I would not recommend anyone this place. The owner itself does the horrible job she doesn't do what the client asks for. I think they only care how much money they going to make most of the people are rude. I got my nail done and it looked like it was 2 weeks of growth and she used old gel polish which came of on top. I had nails done before and it stayed the same for 4 weeks. I feel like half of them might not even have a license to do the job. everyone works hard for there money and I strongly believe that you should get what you pay for. I hadn't had a pedicure in over a year. I was very overdue for a pedicure. Firstly, I was impressed by their menu/selection of pedicures. The pedicurist recommended Sun-Kiss Pedicure (which included sea salt scrub and parrafin, I love parrafin!).NewHouse did a great job on my friend's toenails, so did my pedicurist ( did not want to be named). Unh did a design on my big toenails, beautiful!! I would go again (even though I don't live nearby) just to try the other types of pedicures and because they did a wonderful job! Hawaiian pedicure is recommended! Everyone was friendly and I don't have anything negative to say, my pedicure with design took an hour to do (including drying time), that's not long. Quality nails! Ester did my no-chip today, and the experience is review worthy. Everyone even the customers are friendly, easy to talk with and professional. I have thin nails they have some technique with powder that strengthens them before my no-chip. Lady next to me different nails, treated her with a different solution. Went to a place before this and they missed up my nails. I wasn't happy but I passed this place on the way to night school one night and stopped in the next day, the fixed all my nails that I was unhappy with and did a great job. I've been going there ever since. I will not go anywhere else! This place is amazing they know what I like done to my nails. And the are very friendly. I bring all my friends here. I first went to Relax Nails back in September after receiving a coupon in the mail. Went for a spa pedicure and was totally impressed. The place is small but modern and spotless. Extensive pedicure menu I've never seen anywhere else. They offered drinks and we could even bring our own (beer, wine whatever)! The pedicure was incredibly relaxing (especially in the huge comfy massage chair) and perfectly done. They have a great variety of colored nail polish and even colors for gels/acrylics. I went back a couple weeks later for my pink & white fill. I have never had it done so perfectly as they did it here. Quick and precise. This has been my new salon ever since! They are even open on Sundays which is awesome for busy people like me during the week! read more

I went last week Thursday and got the No Dip and it already came off. I started to notice bubbles under the color on Sunday and it easily came off today while at work. They were also rude to my friend that came with me. Her No Dip is also starting pull away from her nail. Hopefully hers lasts longer than mine. read more

I recently received a "dip" polish for my nails and was not satisfied. The person who did my nails made my cuticles bleed and was supper aggressive while doing my cuticles. He actually did the dip polish prior to doing my cuticles, and my nails look really terrible. When asked if I liked them by another employee I said absolutely not and was still charged for this terrible mess that I have to get fixed at another salon. I will not be returning due to the inadequate work that was performed by this employee, and the owners never once talked to me regarding this situation although I consulted with the other employee. read more

I just started a new job in Schaumburg and figured I should find a nail place for when I have a break or after work to get a mani/pedi. This place is 2 min. away so I figured I'd try it out! It was 9:30am on a Monday so there was nobody in there. The staff was super friendly and even offered me water. The mani/pedi was great! The girl took her time and paid close attention to detail. She did a great job massaging my feet and hands too! (the BEST part!! lol) My nails were shaped perfectly (which i am very picky about!) and she did a super cute design on my toes with rhinestones and all! I will def. be going back! read more

We have been going to Relax Nails for a few months now. It is apparently under new management based on some of the reviews I have read. We never went when it was owned by the prior people. The "new" Owners are wonderful and they do a very nice job with all of their services. My daughter is a huge fan of all the latest colors and enjoys the nail designs. I have been getting no chip and the polish lasts for at least three weeks. I would recommend visiting this salon. They have convenient hours and are open very day. read more

They do a very thorough job and the prices are reasonable. They are very prompt about answering the phone to make appointments. They are very pleasant to be around. The decor is always clean and fresh. They offer a wide array of services from message, waxes, no chip and gels. The only feedback I would give them, which prevents a 5 star rating, is that occasionally staff will have a complete conversation in native language from across the aisle, when I am sitting right there in front of them. They are convenient to me and I will go there every time, MOST of the time they are the best!! I have a personal preference, not to hear cross conversations while I am being served. read more

The name of this place should be "Super Rushed Nails"! I went in for a mani/pedi and came home a very unhappy customer. The lady that did my pedí barely did anything. Her paint job was good but I got maybe a two sec massage each leg. The lady that did my mani wow! I got gel and she left it all over my skin and she missed a lot of sides on most my nails. In the end I left paying 68 dollars for a real crappy job. Thank gawd I didn't get designs or anything I probably would have been even more unhappy than I am. The one person I can say that looks like she does an amazing nail job is Julie. Other than her I'm surprised they all have nail licenses. read more

If there was a zero for rating...that's what I would give. I went in with a coupon, three dollars off mani pedi. The person doing my nails was nice but the owner was a complete (you know what) and rude. My nail polish would not dry and I said it was because the Polish was too thick. He denied it and I said that I watched as my manicurist put thinner straight into the bottle. Bad salon. Bad service. Old products. NOT worth the time for bad nail polish that won't dry...then having to remove it when you get home. read more

I would like to start by saying that I am a licensed cosmetologist. I am licensed to do nails, but as a preference choose not to do them on my own. I first visited Relax on a Saturday, and was impressed with my first impression. The staff was friendly and helped me right away. The salon was amazingly clean and had state of the art sanitizing equiptment, which was being used. I am very picky in general, as you would be of your own trade as well. I had a pedicure and an acrylic fill done. It was AMAZING!!! They use good quality products too! There were no short cuts and nothing was diluted (polishes...etc). The prices were extremely reasonable and the staff was very knowledgeable. The talent in that place is also well above what I expected. I wasn't a dollar, I was a person. They know my name and my family. I have referred several of my own clients there, and professional to professional says a lot. If you want fantastic quality and service, Relax Nails is the place to go! I highly recommend everyone there, as they have all done nail services for me. read more

The BEST nail salon I've ever been to hands down! I'm a stickler for cleanliness and this salon is so sanitary that they utilize a new liner for every customer receiving a pedicure. HORRIBLE, RUDE service (1st time client, mani-pedi service). My nail tech repeatedly tried to up-sell me on no-chip nails, each time I thanked her for offering but told her I wanted the basic service. Finally I told her I've done no-chip before and wanted to give my nails a break because they had become brittle over time - she replied by saying that it wasn't true "no chip don't damage nails, you're just cheap"! WTF!!! . For the next 15 minutes I heard how no-chip is "so much better". I guess because I refused, she half-a$$ed my pedi. She was about to polish my toes without the typical swipe under the nail, trim and file process. When I asked her to trim a bit, she was clearly annoyed and barley touched them. Realizing she was again about to start the polish, I asked her to trim my bigger toe down a bit more and that the corner dug in a little, she said out loud that I probably had a fungus and refused to do more. A few people rolled their eyes which made me feel slightly less embarrassed but - she was COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I had an upcoming Dr. appt and of course, now paranoid, I asked her to look at my toe, and guess what - no fungus!!! Even worse, the manager (only a few seats away) had to have heard her remarks and said nothing. One star for the mani. Do yourself a favor and avoid the hard up-sell, rude comments and the UNPLEASANT and SUB-PAR SERVICE. read more

yesterday i went to relax nails for the first time. i have been getting acrylic nails for about 6 months now and have tried a few other places. this was by far the best experience so far. the acrylic full set was only $25 and my nails look beautiful!! i had kim and she did them exactly as i asked. everyone there was very friendly and we talked the whole time. i went with my friend who got gel nails and she also loved them! i highly recommend! read more

This place went downhill! Really upsetting cause I used to go here all the time I was a very loyal customer and now when I walk in here it is seriously just a horrible vibe all around. The workers are grouchy. Once me and my friend went to get our eyebrows done, while we were waiting in the room we heard the other employees in the break room and the lady was screaming on the phone and me and my friend were about to leave because we felt so uncomfortable then next thing you know the lady who was yelling on the phone comes in to the room to do our eyebrows. She was clearly upset about something and finished BOTH of our eyebrows in 10 mins. After she finished my friends eyebrows she applied wax to her upper lip and she said "oh no I don't want my lip waxed" and the lady replied "oh I thought you did, you need it"... Like how rude can you be? She didn't even ask if she wanted it she just put the wax on her because she wanted to make more money and probly thought she would just go along with it. Then she proceeds to take the wax off WITH A COTTON BALL. When we left she still had wax on her face. But anyways Some people might like it when they get their eyebrows done that fast but I don't because I appreciate when they take the time to make them look nice not just rush through it. And to top it off she used ONE waxing stick for BOTH of us, that is SOOO unsanitary (and cheap). Health code violation for sure. So this brings me to the conclusion that I will never be returning back here. read more
