other one came with the same crap after we said just marinara sauce and noodles, nothing else. We also ordered the fish and chips there was more breading then fish. He also brought the food up without silverware, he had to go back down to get it. Also, the menus (which aren't in the rooms, presumably to prevent the spread of disease) are handed out conveniently pre-handled by other guests, a complete fail. Result: Dinner was a bust.. "Room Service" was distinctly lacking in service, but somehow the price wasn't less. On Sunday I called and spoke with the front desk to attempt to get some action out of this hotel's staff. I was very clear that I wanted them to contact my family and move them to another room. They promised they would, but that was another lie. Not a peep all day. Then, that night, for whatever reason, Sunday night it was hot in the room, and of course the AC didn't work. My family had to ask the front desk for a solution and were given a box fan, and had to sleep (2 women and 3 children) with the room door open. If there was one bright spot to the experience, it was the breakfast, and more specifically the lady managing things, her name is "Esther E". Interactions with her were overwhelmingly positive, she seems to be the only employee here who understands hospitality. While to some this may seem like a compilation of "little things", the little things are what the hospitality business is about. You pay them to take care of details so that you can focus on your business trip, or vacation. Diamond member here...one of the dumpiest Embassy Suites I've stayed out across the country. Breakfast was mediocre, rooms were mediocre, pool was closed Friday evening and remained that way as we checked out. (Hotel packed with kids...poor timing to butcher the pool) Very expensive place to stay for what you get. read more

This is my second stay at this Embassy suites. I appreciate the professionalism of the hotel staff. Throughout the site whenever you run into one regardless of what they are doing they take a moment to smile, greet you and offer assistance. The room is extremely clean. I love rooms with white linen. I like the two room set up. They have made having a fridge and microwave the standard in my mind. The major plus for Embassy is the huge morning cook to order breakfast that is included with the room. Nothing like a hot breakfast to start the day off right. Another great bonus is the evening manager reception with light appetizers and drinks. Again its complimentary. Whenever I travel I look for an embassy suites first and foremost. The one here in Lubbock is great! I'll be back. read more

Sorry. I guess I'm not as big a fan as all the other reviews here. It was really just alright for my visit. I spent two nights here as a Hilton Honors Gold member. Room on the top 3rd floor - - not really much of a view, but I don't think there was any room here that has much of a view. Mine was of the back alleyway. All the staff members that I encountered were friendly. No issues there. Yes, there was complimentary breakfast available in the morning. But with so many people swarming over the omelette station, I really didn't want to wait in line - -and unfortunately (IMHO) the other choices were pretty lame and not so healthy. So I had a spoon of scrambled eggs. As far as the decor -- umm yeah, no candles in my room as all the photos show. HaHa! I wasn't really expecting them, but I just think it's funny how they included them in the photo to make the rooms look more "home-like", warm, and comfortable. I've read from others that this place looks Tuscan -- haha. Yeah, right! It seemed somewhat dated to me -- again, IMHO. But I wouldn't classify this as Tuscan -- more like old and dated with some stonework. Yes, complimentary manager's reception. It was fine. Free wine & beer is always fine, right? Chips and salsa for a complimentary snack. Nothing crazy there. It was comfortable here -- would I stay here again? Probably not - there's another property in Lubbock I stay that also has complimentary breakfast, a complimentary mgr's reception, I get more recognition for being Gold, AND it's less expensive too. read more

Historically, the Embassy suites is my go to hotel when traveling for business or personal. The hotel in Lubbock is no exception. The staff are always very friendly here. The breakfast is awesome and by the third morning the omelette guy already knew what I was going to order. Other people mentioned the slow Internet which was not my experience at all. Others also mentioned thin walls which I did not experience either. The interior is a bit dark and does need some updating and parking can be a problem especially if the bank next-door started towing embassy suit customers. The only reason I didn't give this place five stars is on the last night of our stay we needed extra towels and it took the front desk three phone calls by us in one hour to make it happen. Otherwise we would've had a five star experience. read more
