Amazingly good service here! We bought a pair of front-door exterior sconces back in 2018. One of them detached from the wall and fell to the ground, breaking the glass shroud. AI said it would likely be irreplacable, that manufacturers rarely have replacement parts, and we'd have to find a third party to fabricate or find a close substitute, most likely having to spend $1000 to replace both fixtures. We tood our fallen fixture to the Laguana Hills Lamps Plus and were happily surprised by the amazing service of store manager Robert Z and his staff. They were able to retrieve the order information from their store database using our purchase date that we had from tax records (we had no receipt available) and our email, and from there found the part number and matched it to one on the back of the fixture (which itselve was tiny and obscured). Robert then searched and found the glass shroud from the manufacturer, and for $50 we have a replacement part now in transit. Cannot say enough positive about this entire team, which put the customer first and went the extra mile. They stand by their product and provide amazingly good service. AAA+++ read more

It's nice to be able to walk in and actually see the fans on display, and talk to knowledgeable people who are very friendly and helpful. There was a small glitch in my order, it arrived with an AC motor, not the DC that I wanted. They handled the situation without any fuss and I was able to order a comparable DC motor fan from a different manufacturer. There was a $60 charge for the wall controller, but I needed it because I didn't want the hand held remote that comes with the fan. In spite of the two extra trips to the store I was happy with my experience here and I recommend them. read more

I wanted to commend Matt for his help and expertise in how to remove and replace a recess lighting bulb in my home. Because the state of California banned the sales of any light bulb that does not meet the efficiency standard it is not easy to know which replacement bulbs to order. Removing a recess bulb can be complex; not just unscrewing it from the socket. The housing needs to be removed, pins unplugged and spring metal tabs to maneuver. Matt spent the time with me over the phone to complete my task. I would highly recommend using this store for all your lighting needs. read more

I recently moved to California from New York. I brought with me 2 Schonbeck crystal light fixtures that had been in my mothers home. When I unpacked them for the electrician to install we noticed that there was no hanging hardware in the boxes. I tried to get the hardware from Schonbeck. These were discontinued items and they gave me the runaround. My mom passed away two years ago and I was heartbroken to think I might not be able to use these fixtures that she had loved. I went to Lamps Plus and Robert the manager searched and found what I needed. And he gave them to me without any charge. These fixtures have strands of crystals and each one must be attached top and bottom. While cleaning the crystals I found that on 2 of the strands had broken in the move and could I went back to Lamps Plus and this time it was Matthew, another one of the managers, who came to my rescue and found two matching crystals for me. I needed some bulbs, face plates and dimmers. Zach was my salesperson and he really took his time, lighting up the different bulbs so I could make the right choice and explaining the different dimmer choices to me. I needed an extra large face plate for one of my outlets. It was not an item that they carried but Zach went online and found me the right one and gave me the website information so I could order it! I was amazed at this level of service. Maybe you can save a few dollars going to the Home Depot, though I found the prices at Lamps Plus to be pretty reasonable, but is it worth it when you can get this kind of service at Lamps Plus? I certainly don't think so. And it's important to support this kind of business so at those times when you need someone with real expertise, they are going to be there. read more

I went into the Lamp Plus store located at 23451 Avenida De La Carlota, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, to purchase the Bronze Sculpture to give as a gift to my friend, which is very valuable to me, and when I found my favorite item and went to the cash register to count, I asked them to put it in the box for me, after taking the item and when I was on my way to my friend's house, I noticed that they put my order into the Black Drum Cartridge box ( Photo attached ). I'm really amazed at how they are serviced, how they put the product I bought in the Cartridge box. I bought as a new product to give as a gift to my friend, why you don't care about your customers at all, and why you don't value your customer.
