Unfortunately, after the wax, my skin over my eyes was burning more than usual but I thought it would go away as it usually does. In about an hour it didn't get better and today I woke up with these red spots and my skin really hurts. I'm not allergic to anything and my skin is not extra sensitive and I've been waxing my eye brows for many years and it's the first time this happens to me.

Hello, I called Relax and Wax inquiring about an underarm and Brazilian wax (on a Tuesday). Their team answered promptly and offered me 2 available times to come in (I picked 12pm vs. 2pm). When I arrived I logged in (very simple) and was given directions to the restroom which was easy to find, clean and spacious despite it being a single bathroom. As I returned, my Esthetician/wax specialist (Tracey) caught me as I was passing the door and told me I could come on in. Despite my uneasiness, she remained "P.O.P" (Polite, Professional and Organized: which are 3 things I look for within an establishment) the entire time. I'd also agreed to let another young lady in on my session (yikes) but of course, she was just as polite and professional as Tracey was and in no time I was out. - Located in a plaza near Chase Bank - Parking Lot Parking - Walk Ins Available (I recommend calling in advance like I did) - Current special- $65 full body wax I would recommend. *This is a real review read more

I have only been coming to Relax and Wax for about 6 months now maybe even a little bit longer. All of the staff members are very very friendly. The studio is very clean and sanitary. I only let person do my Brazilian wax which would be Polly, she is wonderful. I have only been getting waxed for about a year or so now. Every since I have started getting waxed with relax and wax; I have had no issues like i was having before, Polly takes her time while doing your wax, and she makes sure that you are comfortable which i ABSOLUTELY love! I have never been uncomfortable and or in pain when getting my wax with her. When I go into the studio I feel as if I am at home, they greet me with open hands, it almost feels like a second home to me. The service is amazing! I went there yesterday, Very pretty and welcoming environment. I got my Brazilian done for the first time. I was very scared and did not know what to do. Victoria had me fill out a sheet with my information then I followed her to the room. I was told I had to remove my clothes from the waist down and lay down on my back. She was so sweet and funny she made sure she told me the whole process step by step about what was doing on. She told me about the after care everything, I did not have one doubt. She was gentle and I loved how we spoke the whole time about all sorts of things. I didn't even see the time passing It hurt a little but it's normal. I was able to call and make an appointment enroute with ease. I was greeted warmly upon walking in. They have such a cute and tranquil set up. You will definitely be at ease from the onset. Now let's talk about the actual service....20 minutes from start to finish...yay!!!! Tracey was absolutely amazing! We talked the entire time and she did a really great job. This is the BEST waxing salon I have ever been to. Polly is literally the best aesthetician I have ever met and I wish I hadn't ever gone anywhere else before I met her!! The entire experience each time I go is wonderful, from the clean facility to the friendly staff. I brought my roommate to get waxed after I had such a good visit, and she loved it too!! I have been going to the Natural Body day spa for over a year for my B-waxing and they were $65-$80 for a brazillian wax. I found Relax and Wax because my waxer no longer worked there. Not only was it $25 for a first time client, but the waxer, MARIA, is the bomb.com She is very down to earth and good at what she does. I walked in and was warmly greeted by the receptionist, who took the time to explain the differences between the wax options. After hearing the benefits, I decided to go with the chocolate wax. After using the restroom, I was taken back almost immediately by Gleiciana. It had been about three months since my last wax because between nursing school and work, I just haven't had time to make the long drive to my usual wax studio. I already knew it was going to be painful regardless of the type of wax because I had waited so long. Gleiciana was absolutely amazing. She applied pressure after each pull, which really helped minimize the discomfort. She was incredibly thorough and paid close attention to detail throughout the entire appointment. She even waxed my inner thighs and happy trail without charging extra, which I've never experienced before. She also took the time to tweeze the stubborn hairs to make sure everything was perfect. One thing I especially appreciated was how she had me bring my legs to my chest for the backside instead of having me lie on my stomach and spread my cheeks. For personal reasons, that made me feel much more comfortable, and I truly appreciated her professionalism and approach. This was honestly one of the best waxes I've ever had and, without a doubt, the smoothest results I've ever gotten. Usually after a Brazilian, I'm pretty sore and throbbing afterward from the trauma to my skin. This time, I barely had any discomfort afterward. I did take an ibuprofen before my appointment, but I've done that before and still experienced soreness, so I honestly think the chocolate wax may have made a difference. As far as whether the chocolate wax is less painful, I can't say for certain since I had gone so long between appointments. However, I can confidently say the overall experience was exceptional. The location is convenient, the customer service was top-tier from start to finish, and Gleiciana exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place, and I've definitely found my new regular wax studio!

Quick service and great prices!…read more I've been going here for about a year and after referring all my friends here, I finally decided to write a review about this place. Note: there's two locations - I'm not sure if they are owned by the same owner, but they are both located in the same plaza. I've only been to the second location once- which is located upstairs, so I don't have much of an opinion of their second location. It does get pretty busy on the weekends, so either come early or on the weekdays if you don't want to wait. However, even on their busiest days, the longest I had to wait was 20 minutes. I only get my eyebrows threaded here, but they offer other services as well! Eyebrows are $5 now (it used to be $4). However, this place is one of the cheapest places for eyebrows I've found and I've been pretty pleased with the services. I don't have a particular person I go to (you have to pay more if you request for a certain person), but I haven't had any issues with any of the people who did my eyebrows yet.

Unfortunately, despite that, when I came to get my eyebrows done last Thursday, and despite me speaking to the woman who did my eyebrows in Hindi (but maybe she did not hear), I was still treated badly when I went to pay. The girl ringing me up asked her (in Hindi), if the cost should be $5 or $6 and the woman who did my eyebrows, again obviously thinking I can't understand her, says loudly $7. I don't mind paying $7 if that's a consistent thing, but I do have a problem being discriminated against as if I'm not Indian, just spoke to you in Hindi, and have had previous conversations about these things in the 2 years I have been coming here! That was just really shocking and upsetting behavior. I obviously won't be returning and will be sharing my experience with my friends.

This was my first time using this place and I can say they did a wonderful job on my eyebrows and…read morelashes. They made me feel so comfortable the establishment was nice and clean. Also I wasn't sure on which lashes to get and Sabina made magic happen with these lashes. I will b back soon
