If you need a deep tissue massage, don't go here. I've been going here for about a year almost every month because I loved the deep tissue massage. But the past few times I've been here, the massage therapists haven't been able to provide deep muscle work like they used. I've requested people that were really great during my first visits, but now it just feels like a light swedish massage and I just wasted 90 mins of my life. Every time I ask for a more firm massage, they just laugh and there's no pressure difference whatsoever. I always give a generous tip too because I know it is not easy. Clean sanitary professional setup and a truly wow massage. I got a 90 minute deep tissue with this lovely gentleman called Ronnie. He listened to my cues and give me exactly the treatment that I needed for my sore muscles and knots. The 90-minute massage is priced at $115. They run some weekly specials which are a really good deal. They were not able to use my HSA card but generated a computer invoice so I can pay myself back. They have no steam or sauna unfortunately but the massage is truly high quality. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis. Recommended. read more

I have been wanting to get a massage and I'm so glad I found this place. Making an appointment online was easy. We booked our massages with the online booking site. User friendly and easy to navigate after playing around with it. Parking was readily available and check in was a breeze. At the front counter they confirmed our appointment. However even when we chose who we wanted she asked if we wanted someone else but we wanted specific workers. We were also given the choice of getting massages in separate rooms or the couples room. I guess the couples room was available so we opt for it. We chose Lilian and Michelle for our services and these two ladies delivered! My body has been through so much stress and full of knots! Lilian was able to release all tension and knots in my body. I felt like a new woman afterwards. This place is very affordable and does a great job if you're looking for a massage. While searching for a good massage place I came across RADS and saw they had a Wednesday special for a 60 min combo foot and Swedish massage for $60. I wasn't able to make the appointment online so I called in the morning and they were able to get me an appointment same day. This place is worth all the high ratings! As soon as I walked in, I felt relaxed. The place was clean and there were only private rooms. I wasn't sure if the foot massage was in a chair, but the entire massage was on the massage table. The bed was nice and warm. Crystal did a great job with my massage. I spoke my broken Mandarin to her, so I'm not sure if she speaks English. I almost fell asleep and I never do that! I got a 60 min Swedish massage, the masseuse checked in the beginning if the pressure was OK and where she should focus on, then took her time to really get the knots out which I appreciated. I have been a pretty consistent regular at this location since I've moved to the area about 10 years ago. I do think there was maybe a change in ownership at some point but service has always remain the same. This is my favorite place to wind down. I recommend buying the package! They do offer a few add-ons every once in a while, I will treat myself and add a essential oil! Man oh man! What a disappointment my visit was to Relax Ave Day Spa yesterday! I give 0.5 Stars! I was looking forward to a relaxing 1 hour massage and hoping to feel mushy and relaxed after. Instead, I was disappointed and pissed. I booked 30 minute foot massage and 30 min deep tissue back massage. I walked away furious after giving feedback to both the massage therapist and the reception/Admin person. The foot massage was meh, the person didn't use the pressure point techniques many therapists use. The heel was barely touched and my toes were only brushed. My calves were barely squeezed, and shins weren't touched, at all. I didn't complain as I was looking forward to the deep tissue back massage. Walking into the room, all looked great. I was looking forward to getting my shoulder, back, and neck muscles squeezed and rubbed. Instead, I got elbow tip on my ribs, bone on bone, on my shoulder blades. I took it for 2 minutes and I told the therapist. "Hey, this is painful and I am not enjoying it". She giggled and said "I will make better" and she didn't. She slowed down. Then she moved to second half of my back and I complained again. I said I need my muscles massaged not my bones smashed by the tip of your elbow. She slowed some more. I was boiling pissed. She deserves a 0/5. Walked out and complained to Admin, all I got was "Sorry". So beware all, never coming back again! read more

Note: Great local owned Spa with some great therapists. I have been coming here for about a year. I even bought a massage pack, you get a little discount. They are professional, consistent, and easy to make an appointment. They have a couple options, I prefer to spend the extra few dollars for a private room deep tissue table massage. I have always had a great massage, male or female therapists. They really check in well and adjust to your area of preference. their English may be just a little limited, but thats ok. They do well enough to communicate for basic needs. They do have a foot/body combo where you are in a shared room, but its a little too loud for me. They also have a seated back 30 minute massages as well where they go over the shirt. Not bad options if thats your preference. I usually shop around for a while for massages, in this case, this was the second one I tried in the area and its so good I haven't had to find a new option. read more

My favorite things about the business: (1) The therapists are professional and amazing at what they do! (2) The rooms are clean, music is relaxing, and heated beds are super comfy. (3) Scheduling appointments is always easy. (4) Prices are reasonable. To elaborate more for those who want to keep reading: PROFESSIONAL: English is not always the therapists' preferred language, in fact, most of the masseuses mainly speak Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese. Even if there is a slight language barrier, that doesn't stop them from communicating to ask if the pressure is good or what areas you would like to focus on. CLEAN: Ever since Covid, I've noticed every room has an air filter and all therapists wear a mask. I've also noticed that the business staggers appointments to allot for enough time to clean rooms prior to the next customer arriving. Specifically reviewing PRENATAL MASSAGES: If you are pregnant, I HIGHLY recommend coming here to have all those lower back pains, side pains, and general body pains from carrying a growing human melted away. There is a special room with a U-shaped pregnancy pillow that you can just sink into. The bed is heated to keep you warm and the masseuse will place a fluffy pillow in between your legs for extra comfort. For those who are new to prenatal massages, you will lie on one side while the therapist works on one side of your body, then half-way through, you'll flip over and they will work the other side. If you don't mind someone touching your gluteus maximus (aka: your butt), then I would recommend my favorite prenatal therapist: Nancy! I didn't even realize I had so much tension down there until she kneaded it all away! PRICING: Super reasonable/affordable for the quality of service! You can pre-purchase packages at a cheaper rate. I forget the specifics since they have changed over time, but last I remember they offer bundles of 4 massages that need to be used up within a certain time frame (a couple months?). Unfortunately, the bundles are not offered for prenatal massages, so for the time being I will just keep paying $78 for my prenatal massages. It's still super worth it in my opinion! read more

I've been coming here for years and cannot speak highly enough about this spa. I typically get the one hour foot massage and love being able to stay fully clothed while getting a massage. This type of massage is a great pick-me-up that really helps get the circulation going. No, it is not like a true therapeutic massage, but I love this kind of massage all the same! I used to come here with my mom, when she was alive and we always made a day of it. Now I go by myself or bring friends and still make a day of it. It really doesn't get any better than getting a massage and then going to lunch. I've never been pressured into giving a tip, but I always do. Conveniently located by Ross/Marshalls in a small strip mall right off Dublin Blvd. The place is small but oh so clean! I loved that!! It was possibly the cleanest massage place I've ever been to and the ladies were so nice. I was a little wary of having to pay for the massage upfront (since we'd never been there before) but it ended up being super convenient because they were busy as we were leaving. Massages were good! My masseuse asked me several times if the pressure was alright and I like that. I think I even dozed off a little. Definitely will be back. I went with my husband to get a prenatal for myself and a deep tissue for him. We had the worst experience ever. My masseuse asked me to lie flat which is something no one does! She was pulling my hair with too much force and only did one side. She also didn't clean properly after. My husband was in pain when he left. He was more sore and was glad when it ended. Came here on Wednesday as they have a special. When we walked in, it was very clean, comfortable and serene. The receptionist was friendly and spoke clear English. We were asked to wait a few minutes and shortly, someone came out to show us to our room. We were given a choice as to a male or female masseuse. Hubby had a male, I had female. Again the room was clean, comfortable and serene. We were given 30 min massage, 15 min head massage and 15 min foot massage, all without leaving the massage table. The masseuse were very good; they worked on our knots esp in the neck and shoulder area. The pressure was just right, which they did check in with us. The massage was relaxing yet productive. This place is flat out amazing. Every masseuse and the front desk person are super nice - and they accommodate with a willing smile (even when you mistake locations!). The chair and foot massages are, bar none, some of the best I've ever had. The pressure is great, the room is relaxing, and the entire ambiance just feels so low key it is phenomenal. I have a membership at another place and that is going the way of the dinosaur shortly - the packages here are not only less expensive but the value is better and the massages are much more to my liking. They get all the spots. I think I might be gushing - but I've had a hard time finding a good massage place here in Dublin/Pleasanton and I am so happy to have landed here. An update with another 5 star review! Was happy they are open again after covid shutdowns. It feels very clean, safe and comfortable. I mostly get the foot massages. I personally request that they end with the feet instead of having me sit up so they can do a quick shoulder and back rub. I am so relaxed after the foot rub I just prefer to end the bliss there. Plus, there is already an amazing neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage while you are getting a hot foot soak. Getting the prepaid massage packages is a great deal too! Give them a try!! read more

You have to know what to expect coming here. Everyone I've had over the last few years was pretty strong and had lots of pressure. This is why I come here. Sometimes, you just have to be taken to the edge of pain in order to feel good. That's why I come here. That being said, I visited a few days ago and took advantage of their Spring Special ($16 for 15 min chair massage) and a Just for You 30 min foot massage add on (for $10). So that's 45 min for $26. Awesome deal. We started with the chair massage and ended with the foot massage. My massage therapist did some trigger point and deep tissue massage. Deep finger tips and pointy elbow in the shoulders and back felt really good. Foot massage was even better. He put lots of pressure on the heel and on the bottom of my foot. A little painful occasionally but that lasted only a very short while. Again, coming here, I expect that and enjoy it. Make sure you get on their mailing list so you get emailed all the specials!
