I purchased the Ayden Undyed Hand-Loomed Rug and have dealt with excessive shedding for an entire year. This is well beyond the normal break-in period for a wool rug, and the shedding has never improved. When I contacted customer service, I was told that because it had been over a year since my purchase, they couldn't take any action. Their only suggestion was that I buy a separate fabric-care tool (a Gleener) to manage the shedding myself -- which feels like being asked to pay to fix a product defect. For the price of this rug, I expected both a quality product and quality service. I received neither. I will not be shopping with Rejuvenation again and would caution others to think twice before purchasing their rugs. read more

$3,000 Chair, Two-Year Lifespan I purchased a Performance Boater Bouclé chair in Ore approximately two years ago for around $3,000. The chair is described as "heirloom quality," yet after about two years of normal use, the backrest springs began protruding through the upholstery. This represents a significant structural failure for a product at this price point. I contacted customer service and was informed that, as the chair is out of warranty, there was nothing they could do. Given the marketing claims and cost, this outcome is disappointing. Employees need to be retrained on customer service. Visited the store once. And stood there figuring things out in my own for a good 30 minutes before I had to approach someone. And even then she was reluctant to help. Her name was Megan. And even then when she provided "assistance" her demeanor was very condescending and judgmental. I left the store not purchasing anything. A few weeks later, I saw a sale on the same exact pendants on sale. I don't know why I didn't just place the order online. Instead I went through Megan. She was more than happy then to bank a sale under her belt. The order took forever. She didn't know how to key in the order. And the total came out a little higher than what I saw online. Now present day, I noticed that the pendants went on a deeper discount. Rejuvenation does not price adjust. Even though it's been only 7 days. They have the worst customer service. We found the lighting fixture we wanted in the store, but we had to go home to measure the dining room ceiling. The store asked us to call back and order through the store so they would get credit, which we were happy to do and did on October 13, 2023. When the fixture arrived, it was missing a down-rod. We called customer service, and they said a part was being sent. When we noticed the part never arrived, we called to see where the part was. Customer service told us, without explanation, that the shipment was cancelled and a whole new fixture would be shipped. That was in early December 2023. The fixture was to arrive in the beginning of January 2024. It did not arrive. When we called about the fixture, they assured us it would arrive by the end of January. It did not arrive. On February 2, 2024, we drove into Costa Mesa from Palm Springs and returned the defective fixture to the store. They would not return our money because they said the second fixture was in transit. Once the fixture arrived and we returned the second fixture, they would credit us. They said the second fixture would arrive between February 2 and 5, 2024. It did not. By February 10, 2024, the second fixture still had not arrived. We called the store. The clerk could not figure out how they had messed up so badly and had corporate call us. After a half an hour on the phone with corporate, they tried to send us a third fixture because God only knew where the second one was. At that point, we got finally got our money back. If you'd like to experience a situation like this, buy something from Rejuvenation. read more

I ordered and paid for a drain (a decorative p-trap) on Jan 8, website said it will be delivered within 4-12 business day, by Jan 23th. When I did not receive the item and reached out to Rejuvenation, they told me it is on back order for another month, plus another 4-12 days to deliver. That is much too late, I need this item for my renovation. I asked they cancel, however, Rejuvenation would not issue a cancel, saying that it is up to their vendor and it takes up to 14 days for then to respond. WHAT??? My purchase is with Rejuvenation and I paid Rejuvenation, why do I need to wait? (By the way, as of today, Jan 31, Rejuvenation was still waiting for their vendor to respond). Their FAQ's clearly states "we do not charge your card until your order is packed and ready to ship", yet they charged me right away and refused to cancel an order they could not ship. I had to dispute the charge with my bank, If I had waited longer, I would have lost the right to dispute. This is TERRIBLE. Customer Service was NO HELP. My recent visit to Rejuvenation in Costa Mesa was an absolute nightmare. My husband and I, accompanied by our 8-month-old daughter and 2-year-old son, walked into the store expecting a pleasant shopping experience, but instead, we were met with judgmental stares and disrespectful behavior from the staff. As any parent knows, young children can sometimes become restless, and that's exactly what happened with our toddlers. From the moment we entered the store, the three associates working there made it clear that they disapproved of our kids being present. Their constant glares and bad looks only added to the already challenging situation we were facing. At one point I got extremely uncomfortable when I noticed the glares the employee Albert was giving my 2 year old son. A glare of what I think a predator would look like. To make matters worse, when we finally managed to find the items we needed, that same employee, Albert engaged in a heated argument with my husband, Jerry. Instead of showing understanding or offering assistance, Albert had the audacity to insult us as parents and claim that our kids had no manners. My husband calmly explained that they were just toddlers and were naturally restless. However, Albert's response was shockingly insensitive, saying that it was our choice to have children, so we should handle it. Proceeds to saying this is exactly why I don't have children, it's a choice so handle your kids and teach them manners. At that point, we had had enough. We left all the items we intended to purchase on the counter, attempting to salvage what little dignity we had left. As new parents struggling to navigate the challenges of raising two young children, it was incredibly disheartening to be treated in such a degrading manner by an employee of a retail store. I sincerely hope that the management takes this incident seriously and takes appropriate action. No paying customer should ever have to endure such disrespectful treatment, especially when it comes to something as natural as children being restless. Albert's behavior was not only unprofessional but also reflective of the store's poor customer service standards. After reviewing all the negative reviews on their Yelp page is clearly all makes sense. I strongly urge potential customers to think twice before visiting Rejuvenation in Costa Mesa. Our experience was not only embarrassing but also completely mortifying. It is essential for businesses to value their customers and provide a welcoming environment for all. For a high-end retailer Rejuvenation has archaic technical systems. Waited 3+ months for a replacement for an Eastmoreland shade because the one we received has 2 significant scratches. Every support person we spoke to gave a different answer. We called 3+ times to change the shipping address. Guess what? That just shipped out the item (again 3+ months late and it wasn't even on backorder) to the wrong address. I have no hope that I'll actually be able to resolve this issue with support because they aren't equipped with the tools or knowledge to make things right. This review isn't specific to the Costa Mesa location but instead the company as a whole. Rejuvenation is a joke, there's no excuse for such poor communication and inability to assist for a retailer at this price point. Nan at the Costa Mesa location was amazing to work with. We have now had the 2nd worst experience with this company. The first time, we were told that we could order more than one style and return the one we didn't use. A store associate said we could return it for store credit "even if it was outside the return time frame". That turned out to be a lie. Their customer service department was terrible and did nothing to rectify the situation even though I'm sure other customers would like to purchase our extra pieces and we have ZERO doubt that other customers are waiting just as long as we did to get their items. Surely, having our items in stock at the store would have been a good thing. Cut to now and my husband ordered 8 finger pulls for new cabinetry. After waiting for some time, 4 of them were canceled and we were told the style was being discontinued. Never mind that they should have NEVER allowed the order to be placed if they weren't in stock and being discontinued. But to further complicate the matter, Rejuvenation's customer service provided ZERO service. They outright refused to cancel the second half of the order before it ships to save us the hassle of returning it. They couldn't confirm if it was in stock, or when it would ship, etc. The customer service department is the worst. We were willing to attribute our first experience to bad luck or miscommunication but after this second experience, we will never purchase from this company again. read more

After shopping online for a mid-century style table lamp, I discovered Rejuvenation, and found the perfect one (Glisan table lamp). I was about to order online sight unseen when I discovered the have a store in SoCo. I emailed to make sure that they had one on display, and received outstanding service from Assistant Manager Nan Chit. Her multiple responses were incredibly prompt, helpful and friendly. And she discovered that she had the exact lamp in stock. Not only did I receive a 20% off sale price, I saved the 10% delivery charge. And Nan gave me the option to cancel the sale for a full refund if I came in to see the display model and it wasn't what I wanted. Amazing service! I went to the store yesterday, picked up my lamp, and a staff member even brought both boxes (base and shade) out to my car on a rolling cart. Much appreciated. Have to echo several previous reviews and say this store has horrible customer service. I visited on a weekend afternoon when there were only 1 or 2 other customers in the store. Spent over 30 minutes browsing the store and wasn't greeted by a single employee. I asked one employee sitting by a computer for help identifying a faucet in a vanity and she just told me the model name, then begrudgingly got up and pointed to where that style was displayed. I love Rejuvenation's style (only reason I'm not giving a 1 star review!) but am really unimpressed by this particular brick and mortar location. Really horrible, bizarre, and frightening encounter with an employee in this store location, who got really emotional when I asked to speak to his manager (Judy), to the point that I fled the store concerned for my physical safety. Backstory: We bought 4 lights from this store location, 2 of which ($700) arrived with an obvious manufacturing defect. Everyone (including Rejuvenation) agrees they are defective, but we've been getting the run around for over a month. I've tried calling and emailing customer service repeatedly, and each time I get a new excuse of some sort, ranging from annoying (unable to find pictures I have emailed repeatedly) to the absurd (denying they even sold me the items). Finally, I decided to drive to the store where I bought the items (with face mask and adhering to social distancing), hoping I would have better luck in person. Wrong. I arrived about an hour before the posted closing time, and was greeted by the employee, who I will refer to by his first initial "I." Everything seemed normal at first. At one point, he went to the back of the showroom (if you have been in the store, where the bathroom fixtures, then the water fountain/customer restrooms, are) to consult with his manager, Judy. That's how I knew her name and that she was in the store, which is relevant for later. He eventually decided he could not help me, so he said he would take my information and get back to me. (He's literally the third Rejuvenation employee to tell me this, so I didn't really have high hopes, but whatever.) I explained that the mounting plates for the fixtures had already been installed on the drywall (before the defect had been discovered), so Reuvenation had already told me that I would be able to keep the mounting plates and just mount new fixtures to the plates. (Otherwise, I'd have to remove the mounting plates and anchors, then repair/repaint the drywall, and start from scratch). The employee did not understand this, and kept insisting that I would have to rip the plates and anchors out of the drywall and return them with the defective fixture, so that Rejuvenation could send me identical mounting plates to reinstall along with the new fixtures. Around and around. He just didn't get it. I tried explaining that my wall would be damaged, and he said: "I don't care about your wall." I asked who was going to repair my wall since he was insisting that I rip out the anchors, was I going to have to take them to small claims court just to get it repaired bc that would be ridiculous? And his response was, again, "I don't care about your wall." At this point, I realize I was wasting my time with this guy, so I said, "then I want to talk to the manager," and turned to walk back to where Judy was in the store. The employee LOST IT. He started screaming "GET OUT OF THE STORE! GET OUT! GET OUT! WE'RE CLOSED!" (It was 30 minutes before closing time.) I had turned my back to him to walk to where the manager was, but out of the corner of my eye, I sensed this employee had moved from behind the counter and was literally coming after me. I did not know what he was going to do to me. He was much larger than me (I'm 5'4'', 135 lbs, female, and just had a baby). At this point, I realize there are no other customers in the store. I started yelling "JUDY! JUDY! PLEASE HELP!" bc that was the only person I knew in the store, and I didn't know what else to do. Then I realized if I walked back to where Judy was last but Judy was in a store room or something, I could be cornered by this guy and god knows what he would do to "silence" me. So I pivoted and went to the exit instead, with this guy hot on my heels. A few seconds after I walked out the door, I hear him at the door behind me, and realized he had followed me all the way. I went to my car, locked the doors, and sat there shaking for a few minutes, watching the door and worried that this guy was still going to come after me, until I felt like I could drive. I know we are in a time of stress, but this interaction was truly bizarre and scary. We have been to Rejuvenation multiple times, and we have always had courteous and helpful staff previously, but I really don't think I can go back in this store anytime soon, at least alone. I love the quality of their products. However, the customer service by Megan is horrible. She has the most unhelpful demeanor, so when I have to go there, boy do I try to avoid her!! She always makes me feel like, it's such burden on her to answer a question. Just today, I had to call the store looking for a stock item, unlucky me got that the same cold aloof short rude attitudeof hers over the phone. I had a simple question, she immediately brushed me off and hung up the call before I could ask about another product. Management please teach this person customer service skills and don't let her ruin the vibe and run customers like me off. She has no business in retail, do back room tasks. I called immediately to cancel and was told there's nothing that can be done. Even though it is not set to ship for up to 2 days!!
